Motive.

PAIRING: Tyler Leplay x Black reader.

SUMMARY: He’s been flirting with you for a long time and you just gotta know what his angle is.

NOTE: I have been feeling Tyler for a while and it’s finally time I showed him some love! This is his introduction! 💜

His name was Tyler and he was introduced to you through a friend of a friend at a small gathering. Your eyes first met as you walked into the apartment. He was standing with his friends but his eyes fell on you and a smirk came to his lips.

You checked him out too. Dressed in a white fitting t-shirt with his tattoos on display, black formal joggers and white air forces. Chains on his neck, watch on his wrist, beard on thick, waves on swim, yeah he was your type perfectly.

But other women at the party — clearly invited to fill the space — were blatantly checking him out and there was no way you were going to put yourself out there. He was going to approach you first.

And he did. After convincing a mutual friend to start a conversation, he finally approached you. It did not take long for him to shake your hand and introduce himself. The look in his eyes, you knew what he wanted but you were going to make him work for it.

A few weeks down the line, he was still making his move, playing it smooth, never pushing too far but never making his intentions known.

It’s another night with the friendship group and you’re in the kitchen, making yourself another drink when he comes in.

“Wassup lil mama?” He asked as he came and leaned on the counter beside you.

You giggled as you licked the liquor from your hands. “Hi Tyler.”

“I told you.” He started. “Call me Ty.”

“Hello Ty.” You replied which caused him to grin and lick his lips.

“I like the way you say my name.”

“How?” You raised your eyebrow.

“All sexy like, with a little drawl. like a siren.”

“Boy if you don’t.” You chuckled as you brought your drink to your lips and stood aside with your body facing him.

“So when are you going to let me take you out to dinner?” He asked.

“Didn’t we already have dinner together the other night?”

“Yes but that was with everybody and then they left. I just want it to be us this time around.” He replied with a look of determination in his eyes. You were impressed. His persistence had not weavered one bit.

You knew that he was a busy guy and never stayed in the city and you couldn’t be with someone long distance. But the way Tyler had you feeling made you want to reevaluate your rules.

You couldn’t have that, it made you weary. However with the way Tyler spoke and showed you that he was only interested in you was what made you want to give him a chance. You didn’t just want to be a fuck to him. If he wanted to be with you, it’d have to be all the way.

“What are your intentions Tyler?” You bluntly asked him. You could tell that he wasn’t expecting the questions with the way his body straightened up.

“Well. When you let me take you out on that date, I’d show you a lot more. But the biggest intention is to make you mine.”

“That’s bold of you.” You smirked.

“I’m confident in the possibility that there will be an us.”

“How can you be so sure?” You raised your eyebrow as you leaned forward after his fingers moved to hook around yours.

“You wouldn’t be giving me a hard time if you didn’t think so either.”

“Fair play.” You licked your lips and moved your hand to his arm and squeezed his arm. “I’ll agree to your date. On one condition.”

“What’s that?” He smiled as he bent his head to the side.

“You have this date to show me that you can handle me.” You replied as your eyes narrowed slightly with a look of seduction. “This is the only chance you get.”

“Oh I can most definitely handle you.” He grinned.

Am I writing a Diamond fic for Kinktober? Yes, yes I am. He is pure sin.

Quick up date. I've got nothing. I had a story of Diamond caring for a cramping character leading to period sex, but I couldn't get the words words right. Then I had another idea about a will they/won't they/they did up against a brick wall in public.

Really, this lack of inspiration comes from the fact I was only able to watch P-Valley once. I don't have Starz and watched it on the free preview and don't have the ability to watch it multiple times to gauge the subtle traits of his character. Im very disappointed in myself.

MEET THE WOMEN

There's a new girl group in town and they are not here to play. Meet the badass ladies of MINX.

Ameera James (29)

Unofficial leader of MINX. First member to be scouted for he group. Huge social media following with a voice of an angel.

Joanie Marie Jones (29)

The group's secret weapon. She was discovered while out shopping with her mom. Very well rounded and can sing, rap, and dance her ass off. Was in a popular web series and is beloved by fans all over.

Rakia Banks (28)

The resident bad girl of the group. After her mugshot was leaked and went viral, she was asked to join the group. Always about her money and her business.

Lania Parker (27)

MINX'S very own bi icon. Was scouted for the group after spearheading a LGBTQIA+ protest that got out of hand. A true activist who doesn't back down from anything. Was in a serious relationship with Bree.

Bree (30)

BB Record's biggest star. Put the label on the map and has several awards under her belt. Recent album went platinum, securing her a major endorsement deal and a sponsored tour from Chanel. Former girlfriend of Lania.

Sasha Engles (25)

Trevante's little sister. Work's as an AR rep in the company. Is good at her job but often jeopardizes it being overly ambitious.

Camille Daughton (26)

Sasha's best friend since middle school and a well known real estate agent. Often goes along with Sasha's schemes, especially when it benefits her.
