I just recently read the astral express crew x klee! Reader and I just fell 😍. Klee reader is an adorable menace to society. How would the astral crew react to reader secretly tagging along with them during their adventures like klee reader just hid inside their backpacks and when they open it they saw klee reader and just panics cause they’re in the middle of an unknown planet. Bonus if klee reader just runs off to meet the citizens and unknowningly turn them platonic yanderes!

He had to let go of you when Seele walk past him and notices you, she just grabbed you and walked away, no child should spend time with him. She takes a second look at you and just decides to spend some time with you before taking you to Natasha.

And so this continues, you meet everyone, one by one, somehow without the trailblazers knowing you're there. They only find out when they get a call from Himiko, she sounds paniced, she can't find you anywhere, and then they see you, talking with Hook, she was clinging to you for dear life and glaring at anyone getting too close.

Now it's their turn to panic, and you just smile back, like you didn't just sneak away from the astral express. After they all return, they will put you in a room, making sure to lock it so heavely that not even your bombs can make you escape.

“what’s it to you yang?” you crossed your arms as you looked at his back. jungwon stopped walking, turned around and made eye-contact with you. “what’s it to me?” he asked with a menacing tone as he slowly approached you. “youre walking around this party wearing revealing clothes and expect me to keep calm when every guy is looking at you in a suggestive way?” you moved a step back.

“not only that, you have been trying the whole night to catch other guy’s attention when im standing right here.” he took a step closer. you could smell his minty breath as you took one more step back, back hitting the wall. “and worst of all, is you’re pretending our kiss didn’t even happen” his arm slammed against the wall behind you, caging you so that you couldn’t get out. he slowly wrapped his arm around you waist and kept a good grip there.

“so don’t ask me dumb shit like this yn, not when you’re only mine” he said with fhe last part being barely above a whisper. you gulped and licked you lips as they suddenly felt dry. you stared at him in shock, not moving an inch. jungwon slowly released from his hold on you and walked back until you grabbed the collar of his black leather jacket with your one hand.

“who said i was pretending it didnt happen?” you whispered as you eyes went down to his lips and quickly back up to his eyes. “i did” he replied bringing his arms back around your waist. “why? because im not acting clingy like your hoes used to?” you said with a fake pout on your face, teasing him. jungwon kept quiet. you smirked as you leaned up to his ear. “im not one of your hoes jungwon, so don’t treat me like one” you whispered. you leaned back down and gave his a kiss on his cheek, letting it linger for longer. “got it?” you said as you fixed the collar of his jacket and smoothed it down. jungwon looked at you silently. “good” you said as you removed his hands from your waist and walked back to the party, leaving jungwon with a lot to think about.

Currently thinking of the chaotic mastermind that is Fred Vasseur and always the alphabet of Ferrari strategies. It is plan V for Verstappen.

Fred noticed how Max just is around Charles and decides to capitalise on it. He purposely chose a blue race suit, makes sure they’re in the drivers press conference together, and tells Charles to stick as close as possible to Max the whole weekend. Charles is a bit confused but he’s never one to turn down time with Max and he’d like to see his reaction to Charles properly flirting anyway!

Cue Charles being as distracting as possible either in a cute way by excitedly talking about introducing their pets to each-other in Max’s ear on live tv or by being a sexual menace and bending down to pick up his AirPods directly in front of Max after being indecent with a water bottle. It’s hot in Miami and he’s very clumsy okay 😅

The actual plan V is called out over the car radio and Charles has an early lap dance/battle with a very confused and worked up Max before the Red Bull can completely pull away- racing directly with Charles is not helping the situation at all. After one particularly good overtake Charles blows a kiss towards Max and the Dutchman goes completely wide losing valuable positions!

Everyone agrees it’s a very successful Ferrari strategy and Charles is pleased with how his own experiment went- it gives him the courage to ask Max out in fact.

Haha Ferrari getting inventive - Charles blowing Max a kiss in the race would probably be the only thing to put him off his race! It's a risky strategy though because I can imagine Max racing twice as hard to get back to the front alongside Charles so he can get another kiss blown.

Ferrari getting all the way down to strategy V would not surprise me in the slightest though 😂

But then Red Bull don't want to be beaten on strategy so the next race they will probably make Max walk into the press conference and just sit in Charles' lap or something 😍 Max does it happily because by then he is already (secretly) dating Charles.

Ler Kurama who is somehow the biggest instigator of chaos amongst the four of them??? If the two humans even put so much as a toe out of line, he looks at Hiei and the two nod in complete understanding.

Ler Kurama whose teases are so freaking evil even though he’s got that serious tone. “Aww, you’re quite amusing. Now, what happens if I were to try here? Or here? Oh, dear. That one seemed to really start you up. Perhaps I’ll stay here for a minute.” (EVIL)

Ler Kurama who has a LOOK that tells Yusuke and Kuwabara that he’s not goofing around and he will not hesitate to wreck them right there.

Ler Kurama who constantly checks in on his lees to make sure they’re comfortable and not in pain. He stops as soon as they’re ready, and never wants to push them too far.

Ler Kurama who gets caught up in the fascination of tickling the boys more often than not. “The human body is so intriguing.”

Ler Kurama who tenses when Hiei places his hands on his thighs with a menacing grin. “It sure is, Suichi. Why don’t we discover if the great Kurama shares the same weakness as these two hooligans.”

Lee!Kurama who was the untouchable tickle monster until Hiei finally figured out what tickling was (I headcanon he isn’t all that familiar with it until he spends a good amount of time with the boys) or Yusuke and Kuwabara teamed up. Now he’s got somewhat of a challenge to deal with.

Lee!Kurama who’s ears are so sensitive he can’t stand someone blowing air against them (*cough*Hiei*cough* *cough*Yusuke*cough*) If you puff even slightly he’ll squeak and get all giggly and just- Ahh!

Lee!Kurama who’s more sensitive to firmer tickles along his thighs and legs. Hiei once squeezed the ever loving hell out of his knee to try and make him wince only to earn a series of snickery laughs and yelps.

Lee!Kurama who loves tickles cause he doesn’t get them all that often and it feels nice cause it’s a change up from the daily grind of bruises and wounds ala battles or whatever. He loves how close they make him feel to whomever he’s tickling or being tickled by.

I don't know if you enjoy reading pregnant OC or reader stuff, but do you know how my mom found out she was pregnant? (Note apparently she was very very irregular, which I inherited).

It was NOT her peeing a lot more then normal (she thought it was because she was trying to increase her water intake and it was a natural side effect).

It was NOT her suddenly thinking the smell of hamburger meat was the worst thing in the world (she thought it was just bad and that the store must of had a bad batch...3 times and then her and my dad swore it off. My dad had no clue cause he had his nose broken more then once and claims since then he can't smell accurately). (Lucky her she never had morning sickness)

It was NOT her crying once a week (while she is stoic, she thought it was because she had been reading a book series that had multiple people dying or tragic events that just got her).

It was her fainting at work and being taken to the hospital. Apparently my dad showed up panicked and was like "IS SHE DYING WHATS GOING ON" and both him and her still had no clue until the doc came in and was like "hey you fainted cause your iron is low cause you're pregnant"

Now imagine this but Eddie. Or Steve. After many times of acting out their breeding kinks it actually stuck

my parents are two bumbling idiots in love (they are actually very smart but both had plausible explanations for everything) and that is the core of both Eddie and Steve romances.

But yeah I can so imagine Eddie or Steve raw doggin you and being like “I’m gonna put a baby in you. Wanna see you full with my kid.” But it’s all play! You haven’t planned for kids yet!

So when you start having all these weird symptoms but you don’t question anything. You’re still taking your birth control pills and you’re spotting a bit but you’ve always been irregular.

But you pass out in front of Robin and she goes “don’t die Steve will kill me if you’re dead loser” 😭 and Steve rushes into the ER and you just blurt out you’re pregnant and he’s so in shock and robins know the back giggling “guess you won’t be the only one calling him daddy now huh” 😭 A MENACE

Now with Eddie I can see you really not knowing you’re pregnant until it’s time to give birth. You had no symptoms, hardly any physical body changes typical with pregnancy. But you have a really bad stomach ache at the hideout. They just started serving some new menu items to bring in more customers and you’re hunched over on the toilet.

Dustin (who really shouldn’t be in this bar 😭) is coming back from the bathroom himself and he hears you groaning. After everything they’ve been through he’s not taking any chances. So he goes in the bathroom and sees you covered in sweat with the stall open and he’s like “I’ll get Eddie” but he’s on stage with the CC boys to a sold out crowd so you tell him “there’s no time! You need to help me Henderson! Get in here!”

He has the highest grade in health class but everything he knows is on dolls and diagrams. It’s so chaotic in this bathroom! He gags and almost passes out himself. but he pulls through and helps you give birth to your first kid with Eddie.

Back at the bar the group wonder where you two wandered off. When they all see dustin covered in blood they panic thinking the worst but he takes everyone to the bathroom to see you holding a baby in Dustin’s jacket. At the hospital you and Eddie ask dustin to be your baby’s godfather 😭

So when my mom was giving birth to me there was this medical student group coming by that wanted to see a live birth and she was hell no gtfo 💀 so her doctor kicked them out. And after my birth she asked for a coke 😭 apparently you can’t have coke when pregnant so she was drinking sprite for 9 months! The torture 😭

Natsu Dragneel

🔥 Natsu literally doesn’t even understand what is going on at first. Why is that person hanging around you so often? Why do they gift you something every once in a while? In all his delusional love and his belief that you two will end up being a couple he just plainly forgot that someone else might have a romantic interest in you. At first Natsu is even still quite friendly to them since both of them spend so much time with darling. He’s the only one who doesn’t know which causes his friends to shake their head disappointedly. Eventually Natsu is bound to find out simply because at times he can just sort of sense the emotions of others. The way they look at you isn’t the look of a good and close friend but someone in love and when the mage realizes that, he isn’t able to play 100% normal around them again.

🔥He’s more awkward with his bright smiles and suddenly starts getting competitive and slightly more possessive. He becomes loud and obnoxious when they’re around him and his darling, when they get you a present he has something for you the day right after too. A hug between you and them causes unease to bubble up in his chest and he starts acting annoying to ruin any potential romantic atmosphere. Since Natsu has less time alone with you, he resorts to increased house visits so that he can be alone with you. He asks Happy to stalk his rival a bit so that he has more information. Chances are that he gets on their nerves enough for a fight to escalate although that isn’t uncommon in the guild. The fights might get a bit more serious as time goes on and he realizes how close you have grown to them.

Sherry Blendy

😍Sherry has to be handled carefully because of her tendency to see everyone as her love rival. She sees herself as the best for her darling and won’t tolerate anyone else as their partner besides her. So when she discovers this annoying pest who always hangs up around her lover, she turns into a pure menace. The pink-haired woman is incredibly entitled even if she isn't your official partner yet and that is made very obvious now with a love rival, an actual love rival, in the way. She's extremely touchy with you, does a lot of PDA that has others questioning the relationship between you two and calls you all sorts of endearing nicknames, insists that you do the same. She won't hesitate to pull out the tear card if you don't want to or tell her to stop. She's almost gleeful when she sees the disheartened look on her rival's face.

😍 All those presents won't do, she will have to get rid of them. Sherry is smart enough to know that you cherish them so she can't be too obvious so she ends up crafting scenarios of accidents where the presents are damaged or moments where she gets rid of them silently. She can give you better presents anyways. She helps the rumor kitchen to grow, comes up with a few lies about her rival to convince you that they aren't who you think they are. If she finds out any shameful secrets they keep, she surely will use it as either a way of blackmailing or in another way. The woman is quite terrifying, Sherry knows when to be cunning and manipulative when the time calls for it. When she's with you and they are around, she acts excessively sweet which gives them the creeps. She will definitely threaten them though if she feels like it.

Sherria Blendy

🥰 Sherria falters initially when she realizes that there is someone else who is interested in her darling. She is more of a clutz at times and has troubles expressing her own affection as openly as her older cousin can and seeing how they are able to talk with you so freely gives her insecurity. They just seem so much more capable than she is, even get you all sort of cute presents. She pulls a bit back at first out of confusion how to handle this all, Sherry encourages her to keep pursuing you though. Sherria might think that if it makes you happy, she can endure it but she's wrong. The influence from Sherry and her own obsession cause her to be unable to stand the thought of you being together with her rival. If they make you happy, that's appreciated but not as your lover. That title should belong to her.

🥰 Sherria is much more friendly than her cousin though since she doesn't want to hate her rival to such a degree. Sure, she declares to them indirectly that she'll fight for your heart and that she will be your partner in the future but she won't be overly aggressive and hostile. She's just a bad attention-seeker, pouts when you aren't paying attention to her and might use her clumsy acts at times to have your attention again. She attempts to gift you cute presents too even if she doesn't have enough money to buy you anything fancy. Will definitely steal you away from her rival when the chance presents itself even if she knows that it'll be unfair for them. She won't antagonize her rival badly but in return tends to play the innocent part very often, constantly seeks for chances where she can use that against you.

Wendy Marvell

🌬️ Wendy reaction is the stronger version of Sherria's. Wendy herself often tends to feel insecure since she is one of the youngest in the guild and feels like she's still so inexperienced and has so much more to learn, especially when it comes to love. She shies away when she notices that she has a serious love rival, her mind instantly plagued by insecurities about how she won't be able to compete with them. Wendy gets quiet when they're around you and instead sort of blends with the background, unable to somehow squeeze herself in between the conversations you two have. Her other guildmates and Carla constantly encourage her to not give up since nothing is lost yet, give her advice how to charm you too. Their encouraging words are what motivate her to stop just staring at her rival and you from the distance and to try to fight for your heart too.

🌬️ Wendy is pretty harmless though because she doesn't want to harm her love rival even if they are in love with you too. She knows that they have zero bad intentions when it comes to you and just want to treat you well and Wendy respects that. Considering her more bashful and shy attitude at times though, it's likely you might tend to look after her a bit more and pay closer attention to her out of a feeling that you have to protect her. You know that she has the whole Fairy Tail guild cheering her on behind her back too. Wendy is very altruistic though so if you do decide to choose her rival, she will be heartbroken but accept it nonetheless. She'll stick around in either case even if just via stalking, too attached and obsessed to go on long without you.

Juvia Lockser

💧 Oh dear god, Juvia is jealous, jealous, jealous. She has a natural view that everyone could be a love rival for her but someone trying to court you literally makes everything only so much worse. How dare they thinking that they're meant to be with you when destiny has clearly called for her and you to be lovers and spouses?! She's constantly emitting this brooding and creepy aura when they are anywhere near you two and she gets very mad at them for spending so much time with her lover. How dare they interfere with your days together?! Juvia, who already barely leaves you alone, suddenly just follows you everywhere. Don't send her away, darling! You never know when they might come for you again! She's merely protecting you and the love you two share!

💧 In the very unlikely case she isn't next to you, you and your admirer feel her gaze drilling into you and the atmosphere suddenly turning a lot more uncomfortable before you two can even spot her. She comes storming over with a storm inside her eyes whenever she catches the two of you being together. She pesters you about the presents you receive, would like you to reject all of them and not keep them. Juvia herself steps up her game when it comes to gift-giving, showers you even more in things she's handmade for you. She hits low points when she realizes that her rival managed to flatter you, becomes comedically depressed, mumbles things to herself and has a literal rainy cloud lingering over her head. Your admirer should get used to her threatening them daily though, she's not even above using her magic to shoo them away from you. All for the two of you.

Cujoh Jolyne

🪢 Jolyne can be quite the intimidating woman if she wants to be and she definitely is with the people around you. It's likely she scares everyone around you to keep you more to herself which is her possessive and more needy side talking out of her. She is a deceptive woman so it does not take long for her to discover that this one person around you seems to be interested in you and it triggers something inside of her. She won't admit it but she is scared a bit. She doesn't want her darling to love someone else, at least not as a lover. She already thinks that her father abandoned her during the time she needed him, she won't let someone else she loves slip away from her. Her fear makes Jolyne essentially more ruthless but she is cunning about it, Stone Free makes things easier for her too.

🪢 First of all she tries the classic intimidation though. She always hangs around you and makes sure that her rival never gets too close to you. Green eyes are glaring intensely at them and she never fails to drag you with her when she's had enough of their corny flirting and wooing. You find yourself sometimes cornered by her where she asks you what you think about them with narrowed eyes, a slightly troubled look in her eyes. If they don't stay away despite her mere demeanor, the snarky and sarcastic comments and the way she sometimes whispers to them to know that you're hers, her Stand will be used. It can range to simple things like spiking their drink with something weird with the help of Stone Free to straight up violence. The latter would require some pent-up emotions for Jolyne to take that extra step.

Santiago and you bring out the best and worst in each other.

The two of you in close proximity, left to your own devices will always spell trouble. Thick as thieves, his mom used to say about the two of you, whenever Santiago managed to goad you into another stupid competitive bet.

He just can't help but needle you. It's the way your expression turns serious. The tilt of your chin as you square up. That competitive flash in your eyes. It's on the very top of the list of his favorite things in this world.

"Wanna bet?" Santiago asks, as he arches one eyebrow in challenge.

You return his look, arms folded with your back held up straight that makes the short hair at the nape of his neck tingle in excitement.

"Here? do you want to give Frankie a heart attack? Can't it wait until we get home?"

Santiago smiles, he has you right where he wants you. He leans down lips to your ears, "if you don't think you're gonna win, then you can just say so. No need to make excuses"

Your eyes narrow, staring back at him and he can see the electric spark in your eyes.

And there it is.

"Fine," you say. "You're on."

Here's the thing with Frankie, the man has a sex drive that puts pornstars jacked up on Viagra to shame. It takes about a gust of wind and all of a two seconds reaction time before he'll sport an erection hard enough to put a dent in a tin can.

Something as simple as a suggestive look across the room at Ironhead's houseparty, while Santiago sips his beer bottle already has Frankie gulping hard.

Doesn't take much at all, something as simple as your hand resting on his shoulder while you speak to Molly has him doe-eyed and leaning in towards your touch already.

This is just the warm up.

Santiago's watching you from across the room. Your hand is lingering on the button of Frankie's shirt. Fingertips playing with the tiny buttons, as you whisper something into the man's ear. It looks innocent enough, but the moment you pull away just enough that Santiago can get a good view of the man's face, he can see how those cheeks flush pink. His large hands grip down tight around your hips, until that pretty dress of your scrunches up, and as flimsy as it looks, Santiago is surprised that Frankie doesn't manage to rip it when he does.

You tilt your head just so until your eyes connect with Santiago's across the room, and then you smile.

You've got a clear head start.

And Santiago can't really have that.

He walks over at a languid pace to where the two of you are seated, joining you on the sofa. Placing his hand on top of Frankie's knee, Santiago lets it rest there. He doesn't even have to do much else, he can already see how Frankie's whole body tenses with the touch. Tongue tied, when you ask him a question, and is full on stuttering as he tries to reply with a simple yes when Santiago squeezes down gently.

By the time, you've finished your next sentence, Frankie's already trying to adjust the situation in his pants with a low grumbled out curse.

Yeah, Santiago is winning this one. His hand on Frankie's knee draws up, slowly skimming the denim of the man's inner thigh until--

"No, no!" Frankie barks out, rising from the couch. "You two are not doing this."

"What have I done--"

Santiago doesn't even get to finish his half-assed defense before Frankie pins him with a stern look that has him clamping up.

"Both of you are on a time out. We're with our friends. Behave." Frankie orders in no uncertain terms.

The two of you are left pouting on the sofa. But you do end up behaving. Momentarily at least after that. You're seated on the sofa still chatting with Molly. Frankie's sipping on a beer while listening to Benny trying to explain why it's a good idea for him to get a puppy, while Santiago's pretending to be listening to Redfly talking about the current football season, when really he's trying to map out his gameplan for what to do next.

If Frankie thinks a timeout means that Santiago is calling it quits, he clearly doesn't know him.

From the corner of his eyes, Santiago sees you get up from the sofa and disappear from the room. He gets so distracted from your disappearance that he barely even notices when Redfly walks off in another direction leaving him by himself.

Are you giving up so soon? That doesn't seem like you.

You reappear in the room, some minutes later, holding a nicely garnished Old fashion in hand, as you approach Santiago.

"Hi honey." Your hand is outstretched, offering the drink to him.

"Peace offering" you say, voice sweet, dripping like the term of endearment you've assigned for him. It tells Santiago you are up to absolutely no good.

Accepting the drink, he takes a sip, smiling back at you, trying to figure out your game. "Cariño, what's got you all sweet hmm?"

You don't respond, merely step in closer, eliminating the distance between you, as your hands comes to his collar, straightening it then drawing your palms over his shirt in a display of smoothing out the wrinkles.

"You look really nice tonight, can barely keep my eyes off of you," you say, then you tilt up and press a demure, sweet little kiss on his cheek.

Drawing up his eyes, he can't help but spot Frankie staring back at him, transfixed at the two of you, eyes practically the shape of hearts.

Clever fucking girl.

Taking your hand in his, Santiago draws it up close to his lips before he presses a kiss to your knuckles, and you take a sharp inhale of breath at the touch. He can't be entirely sure if the reaction is genuine or just brilliant showmanship on your part, but either way the sharp thrill in his spine when he hears you doesn't care.

"Santiago, I think the button on the back of my dress tore, you think you can help me? In the bathroom?"

"Course, sweetheart."

From across the room he can feel the weight of Frankie's eyes pinned on the two of you, as Santiago walks you out of the livingroom.

You two never make it to the bathroom, and Santiago doesn't really believe that was ever your intention to begin with. He has you pressed against the wall in the hallway. His lips skims your throat, doting kisses down the graceful line of your jugular as you keen for him and he responds in kind by pressing his thigh firmer between your legs.

"You know Frankie can't really see anything from here," he murmurs against your neck as your fingers thread into his curls, twisting it just right that has that sharp gentle pain spark against his scalp.

"He doesn't need to." You drag his face up towards you, until his mouth is mere inches from your lips. "He'll know what we're up to".

Then you capture his lips with yours, as you moan into his mouth. Fuck, you taste so sweet.

Down the hallway, Santiago can hear fast-paced steps. From his peripheral view, he sees the familiar broadness of Frankie's shoulder come to view. Curls a mess, that old worn out cap askew, eyes darkened to a pitch as he walks right up to the two of you.

Santiago will give you this one. You win hands down.

Two steps away from you, Frankie grabs the back of your neck with one large hand, pulling you to his lips as he licks into your mouth hungrily, uncaring and unrelenting as you gasp out of breath, not letting you have the reprieve to catch some air.

He tears himself from you, and you nearly stumble backwards, legs clearly wobbly, and would have most likely fallen over if you weren't already pressed against the wall behind you. Frankie's gazing at you, eyes hungry, as he licks the swell of his bottom lip.

"Baby, you're in so much trouble," he murmurs. Then he turns to Santiago, eyes narrowed and stern. "Both of you in the car now," Frankie says, no longer a murmur, but a command.

Santiago can't help the chuckle that rises to his lips, can't help but return the mischievous smile you're shooting his direction.

Yeah, you and him, bring out the best and worst in each other, and Santiago wouldn't have it any other way.

This might seem like an odd request, but I'm gathering up my courage to ask anyway.

Could you perhaps do a writing where the reader is a very good person, but has a horrific past.

Corinthian comes to her town, she sees him being a menace or maybe murdering someone, although she's very much afraid of him she thinks he needs a friend. The Corinthian *shocked at this behaviousr* ends up becoming friends with her after sometime and visits her every year until she passes away and every year, he leaves flowers on her grave. Perhaps he meets her grand daughter one day too?

Just a thought for a drabble, if you have time.

Corinthian isn’t religious, so rituals of any sort are quite unfamiliar to him. Despite that, he does have a few of them, even if ‘rite’ is not necessarily the word he’d use, like the way he goes about his victims - the stalking, the loving, the carving. Or the way he’d visit this one grave every year.

The sunlight of early spring glides across the grey tombstone. The day is cool but the marker is probably warm to the touch. Lanky weeds grow around the grave, although they are not tall or dense enough to consider the memorial neglected. There are numerous lanterns placed around it. An enormous willow tree proudly stands not too far from the grave. Some of its long branches brush against the grey stone. In a place like this, one’s rest can truly be peaceful.

When people age, it’s a graceful statement of very vital information: they’re alive. Whatever tried to kill them was unsuccessful. Graves growing older, however, are the exact opposite: it’s a malicious cackle only becoming louder as the tombstone cracks and fades in the sunlight; a memory slowly fading away even if it's regularly recalled and relived.

Corinthian reads the line at the bottom of the gravestone over and over again: Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future*. Whether he wants to or not, he recalls the strange night he met you all those decades ago. Nothing about that fateful run-in suggested he’d become a prisoner to sentiments and melancholy:

Hot blood is dripping down his hands. It’s refreshing, cleansing in some macabre way. Giving in to this urge is always just as sweet like finally scratching a patch of skin that has been terribly itchy for the past, well, forever. But the night is going to only become better: now that the thrill of the chase has come to a grand finish, comes the ravishing.

“Well, that was a little excessive,” you speak up.

The man in a cream-coloured jacket suddenly turns around to look at you. His sunglasses are halfway off his nose but he pushes them back up immediately as he stands up. “An uninvited guest!” Corinthian announces. “Wasn’t expecting one. I think I have some spare time if you want to,” here he flips the knife in his hand, yellow light of streetlamps cascades off the well-kept blade, “get to know each other.”

“I’m not scared of you,” you say with a giggle hiding in your voice. “Middle of the night, you’re killing some poor bastard you’ve never seen before behind a run-down motel, trying to act all tough. You have a knife, what did he have? Sweaty palms? Excerpt from the Bible tattooed on his wrist? It’s not scary, it’s pathetic. You don’t need another victim, you need a friend. Maybe a hobby, too.”

He’s standing maybe a meter or two away from you but you’re not bothered by that. You can’t be, not anymore. “It’s quite dangerous for a young lady like you to go around at night, asking strange men to be her friend. Has no one ever told you that?”

“>Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future<,” you quote. “I wonder what's yours.”

A curious smile suddenly appears on Corinthian’s face as though he realized that some things were about to change. It’s hard to say whether he knows how much he is going to change. “Feeling fearless, don’t you?”

“What can I say,” you answer with a disinterested shrug, your hands still shoved deep into the pockets of your coat, “I’ve seen worse. I’ve grown to know the terrors lurking in the dark a little too well to ever be scared of them again. Now come on, I can hear someone walking this way.”

A shy voice interrupts Corinthian’s melancholy. “Excuse me? You knew my grandmother?”

The girl looks to be in her early twenties or late teens if she’s living a stressful life. Judging by the messy hair and bags under her eyes, coming to the cemetery must have come with some hardships. She has a sweatshirt with a logo of a university embroidered on it. There seems to be an orange stain, some sauce without a doubt, on the hem of the pullover.

“Once. At least I’d like to think so.”

She looks at him suspiciously but not necessarily in a bad way - she can tell there’s something utterly exciting about his dishonesty. A thought passes through his head that, in some way, at that moment, she looks exactly like you did that fateful night. “But you look very… young, sir.”

“I eat my greens and use a good SPF.”

Understanding that Corinthian isn’t interested in small talk, she falls silent for now. The two of them are complete strangers suddenly united in grief, despite their respective mourning being so different. They’re together but still so very alone.

“I always liked that quote,” the girl speaks up after a few minutes. Maybe she’s looking for closure in friends of someone she is yet to learn to live without. “It’s very… hopeful. Anyone can be good, all it takes is the right decision. You can always change.”

“It’s a warning,” he states.

The girl scrunches her nose and furrows her eyebrows. “How so?”

“Even the smallest, seemingly insignificant choice can change the direction you’re headed. You can never know what you’re going to become until you become it. And when you do… it’s already too late.”

“Sounds like you’re speaking from experience.”

Corinthian doesn’t answer straight away. For a moment he’s pondering that notion, slowly and painfully accepting that those decades he spent with you changed him forever. “Maybe I am,” he says in a slightly quieter voice.

and therein lies the issue, friends don't try to trick you, get you in the phone and mind twist youuuu!! These two are such reputation vibes and I love it so much 😍 I actually love that song as well, but I don't think many other people do.

Full disclosure, I would have put money on Eddie bringing in the big guns and asking Nancy to bring her back. But its Steve! And he didn't even ask! And it needed to be Steve. This was a great choice. He started the whole thing, it's right that he came full circle with them as well. And then him straight away offering himself as the bad guy and telling her to just fix it, he's so precious.

I like that she doesn't immediately spill every detail to Steve, and even when she does say something, it's not the ins and outs, she keeps their time mostly between them and it's so important. because their entire time knowing eachother has had their group in the background and they need some time of their own that's private. Just like their (hopefully) eventual relationship will be 😊

Him explaining that he had no expectations with his confession, starts getting a bit dramatic in his own head again, and then she's so blunt just shutting him up 🤣 it's gonna be their whole dynamic. And again with the chapstick comment, she's a menace just as much as him. Love it.

And then, yea it's great they're being all smart and sensible and mature and taking some time apart and yepyepyep but the hopeless romantic in me did wonder if she'd go back in, even just for a minute. but then the image of them both batterd and sat staring at the open door, like the end of an action film at the edge of the blast zone or something, that was epic. Scene of the crime. Yellow tape. Do not cross. The works. He's either gonna want to move like yesterday or stay there forever and I can't decide which. Amazing 🖤

Can't wait for Steve's interaction with them face to face, can just see him coming in all Captain America thinking he fully saved the day from his phone call convincing her to go back, and them both just chasing him down the stairs 🤣

p.s. I'm so satisfied finally hearing the other side of Eddie's call with Nancy. I mean, we all had an idea, but still so satisfying 🖤🖤

i am so glad someone else thought of that song!!! when i wrote that line i took a quick break just to sigh deeply because i really can’t escape her 😭 and they are very reputation coded!! since starting i’ve always firmly believed they were very speak now coded in the beginning, and slowly became more reputation coded as their story continued lol (can you imagine a non swiftie reading this like ???? what???) i also very much love that song. it’s so fun and the lines about toasting her friends, baby, and mama are so satisfying to me.

i definitely almost had eddie call nancy first to be completely be honest. but, just between you and me, i think eddie reached out the way he did very strategically. he knew she was upset, dealing with a lot, and he also knew she’s in the groupchat. calling nancy risks jonathan finding out, which risks everyone finding out. he knows that reader is closest with steve, that steve was always going to be the one coming to pick her up at the end, so he called him for her benefit.

and also between you and me, eddie is feeling the same way as reader. he doesn’t want to give up that privacy quite yet. if he called nancy, she’d complete her best friend duties of asking for details, making sure he was okay, etc. and he isn’t okay but he doesn’t want to explain why.

and oh gosh, i’m really glad someone else saw the cinematic vibes of that moment because i was worried people would be like “why are those idiots not going back in” 😭 they’re on neutral ground there, and yes, that apartment is definitely tainted to eddie now, but he’s definitely leaning more towards never moving. especially when it’s not all quite ruined yet. if reader had left and it had all been on bad terms? oh yeah he would have wrecked that place.

and… yeah, steve better watch his back. he gets his karma next hour. (already wrote the scene. poor dude learned his lesson.)

i figured we all knew what went down but.. just for good measure <3 and because it was too cute to have a parallel of the way nancy forced that admission out of eddie in the beginning, and then steve did the same to reader. ultimate wing (wo)men truly
