i find this obsession with fighting demons to preserve “pure spiritual goodness” to be quite reflective of the imperialist mindset. which is probably why this system of belief is most common amongst white conservatives, however it is not exclusive to that group. what i have noticed, however, is that this thinking transcends across denominations.
anything that challenges or disrupts the idea of your faith, internally or externally, must be from the devil. there is no dark night of the soul in this system of belief. doubt, sadness, and suffering cannot be from God. these experiences must be fought tooth and nail, your perception of the world and the divine cannot be transformed. there is no surrendering to the mystery of God.
so they must be warriors, fighting onward against anything that corrupts their perception of goodness. they must quash any resistance to their visions pure godliness. violence is key imagery here. bibles become weapons against enemy forces. rosaries become swords to defend the church. it is a an expansionist vision... to violently defeat their perception of evil with the ultimate goal to have everyone agree with their ideas of purity.

I will be lifting your prayer request when I pray the rosary today. I am truly sorry that you have been struggling with spiritual warfare. I know such experiences are not easy to fight. But I know that God is with you. He will renew your strength everyday to keep fighting. In our struggles, the power of God is made perfect. As scripture tells us in Ephesians 6:10-18, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Reflection: God Over Satan
I remember an incident when we were seminarians assisting our seminary priest in a Mass in our apostolate area. When the Mass started, a man suddenly shouted, “I am the son of God!” The priest was surprised and looked at us for help. My brother-seminarian told him to keep quiet and respect the Mass. But he was adamant and shouted again, “I am the son of God.” It then became clear that the man was not in his right mind. The priest got distracted and could not continue the celebration. I took charge and approached the man and whispered something in his ear. He calmed down and the Mass went smoothly. After Mass, the priest and my brother-seminarian asked me what I told the man that made him keep quiet. I told them that I just whispered, “I am God the Father. Keep quiet!”
Jesus encountered not just a man who was not in his right mind but one who was possessed by the devil. There was no doubt about His power over the devil. The devil recognized Jesus as the Holy One of God. That was the reason why, if you notice, their encounter with Jesus always ended in either defeat or retreat. Worse was that instant when they begged to be allowed to enter a herd of pigs. Consequently, the pigs drowned into the nearby body of water.
Jesus entrusted this power and authority to the Church when He founded it on Peter, the Rock. Jesus proclaimed that even the gates of hell will never prevail over the Church. The whole army of devils will be no match to Jesus. Jesus knew their numbers and their names. Jesus will not fall into their trap. Unless we, the members of the Church, allow the devil to get hold of us.
For the record, the devil had adopted different faces. It is “diabolos,” which means a divider. It is “ho satanas,” which means an accuser. It is the “father of lies.” And finally a “murderer since the beginning.” It will do everything for us to go against God and against each other. Our God is a God of unity, mercy, love, truth, and life. All these, Satan will reverse and abolish. But the Good News is, we are not helpless against them. God had given us Scriptures, the Eucharist, rosary, the commandments, discipline etc. Empowered by Jesus in His Spirit, let us use these Christian weapons to crush Satan.

The Knights of John Paul II (TM) were founded on May 1, 2020 at the outdoor shrine to St. Joseph at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA. Founding members were five laymen and one Deacon who consecrated the Knights to Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Joseph Terror of Demons, The Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, and of course, St. John Paul II.
One week later, requiring a priest or bishop, priest Father Paul officially consecrated the Knights. Father Paul asked to be our chaplain.
After May 1, we started assembling on the streets every Saturday morning. We meet at a church parking lot, do an opening prayer to summon The Heavenly Army, then intercessory prayers and the Rosary. We then break up into pairs like Our Lord sent out the 72 disciples praying the Rosary, the most powerful weapon we have been given from Heaven.
In our opening prayer, we claim the town we are in by name for our King and Queen, Jesus and Mary, and we entrust that town to our King and Queen. We call upon St. Joseph, St. Michael, and all the Angels, Saints, and souls in purgatory, not to pray for us, but to join us at that moment to drive all the demons and evil out of that town or city.
As St. Paul says, “our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the Powers and Principalities.” Our Lord: “I have given you the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and the full force of the enemy, and no harm shall befall you.” Luke 10:19.
The demons have had a free reign in our towns, schools, governments, and society for too long. It is time to fight back!

HOW TO PRAY
THE ROSARY OF THE UNBORN
OUR LADY GIVES THE WORLD THE ROSARY OF THE UNBORN
On October 7, 1997– the Feast of the Holy Rosary – Our Lady appeared to the American visionary, Maureen Sweeney-Kyle, with this rosary and stated: “Propagate the image I have shown you today.”
October 7, 1997 – Feast of the Holy Rosary
Our Lady comes in white. In front of Her and suspended in the air is an unusual rosary. The Our Father beads are droplets of blood in the shape of a cross. The Hail Mary beads are light blue teardrops with unborn babies inside of them. The cross is gleaming gold. Our Lady says: “I come in praise of Jesus, My Son. I come as Prophetess of these times.”
“The rosary you see is Heaven’s way of describing to you the weapon that will overcome this evil of abortion. Heaven weeps for the cost of this great sin. The history and the future of all nations has been changed because of this atrocity against God’s gift of life.”
“Today, sadly, much responsibility must be placed on the laity who are consecrated to Me. I cannot depend on Church leadership to unite in an effort to vanquish the enemy through the rosary. Even My apparitions have caused division by Satan’s efforts to thwart My plans.”
“So today, on My feast day, I am calling all My children to unite in My Heart. Do not allow pride to divide you according to which apparition you will follow. Become part of the Flame of My Heart. Be united in love and in the prayer weapon of My Rosary. The evil of abortion can be conquered by your efforts and through My Grace.”

“I affirm to you, My daughter, that each ‘Hail Mary’ prayed from a loving heart will rescue one of these innocent lives from death by abortion. Maureen asks: “Blessed Mother, do you mean any ‘Hail Mary’ or just one prayed on the Rosary of the Unborn?”
Blessed Mother: “This is a special grace attached to this particular rosary. It should always be used to pray against abortion.

*Note: Catholics believe that, in order to be a sacramental, the rosary must be blessed by a Catholic Priest.

“Please tell the world that each ‘Our Father’ (beads shown to Maureen by Jesus were droplets of blood in the form of a cross) recited on the Rosary of the Unborn assuages My grieving Heart. Further, it withholds the Arm of Justice.” (Jesus – August 3, 2001)

“The greatest promise I give you in regards to this rosary is this: Every rosary prayed from the heart to its completion on these
beads mitigates the punishment as yet withstanding for the sin of abortion.”

“When I say the punishment as yet withstanding for the sin of abortion, I mean the punishment each soul deserves for taking part in this sin. Then too, I also refer to the greater punishment that awaits the world for embracing this sin. Pray from your heart knowing that your rosary appeases Me.” (Jesus – August 3, 2001)

“What My Mother told you last night concerning the Rosary of the Unborn is this. If a group is gathered who are praying for the unborn from the heart and only one person has in their possession the Rosary of the Unborn, I will honor each ‘Hail Mary’ from each person in the group as if they were holding the Rosary of the Unborn themselves. In this way I lift the constraint of time which it takes to produce enough rosaries.” (Jesus – February 28, 2005)

God himself was born as a child. The greatness of a person does not depend on size, for the newborn King is very small. Let us pray for an end to prejudice against the tiny babies threatened by abortion.

The boy Jesus was filled with wisdom, because He is God. Christ is Baptized in the Jordan
When Jesus is baptized, the Father's voice is heard: "This is my beloved Son." All are called to become adopted sons and daughters of God through baptism. We pray that children in the womb may be protected, so that they may be born and welcomed into the Christian community by baptism.

The Wedding at Cana
Jesus revealed His glory by the miracle at Cana. The new couple was blessed not only with wine, but with faith in Christ. Let us pray for strong marriages, rooted in the Lord, and open to the gift of new life.

Christ proclaims the Kingdom and Calls All to Conversion
“Repent and believe the Good News." Let us pray that these first words of Jesus' public ministry may be heard by all who have committed abortion. May they know that the Lord calls them to conversion, and may they experience life-giving repentance.

The Scourging at the Pillar
As Christ’s flesh was torn by the instruments of those who scourged Him, so the bodies of babies in the womb are torn by the instruments of the abortionists. Let us pray that abortionists may repent of these acts of child- killing.

The Crowning With Thorns
Jesus suffered the pain of thorns in His Head, and did so silently. We pray for the mothers and fathers of aborted children. So many of them suffer deep grief and regret over a choice they can never reverse. So many suffer in silence, because others tell them it’s no big deal.

The Carrying of the Cross
Jesus was not condemned by the power of wicked people. He was condemned because of the silence of good people. Silence always helps the oppressor, never the victim. Let us pray that we may never be silent about abortion, but rather will clearly speak up to save babies from death.

The Ascension
By ascending to the Father’s throne, Christ takes our human nature, given to us in the womb, to the heights of Heaven. He shows us that human beings are made to be raised to heaven, not thrown in the garbage. Let us pray that the world may learn this Truth and reject abortion.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Advocate: He pleads our cause, for we cannot save ourselves. We pray that He will make us advocates for the babies, who cannot speak or write or vote or protest or even pray.

The Assumption
The Blessed Virgin Mary was taken body and soul into Heaven because she is the Mother of God. Mother and child are united. The Assumption reminds us that they belong together. We pray that society will see that it cannot love women while killing their children, and cannot save children without helping their mothers. We pray that people will be touched by the pro-life question, “Why can’t we love them both?”

The Coronation
Mary is the Queen of the Universe. The Church teaches that She is the greatest creature, second only to God Himself. The Church defends the dignity of women. We pray that people will understand that to be pro-life means to be pro-woman, and that to be pro-woman demands that we be pro-life.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Our life, our sweetness and our hope! To Thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most Gracious Advocate, Thine Eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed Fruit of Thy Womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

"I would make My priests resplendent with holiness. I would impart to their tongues and to their hands the very graces that I poured out upon My Apostles in the beginnings of My Church." (IN SINU JESU).
"Jesus went up to the mountain to pray, and he spent the night in prayer to God.
"When day came, he called his disciples to himself, and from them he chose Twelve, whom he also named Apostles:
"Simon, whom he named Peter, and his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called a Zealot, and Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor." (Luke 6: 12 - 16).
Friday 28th October 2022 of the 30th Week of Ordinary Time is the feast of Saints Simon and Jude. They are among the 12 Apostles chosen by Jesus in today's Gospel. "Tradition has it that they preached in Mesopotamia and Persia and there were martyred." (Roman Missal). St Jude is a very popular Saint. He is the patron saint of lost and impossible causes.
Jesus built His worldwide Church on the foundation of the Apostles and prophets. Each year, we celebrate the glory of Saints Simon and Jude and the other Apostles. Why do we not celebrate the glory of Caesar, King Henry VIII, Napoleon, Churchill or Stalin?
The message of the Apostles still goes out throughout the world.
It is the mind of Christ that the Church He founded be built on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets. What are the characteristics of this Church by which she can be recognized all over the world? There are four marks. We profess every Sunday in the Apostles' Creed that the Church is One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. What do these words mean?
#1 One: One faith, one Baptism, one Shepherd.
#2 Holy: The Holy Spirit that indwells the Church is the source of her holiness. The Holy Spirit continually cleanses the Bride of Christ from defilements.
#3 Catholic: Universal. Found in all the countries of the United Nations and every other place of human habitation.
#4 Apostolic: Every Bishop is directly traceable to the original 12 Apostles who were constituted in today's Gospel. Many Bishops would have their lines run through Saints Simon and Jude, our saints of today.
"Simon and Jude are the holy men
whom the Lord chose in his own perfect love; to them he gave eternal glory." (Cf Entrance Antiphon).
10. 28 "As for you, dear son of mine, persevere in praying to me. Hold fast to my Rosary and beware of every ploy of the Evil One to separate you from it. My Rosary is your safeguard and your weapon in the fight against the forces of evil. At the same time, for you it is a remedy and a comfort. Do you not see how the Rosary has stabilized you? Do you not experience its healing and all its benefits? Pray my Rosary and teach others to do the same." (IN SINU JESU).
