I intend to keep this account mainly art-based, but I wanted to share these pics of me cosplaying as my fictional hero, Nausicaä (of the Valley of the Wind).

I can't express enough how perfect Miyazaki has written this character. She was the hero that every living thing in her strong but gentle presence needed, in the movie AND manga. If you haven't seen either, I strongly recommend.

She is everything I hope to be as a person.

After a long month and two weeks I’ve finished my howl coat!! Though not for me, it was fun to make, and I hope the recipient likes it.
