the Outers are the funniest dramatic bitches out there because they're always 100% on the same page with everything immediately, no matter how weird or unexpected. like there is no question or hesitation from any of them in whether they're gonna steal baby Hotaru and run off with her and raise her as her lesbian throuple parents, its as if they had all discussed this as a possible outcome already and its just all going according to plan
but also they will be 100% on their same page with their actions and have also reached the character growth that makes them accept they are on the same team as the Inners and they need to work together rather than sacrifice themselves needless.
But also they are NOT giving Usagi their new address

The Monastery of Vallombrosa and the Arno Valley Seen from Paradisino, c. 1797
Louis Gauffier
Gauffier was a French artist who settled in Rome, but popular unrest following the execution of Louis XVI led him to flee with his wife to Florence. He could not receive patronage from France because he was branded a royalist, and this curtailed his career as a history painter. When Napoleon marched his troops into Italy in 1796 and occupied Florence in 1799, Gauffier painted officers’ portraits. He painted very beautiful landscape scenes of Napoleonic Italy, such as this painting.

CHRIS IN THE MORNING: It seems Earth's happy spacecraft, the Voyager 1, is now some 7.2 billion kilometers from home. It's passing through the heliopause. It's zipping out of our solar system into the bosom of the Milky Way. Good luck and godspeed to you, our noble emissary. You know, that's a trip all us earthbound stargazers would love to take.

in both 'unimatrix zero' and 'collective' (and 'drone' I think), there's this weird moral quandary that the doctor and janeway create surrounding the borg, and it bothers the fuck outta me every time. basically when it comes down to allowing/causing the death of a borg or returning them to the hivemind, janeway and other members of the crew say that returning them to the hivemind is the best option, because "at least they'll be alive".
I'd write this off as a poor choice of words or writing, character-wise or show-wise, but it's an argument that keeps being repeated. and like. have they forgotten that being assimilated is slavery? the complete possession of your mind and body, put to work by hostile forces for a their gain? it's so strange to me that the crew would take that stance repeatedly, like the choice is death or imprisonment, or something. borg drones can be saved, it's true, but for voyager to assume that these people would prefer to be mindless zombified slaves instead of dead is baffling. voyager can't free most of the borg in the delta quadrant, alone and outnumbered as they are. I just feel like this argument warrants a wider conversation. the borg maim and deform their victims, and with their consciousness preserved in unimatrix zero, it also becomes endless torture. that's not life!!!!! picard would spend 4 episodes talking abt the philosophy of allowing this fate!!!!!

- Ben...Pourquoi ?
- Pour faire un rêve, il faut dormir. Or, vous êtes veilleur de nuit !
