Hello there~! I I wholeheartedly agree original stories are cool and I'm so glad you asked me about mine ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Quartz Chalice is a high fantasy story I originally came up with way back in like, 2003, but ended up shelving around 2010 because I didn't feel like I had the skills or knowledge to really do it any justice. I picked it back up over this past summer, though, because I missed it too much xD And hooboy, it's going through a lot of changes~

The premise is that a group of six people have to gather pieces of a mythical artifact called the Quartz Chalice in order to save the Moon Goddess from dying after she's been poisoned by someone wanting to steal her power so that they, themselves, can become a god. But what they don't know is that something even worse may happen if they're unable to save the goddess.

The group is made up of:

Princess Ritika Valimas (3/4 orc, 1/4 elf)

High Priest Freyr (1/2 dwarf, 1/4 orc, 1/4 elf. He calls himself a dwelk)

Stablemistress Svena Svadilfari (100% elven berseker)

Tril Far-Wanderer (1/2 elf, 1/2 human)

Princess Eavana Penyllyn (100% human)

High Priest Salae Valimas (1/2 elf, 1/2 orc)

Elves, dwarves, and orcs make up the majority of the world's population, with less than 500 humans remaining. There are also sentient creatures called Ratekzi who were created by the former god of Chaos and Destruction.

Over on my art blog (@art-by-moosie) I've got some pictures I've done of the main cast as well as the gods, but, hopefully in the nearish future, i'll be posting concept art of the various realms and illustrations for the story as well 😊

More redesigns from the high fantasy story I'm reworking~! Queen Calashnak of Za'coát and High Priest Saláé Valimas~ These two are Ritika's parents, though they've been divorced for nearly a century and a half. Ritika mostly chills with her mom, but does spend time up in Daniva with her dad.

Saláé is now engaged to Eavana and will eventually be part of a throuple with her and Tril...who is also his ex.
