Yes, I love Dolphins, and the fact that my favorite female character has literally a Saint Seiya attack in Final Heaven, but there’s something so charming about seeing her grabbing giant monsters and throwing them from a wide camera angle.

Aerith kneels to kiss Tifa’s bloody knuckles as the fighter takes a breather. The thugs that tried to mug them piled up in the alley entrance.

“Thanks for protecting me,” says Aerith, her smile, radiant. It was like Tifa didn’t stop to think as soon as she had been threatened, and that meant so much to Aerith. “I appreciate it.”

“You’re safe then, that’s good. I don’t think I could live with myself if they hurt you,” replies Tifa, letting out a breath. Despite knowing that Aerith would have been more than strong enough to handle herself it was reassuring.

aerith is a character whos main thing is that even though she suffered her whole life and was often alone and isolated for most of it she still shows nothing but kindness to the people around her and to the ones that she loves and literally the last thing she does before she dies is pray that her loved ones are kept safe. but then all of her fans seem to be awful people for some reason

#aerith is still my fav ff7 character but seeing all of this hate towards tifa on a daily basis is pissing me off....

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Daily Free Draws Part 1

Every day, you get 1 free single draw on the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (FFRK) mobile game. The banner you can do this on is extremely bloated though. 

It has basically all the relics on this game and the rates are absolute trash and there are no guarantees so, more often than not, you’re gonna get nothing more than a bronze item.

It’s really freaking rare to get a disco orb, much less a rainbow orb. And getting a 7-star item from the daily draw might as well be nothing more than a dream. It’s like you’re really gonna need a miracle if you wanna get something good here.

Doing this free single pull is part of the dailies in Final Fantasy Record Keeper (#ad). It’s part of the daily missions to do this pull and that’s really the main reason why I bother to do it. 

Sure, I’ve gotten a rainbow orb and even a disco orb before but that’s few and far between. It’s so rare that it might as well be nonexistent.

So imagine my surprise when, one day, I do the daily free draw and I actually ended up getting a disco orb.

Tried not to be too hopeful, telling myself that this was likely gonna be a dupe or, even if it’s new, it was probably just gonna be nothing more than a Glint+ Soul Break (G+) or something.

Then, lo and behold, it turned out that I actually ended up getting an Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB). 

Just got Kelger Vlondett’s (from Final Fantasy V) AASB, True Lupine Attack. It deals physical earth damage. 

This is my first relic for him but at least it’s an Awakening so he isn’t unusable as opposed to getting, say, his Glint or Glint+, both of which are useless if I have nothing else for him.

It looks like I can actually Lens most of Kelger’s relics except for his Arcane Overstrike Soul Break (AOSB) and his AASB. Don’t want to do it though since it’s not like I’m using him right now anyway. 

Haven’t even leveled him up. Yeah, he’s stuck at level 1 for now. He’s probably gonna make my physical earth team though unless I get more and better earth tech.

Much, much later, another disco orb showed up in one of my daily free single draws. It turned into this staff. 

It revealed itself to be Tellah’s (from Final Fantasy IV) Elder Staff (IV), a 6-star relic that contains his Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB), Sage’s Revelation. It deals magical earth damage.

It was a pleasant surprise to get something good from the daily free draw but I’m not sure how helpful this will be to me. Could always use more magical earth tech but, IIRC, this is my first BDL relic for Tellah. 

I think the only other Soul Break I have for him is one of his Ultras. So I don’t really see him making my magical earth team with just this since I already have pretty decent magical earth relics.

Another one of my daily free draws gave me a rainbow orb which turned into Tifa Lockhart’s (from Final Fantasy VII) Legend Materia Relic (LMR), First-Class Fighter. It’s new, and I actually have a few of her relics so this is pretty useful.

Another daily free draw gave me Nine’s (from Final Fantasy Type-0) Legend Materia Relic, Dizzying Leap. It’s new but, IIRC, the only relic I have for Nine is his Ultra Soul Break (USB) so meh. 

Don’t see myself using him unless I luck into better relics for him like his Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB) and Synchro Arcane Soul Break (SASB).

Another daily free draw gave me Auron’s (from Final Fantasy X) Glint Soul Break (G), Guardian’s Grit. It’s new, and I have a few of Auron’s relics, including his Sync and AASB, but don’t think this is useful at all.

Glints cost 1 bar to use so Glint+ Soul Breaks are better since the latter doesn’t require any gauges to cast. Rather than wasting your Soul Break bars using a Glint, you’re better off waiting until you have enough to activate an Awakening or Sync or something.

Another daily free draw gave me Delita Heiral’s (from Final Fantasy Tactics) Unique Soul Break, Counter Tackle. Unique Soul Breaks only cost 1 bar to be able to cast.

Surprisingly, the effects of this one are pretty good. Actually have a few of Delita’s relics, including his Sync and Awakening, so I don’t think he’ll have time to cast this one.

Another daily free draw gave me Oerba Dia Vanille’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) Legend Materia Relic (LMR), Constant Companion. It’s new but meh. Doesn’t really seem that good or that important.

Only have 1 of Vanille’s Ultra Soul Breaks and 1 of her Glint+ Soul Breaks so I don’t really use her for super hard content. I do wish I could get her Sync and Awakening though.

Another day, got a rainbow orb from my daily free draw. It turned into Gilgamesh’s (from Final Fantasy V) Burst Soul Break (BSB), Gilgamesh Scorching Time.

AFAIK, the only other relic I have for Gilgamesh is his physical fire Chain Soul Break (CSB). 

But ever since I got Balthier’s (Ffamran mied Bunansa from Final Fantasy XII) Chain, I stopped using Gilgamesh because Balthier’s Chain is way better. 

BSBs are really outdated by now so getting this isn’t making me want to use Gilgamesh anytime soon.

Another daily free draw gave me Jecht’s (from Final Fantasy X) BSB, Wound Up. Meh. Wish I could get something more useful from these draws. 

Feels like if I’m not getting trash, then I’m getting outdated 5-star relics. Can’t even remember the last time I ever got a disco orb from one of these pulls. And pretty sure I’ve never ever gotten a 7-star.

Another daily free draw gave me Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca’s (from Final Fantasy XII) Legend Materia Relic (LMR), Chosen Future. It’s new but meh. 

AFAIK, the only thing I have for Ashe is her True Arcane Soul Break (TASB) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break (ADSB), which is good but utterly useless if I don’t have at least her Awakening or Sync to go with it.

Another daily draw gave me Eiko Carol’s (from Final Fantasy IX) Legend Materia Relic, Descendant of Legends. 

It’s new, and IIRC, actually have one of her Awakenings although since that was the only relic I had for her, I’ve never really used her.

Another free daily draw gave me a dupe of Shadow’s (from Final Fantasy VI) Arcane Overstrike Soul Break (AOSB), Shadow Assassin. Ugh.

It’s so frustrating that the one time I get a 6-star from this pull, it turns out to be nothing more than a dupe. It’s been forever since I got a rainbow orb from the daily free draw so was really disappointed to see this dupe.
