personally love the interaction in the start of s4 where steve goes “ugh, you know i don’t do double vhs.” when robin suggests doctor zhivago. like ugh robin!!!! we’ve talked about this before!!! steve has a limited attention span and if robin puts on something too long, he will start shooting her with rubber bands

Steve and Robin come out to see Corroded Coffin at their Vegas stop and they have a great time and after the concert they and the band go out for drinks because when in Vegas right? and they all maybe go a little too far and get blackout drunk and Steve, Eddie and Robin all wake up in a bed together, fully clothed of course, but incredibly hungover and it takes them a while to notice the rings but then Steve finds the certificate and all hell breaks loose

Robin and Eddie got married last night

Steve has never felt more betrayed in his LIFE, he was supposed to drunkenly marry Robin one day, they're soulmates, how has she ended up married to Eddie?? the two of them shrug as Steve storms around the room, Robin totally apologetic and willing to make it up to Steve, Eddie relaxing back into the bed because now he has a wife and a boyfriend

Eddie has to leave for his next tour stop so they can't annul it straight away but when they do they gleefully tell everyone who can hear that they never consummated their marriage thank you very much and headlines hit the next day about the lead singer of Corroded Coffin getting a divorce from his secret wife, an ex wife who left hand in hand with another man and all hell breaks loose again when Steve realises this means people think they can just hit on Eddie now they think he's single

I love how in most fics with stobin, Robin is either completely grossed out by Steve’s sex life, or they are both so horrible invasive and truthful with each other that Steve and Robin have no problem talking about sex. Both bring me joy. I love these platonic soulmates.

Candid Photos: 'Party's Proof'

The party is sick of their lovey-dovey, touchy-feely behavior and wishes them to just get together already. So the kids come up with a plan. Picture proof to show that they are meant to be. After one year of collecting 'the proof', the kids sat Steve and Robin down for an hour-long intervention/presentation. By the end of it, Steve and Robin just looked at each other, both with their eyebrows raised high. Then after a minute of silence, they burst into uncontrollable laughter, leaning against each other.

Robin watching sports games and occasionally giving her best go at basketball (and having an absolute blast swimming laps) with steve. steve listening to robin play and trying new weird music with her and even fucking around with her trumpet when she'll allow it. they're not the best at their new interests but they just do it together anyway and have fun just engaging with their hobbies together

stobin is like. robin making coffee for steve early in the morning because she knows hes grumpy when he wakes up, and knowing exactly how he likes it. when theyre leaving the house together steve always gets to the door a little earlier so he can untie robin's laces because she always just kicks her shoes off and then it takes ages for her to actually get them on again when they go out. robin knowing how to comfort steve when he's upset (he doesn't like anyone to see him crying - except robin of course - so if they're with the others she'll discreetly escort the pair of them into another room). steve knowing robin's triggers, and the certain materials that make her feel all too much, and actively going out of his way to make sure he doesn't have any in the house. all these little things that aren't so little, not in the long run.

i know i always joke about steddie and the *bing* moments where steve realises he’s bisexual and i do love that hc but i am honestly a true believer that

he knew he was bisexual at least since robin came out to him and he was asking her questions about being queer and she’s like “um, steve, did you not know YOU are queer??” and he’s like “what?” and she’s like, “have you LISTENED to the way you talk about men?? and how you like…ogle them from across the mall steve you are bisexual” and he’s just staring at her w that *processing™️ look* and then is like “ohhh.” and she nods and goes, “yeahhh.” and then suddenly everything makes a lot more sense and now they talk to each other about boys & girls that’s why his (steve)/their energy seems so much more open & natural in st4 as compared to st3.

i do believe that those moments with eddie were more so realising he’s in love with/really attracted to him. bc yeah we know he was not prepared for that. falling for eddie the freak.

there is always steddie fic with one (or more) of the characters missing. Which yes, yes it’s fine. You can’t squeeze all dynamics into fics, especially if you are focusing on the pairing. What I won’t accept? No Robin Buckley. She needs to be at least be mentioned. She doesn’t need to be there but her presence needs to be acknowledged. That is the bare minimum. Honestly, she need to be included in mass variety in every fic. There is no Steve without Robin, and there is no Robin without Steve. You will have to pry my favorite platonic soulmates from my cold, dead hands. Am I a steddie truther through and through? Yes. Do I respect other pairings even though they aren’t my favorites? Also yes. But do I ultimately put platonic stobin first and foremost? Absolutely. You think these lovable dinguses that share one brain cell don’t become best friends in every universe??? Sorry, your wrong. Steve and Robin are bound together by forces in which we will never understand.
