I don’t have access to my drawing tablet for a while, so I finished this comic I’ve been working on up as good as possible with my mouse since I want to finally share it!
So here it is! A silly little comic about wanting to burn things to the ground 🤔😆

Can you talk about how christine watches tony confrony obadiah and then walks away when tony is left standing on his own
Christine walks away from the press conference with a piece buzzing between her ears, starts writing it on her tablet on the backseat of a taxi on her way back to the office.
The title. What should the title be? SI Stops Weapon Production. Tony Stark: I had my eyes opened. Tony Stark: Reformed? Accountability for Stark Industries…
She is in such a hurry to get into her office that she almost trips over a chihuahua, ignoring the owner griping at her for it. Her mind is on the article. It buzzes; her fingers tingle with the need to write it, right now.
This is gonna be a good one. Christine can taste it.
Reporting on the press conference turns out to be only the beginning, after that. Christine wouldn’t be Christine Everhart if she didn’t dig a little deeper, and when she stumbles over pieces that paint Tony Stark as a lying liar who lies, she’s… disappointed.
Maybe she shouldn’t be. But she - she believed him, back there, cheeseburger in hand and arm in a sling. She believed him.
It feels personal, somehow.
“Fancy seeing you here.”
She wants to see his reaction. She wants to corner him, have him lie to her face, and then she’ll write a piece to tear him off his high horse.
Oh, of course, this is the kind of industry where money weighs heavier than some idealistic reporter, and a blackened reputation won’t slow Stark down that much. But this is what she’s gone into this profession for.
The truth.
And she’ll want to tell it to anyone who will listen.
Surprisingly, Tony Stark suddenly is on that list. And he listens.
“Well, I’m not my company.”
Oh, Christine thinks, seeing his expression, shit.
“I need to–”
“Mr. Stane is outside,” Christine says, and Tony - Mr Stark - catches her gaze. She has honestly no idea what he sees on her face; what expression she is wearing apart from careful neutrality.
If he truly didn’t know, it is no excuse. It just means he got screwed over more than anyone listening to that press conference (cheeseburger and arm in a sling).
“Right.”
She follows him outside, because of course she does.
The night air brushes coolly against her naked shoulders, Christine folding her arms in front of her chest, keeping herself in the background as she watches the two men converse in camera flashes.
Stane leaves, and Stark doesn’t move. Christine feels a chill run down her spine - the cold, probably, right? - and watches the billionaire’s back for a moment. Finally she exhales, and moves down a couple steps to get on the same height as Stark, careful to keep a respectful distance between them (not that she’s particularly concerned with the cameras, but at an event as this, one has to remain aware of the image projected).
“I suppose I’m giving my editor another article to print.”
Stark startles, gives her a wide-eyed look. He probably forgot Christine was hanging back at all, and she doesn’t waste time being offended, just quirking her brows. With Tony Stark being Tony Stark, he catches himself again quickly. “You said you believed me, at the press conference.”
“Yes.”
“It’s because I meant it.”
Christine nods, her lips quirking slightly. “Good. I believe you.”
“Is that why you won’t publish this? It’s quite a story.”
“I think having you owe me one can only come in useful, somewhere down the line.”
“Sneaky.”
“I trust you will fix this.”
An exhale. “I hope so.”
Christine nods again. “Good luck, Mister Stark.”
He looks after her, a little confused at that surprising development, but it doesn’t last long. There are new things to worry about. There is Gulmira.
