Mostly my friend translated everything for me, but it's kind of nice to know what's going on. xD

How long have you been playing the Sims? 

Since 2008. I played The Sims DJ first, so about 14 years.

How long have you been a Simblr, and why did you become one?

I started around 2013 on my first blog so it’s been 9 years. I was just lurking around at first, then I was mostly liking and reblogging stuff and eventually joined in posting my own sims things around late 2015 because of everyone’s amazing sims content. (Also I remember you being one of the first people who supported me here when I started! :D)

What type of Simblr are you?

A sporadic one, I pop in and out every now and then. I usually make sims and CAS content then share some of them here. Like most peeps on here, I look at what everyone else is up to in their games and their content (*^▽^*)

Which generation of Sims do you primarily play?

TS2! TS4 is a close second.

My aesthetics have def evolved to maxis match direction, mainly because it's easier to keep the game stable with that content

NOT CC-Free Cutesy Cabana

Waaaay back, @twofee​ asked if I could upload this beach community lot I’d posted. At the time, my CC wasn’t quite as organized and I didn’t know how to edit a lot package to remove the 500 unnecessary recolors, so the original one I uploaded was pretty messy file-wise...

Sooo I cleaned it up! Now the lot package only has the meshes/recolors actually used on the lot, plus I ran it through Lot Cleaner and removed sim references cause idk if I did that before either.

There are a few changes though - I replaced the Castaway palm trees and wallpaper/flooring because the textures weren’t getting packaged and I didn’t want to figure that out lol. Plus I got rid of the custom terrain paint cause idk if those can cause issues, so I just used Maxis terrain paint.

I also noticed the Artig recolor on the wall facing the road didn’t show up in the lot package, so I just added it into the .zip folder.

What’s your favourite sims death? I can’t say no to the cowplant, it’s just great. Does feel a bit cheaty though. Honourable mention to death by satellite - it’s only happened once in my game (RIP Archie Goth) and I still can’t forget it.

Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Maxis match a million percent.

Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? No, but I’m not gonna lie, I did when I first got the game. I was an actual child, I forgive myself.

Do you use move objects? Yes but not often. If I do, it’s to redecorate or to move a stubborn baby/kitten/puppy because they can’t use stairs.

Favorite mod? Simblender. I’ve used that to fix so many issues. I even have one in my “CC Free” downloads folder which is pretty much just that, the “no vermin memory” and default skin/eyes.

First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? OFB. And I love it.

Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? Live like aLIVE. Didn’t occur to me other people do it different and it honestly blew my mind a little bit.

Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I have a new favourite every 20 seconds and no self-control. Don’t ask me that. Although current top contender would be Troll (who @deedee-sims has also turned into a face template and I get so happy when his face spawns on a maid or something)

Have you made a simself? Yes. Over the years I have made thousands. The most recent is this one... Which is almost ten years out of date and looks nothing like the now version of me.

What sim traits do you give yourself? I’d have heavy sleeper, neurotic, commitment issues, family oriented (love the combo of those two), and then either nurturing, dog person, or childish. This is too many but I also don’t care. If there was one for “indecisive”, then that would be the top one.

Which is your favorite EA hair color? Probably the red. I had so many gingers when I first got this game. Gingers everywhere.

Favorite EA hair? The one that’s like waves is the one I used all the time, but lately I’ve gained a love for the one with the big silver clip at the back which is one of the default ones to grow into as a child? I don’t know any names and I don’t feel like looking them up.

Favorite life stage? Controversial I’m aware, but I love the teenagers.

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? Gameplay 100%. I used to get my sister to build the houses so I could play them.

Are you a CC creator? I make a lot of sims, and have on occasion made a couple of paintings. But my townie pool is the one I think that made me think I could be a CC Creator maybe. It’s my shiny achievement, go download it.

Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? In real life no. On here, despite me constantly vanishing in and out of simblr, I want to say yes. I’m saying yes.

What’s your favorite game? (1, 2, 3, or 4) 2. No contest. I think 2, with 3′s traits (which @hexagonal-bipyramid has already done for us) and colour wheel would be my perfect game.

Do you have any sims merch? No, but I am eyeing up a pair of cowplant earrings I saw recently on etsy.

Do you have a YouTube for sims? No, youtube is not my jam.

How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? More mods, less fear, more relaxed when things don’t follow my “plan”.

What’s your Origin ID? I don’t know? Which I should because I still use Origin to play (why I am so bad at helping real life people get the game in other ways) but nope.

What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? We aren’t getting more for sims 2... but if we did, I’d definitely lean into the Oldtown/magic vibes. Apartment life could have given us so much more witchy stuff.

What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? Possibly OFB because it was my first and I’m rediscovering a love for home businesses, but when I first got it Nightlife won my heart and when I tried without it a while ago it just hurt. So one of those two.

If I need to kill a sim without cheats, then fire because it's quick and easy. In my normal gameplay, however, I'd say any death that feels random. Most of my sims live until the old age, so having the game pull the rug from under me is always exciting.

A secret third thing aka my downloads folder is older than most modern CC systems.

No, I like the variety it adds.

Anyone who adds preview pictures to their CC in jpeg format instead of png and doesn't use special characters in file names.

Oof, wow, about nine years if I count my previous blog.

I cut them down and adjust brightness in PS.

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next?

Not relevant to TS2, but I guess I'm interested in other life simulation games that are in development now. Don't think I'll ever move on from TS2 as it's been my hobby for almost two decades now, but competition is good for the genre.
