Ronance Headcanons <3
i love these blorbos i had too
robin loves loves LOVES to give nancy homemade gifts and wildflowers(as shown in the singular oneshot i made)
nancy loves it just as much, even tho she’s not a gift person
nancy gets super protective of robin mostly because of what happened to barb, fred and later max(and to some extent even eddie)
so she’ll almost always have robin by her side, and sometimes even has a hand flat on her arm or back when they’re walking somewhere
robin loves the attention and although she’s deathly afraid of being discovered, she can never say no to Nancy
When Nancy’s tired she’ll get super clingy and pouts whenever Robin isn’t next to her
Robin loves to take care of Nancy despite how independent she is, and the few times she gets to she feels like she’s been blessed by the universe
Along with the fact that their gay, and the fact that they’re somewhat private individuals, most of their dates are picnics in a secluded space or in the safety of one of their houses
Once when they couldn’t have their date night at either of their houses and it was raining outside they went to Steve’s to have a movie night
Horrible idea. They don’t hate Steve by any means, but he would not leave them alone and followed them around like a puppy, commenting about the movie, trying to squeeze himself between them on the couch, etc.
Safe to say they never did that again while Steve was home
Nancy has a really hard time with vulnerability and letting people in, she tends to isolate herself(felt)
So whenever she has a hard time, she’ll try to shut herself in her room and refuse to come out(and when she does, she doesn’t talk to anyone and makes zero expression)
Mike ofc, being the amazing annoying brother he is, notices, and calls Robin because as dense as he is, it’s quite clear to see that Robin and Nancy are all over each other
Robin is over within 15 minutes, breathing heavily from the ride on her bike, knocking at Nancy’s door
Nancy, thinking it’s her brother, stomps to the door and opens it with a scowl on her face, about to tell anyone off
But, as soon as she sees her lovely Robin and not her annoying brother, she instantly deflates with a pout
She can’t help it, the sight of Robin just forces her body to let everything out
So they spend the rest of the night cuddled together on Nancy’s bed, Robin wrapped around Nancy to provide a source of comfort and weight while she cries into Robin’s chest
also i just love the idea of nancy being obsessed with robins smell, whether its a perfume or just her natural scent. nancy loves to tuck into robins neck or chest and just breathe her in

Steve never turns the heater on in his car when he's alone. This is something Eddie picks up on fairly quickly, as summer turns to autumn, as the air cools down. The mornings are icy, now. There's a bite to each and every breath that you can suck in almost like smoke, and it's pleasant for all of two seconds before it chills you to the bone.
The first time he notices it, there's so much noise in the car that Eddie doesn't get a chance to say anything - Dustin is chattering on to Mike about god-knows-what. Instead, he just watches from the passenger seat as Steve clocks Will's chattering teeth in the rearview mirror and immediately reaches forward to crank up the dial.
The second time, it's just Steve and Eddie, and they're driving back from dropping Eddie's van off at the mechanics. Steve meets him outside the shop at a crisp 7am, and it's fucking freezing, honestly. Eddie slides into the passenger seat and winces at the way his breaths come out in a cloud. "Shit, dude," he groans, "aren't you cold?" Steve shrugs, focused on driving. "A bit, I guess. Help yourself." He waves at the AC settings carelessly. How the fuck are you not freezing your balls off? Eddie wonders, but he doesn't voice the thought aloud, though he very much wants to. There's something here, he thinks. There's something I'm not getting.
The third time it happens, Eddie doesn't even need to get in the car to know Steve didn't switch the heating on. He knows this because when Steve saunters into the new trailer, a 6-pack in hand, his lips are almost blue. He's wearing a too-thin jacket, undone over a plain shirt. Eddie frowns. "Jesus Christ, Steve," he murmurs, immediately rushing through to his room to grab a sweater. He throws it at Steve when he gets back out to the main room, chewing at the inside of his cheek. "What's this for?" "Because you're fucking freezing, man. Are you kidding me? You're turning to ice right in front of me, look at you." And it's so wrong that Steve looks so confused. It's so wrong. Because he's so clearly cold as hell. It looks painful, damn it, the way his hands are shaking, the way he can't quite move his fingers properly when he goes to pop the cap off of his beer. I am going to take care of you until you figure out how to take care of yourself, Eddie thinks, fierce and determined. And he does.
When Steve leaves that night, after the movie, Eddie makes him keep the black knit sweater on, makes him take it with him. "You look cute," he grins, aiming for playful, aiming for the misdirect. He likes the way it makes Steve blush, anyway. It's a win-win. Eddie follows close behind Steve down the steps of the trailer, catching the driver's door with a quick hand before it can slam closed. He waits for Steve to start the car before getting to work. "What're you-" Steve begins, falling silent as Eddie leans over him and switches the heating on. "You," he mutters, pulling back, tapping a finger on Steve's forehead. "You keep that on until you get home, you hear me, big boy?" Steve looks bewildered, but nods anyway.
Eddie starts bringing an extra jacket or sweater with him everywhere, after that, and it comes in handy more times than he'd like. He wishes it wasn't the only way to get Steve into his clothes. He buys Steve a hot water bottle with a cover that's the same yellow as that sweater that he loves so much. Eddie gets into the habit of calling Steve each night, and before he hangs up, he tells Steve to fill it up. Tells Steve to use it. He checks Steve's bed one day, pulls back the duvet a bit, and can't help but beam when he sees the hot water bottle tucked there. When he presses a hand to it, it's still warm.
One day, nearing Christmas, now, Eddie slides into the passenger seat of Steve's car, and the heater is already on, car toasty and warm. His cheeks dimple when he sees that Steve is already wearing Eddie's own black knit sweater; His smile only widens further as Steve comments, "Fucking freezing today, man. When did it get so cold?" Eddie just chokes out a laugh and throws the spare jacket he'd brought with him onto the back seat. He has to turn his head to look out the window so Steve can't see the proud tears in his eyes.

Came back wrong Steve, but it’s so subtle it takes them forever to notice.
It doesn’t help that he didn’t actually die. No one assumes you can come back wrong if you never went away.
But after everyone’s healing, and Eddie is definitely back wrong, there’s little things that start to add up.
Like he can see at night way better than ever.
He prefers his steaks rare now, but thinks it’s disgusting when Eddie needs to drink blood.
He had a slight tremor in his hand after the first run in with Vecna, but it’s gone now.
He doesn’t get migraines anymore.
He rarely feels like he actually needs sleep, but he can sleep if he lays down and closes his eyes.
It’s all just shrugged off.
Until they’re downtown shopping, him and Eddie and Robin and Max, looking for some new clothes for Robin’s internship. They’re on the sidewalk talking about which store to try next out of the few options they have, when a car’s tires screech and they hear honking and yelling.
Before anyone realizes what’s happening, Steve’s got the car stopped with his hands.
It was only a foot away from hitting all of them on the sidewalk.
Everyone’s looking at him like he’s grown two heads, including the driver of the car.
He wipes his hands on his pants, waves at the driver, and turns back to his friends and boyfriend.
“I think I’ve got whatever Eddie’s got but in a lower dose,” Steve says with a smile.
———
Later, after the chaos of explaining everything to all the kids and Hopper, who insisted on keeping an eye on him for the next few days, Steve and Eddie are in bed and talking about things that Steve can do that isn’t normal.
“Oh my god.”
“What?” Steve asks, suddenly nervous.
“That’s why you don’t need a break!”
Steve rolled his eyes.
“No seriously! I just thought it was your body’s way of keeping up with me. It’s just that you’re also at least a little inhuman,” Eddie kissed him. “This is great!”
“Is it?”
“Yeah! We can go all night if we want. Actually, we should see if there’s a limit-“
Steve rolled over and ignored Eddie’s rambling, but smiled fondly at the thought of sharing something with him like this.
Tomorrow they could test whatever Eddie wanted, but tonight, he was gonna let himself be grateful that whatever humanity had been lost was replaced with plenty of space to love Eddie and protect his family.

listen i know we all love steve “completely ignorant of queer culture to the point that bisexuality is a surprise” harrington being roasted and educated in turns by robin and eddie, yadda yadda, good stuff. i read “they made a horror version of rocky?” in a fic recently and cackled. also a big fan of “he knew he was bi from the start and just never talked about it” as a trope, love it excellent well done
but what about steve who realizes after starcourt that the most important person in his life now has this thing that’s a major part of her life that he knows nothing about, and what if he fucks it up? what if he says something ignorant or rude by accident, and hurts her? what if he loses her because he didn’t know the right thing to say? what if he can’t keep her safe because he doesn’t know what to look out for? absolutely fucking not, this steve says
and listen she’d never say anything, because she can tell that he can tell how much she likes teasing him and teaching him things, so he plays dumb, and she thinks it’s very sweet. but she notices when the zines she keeps under her bed that she buys at that one secret bookshop in indy when she can sneak away on family trips start going missing, always one at a time, and replaced in a few days with another disappearing. and she finds the new ones he must have gone to buy the weekend she was at her aunt’s house hidden in the back of his closet when she goes to steal one of his sweaters. and she notices when he slips more of her queerer movie recommendations into his personal take home pile rather than the movie night stack when he thinks she’s not looking.
she doesn’t notice when he drives to indianapolis after she tries to explain to him why she can’t just ask out a cute girl, tries to impress on him the fear attached to every moment of attraction that he simply has never had to feel, but later she finds a crumpled receipt from a diner in one of his jacket pockets when she’s looking for his keys, and the address is across the street from the bar the gorgeous woman at the bookstore told her about, the one she memorized the address of but hasn’t worked up the guts to think about visiting, and she knows he must have gone looking for a place like that, must have been trying to understand, must have been scoping it out to make sure it was somewhere she could feel safe, after she told him she never had.
so when eddie nearly pops a blood vessel when they clock each other and she mentions that steve is the only person she’s ever come out to before, her hackles come up. because she gets it, she does, he’s only known king steve until recently, so it makes sense that he would be afraid, be concerned for her safety.
but steve is her person, and no one- no one- has ever made her feel as protected or as cared for as he does. no one has ever tried as hard to understand her, no one has ever put so much work into making her feel safe and seen and loved. and she thinks maybe even if no one else ever does, that’s ok. because she has steve, and more importantly steve has her, and that means no one gets to question his ally credentials in her presence without a dressing down to remember, no matter how well they mean or how recently they helped save the world.
(and maybe she’s not as surprised as she could be when he figures out bisexuality all on his own, because she’s been reading all the same pamphlets he has, after all. and she’s seen the way he looks at eddie, i mean come on. maybe no one else has noticed, but then, nobody knows steve harrington like she does.)

You're tired of hearing about Eddie's crushes, hiding your feelings for him. Sick of feeling second best, you decide to move on.
Beer, a pool, and a very handsome Steve Harrington happens. Eddie isn't so thrilled about the Steve part.
Just a lil two parter to get back into writing
Part one
Eventual Eddie Munson x Reader
Steve Harrington x Reader
Don't copy, reuse or repost my work
❤️
It was a rainy Tuesday when Eddie broke your heart. Unknowingly, but it was broken all the same.
He had came to the Hellfire table in a suspiciously good mood. Beaming smile, eyes shining with happiness.
Turns out he had ran into Jessie who was his newest crush, she was the coolest, most badass babe on the planet according to Eddie.
This had been repeated constantly for the last few weeks and usually you were able to smile politely, pretend you weren't dying inside hearing him talk about his dream girl.
It had been this way for a year now, through multiple crushes, a few hook ups and one near potential girlfriend for Eddie, so you could push yourself to be happy for him one more time right?
No, today it was like your heart finally had enough, a deep ache was building inside you and felt like all the pain was exploding inside of you all at once.
Tears pool in your eyes and you catch the sympathetic look that Dustin throws in your direction. It's enough to sober you up instantly.
You didn't want to constantly pine over Eddie when he didn't want you, it was agony being so completely smitten with someone who noticed every woman but you.
It was like something in you just snapped and you had enough.
"Hey princess, you okay?" Eddie's voice breaks through your reverie and you startle a little as he peers at you intently with his big brown eyes.
His hand is on yours and your whole body feels alight at just his slightest touch, it was getting harder and harder to hide your feelings, Eddie could be extremely perceptive when he wanted to be.
You needed to get over how you felt about him and soon, because you were sick of the constant heartache, second guessing yourself and feeling second best to Eddie's crushes.
Moving on would be a good thing. You couldn't take it if Eddie ever found out how you felt about him, embarrassment burns inside of you just thinking about his reaction, and how awkward Hellfire would be due to his rejection.
No, it was best for everyone if you found a way to get over Eddie.
❤️
Normally you didn't go to parties, especially not parties on a school night. However, there was a small part of you that wanted a change, to have some fun and let loose.
One of Jason's friends was throwing a party at his house, there was beer kegs, wine coolers and the biggest pool you had ever seen in your life.
Eddie was at the party to do his usual dealings, he catches your eye and looks stunned for a brief second.
"What are you doing here sweetheart? Parties aren't usually your thing?" you shrug and grab a bottle of beer.
"Just wanted a change of scenery I guess" it's then you notice that Jessie was also at the party and Eddie had noticed judging by the way his eyes light up.
Your heart sinks and you're about to make an escape until Eddie tugs on your hand.
"Hey, maybe you should stick close to me incase one of Jason's dipshit friends tries anything" you smile, touched at his protectiveness but you know deep down he'd rather be talking to Jessie than trailing after you all night.
"It's okay. I saw Robin by the pool so I'll go and chat to her for a bit" he's about to say something else but Jessie comes over and takes up all of his attention.
Yup, it's definitely your time to leave. There's no way you wanted to be around for Eddie making googly eyes at Jessie.
❤️
Between the pounding music, Eddie and Jessie and the fact you've lost Robin in the crowd, it was safe to say that the first hour of the party was a bust.
By the second hour you had gotten involved in a game of beer pong with Robin, Steve, Vickie and a few others.
At first you were kinda wary hanging out with Steve but you soon found out that he had changed so much from the King Steve of a few years ago.
He's kind, funny and kind, genuinely a good guy and him and Robin are like two peas in a pod. Platonic besties with a capital P she tells you and Vickie.
It's nice hanging out with them because everytime you see Jessie and Eddie together it needled at the ache in your heart.
Eddie joins in at one point but seems tense.
"Why are hanging out with Harrington?'' he hisses under his breath and you scowl.
"He's really nice" Eddie scoffs at this.
"Preppy, rich, douchebag? he's seen dating total babes every few weeks." you stiffen.
"Of course so why would he be seen with me right?" you ask heatedly and his eyes widen.
"That's not what I meant... You're beautiful sweetheart..." yeah but just a friend you finish his sentence in your head.
"Just forget it Eddie, go back to Jessie" you hurry away from him and curse yourself for getting so upset.
Steve notices and asks if you want to hang out in the pool.
It's quieter outside than in the house, people are just lazing around lightly buzzed, lost in their own conversations.
Steve makes you laugh by jumping in the pool fully clothed, he lets out a yell when he hits the water.
"Fuck, its freezing" and you swear you hear Robin calling him a dingus. The thought makes you smile.
"So Munson huh?" Steve asks gently and your smile vanishes.
"Mmm, tonight was my big plan to get over him. Didn't work out so well" There's a brief moment of silence that's broken when Steve takes you by surprise and you're suddenly in the pool beside him, soaking wet and torn between laughter and exasperation.
"Steve!" you huff out and his answering smile tugs at your heart. There's also something you didn't expect, a spark.
He moves closer to you and it's like the two of you are magnets. Steve strokes your cheek and his lips meet yours.
It's nice, it's really really nice and you moan softly as Steve gently tugs at your lower lip, deepens the kiss and pulls you even closer.
Steve pulls away and you both exchange a secret, shy smile at the moment you had.
You kiss him again and this time it's a little more hot and heavy. Only this time when you come apart, you're not alone.
Eddie has just come outside. He's staring at you and Steve, his expression blank but you notice something stirring deep in his eyes, a flash of emotion that you can't place.
Then it's gone and he storms back inside..

Steve is always considered to be the spoiled rich boy of the group, and no one corrects this. They frequently pester him for rides or snacks or movie nights, and Steve always comes through with the best of the best for them, so absolutely everyone in the Party believes that he's this incredibly spoilt only child in a big fancy house, footing the bill for bonding nights because it's the least he can do.
On the first Christmas after Vecna, Steve goes a little overboard getting gifts.
Will gets a premium art kit, high quality paints and new brushes and a few canvases, along with three sketchbooks. The first page of one is covered with a drawing Steve spent weeks perfecting. It looks pretty mediocre, but it's just a cute little picture of Will as his DnD character saving the party from a monster.
Mike gets an electric guitar and amp, along with sheet music to the songs that Mike had been gushing about since meeting Eddie.
Lucas gets a new basketball, a case of New Coke, and tickets to a Pacers game on January 2, 1987. There's two, but Steve insisted that it was for Lucas and Max. He was just the driver.
Dustin makes out like a bandit. He gets a new game console (the NES he had been ranting about for months; Steve has already told Ms. Henderson that it was a gift), a brand new home computer, a full set of haircare products, a new hat, and Steve's house key.
Max gets a fancy dagger. It's beautifully made, inlaid with a starburst-cut emerald, and small enough to fit snugly in her winter boot, so she can feel protected everywhere. She also gets a new skateboard, which is probably her favorite gift.
Eleven gets a thick notebook, half-filled with recipes that Steve's noticed she likes. He promises to teach her how to make them, and how to come up with her own, whenever she wants.
Robin gets about a hundred different little gifts, just trinkets that reminded Steve of her. She also gets a promise that Steve will help her find her own car.
Argyle and Nancy both get less personal gifts; Argyle receives a stack of comfortable, soft sweaters, and Nancy gets a few books written by female reporters.
Jonathan gets another new camera, and enough film to last him until next Christmas.
Joyce gets handmade blankets, soft and fuzzy, and about fifteen different trinkets that Steve insists remind him of her. Every single one of them has to do with motherhood.
Hopper gets a case of beer, a pack of cigarettes, and the deed to the land surrounding his cabin. Steve also promises to help make some additions to the cabin, to make it just as spacious and homey as they need.
Eddie gets a little bit of everything: haircare products, clothes, records, tapes, a new amp, a plastic container full of the cookies he always asks Steve to make him, socks, cigarettes, anything Steve can think of to get him.
Steve doesn't expect anything, and he's not being a self-pitying, spoiled little rich kid convinced that nothing these common folk could get him would be worth it. Steve hadn't received Christmas gifts since he was seven, he knows he's not worth it, and really, he likes seeing how happy everyone is at his gifts; it makes him feel good to see that he can make his family so happy.

how about eddie teasing the reader about squirting until he realizes she never has and makes it a mission to fix that?? bonus points for a clueless eddie also, he’s just really determined to please his partner
author’s note: fair warning i have no idea how this truly works so it may be all wrong lol, but i tried
cw: 18+ (minors dni) teasing eddie, implied cluelessness for both eddie/reader since they’re newly not virgin anymore, established relationship, oral (f receiving), protected sex, intense orgasms/squirting, lmk if i missed anything!
word count: 1.5k
Tumblr media
The topic came up randomly one night when you were stretched out on the couch, legs draped over Eddie’s as he rambled on about his day, endless conversation about his favorite song of the week and what Dustin had done to get under his skin for the umpteenth time. Yet somehow, things always lingered into sex—Eddie couldn’t help it.
“Don’t look at me like that.” You shove Eddie gently, pouting in response to his bereft expression, not believing you for a second.
“Say that again.” Eddie asks, head tilting forward slightly as if it would make him hear better—not that he didn’t hear you loud and clear the first time.
“Eddie, it’s not funny.” You scold him and Eddie laughs, running his hands along the thighs placed over his lap, squeezing gently. “I don’t even think I can.”
“You can.” Eddie says, knowing look on his face.
“And how would you know?” You ask, forcing him to prove whatever point he was trying to make.
“Lover’s intuition.” Eddie shrugs. “Come on, seriously?”
You nod just as fervently, bordering on a deep annoyance that Eddie couldn’t just take you at face value.
“Come on,” He orders, lifting himself up off the couch and slipping his fingers under your palm, pulling you with him. You dig your heels in slightly, adding resistance, “baby—“
Eddie can see the crease in your brow, frustration and bubbling annoyance now obvious. It wasn’t that you didn’t want to do anything, you just didn’t want to disappoint.
“You always say you’re okay with trying new things, right?” Eddie asks, “so, why not this?”
“It’s not gonna work.” Eddie’s used to the stubbornness, using his finger to poke at your cheeks until your lips turn up into a smile, feebly shoving his hands away.
“Look, I’m pretty damn persistent.”
“Yeah, clearly.” You tell him lovingly, letting him drag you along into his room.
Tumblr media
“Feel anything?” Eddie asks with a huff of a breath as he pulls away from your cunt, curls ticking your thighs as you squeezed at him tauntingly.
“Not if you keep stopping every five minutes to ask.” You retort, “—but no, nothing.”
Eddie sighs thoughtfully, not upset or frustrated—just confused.
He wasn’t going to admit it, but he hadn’t done much reading up on it—surprise. He’s also never caused it firsthand, so he was going in blind. It couldn’t have been a myth, he’s heard of it—seen it in those shitty pornos he snuck out of Family Video during Steve’s shift, knowing Steve was too caught up in his own tales of women to care—and outside you, he was clueless.
“Maybe—maybe we do need to have sex.” You tell him, glancing down at him from between your legs, “If you want.”
“You don’t even have to ask.” Eddie laughs, somehow removing his underwear without you noticing, shifting himself between your legs. “Condom?”
“Shit, right—“ You stammer, leaning over at an uncomfortable angle to fetch the small foil package from his bedside, shoving it at his chest, “there.”
Eddie slips the latex on silently, eyes squinted in concentration.
“Um,” You pause, hesitant to add considering how shy you were on the subject, “maybe we could try something.”
“Other than sex?” Eddie asks with wide-eye concern, wondering what else there could possibly be to try.
“No, like—positions.” You tell him.
“Oh. Oh.” He responds quickly, he rubs at your thighs comfortingly, “What do you think will help?”
If it weren’t for you both being so new to all of it, you would’ve felt embarrassed—but you knew Eddie was just as clueless, if not more.
“Just do whatever feels right, I guess.” You suggest, “Trust me, I’ll let you know.”
Eddie grins widely, hooking your legs over his hips as he spreads his thighs wide, “I sure fucking hope so.”
Eddie glides in easily, having worked you up for the last hour with no actual progress toward the goal, but making you feel just as good as you needed, any earlier nerves gone.
“Never gets old,” Eddie says to himself, but it makes you chuckle, heel digging into his back until he falls forward, palms catching himself in the process, “—fuck.”
“Yeah,” You sigh, sharing the sentiment, drowned out by a soft moan as Eddie moves his hips slowly, relishing in the feeling of you around him, in front of him, with him. Not a day goes by where Eddie can believe it, that you chose to be with him—for whatever fucking reason that was. But, he never takes it for granted, “—faster Eddie, you don’t have to be that careful.”
Eddie grins shyly, burying his face into your neck as the movement pushes your hips, changing the angle in a way that has you gasping involuntarily.
He sucks at a tender spot under your collar, pulling your shirt to the side to hide the quickly growing bruise. “Oh fuck, that’s good.” You comment absentmindedly, his hips quickening gradually until they’re a steady sound of skin against skin, grunts and moans mixing together in the heat of it all. But, it’s still not enough.
You say it aloud, eyebrows furrowing in frustration, “I told you it’s impossible.”
Eddie pulls back slightly, his hips slowing for a moment.
“Let me try something?” He asks softly, adjusting the trim of your shirt higher up your stomach before his hands are traveling around the back of your thighs, just under the bend of your knee until they’re settled over his shoulders and—
“Oh,” You comment in shock, feeling Eddie slip deeper than you thought was possible, feeling the tinge in your gut grow stronger, “okay—“
“Jackpot,” Eddie jokes, bottom lip pulled between his teeth as he thrusts without warning and you can’t help but whimper, hand shooting out against his chest for support, “I think we have a winner.”
“Shut up.” You feign annoyance, attempting to keep your composure as Eddie strengthens the pace, thumb rubbing into the soft, sensitive spot of your ankle before leaning his head to the side and pressing a kiss in the same spot—a stark difference to the brutal snap of his hips and it’s impossible to ignore.
He’s never been this deep before, the type of yearn for release that made your body ache, feeling him aim for the spot every time, each thrust gaining more and more precision until you couldn’t hold it together, nodding in response to a question that never comes. Eddie can see the tenseness on your face and his hand comes up wordlessly, rubbing quick circles of your swollen clit until you’re a begging, mumbling mess. His hand fists into the material of your shirt, using it as leverage to force himself deeper inside of you.
“Does it hurt?” Eddie chimes in softly, your eyes squeezed shut in an attempt to focus.
“No, no,” You rush out, “It’s good, so good.”
It only urges Eddie further, teetering on his own orgasm as you squeeze around him without warning, sharp gasp pulled from your chest as you came, shudder running through your body as you felt the gush of liquid and a surprised, “Oh, shit.” from Eddie as he came with you, unable to stave it off.
It’s intense, the orgasm, his finger slowing on your clit as you come back down, only realizing after just how messy it all was.
“Fuck, thank god we put a towel down.” Eddie comments through a breathless chuckle, “It was a big one, huh?”
You nod weakly, tapping at his wrist until he gets the message, lowering your legs back down carefully, muscles aching in protest. Your legs feel like jello, involuntarily shaking as you take a breath, pushing the loose hair away from your face.
Eddie discreetly disposes of the condom in the process, waiting until you’re coherent enough to respond, his hands massaging the tender muscles.
“You made a mess, by the way.” It’s a playful jab, Eddie pulling the towel away gently to wipe at his stomach before cleaning you up just as easily—it’s a small gesture but it makes your heart swell, waiting until he’s finished before grabbing his face in your hands, kissing him fully and soundly. “What was that for?”
“Lover’s intuition, I guess.” You murmur against his lips and Eddie chuckles loudly, pulling back to press a hand against your forehead, shoving the hair away. “You were right.”
“Well, I have no fucking clue how I did it,” Eddie says truthfully, “but I’ll gladly do it again.”
“Oh, definitely.” You grin. “We’re gonna turn you into a pro.”
Eddie takes the task very seriously.

steve won’t stop fidgeting in the drivers seat, fiddling with the signal indicator and volume controls. you feel just about the same, and you’re sure the kids do too, the back seat dead silent, their shoulders touching and all of them refusing to move away from the other.
“you’re shaking,” you whisper, afraid to use too much volume in your voice, like the glass ceiling of the silence will shatter and cut you if you do. you reach out to smooth your hand down steve’s shoulder, a comforting motion you’ve performed countless times before. he flinches at the movement and you hand stops dead in the air.
“m sorry,” he mumbles, voice rough and throat scratchy.
you watch him draw in a deep breath, deeper than you think he’s breathed in three days.
“i’m sorry, sweetheart, i’m sorry,” he says it again, glancing over at you but only for a second, like it hurts to see you.
“it’s okay,” you’re still speaking hushed tones, turning back to find max and lucas sleeping against one another, dustin staring out the window mindlessly.
“we’re almost at nancy’s,” steve swallows, “eddie’s gonna meet us there.” his grip on the steering wheel is too tight and his jaw is clenched. he forces himself to swallow.
“steve…” he lets you touch him this time and you feel a tiny sense of triumph when he relaxes slightly, melts into the feel of your fingertips on the back of his neck. he’s so cold. goosebumps raise on his skin.
“i can’t stop seeing it,” is his response, “the corpse is still in the fucking freezer,” he nearly gasps when he says it, like the mental image itself takes his breath away.
“i know baby, me either,” steve finally looks at you and you regret letting the tears well up in your eyes because his face falls when he notices.
“hey–” he starts but you shake your head and press your fingertips from your other hand into your eyes.
“i’m okay, i promise,”
“but i–” you know what he’s gonna say, something self deprecating about how he wasn’t fast enough, or strong enough, or did a bad job keeping you safe.
“you protected them,” you remind him, breathing a little easier when his eyes flick up to the rearview mirror to look at the kids. safe and sound in the back of the beamer, the heat cranked a little too high but it’s so much nicer than the bone chilling temperatures of the upside down. “and you protected me,” you reach up to push his hair away from his eyes, staying mindful of the cut by his eyebrow.
“we’re okay?” he doesn’t mean for it to be a question but it is. he means to confirm for himself, but really he needs you to do it for him.
“we’re okay,” you nod, and then you say it again.
“we’re okay.”

Cat and Mouse | 1.8K
Eddie Munson x Preacher's Daughter!Reader
*This was a fic I wrote ages ago, and left orphaned. It was a Wheeler!Reader fic. I'm going to consider rewriting it as a more vague reader for inclusivity.
Warnings: Some suggestive language and ideas. Future chapters, if I continue this story, have lots of disturbing ideas about religious subjugation of women and girls.
Cat meets mouse when you see him. All rough edges and open hostility, but you see through it to his soft and sticky center. He is a treat that you want to bite into. A feast for your eyes. You know how to do this thing. How to make him weak in the knees with only a soft blink and tilt of your pretty neck. You brush a finger down, down to your collarbone, as if to brush away a stray hair, showing him where you want his lips to wander. This one will be easy; you think as you watch his glassy eyes follow your fingers.
This game is more than fun for you. It is necessary. It is life giving. It affirms your value in the world. To have a man at your mercy is powerful; you crave it just as you crave the feeling of flesh on flesh. Mouth on neck. Cock in hand. Fingers in your heat with pleasure vibrating down your spine to the tips of your fingers and toes. You know how to please yourself, of course, but to make a man come undone before you is bliss.
                                                                                   **
“Who is that?” Eddie can’t take his eyes from you, head leaned close to Steve’s ear so no one could overhear. He knows what you’re doing, it’s so obvious. In his mind, you might as well take your top off and throw your bra in his face.
“That is Nancy’s cousin. She’s hot, right? She’s also the sweetest person I’ve ever met. The kids love her.” Eddie blinks and tries to see it, any possible resemblance to Nancy or Mike. He can’t make it happen. He tries to think of this girl, this succubus, as a sweetheart that everyone loves. Can Steve not see that you’re playing with him?
“Uh, Steve, are you getting any vibes coming this way from her?” Steve cranes his neck to look back at Eddie in bewilderment. Apparently not is the thought that passes Eddie’s brain before Steve can form the words to reply.
“Uh, no man. No vibes.” His concern turns into frustration after he notices the hunger Eddie has in his eyes while he looks at you. “Listen, don’t. She’s an absolute saintl. Her dad is a minister, she teaches Sunday school for god’s sake. Just don’t even think about it.” With that, Steve heads across the room to pull you away from Nancy and lead you, protectively, outside to sit by the pool with Dustin and Will.
                                                                                   **
Angel my ass. Eddie is the most perceptive person in the party. Sure, he has an impossibly hard time understanding certain social niceties, but he can read body language. He picks up on miniscule facial expressions that give away what a person is really thinking when they’re saying they’re fine, it’s all good, how about that weather, did you catch the sportsball game last night. He knows he’s not wrong about this. Steve, on the other hand, could be as dumb as a rock when it came to those subtleties.
Eddie sidles up next to Nancy and Robin as smoothly as possible, hoping to steer the conversation with delicacy. “Hey, beautiful ladies, how are we doing this gorgeous summer afternoon?” His giant grin is met with dramatic eye rolls from both girls. Delicacy failed.
“Laying it on pretty thick today, Munson.” Nancy wraps her arm around Eddie’s midsection in a gentle squeeze while Robin moves on to join Will and El in the next room. Nancy and Eddie had become thick as thieves in recent months to the absolute bafflement of the rest of the group. Opposites on the surface, yes, but just below the two were kindred spirits. Neither were likely to miss a trick.
“So, I see we have a guest in our midst today.” His eyebrows are raised with his signature grin still plastered on his goofy face. Nancy huffs a laugh and nods, knowingly.
“I see. Yes, she's my cousin. Kinda sorta. Her dad and my mom grew up together in the same church, closer than family. She’s truly, my best friend in the world.” Her eyebrows are quirked back to mirror his and a pinch of warning between. “Were you hoping to join the Bible study she leads on Friday nights?”
His sniggers are what finally breaks Nancy’s serious demeanor. A friendly smack lands on his shoulder. “Listen, Stevie tells me she’s a little innocent angel, but I swear the look she was giving me… It’s like she was eye fu-“ Nancy’s hands are in Eddie’s face to shut him up.
“Nope, don’t tell me.” The annoyed look on Nancy’s face makes Eddie’s guilt rear up. This was not something he should be talking to her about; he’s realized far too late. “Here is what I’ll tell you. Only this, and you never say anything like that to me ever again.” Her finger is pointed directly at Eddie’s nose and there is a flash of warning in her eyes. Eddie nods in assent and waves his hand for her to continue.
“She is the kindest person I know. Generous to a fault. She’s great with kids.” Eddie’s eyes are rolling. Steve has already said all of this to him. “Steve is clueless, like pretty much everyone else. Her parents are super strict, as you can imagine. But, no, she’s not as pristine as they think.”
Nancy can see Eddie gearing up for another question, and Nancy’s hands fly to her ears. “Nope, no more. Figure it out on your own. She’s just a girl, talk to her.” Nancy makes her way to the patio doors and turns back with one last piece of advice, “For gods sake, don’t listen to Steve about anything related to girls. He’s a hammer looking for any nail to pound and doesn’t understand nuance.”
She leaves Eddie giggling to himself and feeling at least a little relieved that he wasn’t imagining things. That angel had clocked him as soon as he walked in the door. The game seemed like it might be fun. And, also, a really stupid thing for him to try to play.
                                                                                   **
The sun reflected off the pool so brightly, you could feel your skin beginning to burn. The first to succumb to the heat were El and Robin with the younger boys following shortly behind. Sweaty clothes are in piles around the pool, everyone seemed to have the same idea to wear their bathing suits to Steve’s. You and Nancy packed suits in a backpack that sat inside the house. A drip of sweat started moving down your nose, and you relented.
“Nance, I’m going to get changed. I can’t sit out here like this anymore.” You leave Steve and Nancy to whatever petty argument they were having at the moment. It isn’t until you’re opening the door to the kitchen that you realize you haven’t seen that hot guy, Eddie, since Steve had whisked you away from your flirtation earlier. That won’t do.
Rounding the corner to the front of the house, you smell it. Naughty boy, you think as you spot him sneaking in the front door. As if a deer in headlights, he freezes, and relaxes when he realizes it’s not one of the younger kids, but you.
“Well, hello there. We haven’t met yet, have we?” Eddie’s eyes are twinkling at you. Pretty man, you think. He pushes himself away from the side of the house, and he starts to move towards you. He’s stalking, that’s the word, stalking, his way into your space as he gives a dramatic bow. On his way back up, he is slowly taking in your form, with no attempt to hide what he’s doing.
You offer your name and your hand and are greeted with a gentle kiss along your knuckles. Oh, this was going to be fun. “I’ve heard so much about you.” Your eyes have gone big, and you flutter your lashes, “Although, I guess most of it can’t be true or Aunt Karen would never let her kids near you.”
The Cheshire Cat had nothing on the grin Eddie was giving you. “Oh, I don’t know, maybe I’ve got her fooled.” Up close, this boy was beautiful. His eyes are chestnut pools rimmed red from the pot smoke that still clings to his skin. The wrinkles at the edges of his smile speak to you about his humor.
“I doubt that very much.” You’re slinking past him on your toes, face turned up towards his own. Your backpack is behind him. With a hand on his arm, you bend down, allowing your Eddie an excellent view of your posterior. “There it is. Are you going to swim with us, Eddie?”
“Uh,” Eddie clears his throat, “I didn’t bring a suit. I’m not much of a swimmer.” There is a slight flush starting at the apple of his cheeks while you stare him down with your doe eyes. You give him an exaggerated frown.
“Oh, Eddie, how sad.” Sitting on the couch, you rustle through the bag to find your suit. *zip* not in that pocket, *zip* not there either, one last *zip* with no luck and you turn your gaze back on the curly haired boy that’s still watching your every movement. “I must have forgotten my suit.” With a big sigh, you add, “If only someone would be willing to run me back to Aunt Karen’s house to get it.”
“Hmm, that’s too bad. Maybe you should go ask Nancy to take you back.” Eddie’s head is tilted at you with a little pout. There was no way he didn’t know what you were doing, but he wasn’t biting. Fine, be that way.
“I don’t want to ruin her fun; her suit is right here.” You hold up her pink suit to emphasize your point. “You’re not planning on swimming; would you be willing to give me a ride?” Eddie can barely contain himself with the looks you’re throwing his way, but this was not a game he would give in to that easily.
“Oh, I don’t know, Angel, I bet your Daddy wouldn’t be too thrilled to hear about you taking a ride with me. Maybe you should just hang out with me in the loungers and while the others swim.” You’re considering your next move, thinking about making him take the bait. You can see how close he is to relenting when the back door swings open with a dramatic clang.
With a scowl on her face, Nancy approaches you with a hand outstretched. “There you are. I was looking for my suit. It’s hotter than hell out there.” She rummages through the bag, pulling out a black and white polka suit in triumph. “Come on, let’s get changed.” She says, nodding in the direction of your pink suit.
A chuckle from Eddie rang through the room, “Cute suit, Angel. Can’t wait to see you in it.” With a wink, he’s heading through the house while your cheeks burn.

i know that it is incredibly normal to NOT post 1-4 posts every day that involve a lot of thinking and creativity. that being said, i'm WORRIED about you bestie!! hope that you're okay xx
separately, bc i feel like when most people write in they have prompts, have any of steve's students weighed in on the hate he's been getting in eddie's comments since they tend to see eddie's videos anyway and come to his defense?
anyway take care of yourself !!
No need to worry!! I’m fine! I left for work early yesterday because I’m preparing for an audit that is quickly consuming my will to be employed. Also, great prompt.
I feel like I say this a lot, but I think you’d have both sides.
Of course some of Steve’s students will see a rude or hateful comment and be like, “Hey, shut up. That’s my teacher and he’s great” because Steve is such a beloved teacher.
I also think that some students would feel protective of him in a sense because Steve is very honest and open about his epilepsy with them and because they see the effects of it on him. They also play an active role in his recovery when he has a seizure at school.
It’s something that Steve would quickly shut down once he knew about it though. He does not want or need his thirteen year old students defending him online and he definitely doesn’t want them engaging with hate comments on his behalf. He uses his serious voice so his students know he really means it.
I think you’d have the opposite effect too.
Some kids are easily influenced and if what you’re seeing is a bunch of videos talking about how your math teacher is actually a jerk who’s mean to your favorite TikToker than maybe you’d believe it. Maybe you start paying attention to the way Steve rubs his eyes before checking a text message or that sometimes he takes a deep breath before responding to a student’s question, and you start interpreting that as him being annoyed.
Whereas I think Steve would definitely notice when a student is being short or rude to him, I don’t think he’d confront the issue. He kinda knows that it ties into the Tiktok thing but if he thinks too long about it, he’s going to go insane. So he doesn’t.
It more or less fades over time. Steve’s a good teacher and it get harder to stay mad over one video calling your teacher an asshole when you’re seeing the contrary five days a week.

Hidden Depths Pt. 2
Part 1
Keith had only stopped in to get his jacket he'd forgotten, he wasn't expecting to see Harrington asleep on the couch in the back room. Even more surprising was Eddie Munson sitting there with Steve's head in his lap.
"You wake him and I will never sell you another dime bag again." Munson threatens in a harsh whisper. Steve wasn’t even scheduled today. What was he doing here?
Keith held his hands up in surrender and carefully inched over to grab his jacket. He knew Eddie was all bark and no bite, kids wouldn’t flock to him the way they did if he was actually cruel. But the memory of the witch hunt stuck with him as it clearly had the metalhead, Eddie had been far more waspish around town unless the dork patrol or Robin or Steve was with him.
“Don’t think we don’t know what you’re doing Keith.” And with those deeply threatening words from Munson he shuts the door to the backroom behind him and breathes out a sigh of relief.
“You didn’t wake him did you?” Robin asks immediately as she waves off her last customer. Ugh so Steve had gotten to her.
“Why do you care about him Robin? He’s a jock, he's everything you and me and even Munson should be against! Why do all of you defend him?!” He finally blurts out.
Robin just gives him this pitying look that causes him to bristle, he was sick of those looks from everyone. He managed multiple of his fathers properties. He was going to learn business at a nice college. He was successful damnit! More so than Steve fucking Harrington who never worked for anything in his life and still everyone flocked to him!
“He saved our lives Keith. No joke, no exaggeration. He was the one protecting Eddie while he was being hunted, carried him out when he almost died in the earthquake.”
“None of that explains why he’s sleeping in the backroom with Munson, who last I checked doesn't work here!”
Robin looks out to the parking lot and he notices a few small piles of litter around, no big deal. Eddie’s van is there but he doesn’t see that gaudy Beemer Steve drives. Still no reason for her to be looking so upset, or for Eddie and Steve to be taking up the breakroom.
“You remember Starcourt burning down right?”
“What of it?” Probably a bit too callus of a response to a tragedy that killed thirty people and exposed their Mayor as a communist sympathizer but he just doesn’t get the point Robin is trying to make.
“Steve and I worked at the mall, we were there when the fire started. He made sure we got out, me and the kids. He had several pieces of debris fall on him getting us out, I thought for sure he was going to die… he almost did. Something like that changes people, changes your opinion of them, it also makes the start of July very uncomfortable for us. So when little shits start lighting off fireworks in the parking lot and aim for Eddie’s van… you can imagine how someone with ptsd might react to that.”
This… was not what Keith expected. He was still waiting for Robin to break, to laugh and say that she was kidding. To smack him in the arm and say that Harrington was just being lazy or hiding out from a crazy ex, but that was a good one right? And then he thought of March, Robin and Steve bruised and beaten after the earthquake. Steve with a scar spanning the entire length of his throat, bandages poking out from the collar or hem of his shirt. Black eyes and broken noses back at school, Hargrove boasting about busting Steve’s face in and Steve weirdly absent from the cafeteria for most of his senior year.
“So he… fainted?” Keith guesses, unable to come up with a less insulting word on the fly.
Robin’s sigh contains mountains of disappointment, Keith feels small under that sound but this time there isn’t the desire to snap back. He’s not sure how to react to her now.
“A panic attack Keith, both of us told you about that.” More Robin threatened to sue for discrimination if he tried to fire Steve again. This was after Keith had gotten on Steve about wearing his sunglasses and Robin ripped into him about Steve having migraines.
“Okay, and?” He didn’t know what panic attacks entailed.
“Your body burns through its reserves of adrenaline in an extreme fight or flight response and once it’s gone you want to sleep for a week because everything aches and you feel like you can’t breathe. You are left completely drained and it can also trigger migraines, sometimes all you can do is sleep it off. Best sleep you can get when you have screaming night terrors, your body just shuts down and nothing but blissful darkness.”
Well, that sounded terrifying. He sighs and fidgets with his jacket.
“Just don’t let me catch Munson in the breakroom again unless he plans on submitting an application.” And with that Keith walks out of the store feeling very wrong footed.

Chapter 4
Chapter 1  / Chapter 2 / Chapter 3
Steve arrived home to Robin anxiously pacing.
“Steve! Oh my God. I thought you died.”
“Robin, I literally talked to you an hour ago.”
“You could’ve died in the last hour!”
He smiled at her dramatics. She had his location the entire time, and she easily could have called him any time in the last hour if she was that worried.
She wrapped him in a hug, which was shocking enough on its own, but Steve couldn’t help his confusion when she also kissed the top of his head.
She held him for over a minute and Steve started to wonder if someone had died and she didn’t know how to tell him face to face.
“Robs?”
“Dingus?”
“Is everything okay?”
“Are you okay?”
Steve realized Eddie had probably told her everything. Oh for fuck sake.
“I am begging you to never bring anything of this up to me ever. Like, even if you think it’s okay to talk about it, assume it isn’t. I am never going to talk about this with you. Not ever. Not even on my deathbed. Not even when I’m drunk.”
“Eddie said you should.”
“I will. With Eddie. Not you.”
Steve turned to walk to his room and ignore Robin for the rest of the day, but he could hear her footsteps following him.
He sighed and turned around.
“I’m fine. Eddie took care of me. I’m going back there tonight so we can talk. I’ll keep my location on and you can check in with both of us, okay Mom?”
“Wait wait wait wait. You’re going back there tonight?” Then, she seemed to remember how he even ended up with Eddie. “WAIT! Your tattoo! Show me!”
Steve could do that much at least. He’d been talking about this tattoo for so long and he was really excited about how it turned out.
Eddie had unwrapped it and done the first round of cleaning and moisturizing, making sure Steve was paying attention so he could do it by himself today.
He hadn’t been able to look away from it for nearly ten minutes, the colors more beautiful after the redness of his irritated skin went away.
He held his wrist out to Robin, unable to keep the smile from his face as she looked at it and smiled up at him.
“He did great with this. Will is gonna flip.”
“I hope he likes it. He has an appointment with me tomorrow so I’ll be able to show him.”
Will was one of his best kids. He never had to actually worry about his future, Will knew exactly what he wanted, got good grades, had nearly perfect attendance, and worked towards his goals without any help from Steve. He’d been through a lot though as a child, and his mom had insisted that he regularly meet with Steve just to talk.
He came to appointments once a week, but him, along with his two best friends Dustin and Mike, would often spend their lunchtime in Steve’s office. They weren’t exactly popular, and bullies targeted them often for their size and their interest in more nerdy things. Steve let them, even though the principal had told him he was setting them up for failure in real life. Steve always said this was real life and feeling safe wasn’t a failure.
But this tattoo would really mean a lot to Will. He hoped so, at least.
“When are you going to Eddie’s?”
“7.”
“Bring protection.”
“Nothing’s gonna happen.”
Robin just gave him a look and walked away.
Nothing was gonna happen. Eddie said so.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
When Steve got to Eddie’s place, he was already home, and…cooking?
“Something smells good.”
Steve made his way into the house, brushing past Eddie and looking around. He hadn’t spent much time noticing things earlier, but now he could.
There was a lot of art on the walls, but none of it looked like what was at the shop. This looked more abstract, with a few random watercolors sprinkled in. He noticed pictures frames along the shelves and bookcase that held more records than books. The coffee table looked cluttered, mostly books and sketches spread out along the top.
The couch was old, but looked comfy, and the armchair in the corner seemed mostly unused. A few hats hung from the corner it was placed in, none of them looking like anything Eddie would wear.
Did he have a roommate? Is that how he could afford a house?
“You can set your stuff in my room if you want. You remember where it is?”
Eddie’s voice being so close behind him startled him, but he immediately relaxed when he felt a hand on his hip.
“I remember.”
Eddie squeezed his hip once before letting him go, walking towards the kitchen instead of following Steve.
Steve took in the pictures hanging up in the hall, but didn’t get a close look at any, already rushing to get back to Eddie so they could talk. Robin had given him another look before he left that said there’d be more than talking happening tonight, but he really trusted Eddie when he said they’d be taking it easy.
He dropped his bag on Eddie’s bed, smiling to himself when he saw that the bed was made.
Eddie didn’t seem like the type of person to make his bed, so maybe he was trying to impress him?
Steve shook the thought away. Nothing is happening tonight. He may not even want you in his bed after you talk.
He made his way back out to the kitchen, where Eddie was closing the oven door and placing a casserole dish of something that smelled like heaven on the stove.
“What did you make?”
“Breakfast casserole.”
“Breakfast? For dinner?”
Eddie smirked. “No laws can hold me down.”
Steve resisted the smile he felt trying to creep onto his face.
Eddie really did a number on his whole “I don’t smile for anyone” exterior.
“What’s in it?”
“Well, normally I do a french toast one that has fruit and maple syrup, but you didn’t seem like the type to enjoy that.”
“Excuse me? That sounds amazing,” Steve crossed his arms across his chest and stared at Eddie.
“We can have that next time.”
Next time, next time, next time.
“This one is hashbrowns, cheese, eggs, and bacon with biscuits as the base.”
“That sounds…heavy.”
“We can eat heavy. We don’t have any physical activity to commit to later.”
Steve couldn’t help it, he started pouting.
A small part of him had hoped that maybe after they talked, something would happen. Not necessarily sex or even subspace, but some making out, maybe some handjobs? Yeah, he’d hoped.
But he recognized the boundaries Eddie was setting, and he respected him for sticking to them, even if he really wished he didn’t.
Eddie poked Steve’s bottom lip playfully.
“No need to pout. If our discussion goes well, maybe next time?”
“Promise?”
“You’re gonna be trouble, aren’t you?”
“I dunno. Am I?”
“And a brat. Noted.”
Steve had never, not even at peak spoiled rich kid, been called a brat. Not even jokingly. He was a little offended, but he could see the hint of a smirk on Eddie’s face letting him know that would be part of their discussion.
“Are we gonna talk during dinner or after?”
“That’s up to you. I’m happy either way, sunshine.”
Steve felt warmth spreading in his chest at the nickname. He’d never been called sunshine either. Being terminally grumpy since your teenage years kind of eliminates that possibility.
“I have some questions so maybe we could start there during dinner?”
Eddie nodded and turned to grab plates and forks for dinner.
“Before you start though, I wanna make sure you know that I will always be honest and do my best to answer your questions, but there are some things I don’t know. I’m not a professional. I’m certainly experienced, but there may be things you want to know that I’ve never done. I don’t want to mislead you, so if there’s stuff you still need to know after this, I have contacts who can probably help.”
Steve felt so out of his depth here. Eddie had fucking contacts for this.
“Stevie? You okay?”
Steve shook himself out of his thoughts. He couldn’t let himself feel nervous about this. Eddie was kind and wanted him to understand and wouldn’t expect anything of him. He could do this.
“Yeah, I’m okay. Sorry. Just feels a little overwhelming.”
Eddie paused mid-scoop and glanced at Steve. He set the serving spoon in the dish and walked the few steps over to Steve, wrapping his arms around him gently and hugging him to his chest.
Steve quickly found his spot, nuzzling against his collarbone like he belonged there.
“That’s why we’re taking this slow, having discussions first. You can’t go into all of it the way you did last night. It’s dangerous.” Eddie rubbed his back slowly and Steve fought back the noises trying to escape from his chest. “I won’t feel comfortable doing anything at all with you until we’re both comfortable, okay?”
Steve nodded against his chest.
Eddie pulled back and tilted his chin up to look at him.
“You have to use your words, sunshine.”
“Okay.”
“You understand what I said?”
“I understand.”
“Good boy.”
Steve couldn’t contain the whine he let out. Jesus Christ, what was happening to him? He’d never been like this. He’d never made that noise before in his life.
“Alright, sunshine. Let’s eat.”
Steve didn’t want to separate from him, but Eddie didn’t go too far. He made sure Steve was right next to him as he grabbed their plates and walked to the table, setting them down next to each other instead of at the chairs across from each other.
“Don’t want you too far,” Eddie said with a fond smile.
Steve hated the way his heart skipped a beat. Eddie was going to send him into cardiac arrest if he kept this up.
But he did his best to ignore it, take a deep breath, and sit down in the chair.
His anxiety was high, and he was worried he may not be able to even eat, but Eddie took a bite and looked at Steve expectantly.
Steve picked up his fork and took a bite.
“Damn, this is good.”
“Thanks, sunshine. It’s hard to fuck this one up, but I’m glad you like it.”
Steve smiled at him and took another bite.
Where to begin?
He knew Eddie would let him lead, acting as more of a guide for the conversation than anything else, but Steve suddenly didn’t know where to begin.
“Um. I guess I kinda wanna start by saying something?”
Eddie nodded, smiling softly at him and showing him that he could be patient with whatever Steve needed to say, even if it took him some time.
“I’m not, like, a virgin. I mean I know when it comes to this stuff I kind of am, but I’ve had a lot of sex. With women and men. I mean, I almost got engaged once. I’m not new to that.” He ignored the amused look on Eddie’s face and continued, though his voice wavered. “And I’ve seen some stuff in porn or whatever. I’m not completely oblivious to how this works.”
“I don’t think you should go off of what you’ve seen in porn.” Eddie cleared his throat. “Sorry to interrupt, I just didn’t want you to think that’s accurate at all. Most vanilla porn isn’t even accurate, let alone any type of BDSM stuff. I don’t want you to think I have a dungeon or something with whips and chains attached to the walls. That isn’t what this is about for me or most anyone, really.”
Steve felt himself flush.
He’d said he wasn’t a virgin, but he’d never talked so openly about sex with anyone. He reminded himself that Eddie was still very much a stranger to him, and this kind of talk is something that close friends or significant others might have.
“What is it about? For you, I mean?”
There. That was a good start. Learning more about what Eddie did might help Steve understand what he was trying to accomplish.
“I mean, for everyone it’s about power and control or submission. But everyone has different ways of accomplishing those things and things they’re comfortable with.” He took another bite and chewed while he seemed to think of his answer. “For me, it’s about being in charge of someone’s release, whether it be sexual or not. Making someone feel good in a way they can’t experience on their own or with someone else. Having the power to know exactly what they need and give it to them or hold back. Find what makes that person tick and use it to make them feel better than ever.”
“That’s what you like? Seeing someone else get off?”
Eddie let out a small chuckle.
“I guess in a simplified way, sure. But that doesn’t always happen. You didn’t get off last night did you?”
“No, but I was dropping apparently.”
“Before that though. You still got to subspace, and you stayed there a while, even though you never got sexual gratification from it. You just felt good. Sometimes feeling good just means a plateau, not a peak and then fall, ya know? I like to help someone maintain that plateau as long as possible.” He took another bite and nudged Steve to do the same. “I love helping someone peak, too. But that isn’t always on the table.”
“What if I want it to be?”
“Getting ahead of yourself, sunshine. How about you have a couple more bites while I talk?”
Steve nodded and took another bite, watching Eddie as he formed his thoughts.
“Sex is obviously a part of this. I won’t say it doesn’t end that way most of the time. But there are parts of this that aren’t sexual at all that are still just as good. Your tattoo wasn’t sexual at all, right?” Steve shook his head. “Exactly. But you got there. Sometimes, it’s more just giving up the control. Some subs don’t even like the sex parts, you know. They like someone to give them rules and tasks to follow and punishments for when they don’t. I have a friend who is a sub who doesn’t even take off his clothes during his sessions. It’s different for everyone and it’s usually trial and error. That’s why safety and trust is such a big part of it.”
Steve felt like his head was spinning.
“Is that why people use safewords?”
“Yeah or the stop light system, or in some cases, just physical signs. That has to be agreed on before you ever go into a scene, even if it's someone you’ve done scenes with before and trust. You may love being spanked until you bruise on Saturday, but end up hating it on Monday if you’re not in the right headspace for it. It’s not just the sub trusting the dom with everything, it’s the dom trusting that the sub will use their safeword if they can’t keep going. Sometimes that’s hard for people to understand. It goes both ways. Both parties have control, just in different ways.”
“You know a lot about this.”
“I’ve been in a few serious relationships with the dynamic and all my friends have been part of the scene for years. What I don’t know firsthand, I’ve heard plenty about.”
“Okay, but what if I do want the sex stuff to be part of it?”
“If you do, then you have to be open about hard limits before you start. You have to have a safeword and use it if things start to go bad. You have to let yourself test the waters, but not jump into them if that makes sense.”
Steve nodded. It did make sense. He was probably jumping the gun a bit, but he felt like maybe he could trust Eddie to find and test his limits.
“So you wouldn’t wanna do that with me?”
“I didn’t say that, Stevie.” Eddie turned to him and placed his hands on his knees, massaging them lightly. “I’m not a jump right into anything kind of guy, even with just plain vanilla sex. But I’m really careful about starting with sex stuff right off the bat. Oh, stop pouting, sunshine. I’m not saying no.”
“But you’re saying no now.”
Steve knew he was still pouting, and maybe being a bit unreasonable. He normally took things slow too, at least when it came to more than random handjobs or blowjobs at the club. It still made him feel like Eddie might not be interested in him the way he was interested in Eddie.
“I’m saying not yet. There’s a difference. I’d love to be able to do that with you. But you need to experience more first.”
“Like what?”
Eddie studied his face for a moment. Steve felt like he could see right through him, which would have alarmed him more if he wasn’t certain that Eddie was going to be able to make him float again.
“You like to be praised.”
It wasn’t a question, but Steve nodded. He’d figured that much out at least.
“That’s a good start. You can be praised for a lot of things. Sometimes just being told to sit still and being told you’re doing good can make a person float, you know.”
Steve didn’t think he could do that. He certainly believed some people could, but he figured it would take a lot more for him.
“I don’t think I can do that.”
“Do you want to try?”
“Now? I thought we weren’t doing anything tonight?”
Steve was suddenly overwhelmed with nerves again. Despite the fact that he’d wanted something to happen when he first got here, he was now wondering why the hell he thought that was a good idea.
“It doesn’t have to be now. But it would certainly be a good start when you’re ready. Simple, non-sexual, easy to safeword out of if you get uncomfortable, unlikely to drop from it. It’s just an idea. You can always say no.”
Steve didn’t want to say no. He was nervous, sure, but he wanted it. He wanted to try. He wanted to make Eddie proud.
“Could we try tonight?”
“If you finish your supper and we talk about a safeword, yes.”
Steve took three more bites and ignored Eddie’s laughter at his clear excitement.
“So, what can we use for a safeword?”
“Up to you, sunshine. Mine is Metallica.”
“Can I use yours?”
Eddie thought about it for a moment.
“For tonight, yes. But you should have your own in the future.”
“Don’t like sharing?”
Steve smirked at Eddie, who rolled his eyes but smiled fondly back at him.
“More like you may not want to keep doing scenes with me and having your own safeword is best.” He got up and brought their plates to the sink while Steve waited patiently in his chair. “You can go sit on the couch. I’ll be there in a couple minutes.”
Steve sat on the couch with his hands folded in his lap, trying to push away any nerves he had over what they were about to do. If all went how he hoped, he’d maybe go to subspace again. Eddie sounded like he could get him there, but he didn’t know exactly what Eddie would have to do.
He didn’t have to wait long.
Eddie came into the room and sat down next to him, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and pulling him into his side.
“Alright. We’re gonna relax for a few minutes first. You’re tense and you won’t be able to just go right into it.”
“Oh. Sorry.”
“Nothing to be sorry for, sunshine. Just let me hold you for a few minutes, okay?”
Steve wanted nothing more than to never leave Eddie’s side, his arm wrapped just tight enough around him so he felt like he couldn’t escape, his body warming him up just enough for comfort.
He didn’t know how long they stayed like that, and he didn’t really care, all he knew was the next time Eddie moved, he had to open his eyes.
“Alright, sunshine. Gonna move you a little so your head is in my lap, okay?”
“Mhm.”
Eddie adjusted him so he was laying with his head in his lap and his legs out along the length of the couch. He had a hand in Steve’s hair, scratching at his scalp gently, while his other hand was tracing circles on his arm.
“Mmmm. ‘S good,” Steve mumbled against Eddie’s thigh as he let his eyes slip closed again.
“Good.” He felt a gentle tug on his hair and his eyes shot open. Eddie was smirking down at him, but went back to gently scratching at his scalp. “Just testing. You remember the safeword?”
“Metallica.”
“Good boy. You use it the second you feel like you have to.”
Steve ignored the flutters in his stomach at being called a good boy again.
It went on like this for a little while, nothing new happening. Steve started to wonder if Eddie understood what the purpose of this was, when he suddenly felt Eddie stop all movement.
He whimpered, then felt Eddie’s hand tug at his hair harder.
“You have to stay quiet, sunshine. Keep being a good boy for me.”
His tone was different. Not quite stern, but not as soft as before either. Steve didn’t have to know him better to know that he should listen to him.
“I’m going to watch a show. You just sit right there for me and look pretty.”
Oh. Jesus Christ.
Steve was already hard. From that? Really Steve?
He managed to stay quiet this time, but he knew the second Eddie touched him again he would moan.
But Eddie didn’t touch him again.
He turned on the tv and casually looked for a channel. When he found one, he watched with his hands by his sides, not even resting against Steve’s skin.
Steve knew this must be part of it or they wouldn’t be doing it, but he felt himself growing frustrated at not getting any attention.
Minutes passed like that. Steve wondered when Eddie would acknowledge him again, but didn’t want to risk saying something.
Then a hand was in his hair, playing with the ends as if Eddie had never stopped.
Steve let out a content sigh and closed his eyes again.
“Being so good for me, sunshine.”
Steve smiled to himself, keeping his eyes closed so he could relax fully against Eddie’s lap.
The noise from the tv turned distant, but the fingers in his hair felt like fire. Or maybe ice. Both? Could be both. They just felt nice.
Steve drifted, not realizing he was going until he was already gone.
Eddie knew the moment it happened’ Steve’s entire body relaxed entirely against him and the couch, and he let out a sigh that could’ve been held in for years with how loud it was. He didn’t open his eyes, but Eddie didn’t need to see them to know they’d be glazed over.
“So perfect, Stevie. Feeling good, huh?”
“Mmm.”
Eddie smiled down at him, even though he wouldn’t see it.
He wouldn’t let him stay down for long, just for the rest of the show.
Not that he was watching the show.
Not when he had Steve in his lap, floating away because of his gentle touches and words.

❤️
Eddie Munson was the sexiest man you had ever met.
He was also the most unattainable, your little crush on him was kept under wraps for most part.
You were the nanny to the sweet boy he had adopted three years ago called Kit and for the first year of your employment Eddie was married.
The marriage was... It was unhappy and hanging on by a thread, it was like Eddie and Ivy barely knew much about each other at all.
Turns out that a three-month relationship and a drunk elopement in Vegas summed up the length of the two of them being together.
When you heard the two of them argue, Eddie trying his best to hide it but Ivy wanting everyone to hear their fights) you would distract Kit, a trip to the park, the zoo or painting in the garden.
You didn't like Ivy one bit, she was rude and demeaning to you if Eddie wasn't around, and threatened to fire you if you talked back or told Eddie.
She called you names and treated Kit like he was an afterthought, knew all about your crush on Eddie and told you he would never date you in a million years. You hated the woman.
Fortunately, Eddie's friend Nancy and her husband Steve had no qualms about informing Eddie what a bitch Ivy was.
For the most part you were strictly professional with Eddie but it was getting harder to maintain that professionalism.
Especially when he started giving signs that he was enamoured with you too.
His divorce from his wife was raging on in the background but it was hard to notice when Eddie gave you long lingering stares, touches that went on for longer than usual.
Even before the divorce, he was gentle and sweet with you, always making sure you were okay, his big brown eyes full of concern.
He was protective of you, when Ivy's barbs had gotten to you badly one time you had decided to date to try and forget Eddie.
For some reason, Eddie disliked your date Tom from the minute they met. His overprotectiveness went into overdrive and he was always super tense when Tom was around.
He wasn't jealous, that was wishful thinking you told yourself, however, you were starting to rethink that.
There was tension in the air that grew stronger and stronger every day and over three weeks ago, it had exploded into a night of mind-blowing sex.
Eddie made the first move and it was the incredible.
Since then the two of you would steal time together, moments in the shower, Eddie sneaking you into his bedroom at night, long hours together if Kit was with Wayne or Steve and Nancy.
Sometimes you would spend hours talking and you found yourself falling even deeper for him, he was soft with you, tender at times and it made you wonder if he felt the same.
He opened up to you about his relationship with Ivy, how it was fine at first but like most of his relationships there was little emotional connections or feelings and it made him feel empty.
The marriage was a drunken mistake but Ivy would blackmail her way into Eddie staying with her.
The divorce finally happening was cathartic for him.
Even though the nights you spent with Eddie were amazing it was little moments, talking all night, learning about each other more, hanging out together with Kit in tow that you enjoyed so much.
It's those nights when you fell even deeper for Eddie.
❤️
Kit was excited, he was happily telling you all about him and Uncle Wayne's big plans for their weekend together.
"Uncle Wayne, says we can have popcorn, hot chocolate and a movie night" He's delighted at this.
When Wayne comes to pick him up he's excitedly talking about which movies they can watch.
Wayne gives you a big smile as Kit rushes over to hug you goodbye and then hurries over to Eddie.
"Daddy, can I take my guitar?" the guitar was a little thing and pride and joy of Kit, he was like his daddy with how much he loved his guitar.
Watching them play together, Eddie patiently teaching his boy how to play was the sweetest thing you had ever seen.
When Kit and Wayne leave it's just you and Eddie and he wastes no time pulling you into his arms and kissing you.
"Fuck, I've been waiting all day to do this" he moans and trails his lips over to your neck.
The worries that you've been feeling fade away as you unbutton his shirt, hands trailing over his lean, muscular arms, his tattoos.
With one more kiss, he takes your hand and leads you upstairs.
❤️
The divorce had been finalised and Ivy had let her self over to the house to pick up the rest of her things.
Seeing her wasn't exactly the highlight of your day but you just wanted to get this over with.
Eddie was at work and you were busy writing for the paper you worked for in your downtime, so you hoped this was over quickly.
The pinched look on her face and sneer was enough to cause the bits of self esteem you built to plummet to the ground.
"Where's the brat?" she snaps and you glare at her, god you despised this woman.
"Kit isn't a brat. He's a wonderful little boy and I pity you that you can't see that. He's napping just now, so keep your voice down"
Ivy smirks. "Aww is the hired help giving orders now? You think you're some big shot because Eddie is fucking you?" she points to the hickey on your neck that your concealer didn't quite cover up.
"Why don't you get your stuff and get out of here" you suggest annoyed.
"Don't worry, I don't want to spend one more second in here. Just telling you a few home truths since your too naive to see it. You're just a convenient fuck to Eddie darling, I mean fucking the nanny? Cliche much?"
The words hurt but you try not to let it show, Ivy is like a shark when it senses blood and she goes in for the kill.
"You're a stupid girl, you think you mean anything more to Eddie? That he won't want to do better? Does he show you off to everyone? Does anyone know about you? No. Because he's embarrassed sweetie. You're a dirty little secret"
Ivy picks up her bag with a smirk on her face.
"Can't tell you how glad I am to get out of this mess" she says as she leaves and you shut the door fuming but with a sinking feeling that she's right.
❤️
You're quiet, too quiet over dinner and Eddie notices this. He also notices when you retire to bed early and barely look his way.
Hiding the fact that you're heartbroken is hard, hiding the fact that you cried yourself to sleep over Ivy's mostly accurate description of you and Eddie is even harder.
You felt like an idiot for hoping Eddie might fall in love with you too and you knew you deserved better than being a dirty little secret.
It's hard to avoid Eddie though because once he's home from work and Kit is in bed avoiding him is impossible.
Hearing him read to Kit, doing different voices and acting out scenes makes you smile. The two of them completely own your heart, you love watching them together.
The ache in your heart grows and you startle out of your thoughts as Eddie comes out of Kit's room.
"You've been avoiding me, sweetheart?" Eddie murmurs and it actually sounds like he's pained by this.
"Why does it bother you? We're just sex, aren't we? You're embarrassed by us and that's why we hide this because it doesn't mean anything to you" you murmur.
Eddie's eyes widen. "Where the hell is this coming from?" you shrug.
"Doesn't matter. It's true isn't it?" Before he can say anything else, Kit asks for some water and you rush downstairs to get him some.
Avoiding the inevitable of Eddie telling you he doesn't feel the same.
❤️❤️
Turns out though that Eddie doesn't want to leave it like that and once you've got Kit water and wished him goodnight, Eddie asks you speak to you.
"Hey, what's going on princess? You've been distant. Just tell me what's wrong please?" your lip wobbles as you remember Ivy's words.
"Ivy came around yesterday to collect her stuff. She was her usual wonderful self, said some things"
Eddie strokes your cheek tenderly, his eyes flashing.
"What things baby?" you rattle off the list of what she said and Eddie grows more and more irate.
"I'm so in love with you sweetheart. How do you not see that? I love you so much, I want my life to be with you" tears roll down your cheeks.
"Ivy said... what she said made me upset, put all those ideas in my head" Eddie swears.
"Bitch, fucking good riddance to her" he growls and gently kisses your forehead.
"She doesn't know anything, I love you, I adore you and in no way am I embarrassed by you. You're warm, funny, sweet, and beautiful. I'm so lucky, Kit and I are so lucky to have you in our life"
The anxiety eases and he sighs contentedly as you kiss.
"And really? You think no one knows? Why do you think Nancy, Steve and Uncle Wayne offer to babysit so much? They adore you. Let's go out to dinner tomorrow yeah? Me, you and Kit, as a family"
A family you beam and he kisses you again.

Sunday morning was usually your lazy day. You and Bucky would lay in bed and just talk about anything and cuddle. He was the most relaxed on Sunday, when you would truly spend time together as a family. A piece of normalcy he had dreamed of since before the war.
This Sunday was unusual. When you finally woke up, Bucky's side of the bed was empty. Normally if that happened it was because one of the kids came in and woke either of you up. Today was different, even though it was still morning the apartment felt lively. Even with the door closed you could hear muffled conversation and giggling. You have an absentminded smile until you remember who is here and why. With a sigh you get up and get ready for the day.
Tumblr media
With the hopes of giving you a few extra minutes of sleep Bucky started by making coffee and waited for Eddie to show up. Soon enough Henry woke up followed by Lottie and Olivia. As the kids played in the living room your family showed up. Eddie helped get coffee served up for the adults while breakfast was started. Sofia and Josh were roped in by the kids to play. It was how families should always act around each other. Bucky could only hope that it would stay like this from now on. For your sake and now the kids. He’d also invited Steve over, knowing you’d like to have your best friend there for moral support.
When you emerged from the bedroom Olivia and Lottie had Steve, Josh and Sofia playing tea party in the living room. Bucky, Eddie, Luke and Molly were in the kitchen fixing breakfast for everyone. Henry had been coloring at the table when he saw you. He stopped what he was doing and ran to hug you. You remembered the conversation you overheard between him and his grandfather so you knew he would want to stay by your side.
“Good morning my sweet boy.” You greet Henry while running your fingers through his long hair.
“Morning mama.”
“What’s going on out here?”
“Just hanging out.” He waves for you to come down to his level and then he cups his mouth with one hand. “I think they’re waiting for you mama.”
“I think so too. Let’s go see what they’re doing.”
You head out to the kitchen first and a cup of coffee is almost immediately in your hand.
“Don’t talk to her until she’s had at least half of the cup.”
“James.” You scold playfully.
“See what I mean.”
“Oh I’ve been at the end of that glare. It ain’t pretty.” Your dad adds, making Luke and Molly chuckle.
Bucky smiles and gets closer before giving you a quick peck on the lips. You knew what he was doing, he was easing you into the environment. Making you feel comfortable even with the situation at hand.
“Mowning mama!” Lottie ran to you and wrapped her arms around your leg. “Mama?” She looks up at you with her beautiful bright blue eyes.
“Yes sweet angel.”
“Josh and Luke mama’s bubbas an Sofia mama’s sissy?”
It seems like they had started explaining the family relationship to Charlotte before you woke up. She was a very curious child which you loved but something told you this was going to be an interesting conversation.
“Yes, Josh and Luke are my brothers and Sofia is my sister.” You answer before taking another sip of your coffee.
“Can habe a sissy mama?”
You choked on your coffee and immediately started coughing. Bucky is at your side in an instant patting your back and taking the cup of coffee away from you. It took you a moment to compose yourself but when you did you noticed everyone laughing. Even Steve, Josh and Sofia had moved to the kitchen to see what was going on.
“Mama is kay?”
“Yes, mama is ok sweet Angel.”
“So can habe sissy?” Lottie’s face is hopeful and while you would like to have a baby, especially with Bucky, you were not ready for that at the moment. You knelt down in order to be at her level.
“Sweet Angel, mama can’t give you a sissy right now.”
“But want sissy to pay wit. Pease mama?”
“I’m sorry sweet Angel. I promise that I’ll let you know when mama and daddy will give you a sister or brother.”
Charlotte just gave you a pout and crossed her arms over her chest. When you pulled her into a hug she didn’t hug you back. You wanted to laugh a bit, you knew it wouldn’t last long but seeing her little face all scrunched up in disapproval was too cute. She wandered away as soon as you let her go and into the arms of Steve. You rolled your eyes and turned back to grab your cup of coffee.
“You ok there?” Bucky asked cautiously.
“Yeah, are you?”
He chuckled and nodded. “If I would have known that’s what they were going to talk about I wouldn’t have left her with the twins and Steve.”
“No shit. But anyways, what are we doing here?”
“Pancakes. It’s just easier than making a bunch of smaller breakfasts. We were about to start making them. Wanna flip?” Bucky asks with a smirk on his face.
“Obviously.”
Soon enough your guests move out of yours and Bucky’s way. Eddie, Luke and Molly watch in stunned silence as you manipulate multiple spatulas to flip the pancakes around while casually making conversation.
“Hello?” You wave a hand in Luke’s face and he snaps out of the trance he seemed to be in.
“You are so cool.”
“I know.”
“What were you saying?” Molly asked as she looked away from the spatulas to you.
“Are you guys planning on having any more kids?”
“We want to. After seeing Olivia and Charlotte together I know Liv would love a sibling. They’ve known each other for a day and they’re attached at the hip.”
“That’s cousins for you.” Luke adds and you meet his eyes. He gives you a soft smile, similar to your dad.
“What’s going to happen between you and mom?”
“Why don’t we have breakfast first and then we’ll talk about that.” Eddie answers as he holds out plates for the pancakes.
From the living room you can hear Lottie greeting ‘Buce’, you and Bucky exchange confused glances as he walks in.
“Good morning everyone. I’m sorry to interrupt.” He says with a shy smile.
“It’s ok, What’s up?”
“The antitoxin is ready. I think it’d be better if you took it before breakfast.”
“Antitoxin?” Your father questioned immediately.
“Yeah, it’s to counteract the toxin Y/N was injected with.”
“Bruce!” Both you and Bucky yelled at the same time making him flinch.
“You were injected with a toxin? When did this happen? How bad was it?”
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know they didn’t know.”
“That makes two of us Banner.” Eddie huffed out.
You swallowed thickly as your dad crossed his arms, he had his classic scowl on his face. One mimicked by Luke.
“You’re on your own with this one, Sugar.” Bucky kissed your cheek and continued plating the breakfast up.
“Ok. I’ll go with Bruce and I’ll explain everything when I come back.”
“Or I’ll go with you and you explain everything.”
“Fine.” You sigh.
Bruce exits first and you follow with your dad and brother right behind you. It felt like you were being taken prisoner. The whole way down to Bruce’s lab was silent and tense. You could feel your dad staring daggers into the back of your head.
“I am so sorry, I thought they knew.” Bruce mutters as you walk into his lab.
“It’s ok, I should have told them.”
“Ok, I’m going to need to take some pictures, blood samples and your vitals before we get started.”
“So what exactly happened?” Luke asks as he and your dad sit on stools nearby.
Bruce grabs a camera and you lift up your shirt so that he can take the pictures he needs. You can hear the sharp breath both Luke and your dad take when they see the scar by your ribs. The color still contrasts extremely against your natural skin tone.
“I was on a mission about six weeks ago. And while I was fighting someone I was injected with a toxin.”
“I thought you were a medic.”
“I am, like 75% of the time. But this wasn’t just a random mission. It was a set up to try and get to me.”
“Why?” Your dad asked. His anger turning into concern.
“Because of the kids.”
“Henry and Lottie?” Luke asked, confused as to what they had to do with anything.
“Yeah and three others.” You sigh. “The kids aren’t from a previous relationship Bucky had. I know you are aware of his past with hydra.” Luke just nods. “Well they used different female agents or prisoners and used Bucky’s DNA to create the next generation of winter soldiers. There were five total. We found Lottie first almost four months ago. Then I found three, they had been murdered and then we found Henry about two and a half months ago.”
“Ok but what does that have to do with you being targeted?”
Bruce moves around you, taking the blood sample and then your vitals silently as he listens to you recount everything that’s happened in the last few months.
“I killed one of the scientists that had been Henry’s handler. That was the night before we came back from our mission and you came up to stay with Charlotte.” You told your dad and he just nodded. “The day of the mission is when we found Henry. I was the one literally carrying him out. They had already programmed him so they tried to have him kill me.”
“I’m sorry, you’ve killed someone and Henry tried to kill you? Is he dangerous?”
“Yes I’ve killed before. No he isn’t dangerous. We were in Wakanda and they helped get rid of the programming. So because I’ve helped with the kids and I’m involved with Bucky hydra tried to kill me.”
“So what happened here? I doubt it just gave you a scar.”
You look at your dad unsure of how much to tell him. What was the point of giving him all of the details if you were sitting right there? If you were ok and were about to receive the antidote.
“There was major blood loss.” Bruce said and you glared at him. He only shrugged. “She had a few minor seizures and she flatlined at least twice. This toxin was made specifically as a way to assassinate someone and no way to find a cure on time. It should have killed her immediately. The reason it didn’t was because of her suit. The compression clothing and Kevlar vest Y/N was wearing didn’t allow the capsule to expand and disintegrate which would have released the toxin quickly. It did when she got home and was undressing to get in the shower. That and the fact that she and Steve are the same blood type saved her life.”
You took a chance to look at your father and he was eerily calm. It was that calm kind of anger. Without saying a word he just got up and walked out.
“Give him a few minutes.” Luke says.
You just nod and let Bruce do what he has to do.
****
The bright lights of Bruce’s were the first things you saw. You groan as you sit up and try to shrug away the hand that was on your back trying to help you.
“Take it easy, Y/N. You fainted.” Bruce said quietly.
“How long was I out?”
“About a minute. The scar is gone though and I’m running some new bloodwork now.”
“Why are you yelling?” You whispered.
“I’m not?”
You looked at Bruce then at your brother. Everything around you looked a lot clearer and brighter. Like high resolution to the max. You could hear the little pitter patter of feet down the hall getting closer.
“Charlotte is about to walk into the lab in 3,2,1.”
Just like you said the double doors opened and Charlotte walked in with a worried expression on her face.
“Mama kay?”
“What are you doing here Lottie?” Luke picked her up so that she could see you better.
She touched her forehead . “Mama seep and habe owies.”
“She saw me fainting in a vision and I think I have the serum.”
Bruce moves to the computer and waits for the analysis to be done.
“You’re right.” Bruce whispers.
“So now you’re a super soldier?”
“You don’t have a full dose of the serum but enough of it to still make a difference. Where Steve would heal in two days from a broken bone you would heal in three or four.”
“What do I do now?”
“First, talk to dad. Then you tell Bucky and then we talk as a family. For now I’ll take this little escape artist back upstairs.” Luke says and you just nod.
“Bye mama.”
“Bye sweet Angel.”

You found your father outside sitting on a bench under a tree. He was still fuming and that anger had never been directed your way. You could hear him muttering to him even when you were a few feet away.
“Dad.” You called softly. His head snaps up to look at you. “Can we talk or do you need some more time?”
Eddie just patted the empty spot beside him. Neither of you said a word. You just sat side by side and watched the world go by.
“I have a plan in place.” You said after a while. He didn’t say anything so you took it as the go ahead. “If I were to die out on or because of a mission. I didn’t want you to remember me broken or bloodied. I have a video recording of what I would like you to know. How much I love you and how much everything you did meant to me. I didn’t tell you about this because I didn’t want you to worry. At least not until we found a cure.”
“You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me kid.”
You were taken aback by his response. Your father was not a person who cursed. He stood up from the bench and paced back and forth.
“You don’t get it, Y/N. All of my life, since we realized you had these abilities, all I wanted to do was protect you. I only want the best for you, you know that.” Eddie says while finally looking at you. “I support you in anything you do. When you told me you got accepted into Shield I was proud but scared. When you told me you were working with Captain America I was terrified. You called me all excited telling me you were now an avenger, I could barely sleep for days with worry. I almost had a heart attack when you told me you were dating Bucky.” You smile at the last part. “I’ve seen you through everything, the one thing I don’t want is for you to not tell me when you’re hurt. I can’t keep you safe, I know that now. But I’d rather be informed of what’s going on with you at the moment than find out after you’re gone. You’re my little girl, had me wrapped around your finger from the moment you were born, I’d be lost without ya kid.”
“Dad…” you were at a loss for words so you got up and hugged him instead.
“It doesn’t matter if you’re 15 or 50. I'm still going to worry about you.”
“I know, I get it now.” You give him a sad smile. “I don’t know if we should talk about mom. It wasn’t pretty.”
“I need to know.”
“Ok, then we’ll talk about it.”
Tumblr media
The living room was relatively quiet. Steve and Bucky had offered to take the kids outside while you spoke but you asked Bucky to stay. Steve gave you a quick hug and kiss to the temple while he tapped on your shoulder a message.
‘You've got this.’
You smiled and watched as he took Henry, Lottie and Olivia with him. Eddie, Luke and Molly sat on the couch while Sofie and Josh took the arm chairs. It left you and Bucky on the love seat. His hand reached out for yours and his thumb moved back and forth in order to provide you some type of comfort.
“So I’m not sure where to start.”
“When did it start?” Eddie asked. You looked at him with a pained expression.
“I don’t remember. The abuse was always part of my life. It only happened when you were out of town for days.”
“What did she do?”
“When I was really little, like three or four, she would lock me up in a closet for hours. She only let me out to use the bathroom twice a day and to eat twice a day. She’d spank me if I had an accident in between those times.”
“That’s why you’re afraid of small enclosed spaces?”
You only nod.
“What else?”
“If I used my powers, even accidentally, she would take whatever I made move and throw it at me. The toaster, the phone, a pair of scissors, cutlery. If it was metal it had been thrown in my direction. Remember the tv that I supposedly broke?” You didn’t wait for an answer.” Well it was a rare occasion where she had me in the living room and there was a jump scare and of course the tv slid back from its normal position. When she saw it she grabbed it and tried to chuck it in my direction. Missed me by a couple of inches if it hadn’t been because Luke pulled me out of the way.”
Eddie’s jaw clenched and he looked over at Luke who just nodded in confirmation.
“Why didn’t you ever tell me, kitten?” The anguish was clear on his face as he thought about you going through what you told him.
“She said that if I told you that I would never see you again. That there were men from the government that would take me and would want to experiment on me. I was terrified.”
“And you, why didn’t you say anything? Or you two?”
“Mom lied to us.” Josh spoke up. “She made us believe Y/N would kill us while we slept. We slept in shifts to make sure she wouldn’t get us. It wasn’t until we got older that we started to realize that it was all a lie but by then Y/N was out of the house.”
“What else?”
No one said anything. There were sniffles coming from you and Molly. Luke, Sofia and Josh just stared at the floor. Bucky had thrown his arm over your shoulder and brought you closer to him.
“WHAT ELSE?” Eddie screamed as he got up and started pacing.
“Ed, why don’t we take a break?” Bucky got up to try and calm him down.
“No, I need to know everything.”
“I know, but you yelling isn’t helping her.” He whispered.
Ed looked over at you trying to hold it together. But he didn’t see you as an adult, he saw that little girl that begged him to not go on work trips. The little girl that clung to him whenever he got back. Your father sat down next to you and wrapped you up in a hug, letting you cry on his shoulder. After you finally calmed down you went on to explain all of the other things your mother had done. Keeping you in the cellar while your siblings had sleepovers, the beatings and degrading words she’d said to you. How you were going through so much stress that you suppressed your powers for a while. Finally you explained how it mostly ended when you were around twelve and you had lifted every single sharp metal object and pointed it in her direction. You stood up for yourself while she was slapping you across the face for something out of your control.
Toward the end it looked as if Eddie would have a heart attack. Guilt ridden and blindsided he gave you one last hug and another apology before he walked out. Josh and Sofia gave you a quick hug and an apology of their own before they followed him, promising to look out for him and to keep you updated on what would eventually happen when they got home. Bucky and Molly excused themselves to go find the kids leaving you alone with Luke.
“I should have done something.” Luke says.”I should have kept you safe.”
“Don’t do that to yourself. We were both kids and our mother manipulated and threatened us.”
“Still, I’m sorry for not protecting you. I’m sorry for everything. Especially when we got older, I should have reached out and apologized sooner, I’ll always regret that.”
“Me too, but at least we can have a new start now.” You give him a sad smile.
“I’d love that. Also I think Olivia and Charlotte wouldn’t give us an option. They were already talking about another sleepover.”
You both smile at the thought of the girls getting along so well. Even Henry was getting love and attention from Olivia.
“I’m proud of you.” Luke says next, taking you by surprise. “You could have hated the world but here you are, full of love to give. Those kids, the avengers and Bucky are lucky to have you.”
“Luke…” words failed you, especially when he sat next to you and wrapped you up in a warm embrace.
“Do you think we could start over?”
“I’d really like that.”
The door slams open and a very angry looking Charlotte walks in the door. She points her little finger at Luke.
“No make mama sad.” She stomps her feet as she walks to get in between you and him. Henry appears next to her, the same angry face as he stands in front of you and Lottie.
Bucky walks in just then with an exasperated look on his face. He raises an eyebrow when Lottie and Henry look at him but Lottie crosses her arms over her chest in defiance.
“Kids I told you that your mom was having an important talk with uncle Luke.” He looks from Luke to you. “I’ve been trying to keep her from coming up here for the last 30 minutes.”
“But make mama sad. No wike it dada.” Lottie argues back.
“Oh sweet Angel, mama isn’t sad. I’m crying because I’m happy.”
Charlotte looks at you confused.
“But mama you’re crying.” Henry speaks up.
“Sometimes people cry because they’re happy.”
“Mama not sad?” Lottie asks, her innocence is precious.
“No, mama is happy.”
Luke chuckles and shakes his head. “I should get going. We’ll talk soon.” He leans in and hugs you then gives Henry a high five and a kiss to the top of Charlotte’s head. “Keep mama safe ok? She’s very special.”
Henry and Lottie nod in agreement.
“Same goes for you.” Luke tells Bucky as they shake hands.
“With my life.”
Luke disappears down the hallway and Bucky closes the door behind him. The wall now has an indent of the door handle from where Lottie slammed the door into it. Shaking his head, Bucky sits next to you.
“How are you doing?”
You contemplated the question before sighing.
“Like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Glad I went to therapy as soon as I was able to.”
Lottie tapped your knee and put her arms up so that you would pick her up. You sat her down so that she was straddling your legs, her little hands fiddling with the necklace Bucky had given you for Mother’s Day.
“You little miss attitude,” you said to Lottie and she looked up at you with wide eyes. “Are you going to come to my rescue any time I’m sad? Are you gonna keep me safe?”
“Mama keep safe an happy,” Lottie puts both her hands on her chest as she speaks about herself. “Keep mama safe an happy.” Then she puts her hands on your chest with a shy smile on her face.
“My sweet girl.”
You kiss her forehead as she leans into your embrace. Henry moves to stand next to you and you pull him into a hug. Eventually Lottie wiggles off your lap and runs off to her room to play, taking Henry with her.
“Are you sure you’re ok?” Bucky asks again.
“I will be, baby.”
Bucky opens his arms and you lean into him, your head resting on his shoulder. You enjoy the silence and the comfort of being in his arms until your phone vibrates in your pocket. Thinking it’s your siblings or even your dad you pull it out.
“Everything ok?” Bucky asks when he sees your expression of confusion.
“Yeah. Actually there’s something you have to know.”
“Ok?”
“You know that cute Bruce created for me?” Bucky just nods. “Well that was Bruce, when he gave me the shot I passed out. Turns out that while I no longer have the toxin in my system I do have the serum.”
Bucky just stares at you for a moment. “I’m sorry what?”
“The antitoxin Bruce created ended up doubling the small amount of serum I had in my system. So I’m like a super soldier now. But where you and Steve are like 100% super soldiers, I’m 75%. At least that’s what Bruce is saying.”
“So you can heal faster?”
“Yeah?” You answer with a question.
Bucky just nods but doesn’t say anything.
“Also don’t tell Steve because when I get the chance I wanna spar with him and kick his ass.” You say making him chuckle.
You stand and offer Bucky your hand, which he takes, and you pull him up easily.
“I’m gonna have to get used to that.” You mutter as you walk back to spend time with the kids.
All you can do is hope that things go back to some sort of normal.

Steve x Eddie Werewolf AU
Part One
Part Two
Steve hadn't intended to be the Alpha werewolf of a capitol P Pack.
Of course, he hadn't planned on discovering an entire hell dimension hiding under Hawkins either so it was safe to say most of his predetermined life plans had gone totally sideways.
Now, as he stood amongst his friends, his family, who were once again gearing up to fight something they shouldn't have too, he couldn't keep his eyes off the odd wolf out.
Except Eddie "the freak" Munson wasn't out of place--and that was the problem.
Steve watched as he tussled with Dustin, the serious edge that had been clinging to the younger boy's shoulders disappearing as Eddie tackled him to the ground, cackling.
It made them look their ages for once.
"Are you thinking about bringing him into the Pack?" Robin asked as she poured more gasoline into a bottle, ever observant.
Steve didn't bother playing dumb. No point, with her. "I was going to offer, yeah. Before we go back into the Upside Down."
Robin hummed softly, setting the bottle aside for a moment.
"Would give him way better protection against Vecna." Steve said, as if that was reason enough to claim Eddie, and not like he hadn't basically adopted the guy since the older wolf stuck a bottle against his throat.
Which in turn had made Steve's own wolf wake up and take notice.
He'd thought he was going to have to fight off the urge to shift, form his hands into claws and  tear into Munson. Instead what he’d gotten was a confusing tangle of approval, admiration and his ever present urge to protect coming out in full force.
It wasn't his fault he'd immediately noticed the sheer fear rolling off Eddie, and how he'd overcome it to fight anyway.
How he trembled as he knelt down, his wolf staring out of his eyes, but never once lost control.
Listened to Dustin, and respected the kid enough to calm down for him, even though the younger boy was really the only person Eddie knew was truly friendly, let alone trustworthy staring him down in that shed.
Then came all the sass, how he lit up when Steve brought him his favorite foods. The dramatic way he'd crooned and hugged Steve, like the act of giving a box of honeycombs was akin to a proposal.
(Of course, for Steve, it was.
One that he and his wolf made together.
An offering of family. Of protection, safety and love.
The decision wasn't just his to make, though and he knew it.
It never had been.
Steve might have been raised by snide, old school Werewolves, born and bred to do things the traditional way, but all tradition had ever done was hurt him in ways he had sworn to never pass on to his own packmates.)
"It would also give him a home with people who know and understand what going through all this does to you." Robin added softly, leaning into Steve's side and putting her head on his shoulder. "I definitely needed that. After Starcourt."
Steve put the bottle he was working on down next to Robin's, then leaned his head atop hers.
"We all did." He agreed.
"Plus he fits in." Steve didn't have to see her face to feel her smirk as Eddie went to pull on Dustin’s underwear, cackling madly as Dustin shrieked and called him a cheater.
 "But you already knew that."
Steve smiled. "The kids love him, yeah."
He got an elbow to the gut for that one.
"Not what I meant dingus, and you know it." She pulled her head back, only so she could look onto Steve's face. "That boys been flirting with you since you brought him beer."
Steve sputtered.
"I've had to bear witness to the Harrington charm before, don't think I didn't see it in action the other day." Robin poked him in the cheek with a finger. "Just because you're a bit more reserved when it comes to flirting with guys doesn't mean I didn't catch it.”
Nancy walked up the hill, coming to sit down next to them as Steve sputtered.
For once she didn't say a thing about how close Robin and Steve were sitting, instead opting to sit on Steve's open side.
"Are we discussing claiming Eddie as part of the Pack?" She asked, causing Robin to give her a delighted grin.
"We are indeed, my extremely smart friend."
"No arguments from you then if I offer?" Steve asked.
He wasn't going to bother asking the kids, he knew what their answer would be.
The decisions were made among the elder pack members anyway, and would be until the kids reached an age were they could make decisions that didn’t constantly end in half of them getting killed, but with Jonathan out of the picture in California it came down just to Nancy and Robin.
Nancy put her head in a hand, watching as Lucas and Erica became involved in the tussle with Eddie and Dustin.
"No." She said, after a moment.
'He's dominant, Nance." Steve warned, because the last thing he needed was to bring Eddie in only for a fight to break out over who would act as the Packs Second in Command.
Nancy smiled, looking gentle as she tucked her legs up underneath her. "If he wants my position he can have it. The kids listen to him better anyway."
“You're sure?” Steve asked. He knew she was, could feel through their bonds that she was, but he had to ask it. Needed to hear the confirmation.
Nancy rolled her eyes at him. “Yes Steve. Now are you going to go get him, or are we going to wait for Vecna to spring something on us? Because for once it would be nice to add a pack member without some kind of threat forcing it.”
Steve rolled his eyes back at her, but quietly agreed.
“Make sure Robin doesn’t blow herself up making molotovs, would you?.” He asked as he stood, dusting grass and dirt off his pants.
Robin flipped him off.
xXx
"Guys, I need to borrow Eddie for a second." Steve called as he approached, mostly to prevent anyone from turning on him at the last second and trying to physically drag him into their game.
"Fine Steve, but I want him back as soon as you're done!" Dustin shouted, releasing his hold on Eddie’s jacket.
The older wolf grinned. "Oh I'm sure Harrington will be gentle."
Steve rolled his eyes, but turned around when Eddie reached him, taking a meandering path back up to the winnebago.
"You can call me Steve, you know." He said as they walked.
Eddie just jostled him with a grin, playfully bouncing on his feet. "Aww, but that's just no fun, Handsome!"
Steve felt a blush burn at the tips of his ears, but kept kept it off his face. "Handsome works fine too."
"So what're we talking about? Is this more Vecna plans? Stuff kiddies ears cannot hear?"
Steve wobbled his hand back and forth. "Yes and no. It'll help with Vecna, but it's…more than that."
Eddie raised an eyebrow at him as the path Steve took them behind the van, well away from the kids and just out of sight of Robin and Nancy.
"Well spit it out man, you're blue balling me here."
"You're not part of a Pack, right?" Steve blurted out. It hadn’t been until this moment that he realized he'd never actually offered this to anyone, having always claimed someone either in an emergency or via the kids being pushy assholes.
Offering a place in a Pack was a big deal, but given the nature of his, Steve felt he earned the ability to say his was beyond special. The people he invited into it were as well, and they deserved to be asked properly.
Eddie deserved to be asked, properly.
The same Eddie who blinked at his question, then laughed.
It wasn’t a nice laugh.
“What do you think? No one wanted me before I was the town murderer, and even if I survive this shit?” He leaned in, like he was sharing a secret. “Absolutely no ones going to want me now.”
Steve frowned at him, startled.
Caught how Eddie’s scent changed right before he got a handle on it, reeling his emotions in before the sadness soaking his words became obvious.
”That’s not--no--right, okay.” Steve huffed, frustrated at himself. “Any Pack would be lucky to have you, Eddie. They’d be stupid to buy the murderer crap.”
Eddie scoffed. “I think you of all people should know anyone would be stupid to take me on.”
“Guess it’s a good thing I’m a dumbass then.” He responded, before mentally kicking himself.
He was fumbling. He knew he was fumbling, and a part of him wanted to groan aloud.
This was not how this was supposed to go. He was getting Dustin to write him a speech, stat.
On second thought, maybe he’d have Nancy write it.
"What?” Eddie asked, but it was flat, the playfulness gone. Now there was apprehension in those big eyes of his, and fumbling or not, proper or not, Steve wasn’t having it.
Not for the guy his kids adored. Not for the one who had leapt into a lake after him to fend off bats, and then complimented him after.
"I'm saying I want-- I'd love to have you in mine."
A pause.
"My uh, my Pack." Steve clarified in the growing silence, like it wasn’t obvious.
Eddie stared at him.
Steve was blowing this. He was absolutely and totally blowing this, and he was going to workshop a whole damn spiel the next time this happened. (Not that he ever wanted to claim anyone else. Damn Pack was already too big.)
"I'm offering to claim you." He added dumbly, when Eddie didn't say anything.
"I'm dominant, Steve." The older wolf deadpanned. "Not enough to gun for your position--and frankly man after seeing your warrior form rip those damn bats in half I don't think anyone in Hawkins is dominant enough to take you--but."
Eddie worked his jaw, looked away. "I'd definitely be a problem for your current rankings."
As if Steve hadn’t already figured that out.
"Nancy has agreed to step down as Second." Steve told him, glad he'd had the forethought to have an answer to a problem for once.
Eddie gave him a disbelieving look. "Nancy, "more guns than sense--and she has a lot of sense" Wheeler agreed to bow out of being the Pack's second? For me?"
"For you." Steve agreed, knowing the implication that Nancy found him worthy to succeed her, would make Eddie blush. "If it helps though I think you're doing her a favor. I worry a lot about the kids and I think she's tired of riding herd on them. She's happy stepping down.”
"All of the power, none of the administrative overhead." Eddie agreed vaguely, fiddling with his rings. His hair swung down to cover part of his face as he stared hard at his hands.
"Which means of course, means you get to help cart around the kids." Steve tried to grin at him, hoping they were getting back onto firmer ground.
"I see how it is, you're bringing me in for my van." Eddie said, as if he hadn't ditched his vehicle halfway in the woods.
His voice was off though.
It wasn’t until Eddie made the mistake of glancing up that Steve saw how wet his eyes were. The tears he was holding back through force of will alone.
"I'm wanted for murder, Steve." Eddie whispered, voice pained. "I can't drag the kids down with me. I can't drag any of you down with me. I'm not worth that."
And oh, fuck that.
One hundred percent fuck that.
"You are absolutely worth it." Steve said fiercely, the hesitant, careful energy gone. Replaced entirely by the protective streak he was known for, the assuredness that had made him a good team captain and a better Alpha werewolf.
"And I hate to break it to you, but you're not even our first fugitive. So unless you can give me a solid excuse, Munson, then I expect you to accept."
That got him.
“You’re serious.” Eddie said, and it wasn’t a question. He stared full on into Steve’s eyes now, a challenge for a werewolf. This though, wasn’t one, and Steve’s wolf didn’t react negatively.
Knew instinctively, that he was being searched for any hint of a lie.
“When it comes to this? To you?” Steve found himself gravitating closer, honesty bleeding through every pore. “I will always be serious.”
A sniff, followed by a quiet huff of laughter as Eddie rubbed his eyes on his sleeve. "Shit, you sure know how to make a guy feel special."
"You are special.” Steve fired back. “That’s why I want you.”
It should have been we, as in we The Pack, want you, but Steve would examine where the “I” came from later.
“If--if you’re sure you won’t regret it…” Eddie trailed off, shyly holding out his hand as his face blushed scarlet.
Steve took it, offering a customary kiss to the hand with bare knuckles before tugging him closer. “I will never regret meeting you, Edward Munson.” Steve told him, eyes rolling gold as his wolf took a mental step forward.
Not to overtake him, but to combine with him, to put the two halves of his souls back together in a way that only the strongest could.
“You would honor us should you accept our offer to be Pack.” That was him and the wolf talking together, the formal way his wolf spoke taking over Steve’s more lax language.
“God you’re unreal.” Eddie choked out, a wobbly smile taking over his face. “Ask me again. Formally and shit.”
Steve grinned.
Formal he could do.
'Thank you asshole parents, for assuming I'd be an Alpha and making me take the etiquette classes.'
Left hand went on Eddie's shoulder, right hand brushed his hair back before going a supportive hold at his waist.
Eddie sucked in a breath, scent mixing both with awe and fear.
Steve's wolf didn't like the former, set about immediately to soothe.
'Mine.' It whispered in their head. Unusual, if only because it usually laid claim with a solid "Ours" but Steve wasn't going to question it.
Vecna had done a number on him, as a Pack leader. He'd earned his wolf being a bit odd for the day.
He opened the door in his h
"Edward Munson," Steve said, knowing his eyes were pulsating gently with wolf gold as he leaned forward to touch foreheads with Eddie.
"We ask you to aid this Pack as one of its members. Defend those bound to you, as they in turn will defend you, so long as you run with us?”
Eddie breathed in shallowly, once.
Twice.
"Yes." He whispered, as if speaking louder would make Steve take the offer back.
Steve pulled on the Pack's Magic, felt it build within him, an invisible pressure that flickered to life as yellow electricity dancing out of his eyes, down his teeth.
He moved to the point where Eddie's neck met his shoulder, fangs extending, long in his mouth.
“Through bite and blood, I claim you as Pack.”
Steve gently kissed the spot once, before sinking his fangs deep. Channeling the magic he’d built deep into Eddie’s skin, directing it instinctively down and around Eddie’s chest. Arks of energy engulfed them both, a vibrant red magic rising to meet Steve’s yellow.
Eddie arched into the contact, but his neck remained in Steve;s mouth, body language submissive.
Magic pulsed like a live wire, growing visible around them in Steve's signature yellow, cackling across his skin to Eddie's and back. The two colors danced together for a moment, weaving and combining, until a bond was forged to the Pack.
The bond finished and Eddie went limp, knees giving out underneath him.
Having been prepared for just that, Steve held him close, before lowing them both to the ground.
Slowly he removed his fangs, the pack magic sealing the wound it left behind, with one long, careful lick.
“I’ve got you." He murmured as Eddie shook violently for a moment, gasping like a drowning man seeking air as the bond settled. “I’ve got you.”
For now, and for as long as Eddie would have him and his Pack.

Prom Date
Summary: Prom is coming and you want nothing more than to go. A certain metalhead goes above and beyond chivalry.
F! Reader Insert,  6111 Words
Warnings:  SMUT! Minors DNI. Y/N is over 18. Eddie is scarred from the Upside Down. I took some liberties and decided Vecna was defeated in this. Making out, smoking, cunnilingus, vaginal penetration, cursing, food mentions, protected sex.
Authors Note:  This has been in the works for ages, and I am unleashing it lol. I never went to prom sooooo this is another self indulgent one lol. Also, I am always looking for inspo, so I will absolutely take requests for one-shots, blurbs, and head canons. If you don’t have an idea and just wanna chat, that’s cool too! I promise I won't bite.
Tumblr media
The complaint you had been making gets caught in your throat, embarrassment heating your cheeks as the conversation you were having with Steve is halted by the bell above the door to Family Video.
It’s the first time it’s gone off since you’d settled in here after school to hang out with your friends. The place was dead enough that the interruption alone would have garnered your glance, but instead your full attention is quickly commanded by the metalhead entering beneath the bell, already grinning as he takes you in at the counter. “Hey Y/N…Steve…Robin.” He nods at each of you as the lot of you greet him back.
Your simple, “Hi Eddie.” is much more reserved than you feel as you ignore the butterflies he causes by approaching, a stack of video tapes tucked under one of the scarred arms that peeks unapologetically from his Black Sabbath t-shirt.
“What are we talking about?” He asks with a small chuckle, to which Robin immediately throws you under the bus.
“Prom.” She supplies in a pained tone, adding, “Y/N doesn’t have a date.”
“Robin!” You complain sharply as Steve gives her a stern look. Her eyes widen, having missed the cue that maybe you wouldn’t want Eddie to know that - to open yourself up for his scrutiny on top of your already miserable desires.
Eddie doesn’t mock you though. He takes one look at you, at the apparent mortification on your face that’s now hidden by your hands, and you can only assume he takes pity on you.
In response to Robin’s words, just loud enough for you to hear, he insists “Go with me.”
As the words register, you drop your hands, your eyes widening before you can help it.
You let out a small, disbelieving sound at Eddie, cringing at the way it comes out like a mutilated laugh. “Doesn’t prom go against your entire belief system?” You mutter, Eddie smiling like you’ve just paid him a compliment.
“Oh absolutely it does...But who am I to turn a blind eye to a damsel in distress?”  He gives a small chuckle, before catching the downtrodden look on your face and quickly scrambling.
“That’s not to say that uh, I wouldn’t enjoy myself. I think…I mean, if it’s with you, I think it could be fun.” There’s a slight smile playing around the edge of his lips.
It would be fun. It would be…everything. And you want him to mean it so desperately that it takes you a moment to notice the way that your delay affects Eddie. The way he fidgets with his hands…Shifts from foot to foot…Could he actually be nervous?
You melt.
“I…I’d really like to go.” You confess, your voice small in the wake of the admittance you hadn’t allowed yourself thus far. Putting yourself out there, only to have Eddie’s answering smile take the breath from your lungs.
“It’s a date then.” He sets his pile of videos on the counter, glancing at your mutual friends. “Take care of this for me, will you Harrington? I gotta go find a tux.”
Steve pulls the tapes towards himself as Eddie starts to walk backwards toward the door, eyes never leaving you even for a moment. “I’ll see you later?” He asks hopefully.
You nod far too readily only for him to grin again and wave, rings glinting in the fluorescent lighting, before he heads out.
As the door closes behind him, Robin gives you a wide eyed look, Steve scanning the returns as he lets out a very casual. “Munson, huh? Now that I wasn’t expecting.”
“Me neither.” You reply, already fretting about making sure that things go perfectly as you pinch yourself that Eddie Munson has really just asked you to prom.
Robin starts talking a mile a minute, having garnered acceptance of the situation much more quickly than your still bewildered state, and Steve lovingly reminds you both to breathe.
It feels far removed from you in that moment and beyond it, as the days leading up to prom seem to accelerate in your anxious state.
Until it’s the night of and finally you head to Steve’s, where his bathroom counter has been taken over by all the beauty products Robin, Robin’s mother, (and Steve,) collectively owned.
While there you’re given the full glamor treatment - makeup, hair, the works.
It’s a great time. Not only do you enjoy this bit of pampering but as they help you get ready, Steve and Robin reminisce about their own memories of prom to your utter delight.
Steve’s is a classic tale - 85’ prom king, underage drinking, and an after party where he and his date went all the way.
“Gag.” Robin interjected, launching into her own unconventional tale. A prom that involved crashing in 84’ after a spiteful makeover and some light property damage.
You laugh along with both your friends and think to yourself that both experiences, while wonderful, were nothing compared to what stood before you - an evening with Eddie.
It was tying you up in knots, the anticipation. The nerves that took what was upcoming and loaded it on top of every interaction you two had shared previously. A perfect storm of wondering if things between you two were moving in the direction you hoped for…If this was more than just  chivalry to him.
You wanted it to be. Cataloging all of the previously stolen glances between you two…the inside jokes…
“Would you stop pacing,” Steve insisted, grabbing you by the shoulders. “It’s gonna be fine! Trust me.”
“Trust you.” You repeated, about to go off on an anxiety-induced spiral of self deprecation before Robin interjected and halted you in your tracks. She said some words - pretty and French. Something about maybe how you looked? Or how Eddie was going to feel when he looked at you? You weren’t sure.
In any case, it helped. You took a deep breath and put a relaxed smile on your face. Robin took the opportunity to snap a Polaroid of the three of you.
This led to a dozen more photos, Steve and Robin posing with you like the parents sending you off. Robin wiped fake tears from her eyes and Steve started in on a fake lecture about boys and how they were no good, and back in his day...
You were still laughing at that when a knock on the door caused you to freeze, nerves supplanting themselves right back in the pit of your stomach as Steve went to let Eddie in, quickly sidestepping so the pair of you could take each other in.
As your gaze landed on Eddie, you couldn’t help but find him impossibly handsome - clean shaven, shiny brown curls falling past his shoulders where he’d managed to find a relatively nice suit to wear.
You were surprised to see a boutonniere in the same color as your dress - your favorite color - beside his lapel. In his still ringed hands he held a plastic container with a matching corsage.
You couldn’t help but to go slack-jawed in awe at the sight, touched beyond measure.
Steve clears his throat behind the pair of you. You hadn’t noticed how long you’d been ogling Eddie - or that he’d been struck just as speechless at the sight of you in your prom dress.
“You look beautiful, Y/N.” He pipes up, the both of you meeting halfway.
“Thank you, Eddie. You look really handsome.” You swear, fondness in your voice.
He beams at you, gingerly holding up the corsage, “Can I?” He asks.
You offer your wrist, Robin and Steve snapping away with the camera. You stick your tongue out at them after giving them a generous moment to get the shot.
They wave you off, forcing the two of you into all kinds of poses that you complain about but know you’ll cherish - physical remnants of the way Eddie holds you tight and smiles like he’s proud to have you.
These and a few group shots, the last of which has Eddie making a classic rockstar pose and Steve faux-flexing, and you two are ushered off the lawn and on your way.
“Not too late now!” Steve teases - Robin's arm is around his waist as she waves you off.
You roll your eyes at both of them, addressing him when you say, “I’ll be sure to do that, mom.” And Eddie laughs as they flip you the bird and disappear into the house to hang out.
“You ready?” Eddie asks sweetly, to which you nod, already heading for his van.
When he sees which way you’re going he gently catches you by the arm, shaking his head. “Your chariot for the evening is actually this way my lady.”
Your confused expression turns to one of surprise as Eddie produces a set of keys from his pocket, jingling them in the general direction of Steve’s BMW.
“Steve said I could borrow her, with some stipulations.” Eddie explained, a bit of a pink tint to the tips of his ears at whatever they were, as he hurried over and opened your door for you before you could ask.
Once you and your dress are situated he shuts you in gently, heading around the front of the vehicle and sliding into the driver’s seat.
“How’d you pull that off?” You ask nonchalantly instead, smoothing your dress down your legs.
Eddie clears his throat, eyes on your ankle and sounding a touch embarrassed as he explains. “I told him that I didn’t want you to show up to your prom in the old grease bucket, smelling like weed…He took pity on me I think.”
He waves it off, but you frown. Not liking the answer, you call his name gently, reassuring him. “I could have rolled up in half a rotting pumpkin and I would still be happy because I’m there with you.”
Feeling bold, you reach out and squeeze his hand reassuringly. You’re planning to let go but Eddie suddenly squeezes back, lacing your fingers together.
“Is-is this okay?” He nods down at the hand he holds, a timid smile on his face. You smile wide in return, promising him, “It’s perfect.”
Not much more needs to be said. He holds your hand the whole ride to the school, a guitar you recognize playing low in the background. Not Steve’s usual station for sure, and you don’t mind at all.
When the two of you arrive, the parking lot is already full - well, as full as it can be with half the town having moved away overnight…Upperclassmen are all around, running free in their fancy attire, having a blast. Cutting lose in a much needed way after the last year of hell.
Paying them no mind, Eddie takes your hand and leads you through the halls of the school, where you flash your tickets at the entry before heading inside the gym.
You smile as you take in the packed space, full of colorful balloons and gossamer streamers hanging, winding, and climbing every available surface.
A cluster of colorfully dressed people jumps, twirls, and writhes in the middle of the floor, creating a cluster of hairspray smell that’s a bit overwhelming.
Eddie takes one look at you under the twinkle lights, and feels his heart skip a beat.
“Hard to believe this is the same room where I’ve spent so much time faking injuries.” You tell him when you meet his gaze, your admittance making him laugh.
“I wish I would have known, I’m notorious for my nosebleeds. I could have kept you supplied with plenty of fake blood.” He taps the side of said nose in emphasis, and you can’t help but think about how well a kiss would fit right there. “Hm” You muse, slight smile on your lips. “I usually go with ‘sprained ankle.’ Guaranteed reading time for the whole period. Doubt a few drops of blood can get you the same result.” “A few drops? I’ll have you know that I have a very serious vitamin K deficiency.” He answers, smirk on his lips. “A nosebleed from me is a guaranteed bloodbath. Coach can’t get me out of here fast enough.”
You bark out a laugh. “You’re a little bit evil, Munson.”
“Maybe.” He grins huge, hand to his heart. “I promise you though, no excuses tonight.” Eddie shakes his hair out. “I am but your humble servant, here to dance to your heart’s desires.”
You raise an eyebrow, but he isn’t joking - he drags you to the makeshift dance floor, where scattered couples give you a wide berth, Eddie never showing whether he minds or not. He moves along to the music blaring throughout the gym, encouraging you to join him. You fold way too fast, inspired to abandon your nerves with the way he’s smiling and looking at you like there’s no one else in the room.
You keep your gaze on him, loving how when he dances it’s in complete confidence - treating each song like a concert he’s putting on for the two of you. It’s silly and uncoordinated and so much fun.
After a sporadic turn around the dance floor to the pop that Eddie loathes, for what feels like ages, the pair of you suddenly grow nervous at the slow song that cuts through - a soulful angelic voice rife with passion, urging lover’s together.
You're surrounded by peers who’ve already fallen into their dates' arms when Eddie holds a hand out.
Head up slightly, you place your hand in his and he doesn’t hesitate to pull you in close, swaying the pair of you from side to side.
The song goes on - romantic and full of promise, and changes the atmosphere entirely. When it ends, Eddie doesn’t seem like he can go back to jumping and bopping around to the hits of today.
Instead he unwraps his arms from around your waist without a word, linking his arm with yours and leading you out the double doors of the cafeteria.
By this point in the night the prom is in full swing, so the concession tables lined up outside just beyond the doors in the senior hallway are nearly abandoned.
There’s one bleary eyed chaperone posted out front to guard the punch, halfheartedly asking if you’re having fun as Eddie pours you a generous cup full.
You nod at her in reply and down the drink, trying not to wince at the taste and give yourself away. Knowing that said chaperone had definitely fallen asleep at the wheel.
The second your back is turned though, you’re pulling a face, and Eddie chuckles at you, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear, his hand lingering there a touch too long. It feels more than friendly.
“I’m really glad you asked me to come.” You blurt before you can help it, immediately hiding behind the pretense of taking another sip of your drink.
Eddie’s eyes grow soft at your words. “I’m really glad you said yes.” He admits.
It takes you by surprise. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.” He moves in a touch closer, looking like he wants to say something.
He clams up though when there’s an apparent shift change at the punch table. A new teacher is taking the place of the old, this one looking at Eddie entirely disapprovingly. Likely traumatized from having him in class at some point.
And Eddie, for all his confidence, seems to shrink. Looks wholly defeated.
You frown, urging him down the hall and away from disapproving eyes. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” He shakes his head, plastering a smile on his face that doesn’t quite meet his eyes. “Got the best girl in Hawkins all to myself, what could be wrong?”
The compliment almost distracts you. “Eddie,” you complain softly, with a small laugh.
He loves the sound of your laugh. Loves seeing you get all flustered. “Alright alright, so to be fair I don’t ‘got’ you - but I did bring you to the prom. Now you’ll never forget me.” He grins.
You want to tell him that he can have you - take you, you’ll be his, but you're not brave enough to make the offer, and so you tease him about the latter part of his statement, “Forget you?” You ask incredulously. “We’ve fought interdimensional monster’s together, Munson. I’m not likely to forget that any time soon.”
“Ah you say that now. But in fifty years? I would have just been that guy with the tattoos who complained the whole time…Now as your senior prom date...I mean, hell, even Wayne remembers his prom date, and the old man likely couldn’t tell you what I made for dinner last night.” He grimaces more than he laughs.
You frown slightly, although you try hard to keep your words light. “You make it sound like you’re going somewhere.”
Eddie rubs the back of his neck. “I’m not going anywhere sweetheart...That’s kind of that point. Girls like you go off, change the world…And guys like me get left behind, wondering what might have been.”
“Eddie.” You frown, not sure where to begin with that. “What are you saying?”
“Just that…I hope you’ll remember me.” He tells you sadly.
“Eddie,” You blurt, a touch too loudly. The other occupant of the hall narrows her eyes, looking like she’s debating intervening. You bite your lip and lower your voice. “Why is it what could have been? Why does…nothing come of it?”
“I didn’t mean to make you upset.” Eddie murmurs quietly. “I shouldn’t have said anything.”
“Oh no, you absolutely should have…because if you’re telling me that you like me…” You shake your head in disbelief. “Eddie, I will never let you go.”
“Y/N…” he protests softly, and he sounds much older than twenty years old. You shake your head, taking his hands in yours, squeezing reassuringly.
“Eddie, I’m not going anywhere, okay? Dr. Brenner asked me to work with him after graduation. Stay in Hawkins where we can try to undo some of the nasty ugly that Vecna unleashed…That being said, wherever I am, stay or go, you do not get to decide that you’re not good enough for me. Not after everything.”
And then, with the backing that Eddie likes you - likes you and for all his doubts wants to be remembered by you, you take a leap.
You lean in, pressing your lips to his firmly, lingering there even when he’s kissed you back, pulled away so now he’s stammering, lips still brushing yours.
“So I-you’re-” Eddie stutters. You nudge his cute nose with your own, expression soft, nerves worked out by the man’s sincerity.
“I like you, Eddie.” You tell him, eyes hopeful. “Is it enough?”
“More than enough.” He breathed. He leaned back in for another kiss, and then another. Only stopping when the nosey chaperone behind the two of you cleared her throat loudly.
He rests his forehead against yours. There’s several comfortable beats of silence as he takes in what’s happened. Then he offers, nervously and quietly, “…you wanna go dance some more?”
You nod eagerly.
The night wears on with more dancing, laughter, and stolen kisses.
When hours have passed and the band is wrapping up, you still don’t want to let Eddie go, holding him tight even as the overhead lights come on in the gym, clean up starting in the echoing silence.
Eddie hums softly, face downtrodden. “I guess…I guess I better get you home.”
“Sure or…” You clear your throat, looking at Eddie from beneath your lashes. “I mean, it’s kind of been implied that I’m spending the night at Robin’s…so uh, no one’s waiting up for me or anything…”
“Oh?” Eddie perks up. “Well uh, Steve is very much back there waiting up for his lady, so…maybe we can get rid of her and spend some more time together?”
You agree readily, letting out a small laugh. “I’d love that…Now let’s hurry, I absolutely cannot be in these shoes any longer.”
Eddie quickly straightens up, holding out an arm. “Say no more.”
He leads you out of the gym, giving a small jerk where you two maintain contact before you can step into the darkened near-empty parking lot.
“What is it?” You ask him, only for him to slip his arm out of your hold, both hands landing on your shoulders before he sinks down to one knee in front of you.
“Give me,” He insists, slapping his upper thigh.
Confused, you raise a foot slowly, only to squeak as he makes quick work of robbing you of the shoe you present him, then the other, the strappy heels held tightly in his hand as he scrambles to his feet.
“Eddie!” You gasp, bare feet on the pavement.
He looks absolutely diabolical as he coos at you, “Don’t worry baby, I don’t expect you to walk.”
Expected instead to sweep you off your feet, making you let out a loud startled sound as he hoists you up and throws you over his shoulder.
“Eddie!” You squeal in protest, face hot as you protest that you're way too heavy for this, only for Eddie to laugh at you and ignore what you think are perfectly valid concerns.
Eddie’s having none of it, strong and steady as he deposits you in Steve’s car, your offending shoes pressed into your hands.
He jogs giddily around the front of the BMW, sliding into the front seat and firing her up.
“You’re a menace.” You whine, attempting to fix what the night of dancing and being carried around has done to your hair.
Eddie laughs at you, reaching out a hand tentatively. You take it firmly, bringing it up to your lips to press a kiss to it. Eddie’s whole demeanor softens, and you do it again. And again.
Eddie only stops you once you get to Steve’s a few minutes later, where he quickly rushes inside, not wanting your mutual friends to come out and intrude on your evening.
A few minutes later and you’re in the front seat of his van, the engine rumbling beneath you as he mentions that he could go for a smoke, and you readily agree.
Rather than take you back to his and Wayne’s place though - newly  assigned by the government after Vecna’s assault - to your surprise he drives the two of you out to Lover’s Lake.
“I still like to come out here sometimes. It’s mostly peaceful now that the whole town is…well, a ghost town.” He explains, nervous as he pulls out some pre-rolled blunts in a little baggie and a box of camels from his dashboard, holding them both up to you as options.
You choose the blunts, and he situates the rejects before glancing behind him nervously. “We uh, we can get in the back and open the doors up if you want? There’s more room.”
Trying and failing to hide your smile, you nod and climb back, Eddie quickly following and popping open the doors, the night air wafting in over the slightly rippling water as he lights up.
“Oh wow.” You tilt your head back and take in the stars and moon hanging overhead. “It’s beautiful.”
“Yeah,” Eddie says absentmindedly, taking a long drag. Breathing out a plume of smoke, eyes only for you. “Beautiful.”
You meet his gaze, and he blushes, coughing slightly. Your hand finds his unoccupied one, and you squeeze.
The two of you are out there for a while, sharing the blunt back and forth until relaxation coats your bones, a lazy smile taking over your lips.
“I’m really glad you asked me to prom.” You grin, repeating your words from earlier.
Eddie merely chuckles, remembering. “I’m really glad you said yes…and that I’m going to see more of you,” he says it like a question, and you’re already nodding, taking your hit.
“I told you, there’s no getting rid of me now.” You laugh. Eddie tilts his head to the side at the sound, long curls falling over his shoulder.
He’s gorgeous like this - in the low light of the moon, with his tie, or rather, his corporate noose of oppression, long since discarded. (He’d kicked it playfully, the big dork.)
All that and a hint of skin showing beyond the top few undone buttons of his shirt…he was lovelier than anything in this whole town.
“You promise?” Eddie asks playfully, two fingers raising the blunt and inhaling a touch sharply - he blinks his eyes at you coyly, but you know there’s real insecurity behind the question.
You brush his hand to the side and kiss him in answer. Slow and sweet, but when Eddie scrambles to abandon the blunt altogether, eager to get both his hands on you, all bets are off.
Bunching up your suddenly constricting prom dress in your hands, you struggle to get closer to Eddie, straddling him as you slip your tongue in his mouth.
Minutes go by like this, the atmosphere growing hot and heavy, until your soft sucking on his earlobe makes him jerk harshly up into you.
“Fuck,” he gasps, trying to pull away, eyes darting down to where your dress is bunched up around your thighs. “Sorry!”
You frown, trying to keep your seat. “Don’t be sorry! …I uh, I was hoping…maybe we could…if you wanted to…”
He groans before shaking out his hair, trying to clear his mind. “Course’ I do, just…we’re in the van.” He emphasized. “S’not how I wanted to do things…”
You plant another kiss on his lips. Tug on his bottom lip with your teeth. “…Please?”
He folds way too fast.
“Fuck, okay. Can’t say no to those eyes.” He shakes his head slightly. Wants to ingrain the smile that takes over your face in his mind forever.
Especially when you reach out for him again, kissing him passionately. “…Gonna take such good care of you.” He practically growls, and you let out a shudder.
“Promise?” You bat your eyes at him, repeating the words that had started this whole thing.
“Shit, I’d do anything for you. You know that don’t you?” He asks, cradling your face in his hands with the utmost care. A nod from you and he smiles, eyes darting over to the van’s front.
“Gimme a sec,” he instructs, leaving you momentarily to fish around under his seat, producing a blanket that he tosses down, spreading it out.
“There we are.” He offers a sheepish grin as you ease yourself into the padding he’s laid out for you, guiding Eddie to situate himself atop you as you lock lips once again.
While you kiss, his growing harness pressing eagerly against you, you work his suit jacket off his shoulders, undoing a few more buttons so he can shuck his shirt off after it.
You're eager to feel any skin you can, sighing contentedly at having him beneath your fingers.
Eddie starts to tense up a bit though, the more that’s revealed, apologies already on his lips.
“Hey, none of that.” You shake your head. “I want you to an embarrassing degree. A few battle scars aren’t going to scare me off.”
“It’s more than a few.” He cleared his throat, offering a tiny smile. “But…okay…”
When you take in the sight of him - bare, scarred, fucking perfect, it’s not at all an exaggeration. And yet you’ve never seen something so beautiful.
The pattern interrupting his porcelain skin exists of of blush pinks and vibrant reds. Reaching across him in some places, splitting in others, every bit of it is a testament to his resilience and heroism.
You hope fate will grant you enough time to memorize them all someday as you tell him, “Very metal.”
“Yeah?” He quirks up a brow, looking a bit more relaxed.
“Hell yeah.” You reply teasingly, and Eddie chuckles before his kiss practically consumes you.
Lips against yours, firm and eager, his hands roam your back that’s currently covered by silky fabric.
He glances down at where it covers you. “It really is a pretty dress…” he tells you, toying with the zipper. “Mind if I take it off?”
“Please.” You gasp.
“Oh.” He lets out a breath through his nose. “Good girl.”
Your head falls back slightly, eyes widening a fraction as he slips the zipper down and moves the fabric down over your arms, past your waist, your legs and ankles, discarding it off to the side.
Laid out before him in nothing but your strapless bra and lacey panties, he groans a little.
“Fuck,” Eddie gasps. “Fuck...you look so damn sexy. I can’t wait to do this again somewhere I can see you properly…”
You giggle beneath him, and he swallows the sound with his kiss. Pulling back slightly and murmuring, asking if he can see more of you.
When you give him permission his lips graze your shoulder, planting little kisses there while his hands work behind you with the clasps of your bra.
When it comes loose, he pulls back and drinks you in, diving in readily.
You gasp when he first takes one of your nipples into his mouth, sucking softly, eagerly.
Noises of ecstacy edge him on as he sucks, nibbles, teases, his hands and tongue and teeth lavishing your breasts with attention until you're shaking, hands buried in his hair.
“Feels so good, Eddie,” you whine.
Eddie grins widely down at you, hand tracing a path up your leg, “…want to taste you.” He breathes.
A nod and he’s between your legs, kneeling on marks left by gnashing teeth, grinning devilishly before he’s dragging his tongue up the center of you that’s still clothed for the moment.
You cry out in surprise and pleasure, back arching off the blanket and he grins, wanting your underwear out of the way now that he’s had some fun with you.
He tugs them down your legs, murmuring all the while how gorgeous you are, his eyes drinking you in once you're finally, completely, naked beneath him.
Then his words of praise get muffled by your inner thighs as he’s kissing and nipping at them, your legs thrown over his shoulders.
Looking up at you through his hair, he slowly dips his tongue into your slit and flicks up, holding your hips down from jolting against him.
His tongue dives in again and again, stroking you to the edge and lapping up everything you give him, as you tangle your hands in his hair and pull.
He moans against you, tilting your hips up further, locking his grip and moving his tongue even quicker.
Eddie can’t help but admire the scene in front of him as he eats you out, tits bouncing as you thrust against his mouth and the fingers he supplies, begging him for more.
You look so good like this, all fucked-out, downright sobbing as Eddie devoured you. When you finally shatter under the sheer force of your orgasm, he nurses it for all its worth.
Eddie pulls back and swipes his tongue across his bottom lip as you catch your breath, admiring you as you come down.
“And so pretty when you cum…” he praises you.
In the aftermath you reach for him blindly, and he crawls atop you on all fours, your mouths crashing together messily.
“Eddie,” you’re begging him. “Eddie, please…” pushing his pants and boxers down and off his hips with your feet, eager and uncoordinated, but he gets the message.
Your eyes take in every inch of him, greedily running over every bit of skin as he kicks the offending fabric away before thinking better of it and turning his pants inside out to try and find his wallet and the condom within it.
There’s relief in his eyes when it turns up, shaking hands slowing him down until he finally just tears into the package with his teeth, unable to take it anymore.
The sight practically causes your lower stomach to spasm.
Then he’s pinching the tip of the condom and rolling it down his length, breathing a sigh of relief.
“Fuck,” He sighs lightly, spreading your legs and lining himself up with you as you smile so hard your nose scrunches up. And holy hell if you aren’t the most perfect thing he’s ever seen.
Especially when he slips inside you finally, your walls tightening against the intrusion and gripping him so seamlessly.
Eddie groans, releasing his hold on himself so he can press your legs down a little further as he inches in.
He cries out an array of explicatives as he watches himself disappear inside you, hearing you moan at the feeling of finally being full.
His hips cant forward, slowly easing in and out until you cry out his name and praises.
Eddie slams into you, driving in over and over, eyes closed tight against the pleasure of it all.
You’re making it so much better as you cry out beneath him, hands roving his body.
“Want you to fall apart on my cock, sweetheart.” He gasps, thumb working rhythmically against your clit, loving the little screams you let out when he plays with it.
With the way he has you on edge, swiping against that little button while he pounds into you hard and deep, just how you’re begging for it, it doesn’t take long at all.
You’re helpless as your walls bear down on him, his movements faltering under the intensity of your second orgasm as it washes over you.
Then he picks his pace right back up, fucking into you where you’re still fluttering around him.
“So. Fucking. Pretty.” He accentuates each word with a harsh thrust. “Fucking knew you would be.” There’s sweat beading up on his forehead, his eyes still fixated on the spot where your bodies met. He sounds absolutely wrecked. Desperate.
“Had a damn near out of body experience when you were swinging that oar around. Fell so damn hard and just…fuck…Fucking knew, knew right then that if I was ever lucky enough to get you underneath me it was gonna be fucking transcendent.”
He drives into you a little harder at that point, and you moan loudly, nails digging into his back.
Eddie hisses slightly, smiling, not a trace of cockiness in his tone as he begs you for reassurance. “Was I wrong, baby?” He asks.
You give a desperate shake of your head. Choking out. “Right. So right, so good. Fuck! Eddie!”
He groans. “Shit, I’m not gonna last. You’re taking me so well.”
Eddie pounds against you harder, thrusts sloppy right up until he cums, spilling into the condom with his head thrown back, pure ecstasy on his face.
With his finish he collapses on top of you, exhausted, sweaty, and so, so satisfied.
You reach up from beneath him, running hands through his long hair, not complaining about his weight at all. Even whining when he quickly realizes and moves to roll off of you.
Eddie chuckles, removing the used condom and discarding it in an empty plastic bag under his passenger seat.
Once that’s back where he found it he settles into the pulling you into his arms, both to appease you, and because he needed it.
He kisses the top of your head as he does so, a laugh shaking his body slightly as he pulls you tighter into him. “Holy fuck.”
You giggle, agreeing wholeheartedly. He leans his forehead against yours. “I can’t believe I got you.” Tasting the way it makes you smile as you murmur the same words back to him.
After more kisses than you can keep track of, Eddie breaks apart from you to ask, “Hey, are you hungry?”
And when you admit you are, the two of you redress, and he takes you to a 24 hour diner a little outside of Hawkins where the two of you gorge yourselves on breakfast food.
You look a bit more like the girl he first fell for, make up long since discarded like it was in the days following him hiding in the boathouse. A light sheen of sweat lingers from what the two of you did in the back of his van, your prom dress is rumpled, and still the smile you offer him - it makes him feel like everything is gonna be alright.
He can’t take his eyes off you. He tells you as much, and with his adoration comes promises made between the two of you over hash browns and maple syrup.
Promises of sticking around, of being enough, and of never forgetting - not because things were unforgettable by proximity - but because how could you, when this was the first of so much to be shared, to be experienced…together.
