marking you up is yujin’s favorite pastime 😭 yes, she leaves a lot but she can also be surprisingly discreet with them? shocker, right?! listen, yujin may be an idiot but she’s not stupid! 😤 she wouldn’t let people see that spectacle for free 😉 she favours your chest and stomach, making sure to leave her marks there since she finds it so hot to look at you while you happen to raise your shirt and there they were.. 😵‍💫 once in a while you’d find some strays underneath your jawline since that was yujin’s favorite place to kiss you (other than your lips of course!) but other than that, you’ll find most of yujin’s marks on your boobs heart! 🥺 and now we all know she would absolutely love you leaving hickeys on her neck i mean come on now! only the prettiest sounds leaves yujin’s lips when you’re kissing her neck, encouraging you to mark her up and let people know that ahn yujin was yours 😋 she would absolutely show off too! wearing something that would make her members see all the marks on her neck so she could boast and be annoying about it while you’re covering your face from embarrassment 😭

rei is cool and chill about it all 😼 there'll be two or three hickeys on your neck by the time she's done with you bcs truthfully? her lips would be too busy kissing yours 😵‍💫 rei's so the type to be able to make out for hours just bcs she's addicted to the taste of your lips,, spending such a long time making your head dizzy bcs SHE'S SUCH A GOOD KISSER??? ehe rei especially loooves making out while her fingers are deep inside you,, hearing your muffled moans while her tongue explores every crevice of your mouth just gets her wet! once in a while, she'd kiss down to your neck and leave a few hickeys.. maybe even bites 👀 as for receiving rei would absolutely love to just be full of hickeys from you?? but she'd get shy about it yk? liking the sight of her the marks blooming on her neck the morning after but playfully whining and complaining since you'd tease her for 'getting too lost' and allowing you to do all that 🤭

now… wonyoung will never be able to shake off this need to have her lips on your skin. you thought yujin was bad?? wonyoung is even worse! 😭 behind closed doors, she is always glued to you 🥺 naturally this would lead to a lot of teasing, touching, and the most exciting of all… kissing! how could wonyoung even resist? especially when you wear those off-shoulder tops that you know she loves so much.. you’d be sorting your closet out when you suddenly feel ur cute girlfriend coming up behind you.. and it’s innocent for a few minutes until she’s feeling you up and planting wet kisses from your shoulder to your neck.. the moment a sound escapes your lips, she’s putting you on top of the nearest surface and biting and sucking on your skin 😵‍💫 and she loves staring at her work afterwards! you just look so pretty.. it’s easy to get her core buzzing just from the sight of you after she’s messed you up 🥴🥴 BUT as much as she loves all of that, wony definitely likes getting marked up by you more 🤫 part of it is bcs of all the sweet things you whisper against her skin when you’re kissing her.. how she’s yours, how much you love her, and (when you’re feeling extra possessive 😳) how she belongs to you.. wony proudly looks at the hickeys through the mirror afterwards and sometimes even plays w herself w the image of you in her mind…

sweet little liz gets so shy when it comes to these things 🥺🥺 baby could barely attempt to kiss you without exploding (almost literally 😭 we’ve all seen how red her face can get right? 😭😭) but sometimes she’s heated enough to be bold! 😋 the two of you would be cuddling, she’d have an arm draped around your waist then you’d suddenly feel her hand slide underneath your shirt and caress your skin… see, liz does that a lot! so much so that you’re used to it but what you’re not used to is suddenly feeling her kiss and suck at your neck.. no shit it feels good and adding on to the fact that it caught you by surprise, a single whimper would have liz straddling you and desperately kissing you all over 🥺 might actually be the one who leaves the worst hickeys among all of the girls? 😭 she gets swept up by her needs so she’s careless with the way she kisses you.. and so your neck becomes liz’s personal artwork 🤭 she definitely apologizes the next morning while you’re laughing at her but you both know that it’s such a huge turn on for both of you 😳 and i just know she’d be the cutest when you’re the one kissing her 😵‍💫 she squeals, moans, whimpers, and quietly asks for more… you wouldn’t expect it from her at all but liz definitely loooves being made a mess of 🤭 (that just gives me a few ideas-)

Kung lao

This boy deserves so much love so if you give it to him he'll go above and beyond for you. Seriously all you have to do is give him a little kiss and suddenly he feels he can take on all the realms, you give him strength and honestly that's all that matters. He's not afraid to show off his affection to you, a bit unorthodox for a monk but then again, mortal kombat is no place for any other kind of monk than liu kang and kung lao. So he literally is the exception. Not that anything would ever stop him from declaring how proud he is to be yours.

Kung lao likes giving gifts but frets over it more than he should, its something he wants to be "perfect" something that exactly shows how much he loves you. He settles on simple, thoughtful gifts. Expect something handmade, he likes to actually make little wooden figures so expect a small little carving of your favorite animal (no he doesn't use his hat to carve them. Although he'd probably try if you asked him to)

Kung lao would die for you, much to your and his allies screaming "PLEASE DON'T" but don't be too alarmed because he is a shaolin warrior who won't go down easy. Even if you can perfectly defend yourself, kung lao would still fight for you regardless.

Jax

THIS MAN DESERVES LOVE AND PEACE AND HAPPINESS you are quite literally the light of his life and jax will make sure you know it. Everyone else be damned, he is a loyal husband material guy. 100% to settle down with you

Very simple, sweet "klassic" gifts like flowers and chocolates and those funny little dog cards with the hearts and everything. But ultimately he's more of an "acts of service" guy, jax would rather just do things for you to show he loves you. Especially massages, he's really good at giving massages (he also likes receiving too so don't forget~)

Don't mess with jax's sweetheart like seriously, anything bad happens to you there will be hell to pay. And jax will personally get a few extra punches in the sorry person's face just for you. But ultimately he just wants you to be safe and happy

Kitana

In public, kitana is a bit more reserved to keep up appearances but she certainly won't deny you a kiss on the hand. In private she's much more verbal and expect a lot more kisses too.

Why you're with baraka no one knows. But baraka takes the relationship seriously, there is definitely going to be some "culture shock" but if you are going to win Baraka's heart, you definitely have to be interested in his culture. Which is brutal but not always so surprisingly, as with anything, they're not total savages to the point like others describe tarkatans. So having an open mind to understand that they are a violent meat eating people they also are nomadic and have a very close bond with each other

Expect meat to be the main gift you're getting, raw or otherwise. Although baraka isn't much of the gift giving type, he actually likes talking with you more than anything. But as for the nicest gift you'll get? A flute made out of the bones of your (or his) enemy.

Baraka expects you to defend yourself but he won't stand for anyone hurting you. No one expected baraka to be so vicious for someone else, but that is their last mistake.

Kintaro

Kintaro is mostly the same as goro in terms of showing affection, the only difference being he is much more "possessive" and prone to jealousy than goro. He's going to have a certain "aggression" to his affections

Don't expect any gifts that isn't the heads of your or his enemies. He mostly a physical kind of affectionate guy anyways. Although his one weakness is chin scratches, do what you will with that information.

Whoever is dumb enough to piss off kintaro by hurting their lover is going to have 0 limbs attached to their body, that is if they don't get burnt to a crisp and smashed to a gooey paste first

Shao kahn

You must have done something right (or wrong) to earn shao Kahn's love. But you're definitely going to get shown off by shao kahn just like he shows off his literally everything else. He loves to brag and especially about his lover

You literally can have anything you want, say the words and its yours by any means necessary. Although shao kahn expects a little something in return, what that is depends on his mood. Even to his lover, he's gotta have something too. Even if you don't ask for anything, you're getting something. Whether that be jewelry, clothes, treasures of all kinds, rare exotic meals. Basically anything he conquers, you're getting the good stuff (providing of course there's enough for him too)

No one is going to dare hurt you or use you against him. Shao Kahn is sure to make anyone suffer a fate worse than death for such an insult. Anything bad happening to you is very personal. Although even if you're minorly upset at something, shao kahn has no qualms to just killing whoever made you upset right off the bat. So maybe you'll have to be careful if you don't want that absolutely unnecessary and dramatic gore fest

I just thought of something, do you think, if Earth was left alone for long enough, a new dominant species would replace Humanity? Just to start the whole cycle over again? Cuz, ya know, life finds a way. And if that did happen, how would the main characters react?

Also I'm currently working on more Fallen Gabe art because I absolutely love him- Certified Gabriel Simp now ☠️

if there's any life left on earth, then there's definitely a capacity for something else to develop (although i guess that would be dependent on how much god is necessary for that sort of thing in this universe) - though honestly, even if life was entirely wiped out, earth loves bouncing back with new little guys!! i like to think the surface has at least regrown with plants, hardy types that made it through the climate collapse, the war, and what was likely the machines scorching the earth. i think new animals would take a long, long time to show up, let alone a new intelligent species like humans, but i do think there would be some interesting reactions to the possibility.

v1 would react how you'd think - it doesn't indulge in sentimentality outside of gabriel and by then it's old, its actual time on the surface a distant memory it barely ever sees the need to dust off. so any new developments there are treated the same as it treats any novelty, although, to be fair, earth is its main source of new experiences with hell likely explored in its entirety after all that time. so the world is like its giant ant farm, a place it goes to observe and to satiate its curious appetite with its slow but constant changes. and a new intelligence developing would be!!! premium content!!! its mind would explode with possibilities and it would be desperate to mess with things, though gabriel would likely convince it that letting things run their course would be more interesting in the long run (since v1 messing with things tends to be....destructive by nature) it still does just a bit though. gabriel (and v2) try to mitigate the damage lol

gabriel is...much more reflective on the situation. he begins to wonder what it means, to have life developing without god and even a new intelligence coming after humanity. even after falling, after all this time, this brings up new questions about nature itself - maybe this is still the result of what god put in motion, maybe this is what nature is without him...maybe somewhere out there, a new god has come with his own designs and they are fully a relic of the past, the remnants of a dead dynasty. he really believed himself to be beyond worrying about things like this, but maybe it's just inherent to his nature. regardless, he has a strict policy to not touch anything they might do, partly because his time of meddling at the very least has past, but also because honestly...he's not sure he would want to find out the answer to his questions.

i think if there are any souls left in hell, and if they could know what happened, there would varying opinions on the matter. some may be more ambivalent, such as the ferryman, as they feel the earth is no longer theirs to concern themselves with, whereas someone like minos would fully celebrate the resilience of life - maybe this time they can prosper (hopefully) free of a god. humanity never got that chance...but maybe this new life can carve their own path without the chains that weighed down their predecessors. heaven, by that point, is entirely closed off from any other part of creation and would likely remain ignorant (although i have considered the idea of odd little creatures popping up there too, far off in the cities that fell into ruin after god died...so they may dealing with their own new angel species lol) if v2 is still around, it becomes more existential than v1 - if they continue to develop in intelligence, will the same patterns develop too? will they make the same mistakes as humans did over and over, will they make machines too one day and what will they be like compared to something like itself? it would also demand v1 not touch them, approaching them with a scientific interest (maintaining detachment in case it started to feel something for these new little animals)

King Charles has always had the “inclination & strength” to deal with Meghan. Charles survived one of the biggest pr battles of the late 20th century, aka The War of the Waleses. The Sussex Mess pales in comparison.

Rumor has it that King Charles told Harry & Meghan--when they were in the UK for QEII’s funeral events--to “get on with it,” regarding releasing their “dirt” on the BRF.

Meghan, the Patron Saint of Victimhood, Vindictiveness, and Short-Sightedness, thinks KCIII’s words were an empty threat. Harry, on the other hand, realizes that his father drew “a line in the sand,” and if he crosses it, he will be fucking screwed for the rest of his life.

Harry knows that if he crosses that line in the sand, his father will revoke his title & style and be excluded from the BRF...FOREVER. Rumor also has it that Harry was told by his father that Meghan will never again receive “help or acceptance” from the BRF, but if Harry comes back to the UK without her, his family will help payback these book advances and sort out his financial & (possible) legal troubles with Netflix.

When I studied Meghan’s annual charts for the year (Aug 2022 to Aug 2023), I noticed that the ascendant degree of her solar return (Varshaphal) chart was the last degree/gandanta of Scorpio, which is just the worst. It’s associated with drowning, whether that is literal or metaphorical. I suspect she’s metaphorically drowning amongst all her self-created problems, which will include her eventual & inevitable divorce to Harry. Which is coming to us soon. Very soon.

I would also add that it looks like she’s going to get a significant amount of money. Now whether or not that is from previous contracts, such as Spotify, or from the divorce or both, I’m not entirely sure. She certainly is destined for sudden changes this year. Also likely paranoia and anger. If she lashes out in an unhinged, animal-like way, I won’t be surprised. Probably more issues related to staff--former and/or current. She’s probably going to be desperate, acquire a tainted reputation, and be wanting for money; although, that last one is every year.

That said, I suspect there is going to be a custody battle for the kids, and that is the angle where Meghan probably will be able to extract money from the BRF. I think under normal circumstances, Meghan wouldn’t get much money from the BRF for divorcing Harry. She’d certainly get less than Fergie.

But California favors joint/shared custody between both parents. I think some people speculate that the BRF would have an automatic right to the kids due to them being grandchildren of the monarch. In the UK, sure. In the US of A, highly doubtful. It basically amounts to fantasyland thinking. No California judge is going to go for that. In case some people forgot, the USA is a separate sovereign nation from the UK, and Harry’s kids are also constitutionally irrelevant in the UK, as they are so far down the line of succession. Expecting Harry & the BRF to automatically get full custody of the kids is not going to be the cakewalk that people think it is. Harry may get joint legal custody of the kids, but Meghan may win physical custody. She still may end up being the primary custodial parent, even though she’s a terrible parent. If Meghan does win primary physical custody, a California court can order Harry to pay financial support to Meghan. I would not be surprised if that happens at this point.

Regardless, looks like we’re going to get the celebrity divorce fireworks that we deserve. Tom & Gisele wish their divorce could be as exciting.

So @awigglycultist has been running a StarCanWrecked sexyman poll (and they’re doing great at it, you should go vote in the polls if you haven’t yet but maybe read this first). But looking at the way that things have shaken up, it does not seem like some of you know what a tumblr sexyman is. That or you’re just voting based on who you like most, but I can’t do anything for that, so we will pretend that the votes have just happened the way they have bcs people don’t know what a sexyman is

So let’s talk about it

A tumblr sexyman is traditionally defined as a highly popular (pretty much exclusively male) character in tumblr communities. This often means they are popular to the point of recognition beyond the fandom they originated from, but we’re going to ignore that bit since this is for starcanwrecked stuff specifically. Some sexymen you may recognize are Bill Cipher, Nagito Komaeda, Wheatley from Portal, Sans Undertale, the Onceler, Purple Guy, and Loki

But there are common traits to a sexyman. Let’s walk through them

Sexymen are often morally gray to evil. The closest to a heroic sexyman there have been to my knowledge is Sans and Reigen. idk anything about Mob Psycho, but with Sans, he still falls within the label bcs he is a potential antagonist

Regardless of specific morality, they have a trickster type role. They mess with others, often using their knowledge and power that others don’t have for that purpose. An aura of mystery is also acceptable, but the trickster archetype is much more likely to gain popularity as a sexyman

They are often not human. I saw someone arguing against Ezekiel bcs he isn’t a human, but tbh that should have been a point in his favor. Characters like Bill Cipher and Wheatley are visibly nonhuman, and people would go nuts making humanized versions of them. It was part of the whole community there

They are well dressed. They’re often dresses in suits and bowties are preferred. With the last point about them giving human versions, they almost always are humanized as wearing a suit and tie

Now this is the part people don’t like the be reminded of. But part of the reason the tumblr sexyman term exists is addressing how fandoms have a tendency to favor tall, white, skinny, men over any other type of character. There are some exceptions to this, like Komaeda, but people are quick to forget lightskinned anime characters are Asian. The nonhuman ones are always humanized as skinny white guys. When Alex Hirsch joked human!Bill would be big and triangle shaped, people lost their minds bcs he wouldn’t be skinny. You know why GLaDOS was never given the sexyman treatment the way Wheatley was? She’s a woman. You know why Dr. Facilier never rose to that status despite fitting every other trait I’ve mentioned? He’s a Black man, and fandom racism always wins out. It’s not impossible for someone that isn’t a skinny white guy to be a sexyman, but it sure is rare

Anyway, that’s about the gist of it. The conclusion here is that Ezekiel, Wiley, or one of the Lords in Black should probably win this just based on the traditional tumblr sexyman recipe. But hopefully this brief tumblr history lesson will help people make more informed votes

Chapter 1- Part 1

By the way- since Tumblr has a limit on how many images someone can put on a single post, I’ll need to be splitting these updates into multiple parts. No worries, though- I’ll make sure to keep all posts corresponding to specific chapters linked up with each other.

So now, let’s boot up the game! If you wanna download it yourself and give it a try, you can find the download on the official website.

I gotta say, just looking at this title screen with my own eyes is getting me excited already. Starting a new game always does that for me- a fresh new experience, new adventure!

Also can I just say this title screen music goes so hecking hard, like this is a jam, holy crud-

Okay enough waiting around, let’s actually get this started...

And by that I mean mess around with the control scheme for a moment-

Would it have been easier to just leave the controls at their default? Maybe, but I just prefer using WASD to move around, yell at me in the notes for my setup if it satisfies you.

Ah, and here we are at our character selection! I like the ticket styling here, and from the first look the sprites look good. Though- is that the Gen 3 style of spritework? All tiny like that? I probably shoulda expected that when they said it was “Emerald-styled”, actually-

It also doesn’t look like any of them have a set gender at default, I think? It seems like it’s just split between “black hair, blondie, or white anime hair (affectionate)”- either way, everyone here looks GNC has heck and I love that for all of them.

Still, none of these really match what I really look like, so…I’ll go with the white-haired one at the end, just to see what happens when I pick them-

Ah, you can pick your gender regardless of which avatar you choose! Neat! I’m gonna look edgy and no one can stop me-

Also, as you can see, my character’s name for this playthrough will be “X”- that’s the name I typically choose for myself when naming characters in games like this, and Reborn will be no different.

Also, you guys can’t hear this because it’s just images, but like- I think this ticketmaster is doing all of this on a typewriter?? Because when all that other stuff (ARR, Seat Number, etc.) was being inputted, the audio was typewriter sounds?? I thought the ticket UI was just for the aesthetic, but- is this station actually that old???

You know, I’m a little curious about that myself- why are we going to Reborn City? Is the player character gonna have a backstory of some sort? The regular Pokémon protagonists have backstories, even if it’s usually as simple as “you’ve lived in this town your whole life, you turn a certain age, now take this starter and go forth and fight Trainers to become the very best”, but it’s there still.

What’s this character’s motivation? Is that something I’ll have to come up with for myself? Audience surrogate taken to the max? Because I can do that, I can work with that-

Ambition- is that our true motivation? Or is that merely the perception of the ancient ticketmaster? Questions to be answered later, I'm sure.

AW YEAH, TRAIN SOUNDS (and the background is doing a moving effect too, but again you can’t see it through the screenshot, alas)

Oh honey we viewed them quite closely not too long ago, I think we’re good-

Nice animation with the train we got going here, interesting to see that multi-colored emblem from the title screen on it…again, implications to be answered later.

Oh? Those are the other avatar characters we could have picked. Are they going to be NPCs or something? You know, like in Gen III with Brendan/May or Gen IV with Lucas/Dawn or Legends Arceus with Rei/Akari?

Also, this BGM for being on the train here slaps, the music is pretty good so far.

Ah, a recruiter- so the others are more Trainers, like us. Again- are they going to be NPCs since they aren’t the player character? They must have canon names or something, but there’s definitely a lot of them- eh, we’ll just have to see.

Tokyo Revengers Died:

Aka a collection of disjointed thoughts and ramblings about the latest chapters of TR and how they've been... Not... Good...

⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️ Up to Ch.271. also this is very negative.

I don't even know where to begin with this.

I loved Tokyo Revengers so much. I was entranced. I hailed it as one of the best modern manga I'd read.

The Bloody Halloween Arc in particular was a standout. The emotions, the action, the suspense was all so palpable and it resolved in such a satisfying and yet devastating way. I won't hesitate in saying that Baji was the highlight of the series.

Sure, the anime was weak, but that didn't matter. The manga was g o o d.

And honestly? By the time of Pah-chin's wedding every bone in my body felt and believed that this should be the end of the manga. At that point I'd already known that it wasn't the last arc, and yet I could not help the growing feeling that it absolutely should be. The only unresolved plot-point - the implication of a second time leaper - had been dropped so suddenly and baselessly that it may as well had never happened in my eyes. As far as I was concerned, that was the weakest point in the manga, anyway, so if Pah-chin's wedding had been the last scene, if Mikey had just shown up and all been well, I'd be satisfied leaving that plotline unresolved. Who knows, maybe it'd even be a fun open-door mystery.

As it stands, though... Ugh...

In theory the idea of Takemitchy now having to save Mikey rather than Hina isn't ... A bad one. It works.

Mikey at this point was definitely flawed, but highly sympathetic. We were all rooting for him.

Well, to an abelist stereotype, quite frankly?

He's MENTALLY ILL and that makes him a MONSTER he had DARK IMPULSES or a SECOND PERSONALITY OR SOME SHIT OOOOO

And what's worse this isn't a result of the death of his brother as was assumed before no no no !!! He's been like this since he was a child ! He was BORN A KILLER !!!! He's DANGEROUS !!

Ugh. The trope of mentally ill/traumatized characters being evil and having a dark side that will kill and maim everyone in sight is... Not only gross, but also, from a writing standpoint completely completely lacking in nuance. Which is almost insulting considering how /well/ TR seemed to be handling it, previously.

So now that Mikey is this weird warped parody of himself but Now He's Joker™, he's also become entirely unsympathetic.

Far gone is the little boy who was scared and messed up, but did his best to protect the people around him. Far gone is his sense of humor and care and companionship. Which in theory sounds good, but in practice... What reason do we have left to root for him? What reason do we have left to care about this empty husk of death threats and violence, with absolutely no heart or depth of character behind him?

This isn't Mikey. It just isn't.

(and none of this seems to be in response to Draken's death, either - there wasn't even any significant scene reflecting his reaction to Draken's death. In fact I struggle to remember if he even KNOWS he died. He and Draken hadn't been interacting for a while at that point. It's literally implied on some level that this is just how Mikey is now, regardless of Draken.)

And how is Takemitchy meant to "save him" exactly?

The only two ways this story can end is if

A. Takemitchy doesn't manage to save Mikey, which is predictable at this point, and would be wholly unsatisfying because it meant he risked and KILLED MULTIPLE PEOPLE for the sake of someone who he didn't save anyway.

B. Takemitchy pulls some magic of friendship bullshit out of his ass and suddenly Mikey is Good Again except the fact that he lost everyone but It's Fine See He Laughed He's Healed.

Which is... So stupid, and contrived, and not how mental health works.

The manga has written itself into a corner, and there's no way it can conclude that would feel right anymore.

And it almost feels as though it knows that. As though Ken Wakui has realized what a shithole he's gotten himself into and is desperately trying to pull himself back up /somehow/.

What the hell are these predictions Takemitchy gets?

Why does Sanzu carry all this importance?

How does it make any sense for Shinichiro to have been a time leaper, when the only reason we know there was a second time leaper at all was Kisaki, who never even MET Shinichiro?

Why did Shinichiro even become a timeleaper by killing a timeleaper, when nothing like that happened to Kazutora when he killed Shin?

Hell why is Takemitchy a timeleaper when he never killed anyone ?? Why do his timeleaping powers (activated via handshake) seem to work totally differently from Shin's (activated via??? Suicide? Near death situations??? But not when Kazutora kills him????)

None of the new plotlines make any sense and none of them feel even remotely like they were set up in any way.

Don't even get me STARTED on the whole paraplegic Mikey thing. I don't even have words to get into how fucking stupid it is - it makes no sense, comes out of nowhere, goes nowhere, it's literally Just Shock Value in a vain attempt to let us regain some semblance of pity for Mikey.

Hell, let's zoom out for a sec...

Who are all these people?

Seriously.

Half the cast now are characters that showed up out of nowhere, and maybe like 3 of them have any sort of backstory, and 2 any sort of depth.

The characters we've spent time setting up and getting to know have gotten pushed so far into the background they may well not even exist, and they're instead replaced by these generic Gangster Types all with two personality traits a pop if you're lucky?

Where's Hina? Where's Naoto? Where are Akkun and the gang? Where's Peh-yan? Where's Kazutora? What happened to Hakkai, Chifuyu, the Kawata twins, the Haitani twins, hell even Taiju showed up just to do absolutely fuck all?

The only ones who we know and love and got any sort of attention lately are:

- Pah-chin, who got two seconds of glory.

- Mitsuya, who got a fairly touching moment (and was much more affected by Draken's death by his literal best friend and MAIN CHARACTER Mikey was), and has now been shafted to the background again

- Koko and Inui, who actually got a nice storyline, thank god.

Look I'm sorry, I know people like Sanzu and Wakasa, but besides that does anyone actually care about anyone else here? Shion? South? Takeomi? Their characters are so lackluster I struggle to put a face to any of their names, and frankly I literally can't remember a single new character introduced because they're just that fucking boring.

I don't even wanna talk about Senju.

There was so much potential there but now SHE'S just gone as well and what development we did get from her was so lackluster it failed to leave any impression on me.

And through all of this Takemitchy's devotion to this, to Mikey, has grown from concern for his friend to downright an unhealthy obsession. He's fucking insane, it's like he doesn't give a shit who lives or dies as long as he can accomplish his goal.

He doesn't give a shit about Hina, Chifuyu, Pah-chin, Toman, Naoto, himself, Draken or anything else, and frankly it no longer seems like he actually cares about Mikey either. This isn't even about him anymore is about doing

Something.

As discussed, there's nothing he can actually do to accomplish his goal, anyway.

It's just. Futile.

And this entire manga, very much so, feels futile right now.

Which, considering just the sheer amount of potential this manga had, the heights it did reach, is just so... goddamn disappointing.

Split Necklace 1/30/24

I don't have much to actually talk about, I haven't been working on Split Necklace for a while. At this point I may restart my "design doc," well it's just a paper tablet, but something is bugging me when rereading it. Not really sure what so I may redo it, character names will be the same, but the story outline may be radically different. It's still gonna be SAW but anime, which is still ironic because while I maybe 25 I still have a fear of that puppet from that series. I think I'm gonna rework the character design. Only to make everyone, but Ken, stand out a little more. The reason why I singled Ken out is because I want to attempt the Silent Hill 1 thing they did with Harry. A neutral looking man so the player can fully immerse themselves in. Due to my fear of it, I don't know much about SAW but I would imagine due to some of the stuff victims had to go through, stuff like getting a key on a pendulum before getting slashed by a saw blade, being super glued to a car going high speed, and something called a reverse bear trap, things would be very tense to go through yourself. Before you ask I have friends who are fans of SAW and while it's not completely accurate I got board and decided to look up the plot summaries on Chat GPT. They're kind of stupid, but the basic premise of how badly do you want to live is a neat idea which is why I'm still working on this to some extent, but I'm trying to write outlines for other projects.

Said projects are two comics, one is a Super Sentai fan comic I had in mind since high school called V-Ranger. I have the cast, their respected colors, and the villain I just need to write an outline. The other is called My Foreign Boyfriend, about a Japanese woman being in a relationship with an American that moved to Japan. Currently writing that outline, while coming up with chapter ideas. I know exactly how I want it to begin and end just need to fill in the gaps.

To focus on the topic of this post, I'm still gonna keep the Legends of the Hidden Temple names for the chapters. As to why, the biggest reason is because I honestly love that show and the Jester's Court was the 1st thing to come to mind. Not sure why it did, it just happened. As to the other reason, it's kind of like how the crew who made Regular Show did their episodes. From my understanding they had the episode title 1st then just came up with ideas for it that episodes. So looking at all 4 seasons I think I can come up with something good. Thinking about it now, I want the Jester's Court to be the 1st level so I think it's just gonna be one body part to collect. Keep things simple, but right now the biggest thing that I want to work on is the story itself. That's a big focus of it, not to the extent that the gameplay will be trash. Trying to make it survival horror game, there will be an HP meter. Both a bar in the pause screen, and visually. A kin to how Haunting Ground and Resident Evil Revelations displayed HP. Making the screen a bit of a visual mess, but at the moment I will most likely get someone who knows Javascript to get some codes made for things, but at the moment it's unnecessary.

I do apologize for lack of updates, and screen shots in this update. This is low priority for me, and if y'all lost interest I understand. However once I figured out somethings about how I want to proceed development will continue! Hopefully the real world won't get in the way... but that maybe out of my hands, because life sucks. Regardless thanks for reading this update!

“megazardx2: Truth, honestly. I was in the fence about it, but BDSP proved to me that the design philosophy behind Pokémon games really has changed for the worse. Not that I hadn’t known that for a while, but getting a blatant product, a game with such little artistry or innovation that it makes LGPE look like a masterpiece in comparison (like, even that one at least redesigned the characters) was my last straw.

I used to go around defending Pokémon online and calling for the fandom to be more positive, but I’ve quit, because 1) the fandom is unfixable garbage, and 2) Pokémon isn’t worth going to bat for like that. It can still produce great products with tons of artistry when it wants too, but it’s clear that’s not the primary concern.

Pokémon is the fast food of the media world; the reason it’s held up and will continue to hold up is because every generation brings a batch of new and interesting creatures with cool designs, powers and personalities. The Pokémon (as well as the world of Pokémon itself and the human characters, as shown by Masters) are what give this franchise its worth, and the mainline games/anime are primarily made to market them. Artistry isn’t the main focus.”

That’s basically my issue, yeah. Is there still good within the games? Sure. But less than there was before, because Pokemon has reached that level of success where you don’t need to care as much anymore, people will buy your stuff regardless. And you can challenge that and refuse to engage anymore, or you can just accept this is where it’s at and make peace with it. But I do, legitimately believe that things have dropped.

When you hear about the challenges that Gen 2 faced, it’s stuff like “Upper management really wanted the Kanto segment in the game,” and that didn’t seem feasible. But management also put in the direct hours to help with coding and solve their problems and get that goal met. It may have come at the cost of dedicated time to better balance wild encounter levels and your challenges along the way so it didn’t feel like a grind-heavy mess so frequently, but they had a goal in mind that was still focused on a gameplay experience, and for a lot of people it landed well. The concept of going through Kanto again, retracing your old steps and ending on a big showdown with your previous game’s protagonist that you played as, worked well and left a lasting impression. Management goals may not be perfect, and may cause problems, but it was still centered on ideas to make the experience positive.

Nowadays, it’s decisions like “Break the mechanics so people can feel like they’re throwing a Pokeball that defies physics,” or “Make a faithful remake that does nothing interesting.” A lot of their decisions don’t align all that well to what the final product is. They have these grand ideas that ultimately aren’t positive for the product. They’re out of touch. Maybe they’re getting back in touch. Legends was really good, and maybe Scarlet and Violet, if it follows Legends’ lead, can be really good too. But there’s so much in the last ten years that feels like chasing bad ideas that I’m honestly concerned. Even with all the pre-release stuff looking fairly positive, I can’t shake the nerves.

And it is to a degree that fans will not be able to be sated. I think that’s just a natural result of having fans across such a wide age range. Older fans remember what the experience used to be and want back something that won’t return, while newer players are seeking something more comparable to what’s popular now. It’s hard to join those two demands together. It’s the same kind of thing that happened to Zelda. People loved OoT, and every game for like 15 years was given shit for not being like OoT, while the ones that did try to be OoT again got shit from more modern fans for not continuing to be like Wind Waker. You literally cannot win, because there will always be some segment of the fanbase that doesn’t love what you’re doing. And if Zelda’s a good example to work with, the solution seems to be going in a completely new direction. BotW, despite not being my favorite, seemed to be received pretty positively, with far less of the complaints the last three games got. If Legends is that brand new direction, and Scarlet/Violet follows that lead and goes in a different direction...maybe that’s your solution right there. I don’t know. 12 days until we find out, I guess.

For the meditation, I got yin/yang ☯️ as a platform you and your person (presumably) were standing on, but they were separate and spinning very fast, it was chaos. Once you two grabbed hold of each other, the spinning stopped and everything came together. Yin/yang is the balance between masculine & feminine energies, Mars and Venus, the delicate balance of all partnerships, a particular life lesson for Libra. Finding balance is not as hard as maintaining it, and everyone struggles with it, but when things are not in balance for Libra, it feels like chaos in the brain and makes you very cranky.

If this is romantic, it’s probably a soulmate or someone who balances your energy. Or this is the struggle. Doesn’t have to be romantic, it can also show finding a balance in any relationship. - As she is basically a unicorn in general rarity, the men of the household will look to you and Kikyo to handle most feminine related things. Certainly, Zeno will still raise and train her as he would with any of the Zoldyck young, but anything primarily estrogen or female anatomy related, he doesn't know how to deal with. Do keep in mind, Maha and Zeno have only raised boys, those with feminine anatomy just aren't born into the family, Tollume is the first.

- Killua will finally be let off the hook for being the heir to the family name, meaning he is semi-free from his family's control over him. He won't be put in an arranged marriage, at any rate. He will want to return and take his little sister away before the family can screw her up like they did with him.

- You can have as much time as you want with your little one. Naturally, Silva is less than pleased there is yet another attention-stealing child in your life, but he will at least pretend to be a decent father for your sake. Illumi will be around more as he will act as a nanny given the fact that you are bed ridden due to the strain pregnancy and surgery put on your already damaged hips and spine. Everyone is able to finally rest now that the pregnancy is over, knowing you will want time with your tiny newborn.

- Silva will take you out in your wheelchair and let you soak up some sunlight as you cuddle and coo over your little one. He will stand patiently and let the infant pull on his hair or squeal at him. For your sake, he does all he can to make you happy and he knows it will kill you if he takes the infant away from you, so he lets you be.

- Tollume knows who her mama is and she prefers you over everyone else. Always soothed by your soft humming and gentle words, cuddling up to you and resting peacefully. She will eventually become frustrated with the others of she is away from you for too long, beginning to wail until back in your arms.

- Training her will be absolute hell for Zeno because Tollume sure ain't gonna listen to him, she's a mama's girl. He will still try but it will eventually lead to you being outside of your room and in your chair much more. Certainly you can still walk, but the chair is always there should the strain become too much for you to reasonably handle. Silva will hover and will not allow you to leave his sight, worried something may happen to you while you are outside of your room. The butlers don't know your true identity, but they know to leave you alone and to do their best to not even look at you given the near constant negative reaction Silva has in response. There will be no less than two of the guard dogs with you as both comfort and protection, surprisingly seeing them even show some level of affection to Tollume, even though they are supposed to be unfeeling and obedient with anyone other than you.

- Tollume's first word is the same as all of your other children, "mama".

- Milluki will actually have a certain fondness for Tollume, though he will still complain about it. She enjoys watching anime with him and he even secretly lets her mess with his prized figurines.

- Kalluto will 100% carry his baby sister around and be a wonderful older brother to her. His favorite thing to do is feed her, absolutely fascinated with the infant and determined to be a better brother than his siblings.

- When first introducing Alluka to Tollume, she will be worried about hurting the infant on accident, but certainly overjoyed at the new addition regardless. Nanika will come out- which makes you panic more than a bit- but surprisingly, Nanika adores Tollume in every way, shape, and form. You were worried how they would react to their new baby sister, but they are both overjoyed at being a big sister to such a cute little baby.

Possessive, Protective Mikey

You were like some sort of disease to Michael. Or, perhaps, a parasite was a better descriptor of how you affected him. You wormed your way into him, deep into his chest, right beside his cold, soulless heart. You made him… feel, regardless of what that actually meant, it was beyond unacceptable in his eyes. That warm, painful throbbing in his chest was more than distracting, it was nauseating, disturbing. Terrifying… In a sick, twisted, wrong way, you terrified the Shape of Haddonfield. Michael fucking Myers was absolutely terrified of a small, defenseless creature that was completely helpless against the evil and cruelty he wielded against the world. He should kill you a hundred thousand times over for this transgression! But… it wouldn’t make him feel any better. He only… feels more empty every time your cheeks are stained with tears. Cold. Dead. Michael would feel dead without you…

This isn’t the first time he’s caught someone hurting you. It’s happened many, many times over, and his reaction has ranged from blinded rage to searing hatred. Not just for the one harming you, but towards you, yourself. It was that lack of control that drove Michael insane. He couldn’t watch you 24/7, couldn’t always follow you around or know where you were at any given moment… It drove him fucking crazy, and he took that frustration out on not just the asshole unfortunate enough to have crossed paths with you, but onto you, as well.

But, even that was quickly losing its luster to him. Michael had thought that hurting you would bring him some sort of fulfillment, like it has always done in the past when he had hurt others. It never has, though. Sure, he’s lied to himself, trying desperately to convince himself that seeing you all small, all scared and teary-eyed brought him a measure of enjoyment, to have your blood on his hands, to have you groveling in terror before him- but it didn’t. It- He- Michael felt… not good, when that happened. You made him… stop to consider how his actions would affect you, and he hated that.

Michael despises that you’re a magnet for trouble. That you just can’t seem to stay the hell away from people that want to do you harm. Sure, he doesn’t mind killing them. Quite the opposite, in fact, he rather enjoys seeing them covered in their own blood, begging for their pathetic lives before he mercilessly snuffs them out. No, Michael hates that you get hurt in the first place. The only one that should ever have the right to put their hands on you was him! Him, and him alone. Anyone else would be destroyed.

Some wannabe serial killer punk had set his eyes on you. Luckily for you, Michael knew better than to leave you to your own devices, anymore. He caught the little bastard scoping out your home before you had any idea of the danger you were in. He’d make sure that, this time, he’d be in complete control of the situation. You won’t be hurt, but that idiot thinking that he can do as he pleases? He’s going to regret the day he was born…

Sitting in your kitchen, you drank what must be your fifth coffee of the night. Strange things were happening, and it left you unable and unwilling to sleep at night. Rustling outside your windows, the sound of someone possibly jimmying your doors and windows, looking for a possible way in… Muddy footprints on your porch and small, dead animals left on your door mat… It was becoming too much. You’re… pretty sure it wasn’t Michael. He did love to torment you, but this wasn't really his thing. He was much more… direct, with his approach to you. This… this was someone else…

Pinching the bridge of your nose, you rub your eyes, feeling them water involuntarily from how dry they were. Anxiously, you tap your fingers on the top of the counter, before sighing heavily and grabbing your coffee mug. You decided to make your way to the living room, thinking that some TV would help calm your nerves and get your mind off of things. Fuck, I’m exhausted… You thought bitterly as you crashed onto the couch, nearly spilling lukewarm coffee all over yourself.

Picking up the remote, you absentmindedly flipped through channels, not really wanting to watch anything. It was just something else to focus on, rather than the impending sense of dread that was washing over you. This feeling was one that you were well acquainted with: the feeling of being watched. Your heart was pounding in your chest and your palms were slick with sweat. Slowly, you sit up, clumsily placing your mug on the table in front of you. The hairs on your entire body stood on end. Something’s not right here…

As you begin to rise off the couch, a firm hand pushes you back down into a sitting position. Your heart jumped up into your throat. You’re very familiar with Michael’s hands, and the one still gripping your shoulder was much, much smaller than his… Short, shaky breaths escaped through your clenched teeth. Fuck..! Oh shit- Oh my God no no no-! You don’t dare to move, only stare straight ahead at nothing as your mind runs wild with possibilities. Who the hell is it?! How did they get in?! Why me?! Where the fuck is Michael when I fucking need him?!?

The intruder sucks in a deep breath, as though he’s about to say something, but instead yelps in surprise as he’s ripped away from you suddenly and violently. You gasp, shooting up and scrambling across the room, back peddling into an opposing corner. Curling in on yourself, you crumple onto the floor, watching the brutality unfolding before you through the cracks of your fingers.

Michael had thrown the intruder back, sending him crashing into a mostly bare bookshelf, breaking most of the shelves along with it. You cringe and jump, feeling your insides twist and revolt against you. Michael drops to the floor, straddling the winded, smaller man as he desperately tries to fight back. Vainly. It was laughable, really. The idiot didn’t stand a chance against the human incarnation of evil, itself.

Michael briefly debated on playing with his food. There was something about seeing them crawl and beg that really set him off, but when he glanced at you over his shoulder, in the fetal position and hyperventilating, he actually decided against it. It was getting under his skin seeing you like this, and the quicker this is… inconvenience is dealt with, the quicker things will be back to normal. Well, to Michael’s fucked up definition of the word “normal”, that is.

With a quick stab to the back of his neck, the intruder was killed. Normally, Michael would have painted the walls with this creep’s blood, but he decided that it would be too much of a pain in the ass to clean up. With a flick of his wrist, Michael twists and pulls out the blade, wiping the excess blood onto the back of his victim’s shirt. He looks back over to you, and sees you stiffen. His… Huh. His chest actually hurts…

With a heavy sigh, he stands, stepping over the dead body as he makes his way over to you. A major part of you was beyond terrified. Is he gonna hurt me..? Oh- Oh God..! I’m gonna- I’m- I’m gonna..! You were trembling, shaking so hard that your teeth were actually chattering audibly. Michael’s eye twitched. He was conflicted: one part of him loved that you were this scared of him, as you should be, but the other… the other hated it. He- Well, he wanted… something, but he just didn’t know what. Fingers twitching, he reached out to you, struggling to ignore how you froze as he slowly approached you.

You really thought that he was going to grab you by the hair and drag you off to the bedroom, so when his fingertips just barely brushed the top of your head, moving the hair from your face, you were, well… at a bit of a loss. Michael has never, ever been that gentle while touching you. Ever. You raise your head slightly, just enough so that you could see him. He still had that damn mask on, of course, and his body language hardly betrayed what he was thinking or feeling, but- You couldn’t deny that his fingers were trembling ever so slightly.

He slowly crouches in front of you, treating you as though you're some kind of animal that will either bolt at the slightest movement or go for his jugular, or something like that. You don’t move or speak, unsure of what he was doing. When he placed his hand where that stalker touched you, gently- carefully squeezing your shoulder as though you were made of glass, you… you relaxed.

You could tell that he was struggling to be gentle, with how his fingers twitched uncontrollably and the pressure of his fingertips varied. You looked up to him, then down at his chest as an odd warmth spread through your cheeks. Michael was extremely possessive over you. He hated it when you interacted with anyone else, especially other men. But, right now, even though another man had touched you, he wasn’t flying off the handle like he usually did. He was still extraordinarily pissed off that he had given the bastard just enough time to physically touch you, but it was remedied.

He was fucking dead, and you were still here. You were his and his alone. That wasn’t called into question. There was no dispute. Michael Myers is the only person that is ever allowed to touch you. You’ve come to accept this, and slowly but surely, you’re even beginning to enjoy his touch. As sick and messed up as it was, you’ve started to develop feelings for him, despite the fact that he made your life a living hell. If anything, you knew that no one would hurt you ever again. No one, except for him.

Xiao

• Thrown in an unfamiliar environment puts Xiao on high alert. Instincts kick in and his hand subconciously grabs for his spear. Nothing. Not even his vision activated. Xiao's gaze darts all over before landing on your figure. He sighs in relief, you're safe, that much he can decipher as of now.

• Stripped of his power, left with only claws and teeth (if must) to protect you from any dangers, he was ansty with every little thing.

• The villagers are so nice??? For what reason must they have to act so friendly to strangers (Xiao wonders). The Mayor even granted you two a vast farmland free of charge.

• Shortly he realized he no longer had his karmaic debt. Xiao wasn't sure how to live his life in this state. He dedicated his entire existence to years of slaughter and suffering that it became the only thing he knew. He won't admit it of course, he'll just throw in scoffs and remarks about how mundane activities are a waste of time when in reality, he just has no clue on how to handle them.

• Thats why the first day was difficult as you both try to figure out how to plant parnsips. Deciding it was better to go with an experiment, you split the share of seeds in half and used what basic knowledge you had on farming to finish the job. Xiao on the other hand tried copying what you did….though the outcome wasn't so desirable it was a mess. (His trained hands have taught him to be on the rough side).

• He doesn't bother socializing with the townspeople even though he has no karmaic debt to worry about. Xiao thinks you're more than enough anyways so what's the point?

• Robin is the only person who can tolerate him for obvious reasons (cough Sebastian cough) she knows exactly how to deal with his personality type. His glares don't faze her, she simply thinks its just a teenage phase of some sort.

• Eventually they become mutuals, Xiao thinks Robin is similar to Verr Goldet in a way. Since he's the one who does the heavy labour of chopping down trees and mining stones for building upgrades, he gets a chance to visit her house quite often. He comes back with lots of recipes too.

• You find out that his adepti blood never left him. Xiao doesn't need sleep so you better believe it when he tells you the next morning that he spent the whole night watering all 300 of your crops (watering is the only process he's good at for farming).

• Sometimes you catch him staring out of the window, wondering what he may be thinking. Life was so much more different, almost hard to recognize. Was this real? Is it okay for it to be real, just this once? Ever since he committed his duty to Morax, Xiao didn't dream of a time when everything would be peaceful. Yet here he is, no longer a weapon but on a journey to find out what it's like to live as a normal person.

• Spring: Every morning you find him kneeling behind the cabin with the pet cat (yes, cats seem to suit Xiao very much). He just stares at them, hesitant if he wanted to pet their fur or rub their chin. So he continues to glare intensely, scaring your cat away :(

• Whenever you wanted to attend any of the town's festivities, Xiao wouldn't even hide his distastefulness but goes with you regardless. Why do mortals consider hiding eggs and finding them a fun activity? And what kind of a name is Flower Dance? Can't they just call it a dance?

• Though…he does like the sight of you wearing a flower crown. Xiao likes putting stuff in your hair.

Since setting foot upon this new world, time seemed to have slowed down to the point that almost everything felt like an eternity. And you didn't mind, with him by your side, you wouldn't mind if it did last forever.

The lull of the grass was the only sound Xiao could hear as he closed his eyes and rested his head on your lap. You maneuvered across his scalp in small, subtle motions, surprised with how warm he felt against the heat your palm. He stirs a little and lets out a soft breath before turning his face to lay on the side.

You were slightly intrigued by the yaksha's new demeanor. From far away, Xiao was an intimidating man, even during the first time you laid eyes him, his presence felt similar to a knife pointing at anyone who dares to come too close. But now, the face that usually held his signature annoyance melted into something you never thought you'd see as the sun rays brushed against the surface of his fair skin. You observed the way his dark eyebrows stayed in a relaxed arch. The red crescents lining right above his beautiful long lashes and the sound of soft snores through parted lips. It was hard to believe that this man was the same person who claimed to have ended a thousand lives through thousands of years.

Did he fall asleep already?

Gently moving away the strands away from his cheekbone, hovered your gaze above him and whispered, "I thought adepti don't need rest."

"Hmph," Xiao responds, though there was no harshness in his tone, "Quit trying to be difficult, I didn't tell you to stop."

The smug grin on your face only widens. You lean downward and said to his ear, "And what's the magic word~?"

Xiao sighs at your antics. You were truly pushing your luck today and he simply didn't have the patience to entertain you. Without a warning, he grabs your wrist and pulls you down, foreheads pressing until you were but a breath away. The adepti conquers, he does not plead.

• Summer: As expected, your parnsnips weren't able to grow as much. Thus, this season was going to be the one to make up for the lost profit. Xiao is very good at hunting, perhaps the best in the entire town. Though the way he catches fish is rather peculiar, said by the folks. He prefers to carve a spear made of wood and repeatedly stabs the lake until results show. Xiao dislikes the old fashioned way, he says its unproductive and it unecissarily takes too much time.

• But as much as he scared the whole town, they were extremely grateful when he cleaned up the slime issues happening in the mines. You could say that he grew very popular since then and eventually mustered up the courage to greet him a hello whenever he passes by.

• You nudge him to reply back. Xiao usually shoots you a glare but slowly, he learns the courtesy of acknowledging someone's prescence.

• Fall: You woke up to a burnt smell coming from the kitchen. Xiao just thought he would return the favour since you always worked so hard. (He was actually trying to figure out what a 'whisk' was. It was no wonder why there were eggshells in the dish!)

• You realized that Xiao was taking more initation compared to before. At night, when you thought the animals were actively jumping in the barns, the noise was actually from Xiao trying to adjust himself to the ways of tending the field. After learning what TV was, he would always switch to the channel "Livin off the land" to gain some insight. Truly, Xiao was greatful even though he knew he eventually had to return to his duties, he wanted to utilize the current days the best way he could. And what better way was it to just make you happy in return?

• Winter: This was the season to test the accumulation of Xiao's abilities: you caught a cold and he had to manage everything in his own. Xiao scolded you for not wearing enough and being too careless but at the same he considered that you must've been working too hard.

• Goes to Robin for help. She basically became his mom now. Prepares the food and leaves them in the fridge, she teaches Xiao how to use the phone in case he needed any help and also lets him know where all the essentials are.

• Xiao stayed by your side the whole time even though you told him you'd be fine. But he refuses, he may no longer be a gaurdian but he was your gaurdian. That role never changed.

Zhongli

• You wake up on a soft bed with Zhongli sitting at a chair nearby. He hands you a cup of brewed water but you're still blatlantly confused. Seems like everything was taken care of by Zhongli, it ends up with him explaining everything to you.

• The folks instantly assumes you both as a married couple. Who could blame them? He did carry your unconcious body all the way to town while asking for a local doctor. You can bet that the ladies wish they were you at that moment. Zhongli took care of everything, including with the contract with the new farm.

• It didn't take long for you both to adjust to the new lifestyle. Zhongli's accumulated knowledge was enough to last all four seasons. Days past by peacefully as you shared the tasks. He'd place down the stone paths towards the gate and you busied yourself with decorating the house. After that was done, Zhongli would rest upon the rocking chair outside your door (like the grandpa he is) and sometimes you'd join him in one reading session. His voice was soothing, you eventually dipped into a slumber as the evening grew colder. Just like always, your beloved brings his arm to encapsulate you from the wind, brushing his thumb against your skin subconciously while you snore softly into his shoulder.

• In a way, the townsfolk were right. You both do act like a married couple. It's basically domestic life with Zhongli in a nutshell.

• He gets connected with Gunther and lands a role in the Museum. Since he's there so often, Zhongli also manages to be acquainted with Elliot as well. Two men who have a common interest with books while speaking in poetic prose. Their conversation would last for hours to the point Gunther had to kick them out of the library!

• Veeeery good with the children, not in an entertaining way but its just the aura he reeks. Penny usually had trouble dealing with Vincent since he never seems to be able to focus but the minute Zhongli speaks, he's all ears. Not only that he was also very good with the elderly. He even recommended some herbs George could take to soothe his back issues.

• Problem is that he still forgets to bring his wallet and Childe isn't here to save him. So once you stepped foot into the Stardrop Saloon and Gus calls you over, he tells you about the cost he owed to his tab….

• But this tranquil life full of genuinity and deprived of sovereignty, he was overjoyed to be able to spend it with you. Because he knew you were unlike him, that all humans were born with an expiry date. He knew so well that after every new greeting, he would have to face the goodbyes over and over until the world eventually came to an end. He knew you were also going to be part of those many goodbyes while he would still be here.

• But as Zhongli walks amongst the fallen leaves, he remembered the beauty that carries within every new beginning. They brought him to you and he would never hesitate to trade his gnosis for it.

Spring: You shot up your bed when Zhongli blast the TV at full volume. He apologizes, saying that he was simply trying to change the channel. You figured it was best for him to go outside before he somehow glitches the screen until it couldn't repair itself (Robin charges for repairs).

• Every thursday you both go to Pierre's store to complete your grocery shopping. He offers to push the cart as you fill the basket with all the necessities (plus it saves you the trouble of having him tossing whatever he sees without looking at the price tag).

• Every afternoon you order a take out from the Saloon, sharing the meal while sitting at the fountain's edge near the community center. Every evening Zhongli would take you to explore the rest of the vast farmland, discovering places you weren't even aware of. It was no wonder why everyone thought you were a married couple.

• Summer: Since the cabin was too small for a bathroom, you guys would have to travel up the mountains in order to get to the Spa house (cue sweatiness x10).

• The concept of hotsprings was derived from Inazuma so it was no surprise that Liyue eventually took it after him. Zhongli had collected some incense from foraging items over the past few months, he knows whats up. But overall he gives the best bath sessions (hands down) and you were the one who insisted in joining him. He was a gentle and sweet lover, always putting your needs before his. Ancient artifacts and old history books have always been precious to him, he treated you no differently.

The heartbeat of the oceans continues to rock back and forth until they brush up on the sandy shore, washing away the two pairs of footprints left behind by a man and a woman.

Gold against gold, his amber eyes reflected against the scenery. Millions of lights flashed among the sea when the sun began to climb down from the sky, it's rays hugged across the valley like an ethereal glow bestowed by the heavens as summer's wind brought even more warmth than what he had currently felt. You trance ahead of with the same light shaping around your form.

"Oh hey there's another rainbow shell," you waved at him before running off, "I'll be back!"

How is it that you still continue to shine like gold in his memories?

Zhongli suddenly ponders at the chapters laying ahead of him. He spent so many years turning each page without ever reaching a conclusion, forever searching the fabled happy endings written in fairytale books, but he knew his immortality wouldn't grant him that wish.

Thus, the formal archon raised his pen and reweaves his own story. He envisions his future with you by his side, engraving every detail until it was immortalized in his memories.

Perhaps I shouldn't keep her waiting.

With a renewed resolve, Zhongli clutches the gemstone tightly in his palm, he seals the page with the final contract between your future and his.

• Fall: After getting your first house upgrade, it was time for the next event: the ceremony. Yes, Zhongli would only have a wedding if Liyue traditions were involved. Everyone was invited of course, they were quite intrigued with the flashy setup such as lanterns and fireworks (you were a little worried with where he got the budget for such items) and Zhongli even educated Gus about some recipes he can use for the Saloon.

• You found out that Zhongli was saving all his money for this day (it was no wonder that he couldn't pay for his tab!). Old habits die hard, it was a shame that he didn't have his powers to craft the right items, but at least he got to sea you in a traditional eastern dress (it's the part he was looming forward to the most).

• Fall is the best season. One you wouldn't forget.

• Winter: Ah he finally learns how to use technology after three seasons. He only knows two channels from the TV which was 'Livin off the Land' and the weather channel. Zhongli oftens talks to himself as he tries to figure out more mechanics, he seems to be extremely absorbed in the most basic things.

• The miner of the house. But instead of using them to upgrade tools and donating them to the museum, Zhongli likes to keep some of them for collection. You could say your house also had a little museum in the other room.

• Romcom movies and soap operas. You can't change my mind that this is what you both spend your time watching as the snowstorm rages outside.

~Random Reki Headcanons because I can~

I am in love with him

He’s an absolute menace. If you slip up and make any mistake in front of him he will not let you live it down (all in good fun of course).

He likes going to arcades. More often than not other than the skatepark an arcade is his number #1 date spot (especially during the cold months). He likes showing off, whether it’s playing a match against you in some type of fighting game or trying to win you a plushie in a claw machine (and then pouting and grumbling when the stuffed animal falls for the hundredth time).

He’s really big on physical affection. He’ll sneak his hand into yours when you’re walking together, avoiding your gaze but the bright red blush on his cheeks clear as day. If you’re sitting together or laying in bed he’s always all over you. Sometimes he likes to lay his head in your lap, pinching at your cheeks as you run your hands through his hair.

He taught you how to skate! He practically begged you to learn and although you were nervous he was by your side the entire time! Holding your hands when you were scared and giving you skeet kisses on your cheeks in an attempt to calm your nerves when you needed it.

He is a very light sleeper. If you so much as move an inch to adjust yourself while you’re cuddling he’s awake and whining about you leaving him, his grip around you tightening so that you can’t escape. Of course you weren’t leaving at all and you try to explain to him that you were just moving but he’s still half asleep and does not believe you.

He loves waking up beside you. Not that you can leave anyways, he’s far too light of a sleeper for that, but regardless he absolutely loves seeing you beside him when he awakes. He’ll pull you even closer to him, one hand playing with the tips of your hair while the other is slung loosely around your waist. He wakes you up by peppering you in kisses. Starting from your neck he’ll make his way up to your jawline, kissing along the outline of your jaw before moving to your cheeks, your forehead and then ending on your nose. Once you wake up he’s a blushing mess, especially if you catch him mid kiss.

Speaking of noses, that’s his favorite spot to kiss. He likes watching your nose twitch and scrunch as you give him a sweet smile. But he is pretty fond of your lips too. Sometimes he likes to snatch you in a kiss as he’s walking by or if he just wants to feel you close to him. Where he kisses you honestly just depends on his mood.

He calls you Prince/Princess! He’s a fan of the cutesy stuff, no matter how generic it may be and he’s always dreamed of being able to hold someone and call them his Prince/Princess. And he loves spoiling you, he treats you like royalty. No matter how many times you tell him he doesn’t have to spoil you so much, it won’t stop him.

Jealousy is over 900%. He gets SO JEALOUS. He’s pretty insecure so if someone even looks in your direction it can get him pretty irked. He’ll hold your hand tighter or place a kiss to the top of your hand, making sure that he makes eye contact with whoever is staring at you. If someone tries to approach and begin flirting with you he’s very vocal, reminding them that you are in fact taken and you are in fact very busy right now. He’s not subtle and his affection towards you will only grow, practically hanging off you as he gives them major side-eye, to the point that the other person will get uncomfortable and leave (if they hadn’t already). Once they begin leaving he gives you a rather rough kiss, practically slamming his lips onto yours in an attempt to calm his nerves and his racing heart (he had been worried after all) and if the other person just so happens to turn around and see, well that’s not his problem.

Now let’s talk about his insecurities for a second. Sometimes he just needs you to hold him and tell him that everything’s going to be okay. He needs to know that he’s worth something and that you love him as much as he loves you. Sometimes he feels like he’s not worth your love and affection, he needs you to say that you love him and that he’s perfect just the way he is. He tries his hardest not to cry when he feels this way, he wants to be tough for you, but sometimes it just spills. When he cries, please, wipe his tears away and hold him close. Pepper his face in kisses and remind him just how much you love him.

His friends at S have adopted you into their group. You like to tag along when he races, you’re his number 1 supporter and it brings him great pride knowing that you’re cheering him on to do his best.

The people at S do anger him sometimes. One particular beef he had participated in, the man he had been racing joked about taking you as his prize for winning… Joe had to pull the boy off of the man before he could do anymore damage. He was infuriated, disgusted, and he even tried squirming his way out of Joe’s grip to finish the job before the other man slunk away. You had to caress his face and remind him that everything was okay, that you were okay to calm him down. You had never seen him so raging mad before.

His mother and his sisters adore you! When you go to his house his little sisters constantly bug you, pulling at your clothes and trying to get you to play with them. Reki will shoo them away so he can have his alone time with you but his mother will chastise him and tell him to let the girls spend time with you.

He loves hearing you say “I love you”. He’s a sucker for verbal validation. If he hears you say it, he knows that it’s true and that he isn’t alone in his feelings.

Hello,, may i request headcanons of the brothers who got a love letter from mc but it turned out to be a prank from some lesser demons,,thank you :))

This was meant to be posted on yesterday for April fools but ended up getting caught up with things irl and didn't get to finish it in time - aaaaaaaand I fell asleep before midnight and now it's 3 am, fell asleep mid way through writing, well done me 😭😂

Rip the lesser demons for always having the balls to cause mischief but always end up getting hurt, when will they learn - what happens at the end is up to you

The lesser demon snickered towards his friend, shushing their friend as they slipped the pink letter into the higher demons locker. Another demon was with them, more timid than the other two.

"what if we get in trouble?! They'll find out it wasn't actually the human and we'll end up dog food-!"

"we planned this whole thing, it'll be fun - we just gotta stay at a distance!"

It was long before footsteps grew closer, the timid demon squeaking in fear. The other lesser demons took it as a sign to start running, grabbing each other and bolted away from the scene of the crime.

The owner of the locker arrived, just noticing the lesser demons run off in the distance. He opened his locker and almost stumbled back when a letter fluttered out. The demon grew curious he noticed there was a heart seal on the back. He opened it to read it to himself.

I think it's about time I come clean about my feelings, I've been holding these in for a very long time and I refuse to keep them a secret anymore!

I'm in love with you! I can't explain it but you've won my heart, everytime you smile at me I just can't help but feel my heart skip. Is it wrong to feel this way? I'm only a human and you are a demon...we're so different and I don't know how long we'll be able to have this time we have together. All I know is that I want to be with you for as long as I can!

He's internally screaming, his face was bright red

Watch this boy struggle against his locker as he tries to hide his excitement

Though, when his high died down he did find it strange you were being shy

You could have your shy moments but to confess through a letter was odd

He wasn't the brightest guy around but he can sense when he's getting scammed - even if he ignores that instinct when it comes to money

He's always around you so it wasn't strange for him to see you after class and he was surprised how... relaxed you were

Something was up but in the end, he went to the back of the school

When he texted you, asking you where you were and you said going home - that was the final straw

HE WAS TRICKED!

"Oi! Are you out there?! I know you tricked me!"

The lesser demons started to panic, not thinking mammon would catch on

But when mammon started marching around looking for them they decided it was best to reveal themselves

"There ya are, now let's get to talking - what made you three wanna do something like this? You think it's funny to pretend to be the human?"

The leader snickered, agreeing that it was funny to pretend but their friends understood right now - their doom was coming

Mammon cracked his knuckles, stalking closest to them

"I like a good joke, let me show you my favourite one."

Levithan:

Love Letter in his locker??? Heart seal!!!??HE WAS THE LOVE INTEREST??!!

He's torn between dying inside and excitement, he's absolutely losing it

He had to fan himself with the letter due to how hot his face was getting

He wasn't sure how he was going to face you! Let alone you having to face him

But- there was no way you were interested in him! You wouldn't do this

He didn't believe it, it HAD to be a prank

When levi saw you for the rest of the day it only strengthen his suspicions

He did go to the back of the school and when he saw you were no where to he seen

He was absolutely embarassed and ashamed by even hoping it was real

"YOU CAN COME OUT NOW! just- just stop hiding, it isn't funny."

the demons came out, disappointed with the lack of dramatics

The demons started to feel uncomfortable, the higher demon had tears in his eyes and obviously worked up

Even the one who wanted to see this kind of reaction was uncomfortable

His demon form started to shift outwards and raised his hand, the ground beneath them rumbling

"it seems you just think I'm some sort of pushover! But I'm not!"

Satan:

Hm, how interesting

It isn't too odd that you're using a letter to confess, you know he appreciate writing

But you were more verbal or atleast text - this was new

But to say he wasn't absolutely ecstatic was an understatement, he was beyond the moon

When he saw you later he tried to not bring up the letter as his brothers were around

Though, he was thrown off when you got confused when he teased about seeing you after school

He decided he'll investigate things, going up to demons who have lockers near his and ask if he saw the human put anything in it

After awhile of searching he finally found out it was three demons who did it - he didn't want to spoil their fun and so he still went

He leaned against the nearest tree, waiting for the demons to arrive

"Ah you're here, I'm so glad you finally came."

the demons were surprised when he moved towards them, they left their hiding spot with nervous smiles

"You write well, you got their energy almost perfectly into the letter - I'm impressed."

They didn't expect that....not one bit

"you're not....mad???"

Satan chuckled, flexing his clenched fists

His smile grew more strained and dangerous as he leaned over them

"oh no, no I'm not mad - im LIVID."

Asmodeus:

He was surprised to get a love letter, he gets piles worth everyday

He didn't expect it to be from YOU though

You were so open with him and you two were already overly affectionate to each other he was sure you were already low-key dating

So to get confirmation his feelings were returned - he was overjoyed!

As soon as he saw you he's hugging you, telling you how he loved your letter and that he'll still meet you after school if you need to

You were utterly confused and unsure what he was talking about

When you told him you didn't give him that letter he felt his heart break

You didn't love him?? That wasn't your letter??

To think someone would play a prank on him like that! It was rude!

When it was time, he went to the back of the school and pretended as if he didn't sense the other demons

That was until he grew impatient

"are you shy, dear? It's okay - I know it wasn't the human~"

The lesser demons came out, confused

One of them blushed just being near him

"I'm sorry for my friend! They wanted to play the prank but- but I love you asmo!"

He gave them a pity smile

"aww~ of course you love me! But you really hurt my feelings making me believe the human did, I almost cried!"

The demons immediately all felt bad

The idea of their gorgeous asmo crying made them guilty

"I know exactly what will make me feel better, making sure you three can never write again~! Can't have you keep tricking me, can I?"

Beezlebub:

A Love letter from you?! He's a happy boy

But now that he actually thinks about it - it's odd you're not being upfront

You two usually sit alone together when you wanna get something off your chest, holding hands and you don't even have to face each other

Why the sudden change? Perhaps you just wanted to be like one of Levi's anime characters

Regardless, he was happy and wanted you to be happy

Hes was going to make you happy!

Beel was quick to find you and act like he didn't find your letter, you said you'll face him after school and he respected that

Whilst you couldn't exactly avoid each other before then, he did try to give you space

As soon as school ended he Went to the back, waiting for you to arrive

Each second went by and he grew more hungry

He smelt something close by and found three demons hiding, it was odd but he didn't want to be hungry whilst you confessed - he wanted to give you his full focus

"ah-! How did you know we were here?!"

"I smelt the sandwich in your bag, I want it."

It didn't take much convincing to hand it over

He's a scary demon afterall

"it's best you leave, my friend is coming."

One of the demons started laughing, questioning if he actually believed it was you who gave him the letter

Beel got confused before it all clicked together, he frowned, glaring at the demons

He wasn't happy

"I'm still hungry, three demons will do just fine."

Belphegor:

Happy cow man, demon tail go SWISH

On the inside hes like an excited dog, outside he's just standing there

Meanwhile he wants to be like his twin, respectful that you want to do later

He isn't that patient and wants to make it official with you NOW

so as soon as he sees you, he's draping himself on you and telling you how impatient he is

You're confused on why and he shows you the love letter

You tell him that it isn't from you and that's not even your hand writing - it's a good mimic but not yours

He is SHOCKED then he's mad

He still goes to the back of the school but it's to fight whoever pranked him

He wasn't going to wait around

"Get out now or I'll search this entire space for you - it won't be pretty if I find out."

It didn't take the demons twice to show themselves

Belphegor was feared amongst others due to his brutality when push comes to shove

Just because he's always sleeping doesn't mean he isn't scary

"Good~ so which one of you wrote the letter? If you wanted to confess you should of just done it."

The demons looked at each other, unsure on what to do

But after a few moments the youngest brother got impatient, moving towards them with a clenched hand

The leader of the lesser demons finally admitted to doing the prank

"see? It wasn't so hard, let's have a long chat about this~"
