❤️ What are Likes to you? Do they make your day, give you a sensible chuckle? Do different posts liked feel different? What do you mean when you give a like?

I like for both ic and ooc reasons;;; it is mostly the emotion- i enjoy! I'm very shy, so no matter how close i am w/ somebody, i always freak out positively and get surprised when likes are commented on! every single time.... it is a show of interest, but i'm not expectant~;

I don't mind likes that are in real time. I've never been one of those 'clog up my notifs!!' people, just don't have that problem. (maybe i check back too often-) mass likes.....make me nervous, if someone is a total stranger, because i can't parse what they want from me...i guess? like 'ohhh mlem whipped cream, what did i do Right???' being that likable to a stanger and imposter syndrome....

you could probably guess, but likes on ooc/vent posts mean 'i read this and support you!' the idea that somebody is going all 'mweehehe, you broke your arm! yes Yes!!!' sounds so cartoonishly evil. very silly worry that some have had!

but i do really appreciate when people like posts that're meant for themselves- it's natural, but you have to give people time to See posts, so my adhd ass does love the confirmation.
