1 ) Yona did not "ruin"your ship

2 ) Sidlink was never on the table going into totk

3 ) Saying Sidon is "meant to be gay" is phobic against every sexuality and romantic interest that likes more than one sex or gender. A gay man is not somehow a more valid queer person than a pansexual man

4 ) Yona was never mentioned in botw because she was just a new character made for the sequel, this happens all the time in lots of medias that get sequels

5 ) Yona did nothing wrong, all she wants to do is love, stop demonizing her for loving

6 ) Yona is a FICTIONAL character

7 ) Nintendo is not trying to stop Sidlink shipping. If they wanted to do that, they'd go after art and fics, not try to split it up in totk

8 ) Nobody is saying that you can't ship Sidlink, not a single damn soul on this earth. If you don't want Yona around, you can keep shipping Sidlink in botw where she wasn't a character

9 ) Sidon isn't being forced into a straight relationship, this circles right back to what I said earlier about biphobia. Sidon was never gay, but that also doesn't mean he's straight. Sexuality is a spectrum, he can be bi or pan or omni or another sexuality that you would like to headcanon him as

10 ) You cannot expect a game company to adhere to your personal headcanons. Making up a stink because Sidon is dating a girl in the sequel when you headcanoned him as gay in the previous game is just stupid and disgusting. It's called a HEADcanon, it was never actually canon

11 ) How you treat Yona tells me all that I need to know about you, and if you treat her like she's the villain here, then I know you're not someone I can ever even have a somewhat friendly conversation with about totk as a whole

Deviating from my usual setting and hat style but I wanted to share this video I took at the Renaissance Festival. The week before going, I had practically no time to practice all the new songs I had learned since I was busy crafting my own Master Sword (and sheath), sewing my Link hat, and painting my Hylian ears. Still, despite all the mistakes I made while playing for my fellow LoZ fans, I had such a great time.

Soon after this video was taken, I visited the mermaid aquarium and serenaded the mermaids there with this same song. It was such a magical moment!
