LiveArt, NY to Revolutionize Digital-Art Space
LiveArt, a global art platform and community of over 400,000 people backed by Animoca Brands, Binance Labs, and KuCoin Labs, has announced the upcoming release of its historic new digital-art collections from some of the most prominent international artists of the fine-art world. Artists include Chen Man, the leading artist, and photographer who has shot covers for Vogue and GQ, Yue Minjun, the art market star whose work is in the collections of major museums including SFMoMA and the Denver Art Museum, and Mr. StarCity, whose work has sold for six figures at Christie's and Phillips.   Vhils mural in progress in Philadelphia. Exclusive first access and preferential pricing for these collections will be provided through LiveArt's LiveArt X Card which goes live on Wednesday 5th April. The LiveArt X Card is designed to protect art from short-term speculation by ensuring long-term value and accurate price models.   Boris Pevzner, Co-founder and CEO of LiveArt said, "The traditional art world has always understood how to protect value, and we're bringing LiveArt's expertise from that world to Web3." "Our platform's AI-powered art market analytics provide proven accurate pricing models based on decades of fine art pricing data, which removes speculation from the equation. Moreover, the LiveArt X Card will provide users with a powerful ecosystem built around our $ART token."   Vincent Harrison, owner of IV Gallery said, "The $ART ecosystem has been constructed around the utilities connected to buying and holding art and interacting with the art world, embracing creators, collectors, art institutions, and other partners." In addition, LiveArt will be partnering with IV Gallery, whose roster of artists includes some of the biggest names in the digital art space, including Beeple, Pak, WhIsBe, and BossLogic.   He further said, "Acting as a sales platform for the NFT art space is not enough. Marketplaces can play a huge role in helping the Web3 art market mature, bringing even more collectors into the space and driving mainstream adoption, sustainably, for the long term, by simply by supporting, growing, and protecting the artist's careers. LiveArt understands this completely and has the interests of artists in mind, as well as collectors, which is why we're so thrilled to partner with them,"
Exclusive Drops by World-Leading Artists
With new collections each month, collectors have year-round opportunities to discover and acquire works by major artists, with special first looks and allowlist opportunities. Through curation and partnerships, LiveArt ensures that only quality projects are presented on the platform.   Yue Minjun artwork. Photo by Jacob Botter. #StreetArtOnThisDate! On May 7th 2013 I had recently been fired from my brewery job and was finding my way into the art world. I already knew I was moving to Brooklyn in the fall but I was still unsure as to what the hell I would do in art (not much difference from 7 years later 😭). At that point I decided I would say yes to anything art related and that included kicking it with and driving @layqanunayawar around the @haverfordedu campus while he painted this mural for @rjrushmore and the college! It was one or my first hang out and watch paint dry experiences and I remember it like it was yesterday! Shoutout to @flickr for reintroducing the photo timeline so I can easily access all my stored pics! #LnyLnyLny #layqanunayawar #LennyHam #LNY #haverfordcollege #vandalog #rjrushmore #artingwithhalopigg #haverford #phillyburbs (at Haverford College) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_5J58inf5P/?igshid=146b8tfqqdw4r

Well, here it is!! @artinadplaces Ad takeover 52/52: comes from @heatherbenjamin_ . Flip through to see some recent AIAP ad takeovers from other participating artists. We have a few more surprises coming your way (namely an exhibition and a zine TBA). In the meantime, I just want to say thank you to everyone who participated and supported this project. Especially the talented @lunapark, who came out every single week of the last year to photograph our installs and share her wisdom. This started as a day dream after @vandalog and I finally stopped laughing over a ridiculous, massive butt lift billboard next to our apartment. We were like “Okay, but seriously, we all share public space. Why do we have to look at this stupid butt every day?” There’s no real way to reject the messages you see in public space (esp sexist, violent, environmentally destructive ones). Except through civil disobedience. We decided a curated guerrilla anti-ad campaign was an appropriate dissenting reaction. Also, it’s more fun without permission ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ A few emails later (thanks to RJ), we had a dream team of artists and thinkers on board to share their magic and help us create a glimpse of a reality where public space is not visually dominated solely by corporations and product pushing. It’s been a blast culture jamming with y’all. This has been one of the most fun and fulfilling projects. Looking forward to celebrating a year of @artinadplaces with a proper party/exhibition soon!

Surface assemblage for the All Big Letters show at Cantor Fitzgerald gallery on Haverford campus. RJ Vandalog Rushmore put together an exhibit and catalog around theme of the tools, methods, and strategies of Graffiti and “Getting Up”. All these materials were found in Philadelphia and Upstate NY.
This piece is about variety of styles for various surfaces. Numerous tools which can dictate the styles, or visa versa. Or the same stamp on many surfaces, Writer’s choice.”

#ViralVandalsTalks @MU_artspace Eindhoven, 17th June 2017
'This is where graffiti is living right now'
#ViralVandalTalks
17th June 20.00h at the Student Hotel
Thanks to social media, graffiti writers have gained an extra infinite public space that is being used extensively. With #ViralVandals MU Eindhoven presents an exhibition about the second life of graffiti. Going virtually viral replaces the street in the quest for even greater visibility. New forms of expression emerge and the DNA of the scene changes irreversibly.  Also, techniques like virtual and augmented reality are within reach, which can be used to add an extra visual layer to reality.
During #ViralVandalsTalks MU host Isolde Hallensleben will discuss the future of graffiti at the crossroad of the real and virtual world. Local and international movers and shakers from the scene will be our guests, with amongst others: RJ Rushmore (author Viral Art), Good Guy Boris (The Grifters), Matthieu Tremblin, and Mick La Rock.
#ViralVandalsTalks is a program by MU in collaboration EMOVES, Urban Culture Festival Eindhoven, June 16-17-18, 2017.  When: 17 June, 20.00 hrs Where: Student Hotel Eindhoven Tickets: € 10,- (excl. service costs)
There is a limited amount of tickets available, buy your ticket here.

Repost from @jessxsnow - Photo by @Lunapark ✨As a part of @artinadplaces and @vandalog here is a loveletter to the Muslim and immigrant communities created in collaboration with queer Muslim activist, Jordan Alam. The full quote referenced is: "Our ancestors dreamed of us, and bent reality to create us." – @walidahimarisha , editor of Octavia's Brood ✨ Jordan would like to expand on the inspiration behind the image: "To Allah we belong and to Allah we return’ is a rough translation of the dua said at someone’s death. Blessed is this temporary cycle. While we may be impermanent, we are irreplaceable. ”– Jordan Alam ✨ the full graphic is available to download at @amplifierfoundation #nobannowall #artinadplaces #refugeeswelcome #notonemore #jessxsnow #adtakeover #streetart #weareirreplaceable #ourancestorsdreamedofus
