So, @nagisushi, i got you for the secret santa! hope you like this!
♡♡♡♡♡
It was December 22nd, three days away from Christmas. Karma had invited him and Sugino over to his house after realizing in horror that Sugino had never watched a Sonic Ninja movie in his entire life. The three of them were going to binge watch the movies and then sleepover since they probably wouldn’t be able to finish catching Sugino up to speed in just one day.
With Christmas coming up, his mother’s job had become just about busy enough that she’d rather have him go away until she had less on her plate. Honestly, Nagisa was glad she wanted him away for a while. He didn’t want to have to walk on eggshells around her either.
And so, here he was. In front of Karma’s house, Sugino beside him, and a backpack with his toothbrush, pajamas, and a spare change of clothes.
"Watch your step," Karma warned, stepping aside so they could come in. "Don't step on the tripwire," he pointed out a thin piece of string rigged over the floor at ankle-height.
"Why do you have a tripwire at your front door?" Sugino looked at him in disbelief. "Actually, why do you have a tripwire at- y'know what? I'll ask you that some other time,"
"Never know when someone's gonna break in. Come on, let's go watch Sonic Ninja,"
Nagisa laughed nervously, and followed Karma to another room, ducking under a rubber spider hanging from the doorway by a thin string.
Once they got into the room, Karma promptly launched himself onto a pile of blankets and pillows on the floor in front of a TV.
Nagisa and Sugino sat down next to him. It was comfy, though small enough that the three of them had to squish together a little.
Karma took a remote out from one of the pillowcases, and started playing the movies.
Nagisa had watched them before, but it was still interesting to see the characters react and change as the story progressed.  Besides that, he always noticed a little detail he'd dismissed before that made the plot twists seem so obvious. Sonic Ninja really did have good replay value, even if it had a few somewhat cliche twists, they made sense in the plot after rewatching it.
Something else that made this time exciting was that it was Sugino’s first time watching Sonic Ninja ever.
Seeing him quickly take a liking to certain characters, disliking others, dismissing some details while looking too far into others, it was refreshing to see Sugino react from the series.
Sugino also had a habit of grabbing onto his arm during the jump scares. It was a little surprising at first, but after a while, Nagisa ended up holding hands with him during the tenser moments. Sugino’s hand was strangely warm, but it felt nice since it was a little cold.
As for Karma, he had a bit of an annoying habit of keeping a running commentary during movies. It was just something that happened while watching them, though it certainly led to having a peek into his thought process if he was focused hard on the scene enough to say things without a filter. For some reason, he didn’t do it as often this time. Every few minutes, he’d open his mouth, start to say something, and then close it again.
Plus, despite how mischievous he usually was, he wasn’t a bad host. He’d been awkward when he, Sugino, Kayano, Okuda, and Kanzaki had shown up without warning when Karma got sick, but give him a clear idea of what would happen and he would be fairly prepared for the day. Karma kept them well-supplied on snacks and drinks, passing around bottles of soda, boba drinks, along with popcorn.
At some point, Nagisa ended up with Karma’s arm slung over his shoulder, with both him and Sugino leaning gently on Nagisa. It was warm and comfortable, and felt strangely safe.
And somehow, between the familiar storyline, Sugino’s hand in his, Karma’s arm over his shoulder, and being tired in general, he fell asleep. He was vaguely aware of movement, whispers, and what might’ve been the sound of a photo being taken, but he managed to sleep through it.
When he woke up, it seemed that some time had passed already. The TV was off, for one thing, and when he checked his phone, it was already 6.30 pm.
“Hey,” Sugino said, with damp hair and soft-looking dark blue pyjamas. “You fell asleep earlier, do you wanna go take a shower?”
Rubbing his eyes, Nagisa stood up. Sugino took Nagisa’s bag. “I’ll help you take this to the bathroom, apparently there's a trap on the door handle. Karma’s off picking up some food. We already ordered for you earlier, since we didn’t want to wake you up,”
"Oh, thanks," Nagisa said. He wasn't sure why Karma would have a trap in his bathroom, but it was nice of Sugino to take him.
While he was drying his hair, Nagisa heard Sugino talking to Karma, who had probably gotten back while he was showering.
"Hey, do you have the stuff?" Sugino asked.
"Yes, I have the drugs,"
"Karma, you know what I mean,"
"Yeah, of course I have the stuff, don't forget what we have in common,"
Curious and nervous about the potential chaos that could happen based off of that exchange, Nagisa opened the door.
Karma had probably taken a shower while he was asleep, since he was wearing a black hoodie and a different pair of pants.
He also had two plastic bags in his hands, both with a very familiar brand on them.
"Nagisa!" Sugino said, surprised. "We, uh, got you sushi," he rubbed the back of his neck. "We weren't completely sure which one was your favorite, so we just ordered a ton since it's on Karma. I'll take whatever you don't like,"
For just a moment, Nagisa just stared at them.
He broke out into a grin. "Thanks, both of you,"
Both Sugino and Karma's ears went strangely red, and the two of them smiled as well.
"Yeah, we really are great," Karma joked. "C'mon, let's go eat. You mentioned the place we got the sushi from once or twice and it really does look good,"
The sushi really did taste good as well. Karma and Sugino had ordered a few different kinds, somehow managing to have chosen most of his favorites. But then again, his favorite did consist of almost all of the different kinds.
Over dinner, the three of them talked about Sonic Ninja. They were only about halfway through the series, according to Karma.
Sugino was trying to predict what was going to happen, and how issues would be resolved based off of the story he'd seen so far. While his theories were pretty off on what actually happened, Nagisa had to admit they would've made good storylines, and that they made sense as well.
Karma on the other hand just seemed to be enjoying trying to confuse and trick Sugino on what was actually going to happen. He was half encouraging Sugino's theory, while also pointing out how it could be wrong.
The rest of the night passed by in a happy blur. Eating, watching, talking, and eventually, Karma and Sugino drifted off to sleep. Sugino was hugging his left arm, and Karma had somehow managed to lay his head across both his and Sugino's laps.
Nagisa noticed a slip of paper with writing on it sticking out of Karma's hoodie pocket. Curious, he cautiously slid it out, and started reading
He covered his mouth, suppressing a laugh.
It was a to-do list. It had the words "operation: Nagisa has a Good December 23-24" written in Karma's fanciest cursive, with little doodles of him that Sugino must've drawn around it.
Nagisa noted how cute he looked in Sugino's doodles.
Under that, there was a list of things the two of them must've been planning for the day and the next. It included giving him presents (descriptions on where they were hidden were next to that step), a hoodie (Sugino and Karma had written each of their names, crossed the other's out, and ended up just writing "whoever gets the chance first"), buying him sushi, and talking to him about Sonic Ninja.
And at the very bottom of the paper, in Sugino's big, blocky handwriting, underlined twice, was "DO NOT TELL HIM!!! DON'T RUIN PRE-CHRISTMAS!!". Nagisa felt guilty for reading, though he wasn't completely sure why it was so important to keep it a secret. The amount of effort they had put into it made the whole thing a lot more touching, in his opinion.
Sugino's head fell on Nagisa's shoulder, breathing softly and steadily.
They've put so much effort into all of this, Nagisa thought, absentmindedly leaning his head on top of Sugino's. After all that, the least I can do is let them think I don't know how much planning they did for me.
Nagisa slipped the paper back into Karma's pocket. Karma's hand curled around his subconsciously.
Surrounded by two of his best friends, Nagisa smiled, and felt himself drift off to sleep as well.
Thank you, both of you.
Bonus headcanons since this is a mess:
Karma and Sugino both have a crush on Nagisa
they found out about their own crush from Okuda and Maehara respectively
Nakamura found out and added them into the “Nagisa Simps” group chat
the group chat plans little events or things to make Nagisa happy
they also lowkey tease each other of their crushes, take turns being jealous occasionally, yet sometimes wingman each other
the goal is Nagisa’s happiness, not their own relationships
the  "DO NOT TELL HIM!!! DON'T RUIN PRE-CHRISTMAS!!" part of the note was about confessing their crushes. they didn’t want Nagisa to have any bad memories tied to before Christmas because of them
Karma’s handwriting is either insanely fancy cursive, or complete chicken scratch
Sugino doodled Nagisa smiling on the plan as decoration

speaking of karma in the boarding school, what headcanons do you have for him in his dorm and such?
Ah, Karma. It would be predictable if I say he's rooming with Nagisa, but at the same time I sorta don't want him to leave Nagisa because I don't know what'll happen (will the school explode?). But as I explore more of Karma's possible dynamics with his other classmates, I find them hella fun to imagine. I'm going to split the boys according to their groups in the Kyoto school trip (because I feel like the groups show who's friends with who and who works well with who).
General headcanons:
- Karma can and will be tidy if he wants to, but sometimes he just dumps dirty clothes around in random places (including other people's beds)
- Pranks. Pranks everywhere. Stealing clothes, whoopee cushions, random rubber chickens, uses wasabi to threaten others, etc.
- Acts innocent when accused with pranking even though everyone knows Karma's responsible.
- *stands on the top bunk* "I'M GOING TO JUMP DOWN!!"
- Will definitely defy the dorm's rules, whether the official rules or the ones set by others
- Someone: Please don't eat in the dorm
Karma: *pulling out a bag of chips* I will take this chip and eat it and you can't stop me
- Nobody dares to touch Karma's bed/area because God knows what he put/stores there :0
- Karma: *points to someone with patterned PJs* oooooh cute pyjamas! ;)
- (By patterned I don't mean stripes or the generic stuff, I mean patterns like aliens and animals)
- For the first few nights, no one in Karma's dorm can sleep peacefully
- Karma's the kind of person who semi-regularly sneaks around after curfew (to find his friends if not in the same dorm)
- However, Karma can effectively act as leader of the dorm when needed, such as in emergency situations and assassinations
If Karma rooms with Isogai, Maehara and Kimura (Group 1):
- Isogai tries his very best to stop Karma from destroying the dorm
- Karma only listens to Isogai occasionally out of respect and admiration
- Kimura's original plan was stick to Isogai and Maehara and hope Karma won't notice him, but it fails because Karma yells "SONIC THE HEDGEHOG" at Kimura everytime he passes by
- (Kimura also feels rather self conscious in a dorm full of attractive boys)
- Occasionally, Kimura gets influenced by Karma, and he also tries to do dumb shit like jumping down from bunk beds
- (Isogai: sTOP!!)
- Karma pranks Isogai the least (because that dude has boring reactions)
- Karma always tries to steal Maehara's clothes (c'mon, doesn't Maehara like to show off his body anyways?) to Maehara's annoyance
- The other boys sometimes help Maehara, but sometimes decide to leave him alone
- (Isogai: This is what you get for being a womanizer.)
- (Kimura: Yeah, I mean Karma's a bitch.)
- This dorm would be so... overpowered. Isogai and Maehara are like the best in knifework for boys. Kimura's the fastest. Karma's scarily good at combat. Wow.
- Therefore, Karma doesn't try to piss them off too much
If Karma rooms with Chiba, Sugaya, Mimura and Okajima (Group 2):
- Okajima is the one who's most terrified of Karma. Mimura feels worried, but at first he somehow trusts that Karma won't do that much damage. Sugaya's similar to Mimura, but also pretty chill with the situation. Chiba, well, he feels dread.
- Sugaya doesn't mind the pranks too much so long it doesn't bother him (or use his art supplies)
- Mimura rather reluctantly becomes the "mom" figure of the dorm and reprimands Karma for whatever he does
- That is until Chiba snaps (because he's had enough) and sasses Karma 24/7
- Sometimes Mimura gets tired and just let Karma and Chiba battle it out
- Karma also apparently finds Chiba's reactions humorous and tries to get him to talk.
- Karma: Can I-
Chiba, without even looking up: No.
- Karma pranks Okajima the most, followed by Chiba
- Karma doesn't damage stuff that's precious to the others (eg. Okajima's camera, Sugaya's art supplies)
- However, he LOVES exposing Okajima's porn magazines and makes a big show of destroying them in different ways (by burning? Tearing them up? Rolling them into balls? Sending them to the girls?)
- (That is one of the rare times when Chiba, Sugaya and Mimura are all standing with Karma.)
- Sugaya once found random wasabi tubes in his box of poster colours. Naturally, he was confused and scared. (No damage was done to the poster colours)
- Karma + Sugaya = "let's expose Chiba's eyes" squad
- Chiba nopes away pretty quickly
- Karma is not as artsy as the others but he likes to leave random compliments
- Karma always checks Okajima's camera for any.... inappropriate photos and probably blackmails him A LOT (again, no damage was done to the camera itself)
- Of course, Karma uses the blackmail to dare Okajima to do a lot of stupid things (usually in front of an audience)
- Chiba is probably like the neatest of everyone and gets lowkey annoyed by how messy the others can be
- One second Karma can have his area all tidied up, the next second the entire dorm can descend into chaos. Chiba does not know what to do.
- Karma finds random badges with random English phrases and secretly puts them on Chiba's beanies (Chiba unexpectedly finds a few of the badges rather to his taste)
If Karma rooms with Terasaka, Yoshida, Muramatsu, Takebayashi and Itona (Group 3):
- Karma teases the HELL out of Terasaka (and his gang)
- But he enjoys pranking Terasaka the most, followed by Takebayashi
- He goes absolutely crazy, and scampers around the dorm like a feral child and switches clothes (eg. Yoshida's clothes go to Takebayashi)
- Terasaka breaks a lot of stuff in anger. Karma teases him for it.
- Takebayashi hopes to remain invisible but unfortunately, that fails
- Sometimes Takebayashi straight up leaves in the dorm with the "he has the left the group chat" energy
- Karma is the least controlled here
- Takebayashi is pretty much Done with all the mess and dirty clothes (I hc that because he's the son of doctors, he's especially hygienic)
- Muramatsu and Yoshida just chill during any Karma VS Terasaka sessions
- Terasaka: A little help here!
Yoshida and Muramatsu: *snacking on popcorn* Suddenly we can't hear
- Itona does absolutely nothing. I can imagine him sitting perfectly still, cross-legged on the top bunk, staring at whatever happens below
- Itona sometimes goes feral along with Karma. Terasaka yells about how Karma is a bad influence on Itona.
- Upon learning that Muramatsu screams like a little girl when he sees cockroaches, Karma obviously places a lot of fake cockroaches in the dorm
If Karma rooms with Nagisa and Sugino (Group 4):
- It goes exactly how it went down in canon. Karma does something stupid, Nagisa sweatdrops, Sugino pulls Nagisa aside and hisses on whether rooming with Karma is such a good idea after all
- Karma, in typical Karma fashion, makes comments on how Nagisa can sneak in the girls' dorm without anyone noticing. He also dares Nagisa to sleep in the girls' dorm for one night. Sugino quickly stops Karma before it gets out of control.
- Karma: H-
Sugino: No.
Karma: Did you mean SugiNO? ;)
Sugino: *screams in frustration*
- Sugino attempts to protect Nagisa from Karma. Somehow, it ends up with Nagisa protecting Sugino.
- Sugino, at one point: I have a baseball bat and I'm not afraid to use it!!
- Nagisa tries and fails to maintain order
- Sugino has tried to leave the dorm with Nagisa many times, but Nagisa always goes back because he knows Karma will go batshit if there's no one to control him
- Sugino does not understand Nagisa's mentality.
- However, the three warm up to each other due to Nagisa's efforts and they play card games or something

1. No specific fandom, do whatever you feel like 2. I just really like salt, you don't have to do all of them if you don't want to
It’s cool anon, I’m just pulling your leg. All in good fun!
I’ll stick to Assassination Classroom because it’d probably be too much salt if it was a fandom free-for-all.
1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?*
I see why people ship Karma with Asano – it’s the same reason people ship rival pairs, which is something I don’t get – but to me, they’re always going to be the rivals who find one another insufferable and don’t get along. It’s a personality clash as I think they’re fundamentally different people.
2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?*
Karma/Nagisa and even then, their friendship is just kind of…”meh” to me now. In the past, I would’ve called it a BroTP of mine but I’m just indifferent now. Yeah, they’re close and there was that schism/survival game arc and all – I recognize that, but I’m just tired of seeing it everywhere even when it’s actually presented as strictly friendship.
I’d rather read about the Nagisa/Sugino BroTP to be honest. Or better yet, the Karma/Sugino BroTP. Hell, give me some Sugino/Kayano friendship.
3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?
No, but that might also be because I generally only follow fandom-specific blogs. I also only follow one AC blog, so…
4. Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?*
Yes, I have a NoTP – it’s Karma/Nagisa, and yes, it’s the goddamn most popular pairing in the fandom no matter which side of the world you’re on. Just my fucking luck, right?
5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*
A pairing that I actually liked? No. A pairing I was indifferent to at first? Yes.
6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?*
Hahaha. No.
If I hated it to begin with, then I probably had a solid reason as to why, and my opinion wouldn’t change so easily.
7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?*
Not a one.
8. Have you received anon hate? What about?*
Never. That might change after this. But I did get an annoyed anon one time when I said Karma and Nakamura aren’t actually close. They were actually pretty civil though so no offense taken. I never heard back from anon but I hope they read my response!
9. Most disliked character(s)? Why?
Takaoka, probably… Yanagisawa was a scumbag but as a villain, Takaoka was more annoying as far as motives go. Like a goddamn cockroach, he just won’t go away (see: Karasuma’s 2-page manga in Grad Album Time). He also felt like a cartoon villain…but I can’t complain too much as the target demographic for AssClass definitely skewed younger.
There aren’t really any characters in the series whose guts I absolutely hated though.
10. Most disliked arc? Why?
Oh hell. The space arc right after the schism/survival game arc. Yeah, it’s AssClass we’re talking about, but I can only suspend my disbelief so much. Also, the lull in-between that arc and the final arc where nothing really happened was kind of a chore to read. It was the calm before the storm, but not much happened.
11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
The fandom doesn’t hate him as far as I know, but Sugino doesn’t get nearly as much love as anyone that isn’t a member of Utatan, Nakamura, or Asano. Is it because he’s just a regular nice guy and people think that’s boring? Because he’s super ordinary and apparently heterosexual? I guess that’s Tumblr’s least favourite combination.
I’m kidding. Don’t kill me.
12. Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
I don’t know if it’s unpopular but I enjoyed the baseball arc with Sugino. He’s just very likable to me. The themes of friendship and teamwork were recycled constantly, like in the sports festival (Isogai’s) arc and the culmination of Karma’s character development in the second semester finals, but it really began with Sugino’s baseball arc, and to me, that one really exemplified the themes best out of them all. They felt like a real rag-tag group of guys working toward a goal together.
13. Unpopular opinion about XXX character?
Karma is not a flirt and he’s not a slave to his hormones.
Stop writing him this way.
14. Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
Outside of the Ace Attorney fandom, I’ve never been in a fandom that hates on het pairings so much. I’ve seen all the common ones insulted and just trashed in general for the most inane reasons, and the Nagisa/Kayano ship has it the absolute worst, but I digress. The only het pairing people don’t seem to shit on is Chiba/Hayami – probably because they mostly only ever interact with one another. Go figure.
Also, this is a thing in every fandom, but seriously, you’ll have two characters interact, and even if it’s a completely regular conversation, people suddenly just start shipping it. It’s like people will ship any character with another character as long as they have even some kind of small connection. “These characters hate each other? Yeah, let’s ship ‘em.” “This character complimented this other character in an offhanded way but they have no other interactions? Yeah, I ship it.”
I’m not saying “stop having fun, guys,” but it’s a mentality I don’t follow.
15. Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?
Some of the villains felt a little too cartoon-y/flat for my tastes, like Takaoka, but as I said earlier, I think AssClass skewed younger despite such a focus on assassination and the entire nature of “killing” – most of the time, not literally, of course. They had basically zero redeeming qualities as opposed to antagonists like the Asanos, who were ultimately sympathetic, or even Korosensei’s apprentice.
16. If you could change anything in the manga/show, what would you change?
I’m terrible with these questions. My biggest complaint is that in a series with loads and loads of characters, most of them didn’t even get fleshed out so I really would’ve preferred there to be more alternate points of view – make it really feel like an ensemble cast because outside of maybe 2-3 characters, the rest of them only ever got one-and-done chapters. There are so many characters that I wish got more time in the spotlight, but alas.No offense to Nagisa and his fans – I like Nagisa, but especially in the second half of the story, it just felt like the scope narrowed way too much on him and/or Karma when Class E is actually supposed to be treated as a single entity where everyone feels equally important. Kind of like in the problem Karma solved for the final exam.
17. Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…
I wouldn’t have had Kayano die only to be brought back to life right after. I get that it was a parallel with Korosensei not being able to save Aguri, and now being able to save her sister Kayano. Still, the whole she’s dead lol psyche! angle went beyond cheating death; Kayano straight up died and got revived.
At the same time, in the entire series where they had a death fakeout like what we got with Lovro, if Kayano ended up being the only one killed off for real, I would’ve been upset.
So I would’ve not had that happen at all. I would’ve settled for Kayano getting hurt, or being about to get hurt when she tried to help only to have Korosensei cover for her, but not have her literally dying.
18. Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased?
Whether you ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ a pairing is down to preference.
There are plenty of pairings in other series that have strong evidence behind them and even then, there will be a handful of people from the more popular ship that twist facts to suit their narratives because they don’t like opposing pairings. They’ll even bend fiction into fact to deny actual facts. That’s being biased, but I can’t even say these people are “in denial” because a lot of those people honestly do believe they’re 100% right. Even if you throw a fact in their face, they have some kind of warped excuse ready.
19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?
Obnoxious, toxic shippers.
20. What is the purest ship in the fandom?
You’d think that on a salty ask list, the question would be what the most vile ship is, not the purest one.
Come on, guys. Karma/Okuda is obviously the purest. Sarcasm aside, I really do think Karma/Okuda is the purest. It’s very sweet and genuine. The very guarded Karma can completely drop his walls and open his heart to Okuda and in turn, she watches out for Karma and really wants what’s best for him.
Putting aside the deadly pranks they can unleash on others, Karma and Okuda’s relationship is definitely pure.
21. What are your thoughts on crack ships?
I don’t mind crack ships at all but I would prefer that there’s something logical that connects the characters involved, even if it’s a crack ship.
22. Popular character you hate?
I don’t hate any of the popular characters, but I find that I’m much more mild about Nakamura than a lot of people in this fandom. I like her, but clearly not as much as everyone else.
23. Unpopular character you love?
Sugino is one of my favourites. No love from the fandom, sadly.
He’s referred to as Nagisa’s “best friend” by official material but it seems the fandom completely buries this. He’s always written off as a goddamn third wheel to Karma and Nagisa no matter if it’s shippy or just platonic and that’s such a pet peeve of mine. Official material indicates that Nagisa/Sugino/Karma get along well as a trio, but noooo, fandom seems to have this perception that Karma and Sugino only see one other as a friend-of-a-friend (Nagisa).
I feel that they might not have been friends if not for Nagisa, but after they got to know each other, Karma and Sugino would still be good friends even if Nagisa’s not around.
24. Would you recommend XXX to a friend? Why or why not?
I’ll say yes. For a weekly Jump series, AssClass is a lot more off the wall compared to the usual stuff, but it has your standard life lessons/morals for not just kids, but anyone. Plus it’s short and sweet at ~180 chapters.
25. How would you end XXX/Would you change the ending of XXX?
I wouldn’t change the ending. Korosensei had to die or else it would cheapen the meaning of the story.
26. Most shippable character?
The fandom would say it’s Karma, but I will say it’s someone with a welcoming and adaptable personality like Sugino. Isogai works too.
27. Least shippable character?
Outside of actual villains, probably Asano. This isn’t meant as an insult, but it’s hard to find a match for him because of his personality.
I didn’t have great answers, but I tried, lol.

ghost headcanons
i like ghosts now, not sure why, but they seem nice and i wanna make some nice headcanons for once. maybe. some of them are nice. i should also probably explain how this world works too, shouldn’t i?
almost all kids/young teenagers (1-13 years old) can see ghosts
a lot of them eventually lose their ability when they are around 9 years old
you might not lose the ability to see ghosts, but that is pretty rare
since most people who see ghosts are kids, they’re brushed off a “imaginary friends”
since the cover story is ghosts being imaginary friends, basically everyone starts keeping their ability to see ghosts a secret after they turn 10 to not seem childish
time for the actual headcanons now!
Nagisa as a ghost helps people study and do their homework!
explains how things work and stuff, gives good advice too
i can see him going to a bunch of small kids and becoming their “imaginary friend” who helps them study and comforts them
parents who can’t see ghosts are both grateful and confused
Hara likes to go to daycares or preschools and help take care of the small children (telling them stories, ect)
she will also go to little kids who have less than good homelives and be their friend, comforting them, taking care of them, teaching them to be good, that kinda stuff
teaches kinda older kids (8-10 year olds) how to cook or bake if they wanna learn
Kurahashi likes to point out bugs to little kids and teach them to help bugs out (putting them on leaves and stuff)
Maehara is a very friendly ghost and makes a lot of friends who are alive
he teaches those friends bad pickup lines
his friend: hey, you must be very good at sneaking around, because you stole my heart
Maehara: good job kid! that was perfec-
their crush who likes them back: oh, sorry, i must’ve accidentally taken it when i tripped and fell for you
Maehara: wow, that was smooth- omg kid you just got yourself a requited crush
he got frustrated because there were these two oblivious pining idiots so he possessed one, confessed so outrageously cheesily, and let them do their thing
Isogai was pretty annoyed because possessing someone without their consent is wrong, Maehara
this does not stop Maehara from occasionally possessing someone so they will catch a ball flying their way, interact with a cool guy properly, or during nervewracking presentations to help them out
if they can see him, he does usually apologize for not asking for permission first
to be fair, Isogai, Mimura, and Kataoka will also possess people with the Spirit of Leadership just to help them out
Fuwa and Takebayashi met each other as ghosts in an anime/manga convention
they work together to keep a running commentary of whatever is happening
if you can hear them, then it’s actually pretty funny seeing them
Fuwa, narrating: “it’ll be fine,” she said, as she very cleverly didn’t study for her test
Takebayashi, narrating with her: it was not fine
Sugino is a really good ghost to meet
he can be your ghost best friend :D
won’t hesitate to tell you if someone (even you) is being toxic
he’s a pretty sweet ghost to be honest
also can be pretty chaotic if he wants to be
Kayano is sweet pudding girl to most of the people she meets as a ghost, but while she is on friendly terms with them, she isn’t really close to a lot of them
but she knows a few people that are like her
there’s Chiharu, a twelve year old girl she had once been friends with when she was Haruna Mase. her eyes are no longer wide with wonder, and her smile isn’t sweet and innocent and pure because now she knows how cruel the world can be, how much pressure is on her public image, and the realization that she can’t go unnoticed has kicked in
there are a pair of siblings, and the younger one, Shouko, reminds her so much of Akari and Aguri, because they have so little time together, but they have such a close friendship it hurts
there’s Keisuke, who smiles and smiles and acts sweet and hides that it isn’t really him, just like what she had done when she was Kaede Kayano
and it hurts seeing them be so much like her, seeing people who are like the people she has been
and now that she’s a ghost, she does all she can to try and keep them from making the mistakes she made
helping Chiharu go out in public without being recognized, doing whatever she can to help Shouko and her sibling, listening and befriending the real Keisuke
she wants them to be better than she was, to be happier, to live the lives she could have if she hadn’t made her mistakes
that... was very serious
im sorry i just really wanted to see Kayano helping out some people who reminded her of herself
alright then, moving on! (though i might make one of those bulletpoint thingies for the Kayano idea)
Karma and Nakamura will do the most ridiculous things they can in case someone can see them!
they will repeat the teacher’s words mockingly, climb onto tables and scream into oblivion, quote as many memes as they can, very loudly and very badly (both of those are on purpose) sing random songs together, anything they think will get a reaction
they will not hesitate to scream the right answers during a test if they know someone can hear them
They both enjoy playing pranks on people as ghosts!
Nakamura has a lot of friends, and is ride-or-die with a lot of them!
Karma has basically no friends, but he does gain an army of stray cats
okay that’s a lie
there was a black cat and Karma got attached and basically became that cat’s loyal servant
and then that cat lead to like 5 more cats
he loves all of them
the cats lowkey love him but also boss him around
he might be dead and but he follows all of their orders
he really wants to pet them though
like i said, he is a ghost
he physically cannot pet them alone
he is ridiculously awkward and sucks at making friends but he managed to talk to some guy called Akihiro who let him possess him to pet the cats
...they ended up becoming friends
somehow
Akihiro also may or may not have ended up giving all the cats a home
in his house
he also got Karma as his new ghost roomate
yay?
Hazama enjoys scaring people as a ghost
she possess doors just to slam em, possess windows to rattle them, hides and screeches or whispers creepy things
she really just wants to scare people
she’s become like a good luck charm to every haunted house she haunts
i think that might be enough for now
goodbye, i hope you liked these!
if you have more, please say so!
