okay clikkies I've done this with albums but what about eras
and when i say eras i mean concerts, videos, just the general experience of the new album and stuff
didn't know if i should include rab and self titled eras bc really how many of us experienced that, but then i thought, it's worth a shot
sorry for loc and csty, you were appreciated but like, the only thing i think would count would be the neverending mv and idk it didn't feel grand enough
part of me is still like “i can’t believe i went to the twenty one pilots mtv unplugged show” but part of me is like well. yeah. it just kind of makes sense doesn’t it.

*If you have information on more hotspots, feel free to send an inbox or add a comment with the exact place and time window
*Most hotspots are at venues Louis has played before, on tour or other separate gigs so if you're at a city Louis has been before, those places are most likely the ones you'll find. If not, there's still some hotspots in countries he's never visited so keep an eye out.

I promised I would remember her for every milestone, so here it is
If you are a senior clikkie, you might remember Tour de Columbus. I was super lucky that my friend at the time won tickets to the exclusive show, Express Live specifically.
I scoured and found a handful of people who also were going to Express Live and I made a group chat.
One person in this group was Emily. She was 17, almost 18. She was going to graduate high school the next school year, 2018. She played guitar and she really liked it. She was religious and liked to help people. She prided herself on wanting to help people.
At the time, I was 14 and severely depressed. I had some one-on-one conversations with her to vent in the months before the concert. We also spoke in the months after the concert to.
Something really traumatic happened to me about a month after the concert. And due to specific circumstances, she just happened to ended up being the first person I spoke to after it happened. I don't remember much, other than her assuring me everything was going to be okay. In the grand scheme, it wasn't that big of a deal, but I was so sick at the time, I needed that reassurance to get me through.
We lost contact over the next few months until someone from the group chat sent a message that there were memorial posts for Emily, on Instagram and the captions implied she had taken her own life. We were able to find her obituary where it was confirmed she took her life in late November of 2017.
I always promised myself from that day that I wouldn't let her be forgotten. So for every 21p milestone, I like to dedicate a post to her.
We miss you, Emily. Wherever you are now, I hope you finally have found the peace you deserved. I will never forget you. l-/
I am 20 now. In college and fully recovered. I am older than when Emily passed. It has been six and a half (?) years and I still cannot write about her without crying. We knew each other for so little, never even met irl, and her passing still hurts. You don't realize how many people you impact. I wish I could have told Emily that.

it's not surprising to learn taylor swift isn't all that famous outside the US. she's fundamentally in the miasma of ohio artists, not artists that literally come from ohio, though definitely some of those, but artists that are held in the stunted place within the american imagination I call ohio. not even a diss on ohio, but if you know how desperate columbus is for a personality, and how it's sanitized attempts at Nationwide Mutual Insurance friendly quirky corporate identity play out, you know what I'm getting at. some other ohio artists: imagine dragons, twenty one pilots, ariana grande (and that's maybe the only place I risk a controversial opinion), jack harlow, noah kahan, etc. etc. this just isn't famous to me. you know? anyway, none of that can compare to the frenzy shakira could cause by touring donde estan los ladrones again. With a slammed house (of blues), the lights dimmed and the Destroy Boys came out. Alexia Roditis first hit the stage and turned up the energy. Destroy Boys reminded me of why bands were formed in the first place, to play music and have fun. There was no shortage of jamming out, nor a shortage of smiles. Even once Violet Mayugba dropped the guitar, Violet was all smiles while screaming into the mic. The Destroy Boys is a band that is taking over the scene and I’m pumped to see them soar to new heights.
If you’re looking for a band with some powerful vocals combined with heavy lyrics that move you emotionally, then search bo further than Dayseeker. The whole set was full of a feeling that’s difficult to describe. It moved me. When Rory began discussing how the song “Neon Graves” was about his father who passed from cancer, it really resonated with me. My father had also passed from brain cancer a few years back and the performance of the song gave me a new sense of peace about it. Needless to say, Dayseeker has been playing nonstop around the house and is especially perfect for late-night drives.
Dayseeker is a post-hardcore band from California that formed in 2012. Their sound reminded me of when rock meets a small amount of synth wave, but only in the best ways. Dayseeker definitely has a bright future ahead of them!
L.S. Dunes wasted no time coming out swinging. With being a supergroup comprised of members from the gnarliest bands of the early 2000s, Coheed and Cambria, Saosin/Circa Survive, Thursday, and My Chemical Romance, it’s no wonder why they’re a true supergroup. Anthony Greens’ energy was never-ending, I assume he drank some of Frank Iero’s Hallowed Grounds coffee from La Paisa Bonita Coffee before the show. He was bouncing left and right and never slowed down. If Frank wasn’t burning down the house shredding, then the other members were. It was nonstop action delivered by each band member and a true success story of why supergroups are called such. These veterans of the scene were one of the best bands that I’ve ever seen.
Although the bill was stacked full of talented acts for support, once Pierce the Veil took the stage, it was obvious that’s who the crowd was pumped to see. I honestly wasn’t sure if I was in the year 2023 anymore, because the crowds attire was that of 2005. Your MySpace top 8 would have been proud. It was pretty awesome seeing young faces dawn on the emo/scene kid styles of the Millennial youth. Kicking off the show with confetti cannons and CO2 blasts, Pierce the Veil wasted no time giving the fans what they wanted. High kicks, high jumps, and a sold-out crowd made an unforgettable night. Even after a few songs had played there was still a veil, or curtains, draped over half the stage until a mid-song pickup dropped them down revealing the band’s banner and unleashing a newfound excitement from the crowd!
Pierce the Veil is an American rock group that was formed in 2006. Their sound has been widely described as metalcore, scene, post-hardcore, and about everything else under the sun. Today, they are still jamming hard and don’t appear to slow down anytime soon with the remaining tour dates below and accompanying Blink 182 next year on tour as support.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of their tour at these remaining dates and locations!

For this week I will be continuing talking about my research question. I had to be more specific with my final question. Here it is : how does twenty one pilots through their music and the use of social medias create and maintain a bound with their fan base ?
My primary sources are still the same but here is how I will analyze them :
I will chose lyrics and link them with fan arts published on twitter which took, with time, a bigger turn. On this « bigger turn », I have found articles commenting it so it will be a link to see as well.
Again, I will chose songs to link them with campaigns created by the fans.
I will compare the riddle made by the band and posted secretly online for their 5th album with the discovery by the fan base and the theory about it (a whole blog dedicated to it for exemple)
I will talk about the Tour de Columbus posted on twenty one pilots’twitter to gain free tickets to see the band live in small venues.
I will finally compare some contests on their social medias and the reaction both from the fan and the band itself.
I realised that I didn’t mentioned the time period : I will be between 2012 and 2022, so a 10 years period to cover. Why this period ? Because I will use song that went out started 2012 , and several events that mostly happened after 2015 until now.
I have found my first academic secondary source ! (And I’m struggling to find a second one)
As this thesis is based on metaphors and themes that are recurrent in their song and universe (such as concept created, some aesthetics etc…) it will me help to understand deeply how the group works and how people are attracted to their universe.
remembering that time i was trying to sell an old signed twenty one pilots postcard on depop and someone offered to pay less than half the listed price and trade me “a tour de columbus ticket”. bitch i was FUCKING THERE
The Kenley Players was an Equity summer stock theatre company which presented hundreds of productions featuring Broadway, film, and television stars in Midwestern cities between 1940 and 1996. Variety called it the "largest network of theaters on the straw hat circuit." Founded by and operated for its entire lifespan by John Kenley, it is credited with laying the groundwork for Broadway touring companies.
The company's success was predicated on booking big-name stars for their box office potential, casting them in familiar plays and musicals, and keeping prices low, thereby attracting large crowds. In its heyday, Kenley Players productions drew crowds of 5,000 in Dayton, Akron, Columbus, Flint, Michigan, and Warren, Ohio. Kenley "pioneered the notion of putting TV stars in summer stock." In a 1950 interview Kenley told The Washington Post, "I only charge $1.50 top...I'd rather have full houses every night than be stuck with a batch of empty seats."
Headliners included Tallulah Bankhead, Cyd Charisse, Rosemary Clooney, Olivia de Havilland, Veronica Lake, Gypsy Rose Lee, Arthur Godfrey, Rudy Vallée, Tommy Tune, Burt Reynolds, Ethel Merman, Mae West, Billy Crystal, William Shatner, Betty White, Florence Henderson, Mickey Rooney, Roddy McDowall, Marlene Dietrich, Jayne Mansfield, Rock Hudson and Gloria Swanson.
Those who appeared in more than five productions included Edie Adams, Ed Ames, Vivian Blaine, Mitzi Gaynor, Vincent Price, Genevieve, Robert Goulet, Lois Hunt, Van Johnson, Carol Lawrence, Paul Lynde, Gordon MacRae, Ann Miller, Karen Morrow, John Raitt, Martha Raye, Alexis Smith, Betty White, Barry Williams, and Earl Wrightson. In 1972, 1973, and 1975, Karen Valentine appeared in Columbus, Ohio. In 1978, Sue Ane Langdon appeared in Chicago in Columbus, Ohio.
Backstage called the Kenley Players "a legendary summer stock circuit." Playbill called it "for decades, a renowned midwestern summer stock outfit." During the period The Phil Donahue Show was broadcast from Dayton, celebrities appearing in Kenley productions appeared regularly, giving Kenley national publicity
