Theory for why botw Link's weapons shatter like that: when he puts items in the sheikah slate, it "compresses" them, like image compression, and when he takes them back out, they're mostly the same, but there's imperceptible fault lines along those lines of compression, that happen to shatter when damaged wrong

【Funny Story Time】

I tried to machine translate a paragraph and modify it.
