i took my brother to see bleak expectations in london and first of all if any of you know what that is then i am giving you a kiss on the forehead

second of all it was amazing and tom allen was the narrator and he's genuinely so fucking funny

both my brother and i know the radio show very well, we listened to it a lot when we were kids

however seeing this play made my brother realise that hyperfixations and special interests are very different

i (autistic with adhd) can tell you the entire story from ep1s1 to ep6s5 and i knew exactly which lines from the show were in the play and the relevance of tom allen wearing pink trousers and from which season and episode the plot points came from because it didn't stick to the canon

my brother (adhd)... just likes the show. he isn't a little bit insane about it. he gets obsessed with things for like a month at the most and then moves on. he looked at me like i should be Put Somewhere Safe, Away From People
