Watching Teen Wolf season 3 and the thought just came to me: I am not entirely convinced Peter is not still incorporeal.

The way he just appears and disappears, when he’s there he just lurks in the background…

There could be an AU where he’s a ghost and hiding it from everyone. (He stays away so it’s less noticeable he doesn’t have a smell? I dunno, this needs work.)

You’re telling me that Derek Hale is living in Beacon Hills owning an auto shop and consulting for the sheriff and having a rebellious teenage son who loves the jeep and in the first twenty seconds of being on screen Derek says to the sheriff “Maybe you should call your son?” Like I literally paused it.

Seriously considering keeping it paused and just writing a fanfic to finish it out because this is a beautiful premise that right now is canon. I accept the first 20 minutes of this movie. The rest we can toss.

#byler #will byers #stranger things #every season besides s4-5 opens with non main characters #for el we got a flashback of the lab followed by her perspective in the scene directly after #and I think for Will we will see something similar #with us getting the flashback of him in castle byers in the UD #followed by him in the present in the scene after #but what exactly would warrant that memory being brought up in association with Will in the present? #mayhaps his connection to the mindflayer and the UD run deeper than we realize… #it’s likely not something he could just rid himself of in s2 and now he’s all good #he literally still feels a connection to everything he is feeling #that means he is still technically at risk of being the spy in some capacity #the massacre at Hawkins lab also was a guiding force for El discovering the ‘truth’ in s4 #so it’s likely for Will this instance will operate in a way that re-contextualizes the events in the past up to now #like that time Will suggested they go to the hospital in s3 only for the flayed to be waiting for them #or how flayed Billy knew they were at the cabin… #all while Will was looking cryptic as hell in that scene watching over el #or the fact that he picked Billy in the first place the season after he focused on Will… #you know.. williams #I think the easiest way to introduce the castle Byers flashback is a dream honestly #specifically a dream within a dream #seeing that recent leak and Will looking like either he has a black or hasn’t slept in days #is giving very much ‘I am afraid to sleep bc I’m scared of what will happen’ #I think dude is not exactly possessed in the sense that we already saw in s2 with like the particicles #but he’s still vulnerable #the door is still ajar… #no but fr this idea of opening a door in your mind was so blatant in st2 AND s3b of teen wolf #I think a big part of it will be guilting Will over the fact that Will has helped him before without Will telling the others #hence his weird vibe in s3… like he’s already successfully fucked with Will post s2 potentially with us being none the wiser aka here we go

I was 22 when I watched Teen Wolf the first time, and I thought "I'm an adult, Derek needs to get it together!!"

Watching it 10 years later, at 32?? I was like "there is a baby in charge of other babies, where are the adults????"

Like, Derek cannot even rent a car in season 1, he's that young.

One of my personal headcanons is Theo having an obsession with time. He owns like three different watches and just as many clocks once he get an apartment. He marks the days on his calendar every day and no one ever question it.

After all, how many years did he spend in the sewers, not knowing if it was day or night, not knowing if it had been hours or just minutes? And how many months did he spend in hell, loosing track of time, unable to remember if that was the tenth loop or the hundredth?

Superboy as a character is built out of basically a thousand different little tragedies, but one of my favorite ones to think about is all the things that he’s never experienced. What was it like, fresh out of the tube and trying food for the very first time? How did he feel, hearing music with his own ears instead of received as a mental download? How long was it before someone hugged him the first time?

It’s no wonder that 90s Superboy was such a hedonist when he started. Who could taste life like that and not want to live it to the fullest?

Started watching Teen Wolf...

I was between obsessions, digging through what I could watch and wondering if it was worth getting upset at the queerbaiting of Teen Wolf. Then I realized that JR Bourne, who I’d had a crush on since perhaps Stargate SG1, wasn’t just a 2 or 3-episode guest star, but actually part of the main cast? So, yeah I decided to watch it. 

(Btw, anyone remember the television ad for Canadian beer where JR Bourne played up the whole “Canadians are nice” stereotype but every single “nice guy” thing he did was specifically to get laid? My man, you have that face and that voice, scheming is... not necessary. But it was a good ad. And he’s really hot.)

I’m stil on season one and I am too (and too ace) old for high school shenanigans (for fuck’s sake, there is a monster killing people, can you stop thinking “but I can’t be with Allison” for five minute, Scott?!?) but I like it.

As expected, I am seriously crushing on Chris Argent. I feel like I’ll be very into Derek in a season or two when he’s just a bit older. But guys, seriously, both of them need to stop being so inappropriate with the characters who are supposed to be teenage boys. 

Derek practically lives in the high school’s boys locker room. Not to mention the constant appearance in Scott’s or Sriles’ bedrooms. I know you don’t mean anything by it, but that makes you look super creepy, Derek. 

And this keeps happening:

Chris Argent keeps stepping into the boys’ personal space. Chris, buddy, there is a fine line between intimidation and... the opening scenes of a bad porno. And the scene where he traps Jackson with car problems in an empty parking lot, then cross behind him and touches his neck? You’re being weird, Chris.

So far, I’m getting pretty much what I expected from years of gifs. What I did NOT expect was to find evil Peter Hale so fun. He keeps commenting on women’s skin as if he wants to wear it and it’s as hilarious as is it terrifying.

i will forever be disappointed (and a little mad) that the trauma from the Nogitsune—especially afterwards—never really gets addressed in the show

it gets addressed kinda, sorta, a little bit right after Stiles gets vomited up by his original body/the Nogitsune but not much, conversations about his well-being don't last long and aren't very substantive, and Stiles goes pretty quickly back to how he was before the possession (except that he's dying) (which i, personally, choose to interpret as him overcompensating, putting on a mask, but i don't think that was necessarily what the show had in mind, they just didn't want to deal with the trauma, lmao)

and yeah, there is a two-month time skip between season 3B and season 4 but they already don't address it at the end of season 3B, but something like that doesn't just. not leave scars and lasting damage

and i also don't only mean Stiles—that everybody else is mostly fine afterwards just feels cheap and like the show didn't want to deal with the ramifications of having the Nogitsune take over Stiles's body, and take on his appearance later, specifically (consider: the Oni, who the Nogitsune looking like Stiles controls, killing Allison, massacring the hospital, attacking the police station and Deaton)

also: for example, when the Nogitsune, wearing Stiles's face, taunts Lydia in the tunnels, don't you think that would fuck with her perception of Stiles at least a little bit? like, she can tell herself all she wants it's not him but he is still wearing his face
