♦️When Bruce and Floyd's group we're escaping in the tunnels they lost their way, but did not turn back and kept walking forward till they saw an opening and heard waves. The trolls bump into the vacationers and Bruce susing them out to see if they're not a threat or similar to the Bergins. When they realize that the vacationers are very friendly and chill they joined in the vacation vibe. ( I wanted to add Bruce and Brandi's love story but I got a little too lazy and I didn't know how to start it, so I'm going to leave that up to you guys ) deep down Brandi wanted to go back to the tree and find her sisters and her father again but another part of her didn't want to deal with the reality if they were truly gone. So she stay in vacation island with Bruce and Floyd.

♥️ Once the pop trolls finally settled into pop Village Peppy wanted to separate himself from the tribe for being the only troll to lose his colors completely. Queen RosiePuff insisted on Peppy staying within the village but still creating a bunker far from them. Poppy on the other hand didn't lose her colors just decreased to a dull saturation. Both Peppy and Poppy mourning the loss of Brandi and Viva to always remembering the good times. Over the years Peppy engraves into Poppy's mind about how Bergens may come at any moment in which poppy grows up becoming more paranoid but always prepared for the unexpected while Peppy starts becoming more jaded and grumpy seeing how all the Pop troll live Carefree like they forgot the loved ones that they lost on that trollstice. Poppy deep down wants to socialize with the other pop trolls but following her father's advice that it's a waste of time she stays in her comfort zone till a blue haired Prince of Pop invites her to every party ( turning down the invitations but happy for the effort )

♠️ From fighting their way out of the grasp of the Bergins JD leads the trolls to hole-n-fun where he starts a civilization as best as he can. With John being overworked and messing up on paperwork Clay finally steps up to help and make things more efficient. Both brothers working their hardest to make hole-n-fun a safe home, so neither of them have time for parties or anything to lighten the mood. This is where Viva steps in and starts to bring trolls together and have a good time. This is where the brothers recognize Viva from 3 of a Kind, and JD without filter expresses that she was the "hyper one" or the "sugar addict". Viva respectfully making it very clear to both of them that she wants to keep her band days in the past and prefers to be more chill and relaxed, but Clay seen her potential in bringing trolls together and giving them hope makes her the official party planner of the Putt-Putt trolls. Viva being Viva takes the position to heart. While the brothers are managing the survival of the trolls Viva makes the whole experience a good time.

What makes me really sad is thinking about how the trolls, while still living in the troll tree, had to of tried so hard to normalize things. Trollstice, to me, had to be a thing for roughly 100-150 years at best so many trolls were used to this lifestyle and always made due with what they could. They lived with fear and uncertainty their entire lives without questioning it often. But what confuses me is the timeline we’re presented with for the 1st and 3rd movies, which has lead me to create my own timeline of course ❤️

Brozone happened because it was a good distraction, not only for the young band members but everyone else, too. Their breakup probably happened three years prior to the trolls’ escape. Rosiepuff most likely died a year prior to escape. Poppy was probably about 3 years old during the escape, while Branch was around 4(currently putting Branch at 24 years old, Poppy being 23). SO;

7 years before escape

—Brozone forms consisting of JD, Clay, Floyd, and Bruce

6 years before escape

—Brozone’s first official concert

—Branch is born

5 years before escape

—Brozone starts to gain more popularity in mainstream media; not yet at the height of their fame

4 years before escape

—Brozone is the number 1 boy band in the troll tree

—Branch joins the band

—Poppy is born

—A meeting to plan their escape is organized

3 years before escape

—First ever Brozone tree wide tour

—Brozone breaks up, the brothers split up; the band fades away into obscurity

—The tunnel plan officially begins

2 years before escape

—Branch joins Kismet with other young trolls around his age to cope

—The escape tunnel is nearly complete

1 year before escape

—Rosiepuff dies

—Branch turns gray

—Kismet breaks up

—The tunnel is finished, phase 2 in the plan begins in time for next Trollstice

I imagine Branch having some of this stuff with him

Like the medicine, I can imagine how dry his throat is from not using it or trying to mimic some difficult critter sounds

The emergency whistle for if he can't call for help or warning others when needed

just wanted to share these nothing more

I love this! Yes, Branch's throat does become dry or sore after years of disuse, and he usually carries around cough drops or mint leaves to help with that.

Branch can whistle at a very high note quite loudly by himself but does carry around a whistle that King Peppy gave him when he was still a trolling.

He also makes the critter treats himself to make sure they are tasty and healthy

Yes I have seen it, and I like it, although it makes me feel terrified and a bad taste in my stomach because of it, yes I write about possessive and obsessive characters, but the idea of losing almost part of your mind terrifies me; I still like that AU.

and it depends a lot, for example if John Dory arrived while Branch was giving a concert, he would be happy and excited to see what his little brother had accomplished, but then, when he realized what Branch looked like, you know, his hair color. skin and those glowing heart glasses, John would know something was wrong, he raised his brother, he memorized every corner of his face, his eyes, his hair color, everything, even with the years gone he would never forget what Branch really looked like. or its true colors, so after the show you will see it.

Branch is ecstatic, hugs and talks animatedly with John, but John sees Branch's hands trembling as his voice stutters and takes off his glasses and sees his eyes; John Dory is furious, Branch is all happy and downplaying everything, downplaying it, John wants to kill whoever, and then King Peppy comes in.

and John loses it; He shouts, insults and even hits the king, he takes Branch who was in shock, but even with a smile, he is crying but keeps smiling and John feels sick because of it, his sweet little brother is not capable of crying or feeling anything outside of sick and forced happiness; He ignores Peppy, he only heard that Branch was gray and he hit him again and took Branch to Rhonda, ignoring his brother's supposed friends, squeezing Branch's hand when he tries to go with them or return to Peppy when the King tells him. calls.

John Dory is sure that maybe he broke Branch's hand a little from the squeeze, but Branch just laughed at it; That only makes John feel sicker, he can only watch his brother act like that until it wears off, who knows, maybe he can help his brother after all this big trauma, have him with him again, like he was supposed to. what it should be

Clay is a little upset with Viva because she said Peppy meant well, Clay is giving her the silent treatment for that comment.

and the brothers try to get Branch to break up with Poppy at least until he finishes therapy (and if they never come back, good bonus point for the brothers)

Nomads AU! PEPPY SUCKS !!!!!!! (And so does POP village)

Pop village basically alienated Branch. He was deemed an outcast by the village standards. Sure there have been grey trolls in the past but it has never lasted longer than a day at most! Branch has been grey for months now and has swore off SINGING?!?!! What troll doesn’t sing?! Anyway the village was cruel to itty bitty Branch, he was seen as a freak always screaming and crying about the Bergen’s, always carrying a weapon, not to mention those hysterical “tantrums” (they were panic attacks😐) The kids made fun of him and pulled pranks that usually were Bergen related (the new generation was unaware how much harm those things caused many of the survivors, but thats not an excuse) The adults talked about him like he was a pest and a blemish on the “happy” village. No one wanted him and those who tried to take him in only wanted to make him happy, and when he didn’t become “happy” they dumped him onto the next family.. Peppy was too busy to take care of the troll and insisted on finding a new home for him,….till he gave up looking after another escape from branch’s current home (Branch kept leaving to build the bunker for his bros sadly the one in pop village was left unfinished) eventually Branch disappeared, no one noticed for a few weeks till he was brought up in a conversation once. Soon Peppy and the older trolls stopped talking about the grey troll. He became nothing more than a forgotten memory, eventually the knowledge of grey trolls also were forgotten (or kept a secret…)

Everyone forgot you could even go grey or be sad in general the last grey troll was forever gone and so was sadness (Peppy didn’t want the new generation to worry about things like that besides they no longer had worries the Bergens are gone….for now)

I watched Trolls Band Together and my immediate reaction was to start writing fanfiction. I have created a swap AU Viva and Brozone switch roles.

Essentially, Viva is the one that leaves and the bros get lost during their escape from the troll tree. It's heavily inspired by @year2000electronics fic, Brozone: World Tour. I absolutely love this fic so much; I recommend reading it.

Anyways, I've some stuff figured out, but it's not set in stone.

Swap AU (official name pending)

Before the Great Escape, it was highly encouraged for smaller groups and families to escape on their own, enough so that Pop Village had already been established before King Peppy and the rest of the Pop trolls escaped

After the death of her daughter (Cecily) and daughter-in-law (Juniper), Rosiepuff becomes the sole guardian of her five grandchildren: John Dory (15), Spruce (13), Clay (11), Floyd (8), and Branch (egg)

With King Peppy’s blessing and best wishes, Rosiepuff packs up her family and leaves with another escaping family

They’re discovered during their escape and the brothers are separated and scattered across the genres

With ⅘ of her grandkids lost to the sewers, Rosiepuff is crushed, but she pushes through for Branch and acts as the de facto leader of the Pop trolls

During that time, she becomes a guide for trolls seeking to escape and works with Peppy to devise the Great Escape plan

It's during the Great Escape that Rosiepuff is eaten leading the Burgens away from the others and Branch (5) still sees her get eaten, causing him to gray

At the same time, Viva (14) has seen more than any child ever should and the closer she gets to turning 18, the more pressure is put on her to be a good queen

Between the Burgens, escape plans, and her ever-growing stack of responsibilities, Viva cracks under the pressure

During the Great Escape, she splits off from the group after saying goodbye to Poppy (2) and runs away to find a place for herself

Their rushed parting leaves Poppy w/ bittersweet (mostly bitter) feelings about her sister and siblings in general

As an old friend of Rosiepuff’s, Peppy does his best to look after Branch until he's old enough to be on his own, at which point, he leaves to build his bunker

Growing up together gives Poppy more of a reason to want to be around Branch

Branch is also aware of Viva’s existence, but because of how everything went down, he assumes she was eaten and doesn't bring it up

As mentioned earlier, the brothers were separated and scattered across the genres

John Dory ends up in Volcano Rock City

He's found by King Thrash and raised alongside Barb as her older brother

The separation left him with severe trauma that shows itself on a daily basis as over-protectiveness, an unwillingness to venture beyond the kingdom, and a need to fortify it

Bruce find finds himself lost at sea before meeting the Techno trolls who help him to Vacay Island

He spends a week or so drifting across the sea by himself

Eventually, he's found by a pod of Techno trolls and they help find shore

He washes up on Vacay Island and gets a job as a busboy at the restaurant run by Brandy's dad

They meet, fall in love, and the rest is history

Bruce has a tendency to do head counts whenever he's anxious or overwhelmed

Clay ends up in Symphonyville

Clay is found half-conscious by an elderly conductor named Calliope

She takes him and while officially, he is her 'ward', everyone knows him as her grandson

The trauma of the separation leaves Clay w/ selective mutism, preventing him from speaking or singing

Instead, he learns to play the cello and focuses his energy on that as he slowly regains the ability to speak

While he eventually learns how to talk again, he can't sing nor does he want to

Floyd ends up in Lonesome Flats

After getting washed away in the sewers, Sheriff Brooks drags him out of the river and takes him back to town

From there, he’s adopted by the Sheriff and raised as Delta Dawn’s little brother

Being the youngest when he was separated and given the traumatic event itself as well as the physical damage inflicted during the escape, Floyd remembers the least about his family before coming to Lonesome Flats

I might make a separate post going further in depth on Viva's side of things if anyone's interested. I've also come up with character designs for the boys' moms.

3OAK AU :

So Brandy, Viva, and Poppy are sisters (Brandy having a different mom from Viva and Poppy) Peppy being a single father raising his daughters, but since they are low income troll family. The sisters start a girl group to help make some money with their music. It all started as a fun bonding time as a family, but soon Peppy gets over his head and gets money blinded and then he starts pushing his daughters to become perfect stars which creates a strain on the family harmony.

Contrary to Brozone the sisters have a very healthy relationship with each other an they're very supportive, but having Peppy be The controlling strict father.

♦️ Brandy and Peppy: He just wants her to focus on practicing her singing and writing new lyrics for the "family business", but since Brandy was the main vocalist Peppy had her practice more in singing. They would get into many arguments over how she is the only troll in her grade who can't date or hangout with friends after school. As the oldest she always watches out for her little sisters mainly Viva who sneaks out of the house, but soon it becomes there thing. Brandy loves poppy and spoils her with food and sweet treats (she hopes to have trolling herself one day)

♣️ Viva and Pepe: When Viva threw down some fantamazing moves in there first shows Peppy had her focus on choreography and having her hyping the audience for each show with her signature move "sugar rush". Viva fights with Peppy on how she doesn't want to be the "hyper one" 24/7 instead wants to relax in making candy bracelets, braid hair with friends, or even going to happy book club. Being the middle child she doesn't get much attention, but she uses it to her advantage in sneaking out to go hangout with friends (and book club get-togethers) in which Brandy helps her and become super duper close. Viva adores Poppy that whenever together their giggling over funny stories and hair braided to the max.

♥️ Poppy and Peppy: He originally he didn't want poppy in the spotlight, but with her sad puppy eyes wanting to join her sisters he just couldn't say no. Poppy being the baby of the group she didn't face any pressure like her sisters in singing or dancing, for any mistakes would just be passed as cute. As the youngest in the family she is surrounded by love from Peppy, Brandy, and Viva. She had no issues in being part of the girl group the opposite she had lots of fun, but when arguments ensued Poppy would secretly wish to go back like they use to be.
