Misplaced
Author’s Notes: The following story is Part III of my Shadow Games series and takes place at Vaiken Spacedock in my Halcyon Legacy a few weeks before the Forged Alliances story arc.
Tumblr media
“What do you mean you’ve lost an experimental dreadnaught?”
Darth Arkous glared across his desk towards his chief advisor, Lana Beniko. The younger Sith was standing before him, having just delivered a report that had made his blood boil.
Beniko cooly maintained eye contact, impassively holding her ground. Despite her lack of a formal title – apparently by her own choice – she was unflappable as usual.
“With all due respect, my lord, I played no role in maintaining the security of the Undying.” The human female’s voice was clearly unphased by Arkous’ rising anger. He found himself simultaneously impressed and infuriated by her poise. Most of his underlings would have been cowering by this point, some of them on their knees.
Arkous finally turned away in dark contemplation. The implications of this news would impact his plans on multiple fronts.
Taking his motion as assent, Lana continued her report.
“The Sphere of Military Offense only just received this report - as a courtesy from our counterparts in Military Defense - that the ship had gone missing from where it had been posted stationed.”
She paused.
“As it was nominally considered a defensive asset, that placed it under Darth Marr’s purview.”
Despite his dark mood, Arkous had to bite back a smirk at the mention of his fellow Councilor. Nominally, Arkous was a fully-fledged member of the Sith Empire’s feared Dark Council as the Councilor of the Sphere of Military Offense, a position that should have made him the better or equal to any other Sith Lord in the galaxy save for the Emperor himself. Further, he was now well entrenched in his position, having held this role since shortly after the death of his predecessor, Darth Arho, on Ilum nearly two years ago.
In practice, Darth Marr, his counterpart as Councilor of the Sphere of Military Defense and one of the longest serving Sith on the Council, had taken advantage of the Emperor’s absence and the Empire’s many internal conflicts over the last few years, consolidating a significant power base for himself. Arkous, along with many of the other Councilors, were finding it increasingly difficult to act on their own authority without consulting him.
Indeed, some had even dared to whisper that Marr would eventually attempt to lay claim to the dark throne of the Sith Emperor for himself.
He is a symbol of everything wrong with the Dark Council. Arkous privately reflected.
He could only hope that the loss of such an infamous weapon under Darth Marr’s watch would take his esteemed colleague down a peg or two. When a new Empire eventually emerged from the fires to come, Sith like Marr would be tossed aside.
Beniko might well have been sensing – or perhaps anticipating – his thoughts.
“I am told that Lord Marr is… less than pleased.” The Sith advisor, the face of professionalism, confirmed dryly. Arkous fully understood the implied understatement.
Heads would no doubt be rolling at the Sphere of Military Defense over such a catastrophic failure. Quite literally.
Reluctantly putting aside his personal satisfaction at Marr’s plight, Arkous decided to press on.
“Fine. Fine.” The Pureblooded Sith Lord waved his hand dismissively. “What else do we know?”
Beniko turned back to her datapad.
“The Undying was stationed at the far end of the Dromund system outside of standard sensor range.” Beniko continued. “It was hoped that it would serve as the Empire’s ultimate fallback weapon if the Republic ever attempted another strike against the capital. With its advanced capabilities and the advantage of surprise, it could have devastated an opposing fleet…”
“I am well aware of its tactical potential.” Arkous interrupted, irritably. The Republic’s raid on Dromund Kaas two years prior, an attack that had led to the destruction of the ancient Dark Temple, had been a blight on the reputation of the entire Empire. It had made the Sith appear weak to the galaxy, encouraging dissent and rebellion throughout the Empire’s own ‘sphere of influence’. Revolts had arisen on several planets in light of the setbacks they had suffered during the Second Galactic War, and even the supply of Isotope-5 that Marr had claimed from Makeb prior to that planet’s destruction had not been enough to completely reverse that momentum. Indeed, Arkous recalled that it had been that these events had set him on the path of reconsidering his own loyalties…
He stopped himself. Beniko was perceptive. It would not do for him to dwell too long on those considerations in her presence.
“And I understand why it was there.” He stated firmly. “Pray, continue, Lana.”
Arkous had researched the specifications of the prototype vessel extensively after coming into power. Knowledge of the superweapon – much less details of its full capabilities – had been severely restricted. It had been an impressive ship, indeed.
“As you say, my lord.” The advisor moved on, apparently unrattled by his interruption as she looked down again.
“Every effort was taken to conceal the ship’s presence, including maintaining only a carefully selected skeleton crew and employing a communications embargo. Space traffic in that zone was restricted, and supply runs were carried out by droid-controlled transport ships.”
Beniko looked up.
“This is why it took them nearly a week to realize it had gone missing.” Lana was clearly allowing some of her dry contempt at the oversight by her counterparts at Military Defense to bleed into her report, even while maintaining her professional detachment.
“And thus we’ve managed to lose the last of Mekhis’ toys.” Arkous sighed in aggravation, sitting back in his chair.
Darth Mekhis, the late Councilor of the Empire’s Sphere of Technology, had been an engineering genius without peer. But she had also been a decrepit and insane crone; far too obsessed with the artistry of her own creations to effectively deploy them properly. Some rumors even claimed that she’d come to regard her weapons as her ‘children’. Arkous had no doubt those distractions had helped lead to her demise, along with the destruction of the Sun Razer some years ago.
Since then, both the Gauntlet and the Ascendant Spear, arguably the two most promising of Mekhis’ creations, had both been destroyed during ill-considered operations against the Republic.
The Silencer, a mega-laser that could be attached to a capital ship with the capability of destroying entire fleets, had shown great potential initially under the direction of Darth Nox. But the Republic had proven to be incredibly resourceful in refitting their capital ships to defend against the weapon. What’s more, it was terribly power-restrictive. Already there had been at least one incident where an Imperial dreadnaught had crippled itself in a failed attack on the Republic, leading to its capture. Without Mekhis to make corrective alterations, her mega-laser was now obsolete.
Finally, the Emperor’s Shadow, with its advanced cloaking capabilities, had been lost during Darth Malgus’ coupe attempt, its incredible technologies squandered on another Sith’s delusions of grandeur.
The Undying was now the only remaining superweapon from Sun Razer project, and now it had apparently been lost as well.
Arkous drummed his fingertips along the surface of his desk.
“Could the Republic be responsible?” he finally offered.
Beniko paused at length.
“Our intelligence apparatus has been somewhat… disorganized since the dissolution of Imperial Intelligence, my lord.” Her disapproval of the present state of affairs was obvious. Academically, Arkous was forced to agree. Whatever its faults might have been, the absence of the Empire’s Intelligence service had left a major gap in their capabilities, forcing them to rely more and more on the private networks of individual Sith.
Then again, that same ‘gap’ had allowed an opportunistic Sith Lord like Arkous to engage in his own machinations unimpeded.
“But our current analysis is that direct Republic involvement seems unlikely.” Beniko continued. “Such an operation would require the involvement of too many assets to have gone completely unnoticed. I believe our remaining operatives would have reported on such a bold plan.”
Suspicions of treachery creeped into the Sith Lords mind.
“Could the crew have mutinied?”
Beniko paused at that, gathering her thoughts.
“Not impossible, but both the officers and the crew were carefully selected for their loyalty to the Empire. Collective treason without warning signs seems implausible in the extreme.”
Arkous turned away in consideration.
“So we have nothing.” He concluded.
“I’m told that Lord Marr has already asked the former Cipher Nine to investigate.” Beniko quickly responded. “Despite their… semi-independence, they have the most impressive track record of our surviving field agents.”
Arkous imagined that Marr hadn’t quite phrased it in the form of a ‘request’, independent agent or not. He also knew he could not allow anything to interfere in the Order’s goals. Not when they were so close to finally putting their plans in motion.
I’ll have to make certain that this Cipher agent finds no compromising breadcrumb trails leading back to me. He mused.
Not for the first time, he considered revealing his true allegiances to Beniko; her talents and acumen could be a great asset to the Master.
No. Not yet. Too many variables at this point. Beniko was a pragmatist. She might certainly come to recognize the danger that Vitiate represented, both to the Empire and to the galaxy as a whole. But it would be unwise to overplay that hand just yet. Perhaps later, she would be ready to see the situation clearly as he did and be ready to understand the desperate measures necessary to stop him.
With that decision made it became vital that he continue to keep her in the dark to his dealings, at least for the present.
“Very well.” He finally assented. “Keep me informed and order a full audit of our own Sphere’s assets in case other vessels or equipment are targeted. It would not do for us to repeat Marr’s mistake.”
He steepled his fingers together.
“You alone are capable of overseeing such efficiency, Lana.” The Dark Councilor then regarded his fellow Sith, their yellow eyes meeting. “I do hope my confidence in you has not been… misplaced.”
He allowed the unspoken threat to linger in the hope that it would convey enough urgency that she’d be distracted from his true intentions.
If she were at all intimidated by the warning, Beniko didn’t give it away.
“No, my lord.” She answered with a deference he strongly suspected his advisor didn’t feel. “I assure you I remain fully capable of carrying out your instructions.”
Crisp. Professional. Dedicated. Confident.
Were the situation otherwise, Arkous would have been enormously pleased with such a servant.
“Good.” He nodded, feigning satisfaction.
As he started to reconsider the webs of his plans, a stray strand caught his attention.
“One last thing. Inform Lord Goh to get that report to me as soon as possible. He’ll know the one.”
Beniko nodded in assent.
“Of course, my lord.”
“Then that will be all, Lana.” He said in dismissal, his chair rotating until he had turned away from his advisor.
“My lord.” She bowed and turned away, heading for the exit. He heard the door seal itself shut behind her a moment later.
Finally alone, Arkous fumed at the lost opportunity of the Undying. He had planned to steal the ship himself with the assistance of the Order, and now he had to consider the possibility of yet another player on the board, putting the Master’s plans at risk.
There was still time to revise his plans around this setback. Perhaps he would even have the opportunity to see Darok again.
For now, he would have to watch his back – and his chief advisor – carefully.
Author’s Notes: The Undying makes its sole appearance in the Star Wars: The Old Republic - The Lost Suns limited series and graphic novel. Its one of several superweapon prototypes Theron Shan discovers before the destruction of the Sun Razer. The Gauntlet and the Silencer both later appear in the SWTOR class stories, while the Ascendant Spear is featured in the Annihilation novel. The Emperor’s Shadow and the Undying are not mentioned outside of the comic, and those absences are loose ends in my mind. I try to tie those off here.
The connection to the previous two chapters may not be obvious at this point, but I hope it becomes clear in time.
Makeb was destroyed in my storyline’s canon; more on that another time.
Lord Goh appears in the Forged Alliances story and is the end-boss in the Republic-sided Assault on Tython flashpoint. He’s most notable for almost never talking in the cutscenes.
The Darth Arkous / Colonel Darok ‘ship is one that’s been going through the fandom for a while, now. I touch on it here.
Thanks for reading, and may the Force be with you.

How To Get 336 Gear Easily In SWTOR 7.X
One of the simplest things to do in SWTOR 7.x is to reach ilevel 336 with blue gear. And you can do this for 1080 FP-1 Stabilizers. Note that any FP-1 stabilizers you earn along the way are independent of how we're going to discuss earning those 1080 FP-1 Stabilizers you need to unlock ilevel 336 item modifications.
The easiest way to earn large blocks of FP-1 Stabilizers is by running flashpoints. Unfortunately, unless you're running master mode, that method is also one of the slowest. That's silly, because you need higher ilevel gear to start master mode yet master mode is where you can get the most FP-1 Stabilzers.
However, there is an alternative. On Carrick Station of Vaiken Spacedock, there is a vendor. It's the basic Conquest Gear Vendor. This vendor can sell you a bag of 200 FP-1 Stabilizers for the price of 500 Conquest Commendation Medals. And this is where it gets interesting.
For every level 75 or higher character on your account, whether you are in a guild or not, if you complete your personal conquest goal, which is 100,000 conquest points, you receive a reward and that reward contains, among other things, 200 conquest commendation medals.
So, using just conquests as input, you would need 3000 Conquest Commendation medals which would convert into 1200 FP-1 stabilizers, which is more than we need for our initial foray into ilevel 336 gear.
Another way to get Conquest Commendation Medals is via heroics. For example, the Drumond Kaas Weekly Heroic Missions, requires you to complete 5 Daily Heroics on Drumond Kaas and for that you receive 40 Conquest Commendation Medals. In addition, each Daily Heroic yields 3 Conquest Commendation Medals. And 500 Conquest Commendation Medals turn into 200 FP-1 Stabilizers.
In the end, though, what you want to have is 1080 FP-1 Stabilizers, either by converting Conquest Commendation Medals, or by earning them directly in Flashpoints. And remember, the more level 75+ people you have, the more Conquest Commendation Medals you can earn per week, meaning the more FP-1 Stabilizers you can earn per week.
Once you've achieved a total of 1080 FP-1 Stabilizers, on Fleet (Carrick of Vaiken), you go to the Flashpoint Gear Vendor and purchase one (only one) blue quality accessory. This will use 60 of your FP-1 Stabilizers. You have 1020 FP-1 Stabilizers left at this point.
Next, you turn to the Flashpoint Gear Upgrades vendor. They should offer you one and only one item to upgrade - the ilevel 324 accessory you just purchases a moments ago. Each upgrade will cost 170 FP-1 Stabilizers plus some cash. With 1020 FP-1 Stabilizers left, you can upgrade this accessory to item level 336 and then no more upgrades will be offered.
At this point, take your ilevel 336 blue accessory and move down the hall in the Supply Section of fleet and find two vendors, Hyde and Zeek, standing behind the Level 70 Modification Vendor.
First you talk to Hyde, go through the dialog until you are offered a mission, then accept the mission for item level 336 Prototype modifications.
Now that you have the mission, you can disassemble your item level 336 blue accessory, which will complete the mission you just got from Hyde. Once that mission is complete, you can now access Zeek's inventory that he has for sale. Zeek sells armorings, mods, enhancements, and either barrels or hilts depending on the type of character you are. If you use a force sensitive class for this mission, it will unlock hilts. If you use a tech class for this mission, it will unlock barrels.
Now you can purchase all the item level 336 item modifications for moddable gear that you want (and can afford). Even if you change out your weapons and armor to take 336 item modifications, you'll still have ilevel 324 enhancements and or your overall gear rating will be in the low 330s.
Note there is no easy upgrade path for accessories so you'll have to grind out FP-1 stabilizers to upgrade those 1 at a time. But for that, focus on your main's accessories. Upgrade those first to 336 then you'll start getting item level 336 accessories as drops, which you can share back to your alts.

Imperial Space
Nine awoke to a chime from her holopad. Please be nothing she willed to herself as she rolled over to check the pad, wincing at the blinding light as her eyes adjusted to read the message.
Kriffing hell
“Darth Arkous has requested your presence at Vaiken Spacedock to discuss a matter of utmost urgency.”
Nine hated sith, even more, she hated interacting with the Dark Council.
Call her prejudiced but, every sith she had met had tried to kill her, or someone else in her presence, and that really wasn’t what she wanted out of her morning.
That whole ordeal with Jadus had cemented her opinion.
And Darth Zhorrid certainly didn't help.
Or Lord Razer.
Really no sith had helped that perception.
“Arkous isn’t Jadus,” she gently chided herself “And you aren’t the same agent anymore,” The Black Codex had given her significant freedom but she doubted that the Empire would ever let her escape entirely. Working as a free agent, defending it from the shadows often as Marr’s beck and call was much preferred after the chaos of Corellia but, there was still a small part of her that wanted more.
Rolling off the bed, Nine headed towards the small refresher in the corner of her quarters. Fortunately, the Eidolon was already docked at Vaiken giving her extra time to prep for this meeting. While she hadn’t met the Dark Council member before, she assumed the meeting was no more than a power move, much like the many meeting Zhorrid required of her. Some light threatening, maybe an attempt on her life, then she’d be on her way.
She finished running a comb through her light brown tresses she opted to leave her hair down for this encounter. I’m not theirs, they no longer dictate my hair, it was a small rebellion, and she knew it was silly but, the small victories were what kept her separate, kept her free. A glance in the mirror to check her uniform and she was on her way.
The Vaiken Spacedock was massive, and almost always crowded. Nine never liked being here but, what it offered necessitated many visits. After elbowing her way through the crowds she managed to make her way to the elevator and steel herself for this visit.
Walking into the small office that served Arkous, Nine was surprised by the group of people she hadn’t expected. In the small office were Darth Arkous, Darth Nox, and 2 other sith that Nine didn’t recognize. Dealing with one sith was dangerous, the tempers that flew with four would hardly end well. Before she could speculate why they were all here, however, a bounty hunter walked signaling for Arkous and a blonde Sith compatriot called for attention.
“I’m sure you’re wondering why you’ve been called,” the blonde sith started. Immediately she was cut off by Darth Nox.
“I do not appreciate petty summons demanding meetings of me,” she snarled yellow eyes glinting, sharply contrasting her blood-red skin. The Pureblood Sith wore her dark hair short, spikey, and wild. She wore long dark robes that obscured her figure. Silver chains hung from her shoulder pads connecting with a large silver medallion that lay in the middle of her chest. When someone was able to electrocute their opponent, silly things like swinging chains could be worn with little risk of an enemy using them. Nine hadn’t had much experience with the Sith, she had just recently risen to her seat after killing Darth Thanaton in a Kaggath. Debacles like that were why the Star Cabal came so close to succeeding. Darth Nox emanated power and rage, a purple haze that flicked with lightning often surrounded her, Nox appeared brash, quick to speak, and quicker to kill.
The blonde sith went pale, and Arkous put out a hand, “Now, now, let’s not threaten anyone before introductions have occurred, This is my advisor, Lana Beniko,” The blonde sith nodded her head. “And I’m sure you all know of Darth Nox,” the dark counselor merely sneered, crossing her arms. “And then there’s the Emperor’s Wrath.”
The smallest of the sith lifted her head. The Wrath was ghostly pale, her long black hair framed her face in soft coils, the rest disappearing into the depths of her hood. Some Sith chose on occasion to hide the corruption of the dark side but, the Wrath left it in full view. Red eyes were framed with dark makeup that jutted out with inky varicose veins that stretched across her face like lightning. She wore a simple blood-red vest that was cropped to reveal further marks down her stomach and lacing her arms. A plain matching skirt obscured the rest of her but, Nine guessed that her whole body was decorated with streaks. Twin lightsabers hung at her hip. Their intention was to look cruel, curved hilts with metal fangs that would hug the blade upon activation. The Emperor’s executioner daunted anything in her path.
The Wrath looked around the room, nodding at Arkous and Lana, then turning to Nox, and Ciera. When she looked at Nine though, she could’ve sworn she saw her hesitate, and her red eyes flickered to brown but, it only lasted an instant before her haughty expression returned. Nine filed this away to analyze later and returned her attention to Arkous.
“And then there are our two newcomers, The Grand Champion of the Hunt, and Cipher Nine of the former Imperial Intelligence.
The Grand Champion was striking. Her hair was a white blonde that she kept loosely braided over her shoulder. Shorter strands formed side-swept bangs softening the woman’s face. Dark brown letters in what appeared to be Mando’a splashed across her face in an intricate tattoo. Her eyes were chocolate brown and surrounded by dark eyeshadow. The woman’s armor was intense, a silver-gray set with sharp edges projecting out from her knees, elbows, and shoulders. The majority of the armor appeared to be made from beskar but, around her waist and thighs, cortex hugged her instead revealing the thin shapely figure that the rest of the armor hid.
The Hunter did a small wave and gruffly added, “Name’s Ciera, nice to meet ya.” When she stuck out her hand to the sith, Nine tried not to smile at their incredulous expressions. When no one responded, Ciera lowered her hand, turned to Nine, and tried again. Gently obliging her, Nine took her hand and shook it firmly. Ciera smiled and turned back to Arkous and Beniko.
“Now that that’s settled, we should dive in, you have both been selected because of the roles you have played in improving and molding the Empire, now we stand on the precipice of a new chapter,” Beniko said, “You’ve been invited here to perform an act once thought impossible: an attack on the Jedi Temple on Tython.” Nine felt the air grow hot and looked over to see the two sith next to her grinning hungrily. “For this mission, the four of you, and your companions will form a strike team to take out the various defenses Tython has erected.”
Lana continued, “Cipher Nine will be working with… Ciera to remove outer defenses,” Nine discretely smiled at Beniko’s discomfort with the casual hunter and continued listening, “Lord Wrath and Darth Nox, the two of you will take care of the actual temple assault, there will be plenty of Jedi Masters serving as the last line so you’ll likely split up to clear the temple.” Instructions continued for quite some time, everyone would take their own crew and had their own responsibilities. The plan actually seemed quite feasible and soon everyone was on their way.

Vaiken Spacedock
Two Weeks Later
Vayna really liked a challenge, she wouldn’t have made it on the Dark Council if she didn’t. The Tython Assault was simple, and the revenge strike to take back Korriban was child’s play. Neither of these was a challenge but, Lana was proving to be downright difficult. At first, the woman blushed incessantly every time Vayna flirted but, when they returned after Korriban, Lana completely ignored her.
Vayna detested being ignored.
She wasn’t left stewing very long though, Lana chimed her the second she hit the elevator. Smirking to herself she listened to her comm. Somewhere private , she mused to herself as she made her way to the cantina. She inferred the urgency in her voice, as nothing more than desire. Vayna was desirable and she was going to show her just how she was the Empire’s only hope .
When she arrived at the cantina, she was disappointed to see the others from the twin assaults. She didn’t mind sharing, she had just hoped their first activity wouldn’t have been group work.  Lana urged them all to sit and from the look on her face, Vayna was starting to realize that this was more business than pleasure.
“I am aware I’ve been more reserved since you’ve returned but, do not mistake my reticence for apathy, I have discovered some troubling things and needed somewhere remotely private to discuss them with you all,” Lana said.
“If you wanted to whisper sweet nothings to me, I really could do without the crowd,” Vayna replied. Almost immediately Lana’s cheeks began to color and the Cipher snapped to look at her with a frown.
“Yes, well, um..., that wasn’t my intention for this meeting you see…” Lana began “There were some suspicious circumstances regarding the invasions of Korriban and Tython.”
“You mean the timing,” the agent answered. Her eyes focused intently on Lana, she seemed much too serious for Vanya, even leaning against the wall, the agent was still stiff as a board. Someone needs to get bent , she thought to herself with a giggle. The rest of the meeting went much the same
Vayna had spaced out significantly but at this point, with how they were droning on, and no matter how pretty Lana was, secret societies dedicated to Revan and conspiracy theories really couldn’t hold her interest. Darth Imperius was more suited for this, any time he uncovered so much as a spindly connection between the history of one really old guy to another really old guy, his eyes would gleam and that would be all he would talk about for weeks. She was suited to power, he was for knowledge, that’s how they worked and now she really regretted not bringing him along to listen to this for her. Hell, even Darth Oculus would’ve been better for this. At least with her pupil-less red eyes, she could at least look like she was paying attention.
Finally, the meeting reached a conclusion, and the hunter and the agent split off almost immediately. Vayna could hardly blame them, willingly hanging around sith was suicidal. While Vayna wasn’t familiar with the Mandalorian she had heard of the atrocities the Dark Council had inflicted on Cipher Nine, her dossier had been one of the few critically important files Darth Nox had been informed of. The approval of mental restraints still sickened her. She absently rubbed her neck, tracing the faded scars she had received as a child. Shock collars were bad but, at least they could be removed, the cipher was forever a slave to her programming.
The Wrath left soon after, nodding to Lana and smirking at Vayna as she made eyes between the two of them. Kalida had never been subtle, especially not when it came to flirting. Her methods of ensnaring her husband had been to barrage him with lewd flirtations till he turned as red as her lightsaber. Vayna doubted Lana would be that easy, but she was thankful for the alone time she had gotten with Lana.
Lana was still nursing her drink when Vayna scooted her chair next to her. Lana eyed her wearily, I guess my efforts have been noticed. Oh well, if lack of subtlety worked for Kalida, maybe it would for her.
“Lana darling,” she purred, “It feels like you’ve been ignoring me, I simply hate being ignored,” her voice had taken a falsetto-like quality. Lana sighed.
“Darth Nox,” she began and Vayna put up a hand. Lana rolled her eyes, “Fine, Vanya,” she continued, “I’ve been a little busy trying to protect the Empire from conspiracy theories, it wasn’t my intention to offend you.” Nox gave pouted her lip.
“Oh but, I am offended, you’ve left me all by my lonesome. What is a girl to think,” Vayna laced her fingers with Lana’s, “Here I was thinking I was nothing more than a plaything,” she raised their entwined hands to her mouth and kissed Lana’s hand, “Something you’d grown tired of, and discarded.” Lana’s bright yellow eyes were focused on her. Nox moved her lips down the side of her pinky, then placed a long kiss on her wrist bone. “I guess I’ll have to try and be more interesting .” Lana inhaled sharply.
“I really don’t think…” Lana tried to interject but Vayna wasn’t done.
“You’re awfully closed off for a Sith. I could help with that.”  Lana pulled her hand away, and her yellow eyes grew bright.
“Just because I don’t go around indulging in every whim, does not mean I need help “unleashing my passions” so please kindly refrain from using nerfshit like that just to get me into bed.” Lana stared at her defiantly. Vayna lifted her nose, unwilling to submit.
“Fine, then what would it take to get you into my bed?” The question was blunt and Vayna knew it would piss her off. Lana pushed up on the table, her face flushed with anger.
“Agh, you’re impossible!” Lana stood and tried to walk away. Vayna slid out of her seat and caught her arm.
“Please stop,” Nox kept her tone free of its usual attitude, and surprisingly, the request had actually worked. Lana paused but did not turn to face her. “I didn’t mean to offend but, you must know I find you ridiculously alluring and I would like to pursue you… er this, with your consent of course.”
Lana at that point was looking at her, her mouth hung open. Sith didn’t make a habit of apologizing, not that this really was an apology,  She hadn’t even said sorry yet. Nox certainly had never tried to apologize but, her head was spinning and Lana’s arm was still in her grasp. My stars, I’ve really lost control of this. Vayna released Lana’s arm and smooth her robes. “I apologize for my behavior, it was most inappropriate, both to you and to the situation at hand.” She had expected Lana to walk away, an arrogant huff maybe. Or perhaps a lecture. Lana seemed like the lecturing type. What she hadn’t expected was for Lana to kiss her.
Vayna was a Darth. She was a member of the Dark Council. She had devoured ghosts. She had survived the destruction of her family, and exile into slavery, and had risen even further heights than her parents had ever hoped to reach. She was strong, resistant to even the most heinous of compulsions, and yet she was boneless.
Lana's soft lips had pressed against hers and she knew nothing else. It took her a minute before she had gathered enough senses to kiss her back. Parting her lips slightly to tease Lana’s lower lip with gentle tugs between her teeth. Her hands snaked around Lana’s waist drawing her closer. Lana had her hands entangled in her short hair, playing with the wild strands, twirling them in her fingers. Vayna drew back and angled her mouth back over Lana’s, drawing the kiss deeper till they were both panting, and out of breath.
“Well now that that’s taken care of, let’s get out of here,” Lana said, smirking as she entwined her fingers with Vayna’s, dragging her out of the cantina.

All credit for the pose goes to the mystery person who drew the above base; sorry I don’t know who you are but I'll update this if I figure it out
Jedi Master Kaosu in the clutches of Darth Vowrawn...
In my head cannon, Jedi knight Kaosu joins my friends consular Merrida for her chapter 1 story. Kaosu is a much stronger fighter whereas Merrida is much stronger with force techniques and is the official* consular for that story. After the Nar Shaddaa mission, Kaosu can see that the healing technique is really taking it’s toll on Merrida and in an attempt to get more information on how to stop the sith plague, ends up using her underworld contacts to get in touch with an imperial moff and request more information.
Kaosu arrives at Vaiken Spacedock to talk to this Moff and Vowrawn happens to be passing through and intercepts her visit. Darth Vowrawn is so amused by Kaosu’s just casually dropping into enemy territory and decides to entertain her request for information in exchange for a few days of her companionship. Then totally seduces her... (not to the dark side though) Kaosu later joins her twin brother for the Jedi knight quest story (Directly after you get Scourge) as they are practically identical and Scourge cannot tell which one is the Jedi of his vision.
If anyone is interested in reading about Kaosu and Vowrawn’s time together, I am currently writing it (one version with the smut and one without) and can post it once finished. It’s mostly just self-indulgent for myself, but always happy share. Eventually I’ll get this shaded, but who knows when that will be.

23-26 of the SWTOR asks?
Ohhh, some fun ones I don't generally think about!!! And some that I do. A good mix!! Thank you so much for the ask, I love this silly little dress up sim, I mean... Star Wars video game.
23. Share some of your favorite quotes/dialogue with us!
I don't think anything is going to ever top one of the Agent-specific dialogues to be found on Ziost; truly, I was so floored it was a voiced, actually in-game line because I almost couldn't have found a better sentence for Tyr's thoughts, and that was
"If that's the case, I think he overestimates the capabilities of the Empire's Intelligence apparatus."
The level of self-dig from this coming from Cipher Nine, successful surviving operative of Imperial Intelligence turned Commander of Sith Intelligence (genuinely not doin' too hot atm, fair enough) is just. The absolute audacity of him to say it to Lana, essentially his boss in Sith Intelligence, is just... It was a truly exquisite experience, lol. Genuinely, I thought I bullshitted that line in my head until I found it in someone's playthrough video.
I also, generally speaking, have a soft spot for Rishi - and Shadow of Revan as a whole is probably my favorite expansion (bonus for number 11, I guess, lol).
Also this moment in the Jedi Consular story on Belsavis. Local Jedi Consular laughs in the face of a prison guard. Another moment where I thought my character was LOSING THEIR MIND. This one wasn't necessarily a specific line of dialogue, but the fact that the Consular was actually laughing in the middle of them being in something they. Probably. Shouldn't be laughing at. I'm not exaggerating when I say I lost my marbles over this one for a good 10 minutes. I barely made it through the rest of the cutscene because I just COULD NOT believe... Like, I got it. That was my reaction, too, buddy, but DAMN. Lmaoooo.
24 & 25. Do you have a primary/preferred stronghold? Mind sharing some screenshots of your stronghold(s)?
So, I'm, generally speaking, not rich enough in SWTOR to own strongholds, much less decorate or unlock them, and if I ever get around to being that rich, in the few times it has occurred, I have usually played dress up first and... yeah, so, lmao. Have been to a guild's setup on Yavin that I really enjoyed, but I haven't yet gotten a character far enough along that I would like that one for, so the only one I own outside of the starting apartments is the Vaiken Spacedock Penthouse, which is coming along. It's not coming out perfectly how I wanted, but it's probably the most I've gotten into decorating to date.

This, possibly unsuprisingly, is meant to be Tyr's space since he's my beloved blorbo main; specifically this is sort of the more private half I have set up for him. The inner room facing the inner Fleet is set up somewhat similarly, but is more the public entertainment space, and the back room is developing into an area meant for Alliance related work and discussion. I'm mildly amused by the double agent having a safehouse/crash area in the middle of the Imperial Fleet because there's no way that wouldn't be highly on his mind, but I imagine it's also for the sake of appearances, mainly. Much of it is still space dedicated primarily to maintaining the facade of Commander and loyal senior Intelligence operative.
26. Who is/are your favorite non-companion NPC(s)?
Yuon Par is actually the best and nobody will change my mind. Out of all of the mentor figures, she's the one that I personally packbonded the most with, for sure, and, to this day, my main Consular loved her to bits. Bapping SWTOR like a cat, what happened to my favorite Jedi Master????? I miss her, Tails....
I also find, perhaps specifically with Tyr, OG Keeper/the eventual Minister of Intelligence intriguing if only because of the sort of personal explanation I have headcanon'ed for Tyr's dynamic with him - a sort of mentor and almost father-figure, though Tyr would have never actually told him this and I doubt either of them really spoke on it, ever.
I could probably populate a list of them almost exclusively from the Jedi Consular and Imperial Agent storylines because I do think they're my ultimate favorites
Honorable mention to Satele Shan, who I distinctly remember being WAY too excited to meet for the first time like I'd known her from something before and for the LIFE of me I cannot remember why I felt like that was just a reference I knew. Also Darmas for being my favorite rat from the Smuggler story. <3 Thanks for making Corellia so interesting, you devil, you. <3

After losing all my progress on Vaiken Spacedock, I started on creating a bounty collection room! It's not finished at all but im pretty proud of what I've done so far. I'll probably change the junkers lights around the carbonite display and might replace them with the orange gree light decos. Top left photo is showing the entryway with the swoop deco.

Fleet Stronghold!
I jumped ahead enough (I earned cartel coins and just fed them back into Galactic Seasons, since I'm certainly not jumping to do the group content and PVP) to get the damned Vaiken Spacedock apartment. In headcanon this is not the Fleet; it's Odessen. And this is actually very close to how I imagine Viri and Lana's housing there to look (albeit with more diverse furniture than I can manage in the game).
This is the main room of the suite - socialization for Viri and Lana's most trusted associates and friends. In the game that's Vette, Somminick Timmns, Suvia Kallig, Jaesa, Taran, Mako, Akaavi, Lucinda, Talos, Jia and Darth Hexid. Nobody else gets to come in here.
Tumblr media
So there's an entire war room and mission control just for the inner circle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Viri and Lana's library.
Tumblr media
This is the one room I'm having issues with. It's meant to be Lana and Viri's sparring room but I can't find enough things I own to make it look authentic, although those beach towels make great "mats."
Tumblr media
Lana and Viri's suite is behind the Sith wall and down a very long hallway filled with their HK droids and other security measures. Which is 100% how I imagine it in headcanon.
Tumblr media
Gree security protecting the doorway, and dinner on the table (the basic lounge arrangement layered with food from the Feast event last autumn).
Tumblr media
The private meditation area.
Tumblr media
The fresher. I didn't throw a shower in here this time because I thought it would be too cluttered.
Tumblr media
The bedroom.
