Maybe it's just me but I wonder if in this scene, Melvin noticed that the "Anti-Humor Boy" character looked like him. It's right there on the page in front of him.

I mean like yeah, he needs glasses but he still has a pair of functioning eyes.

I like to think that he did catch it and it gave him another reason to help Professor Poopypants with eradicating laughter.

So here's the small theory I have regarding this scene:

Right there, he realized that not only were the students laughing at Professor Poopypants but also at him and the portrayal in the comic.

So basically he kinda relates to Professor P's struggle of being intelligent, yet no one takes him seriously.

I also like to think that since he isn't capable of laughter, he thinks that laughter is useless and is a distraction. (It would explain why he said he loved the idea earlier in the movie). Heck, at most, he probably believes that he's doing everyone a favor.

So essentially his logic is "if I don't need it, then no one else does, they’d be fine and better off without it".

It would further explain why he's a bit joyous when the plan is kicking into gear.

Not only that, but I like the idea of making a parallel between him and Poopypants here:

Professor P. is chooses not to laugh at himself, and wants to eliminate laughter out of spite, while Melvin is literally incapable of doing so and thinks he's doing something beneficial for everyone.

This by extension, could also parallel with George as both of them are quite smart for their age, but they just have conflicting beliefs about the value of laughter. Which is what causes the two to butt heads.

Tldr: IMO, there has to be another reason why he helped Professor P. besides wanting extra credit.

I don't remember which page this was but I remember a panel in which o!ciel said that his goal was to bring attention to the phantomhive name again (and how he didn't die) so that he could wait until the attackers of his tenth birthday strike again (I suppose because he isn't able to track their footsteps from back then)

Now wouldn't it be hilarious if they had already attacked again and sebastian + the servants just killed them off without a thought? This could be why o!ciel was so insistent in bards flashback on leaving one alive so that they could get information out of them but just like in that flashback there were probably a few more times where they just killed them all completely. Like the circus troupe for example (because they couldn't have known who they were and that doll exists)

Sebastian would therefore just be forced to serve o!ciel until he dies of old age without even knowing they already killed the attackers which I think would be quite funny

As if he's in any position to tell you no.

"Do it," you growl, raising the scalpel to the corner of his lips and resting it there. "Or would you rather I did it for you?"

You let the blade sit on his tongue for a moment, then move it along the inside of one cheek, gentle enough that blood isn't drawn.

"How far down your throat do you think I could get it, hm?" you say, letting out a small laugh at the strangled, fearful sound he makes in response.

At last, you pull the scalpel away. It doesn't escape your attention the way he sags against his restraints, clearly relieved. Well, that won't last long. It's time for the real work to begin. You wipe the blade off, pondering the best way to get this party started.

is it just me, or does a particular part of the aos fandom continuously try to minimize daisy’s role in the show (usually in favour of Simmons, but sometimes with May as well) Like, some of y’all absolutely hate the fact that daisy is the lead female character. This fandom acts like she’s reckless ‘pure of heart, dumb of ass’ type character and she needs someone holding her hand/being babysat and it’s so fucking weird, because out of the entire team, she’s probably one of the best when it comes to thinking outside the box, solving shit, being independent, relying on herself, and being deeply empathetic. 

Like...why is it, that people watch this show and yet the Fanon version of her character is basically reduced to reckless, brute strength, and no smarts? (oh, let’s not forget ‘mean/rude’)

How do y’all mess it up this badly? Daisy isn’t some glorified body guard who’s main purpose is to save Coulson’s ass, or make sure Fitzsimmons don’t screw themselves over.

Why is her role as a leader, kind and intelligent person, ignored this badly among  other fans?

I definitely think it’s core, the qsmp has achieved what it set out to do. It brought people that didn’t speak the same language and came from different cultures and backgrounds together in one place where they were able to come together and create some thing amazing. friendships were created that wouldn’t have been created otherwise and I think that’s one of the main things we have to remember matter what happens :)

Despite everything this will always be important. It's one of the reasons I wasn't upset about the server reopening without the eggs. Keeping it closed until they find a solution or conclusion wouldn't change anything. If they are working to fix it I see no reason why the streamers shouldn't be able to keep interacting and using tools like the translator. Things seem bad but I'm not going to completely give up hope until it's over.

I think the main thing to keep in mind is that this is all still very new. Especially working in with legal stuff, it’s only been a couple of weeks and we can’t expect major changes to happen so soon. people pushing for things to happen now and for information to be shared this instant often forget where we are now.

Think of Liar Liar today! We had Brazilian streamer and a Mexican streamer playing a game show hosted by a British streamer! Three of those people never would have met if it wasn’t for the qsmp.

To me, I don’t want to throw in the towel and see all the negatives in the situation when we don’t even have the full picture. We need to just take a step back and think of what we have gained through the server so far and where we can go in the future.

Time traveling Roddy's gonna have a lot on his plate: Stopping Overlord from rampaging, making sure Luna 1 goes more smoothly than last time, trying to ensure Getaway DOESN'T go full on Starscream, just to name a few. In short, he has his hands full to say the least.

I'm very very torn on how the Getaway stuff would go besides it being different. Because I feel like Getaway might zero in on not liking Rodimus a lot earlier than in canon thanks to Rodimus's attitude towards the mech already being quite poisoned (via now knowing about the future treason and danger he puts Rodimus's mecha in)

I like to think that Rodimus is a better mech at the start of round two than he was in the initial timeline, which causes interesting results (especially with his dynamic within LL Command)

Trying to puzzle out ways that Rodimus can find out about Overlord without it being suspicious, because I feel like he's going to try to hide that he's done so much of this before. But rarely do things go smoothly with Overlord involved.
