I repeat: I do think Wish should’ve had a Blue-Fairy-like wishing Star come go on the adventure with her. Just so that she could “get to know” the Wishing Star, learn that it does care about what happens to her and wants what’s best for her, and then through that personal relationship, come to believe the actual message of most Disney movies, which is:
“Have faith and even more than what you wish for will come true.”
But sure, if you want to go ahead with your crappy “The power to make your wishes come true is in you,” yeah, make the Star a voiceless faceless blob. You don’t need it anyway, right?

Jaskier: Are you alright?
Geralt: My eyes are sweating.
Jaskier: … you’re crying?
Geralt: They. Are. Sweating.
Jaskier: Would you like a hug? To cool them down?
Geralt: … yes please

It has only recently come to my knowledge that ‘Teddy’ can be used as a nickname for Edward and.. yeah. Steve would definitely call Eddie that. And he would be the only one allowed to do so too. If anyone else tried Eddie would reconsider that murder suspect career path again. Only this time he’d be guilty.

Mmmmm it’s hard for me to put into words but I feel the reason why people have such a hard time with this Q!Foolish arc is that it doesn’t really fit easily into most arc/tropes what have you
Is Foolish being manipulated and used? Yes, a lot of Cucoruchos language is very off and clearly intended to pull Foolish in. Foolish also suspected this and wanted to see what would happen anyway because he thought it would be fun (unsure if he means in a meta or character way).
Is Foolish probably in some danger by interacting closely with the Federation meaning it’s harder to pull away? Possibly but I don’t think Foolish is overly concerned about his safety at the moment considering his response to a possible trap for him was to go “Let’s check it out :)”
Is Foolish a neutral/amoral immortal who doesn’t fully grasp the consequences of his actions? Most likely yes given he’s asked twice now if he’s made the wrong choice, but he’s not so amoral that you can say he doesn’t care about Tazercraft or what happens to the other islanders.
There’s no way for Foolish to know about the harsh conditions of the prison or about Tazercrafts traumatic past? Yes, very true, Foolish largely has a positive view on the Federation and likely assumed they would be okay and returned later like Max was BUT ALSO dude had no way of knowing that and you know what they say about assuming. Whether or not he knew Tazercrafts past prior, he doesn’t seem to grasp the seriousness of that trauma when talking about it with Fit
Tazercraft likely would have been arrested anyway? Yeah more than likely and while I do think it’s the Federation setting up a decoy to take the heat from them it’s still a dick move on Foolish’s part
Foolish has been completely honest? Foolish has been pretty upfront with most information BUT he is also lying about doing it to keep Richarlyson safe and has been keeping the fact it was Cucorucho that hired him a secret. So yes, Foolish isn’t a complete liar but he has lied because he knows the true answer wouldn’t be satisfying to the others
But he can’t tell the others? As far as I have seen Foolish was never threatened or sworn to secrecy, you might say he’s doing it because he does genuinely believe the Federation doesn’t want him to tell but it’s also just as likely Foolish just knows people would be even angrier with him if they did know the truth
TLDR: basically Foolish is very weird in his arc because it’s not a complete villain arc (or at least my understanding of one) but his actions are also not good either but also Q!Foolish could have a very different view of what’s happening due to his immortality but also that doesn’t change that he hurt Tazercraft but also he does care about them but also he’s a silly guy

stans always say that antis moralize shit too much, bringing up concerns about the ic’s actions when it’s “not that serious”, but these are also the same people who will cry about how terrible tamlin and nesta are because he locked feyre in a house and nesta let feyre hunt.
meanwhile, feyre’s destabilized an entire fucking court and felt proud of that — which is not only a war crime, but caused the invasions of summer and actively contributed to the fall of the wall because she made the utterly dumb decision to destabilize the ONE court keeping hybern from his goal.
rhys terrorizes the vast majority of his court like the dictator he claims is jUsT aN aCt. he legit sold them all out to amarantha, letting her torture them so he could protect one freaking city that was already hidden from her view. he groped and debased feyre utm, and he twisted her broken arm and forced her into a deal with him. he is constantly lording his power over others, especially the other high lords, which is just freaking pathetic. he’s got no damn respect for others, clearly shown from his insistence on taking the book from tarquin instead of asking. not to mention that whole pregnancy subplot in acosf.
don’t even get me started on the rest of the inner circle. like, you wanna like them? sure, i don’t give af. im not gonna go around calling you an abuse apologist for liking rhysand. but don’t sit here and say we’re unnecessarily moralizing shit in a book about murderous faeries when, in the same vein, the author herself (and a lot of stans) legit does the exact same thing. like there is no world in which maas can stuff a moral scale into these books and not be a hypocrite without it being anything beyond the characters’ own spite. but guess what? SHE DOES IT ANYWAY.
so yes im going to keep talking about how terrible rhys is as a character. yes im going to keep talking about how much the ic sucks. and 80% of the time, idec when characters are horrible people, but when the author herself and the freaking fandom sit there and say with their full chest that they’ve done nothing wrong, that’s when im like ???no??? ESPECIALLY when they call other people abuse apologists for liking characters they constantly try to moralize like no just no.
so keep your stupid contradictory morality in these books idc, but it means that i am going to judge the absolute unapologetic fuck out of your favs.

i am on a ROLL with the posting today
Evil Gort moment. thinking about him deciding Tae’s safeword and. of course. making it a word he would never want to say. “Compromise”, he’d call it. and he would immediately stop if he did safeword because just hearing that break in Aeryn’s resolve would fucking elate him. and he’d be oh so sickeningly sweet after. all gentle praise and fake apologies 🥰
If there is one aspect of Gortash’s uhh. whole deal with Aeryn that I had to pick as my favourite it’s his sickening sweetness. Like honey and lemon when you have a cold but you got the ratios wrong and it’s disgusting. but you drink it all down anyway for momentary relief….

Do you write for the Tarn and the DJD? Like they're pretty intensely evil and I'm prety sure you could mage a good argument that some of them, Tarn and Koan, are cannonicaly yanderes. It occurred to ask for clarification because I saw some of your will not write characters and DJD kinda fit that vibe.
I’ve written for Tarn before, and a few of the other members, I think, so I’d be fine with writing the DJD- except for Helex and Tesarus- there’s just not much for those two in the comics, at least to me, even if I like Helex. And ig Nickel, too... I just wouldn’t know how to write for her.
So, if anyone ever requests for the DJD, only Tarn, Kaon, & Vos can be requested out of the group- unless i eventually decide to write the others.
