Monkey Fist was the mature villain imho and Ron did kill the Lorwardians, as a matter of fact.
haha, yes. in the craving for new content, folks seem to forget some of what we already got.
let's start with Graduation. and...i want to back up to Clothes Minded actually, because it will always bother my scientific mind that that gets glossed over. and this cements the show even more in the cartoon world... Drakken can't just move the continents. and the flip of a switch can't un-move them either. do i still love the episode? yes. but...it's not. real.
so then in Graduation... Kim's house is destroyed, the entire world is invaded by destructive robots... the final fight we see implies mass devastation by said robots... Ron's heroism saves the world, but...since we're so used to the cartoon world that is spelled out for us again and again...none of this feels all that intense? or not as intense as it should. not till the very end when Shego appears to be badly wounded (but then just gets up again fine later i'm still miffed about that) and Kim is at their mercy do we get that sense of.... okay, this is serious now. and Ron does kill them, the creators confirmed it... but it doesn't have the weight i think it should, because...the show just hasn't been very weighty. and that's okay. KP is KP. don't like it, write fanfic.
but now... Monkey Fist's arc was....i'm gonna call it the closest to BTAS that we got in the show. i make that references because anyone who has seen that show knows... BTAS was full of real-world tragedy, injury, death, themes of loss... themes of people willing to throw it all away for the sake of their desire... over and over again... Monkey Fist was just that.
i mean... it's only fanon and headcanon that MF was restored. for all we know, he's dead and gone. turned to stone for all eternity. you can't get more real world than that. plus, that final episode of his... the threat of death to Kim and Yori and everyone from being turned to stone... for once...FINALLY...easily more than in Graduation (for me at least), we got that sense of real threat. that sense of...maybe the heroes aren't gonna come out and top and we're not just bouncing back to the status quo after this ends. finally, this is serious.
so, yes Anon. Ron did indeed kill the Lorwardians, it's just kind of...overlooked as they hurry to close out the episode and give closure to all the main characters. and MF was in fact the mature villain of the show. he was our Batman villain.

Okay so assuming there is absolutely nothing going on come Halloween night, no ancient threats or out of nowhere invasions or anything, which of the HoM would be up for trick-or-trwating, from most to least hyped?
These 6 would be especially excited for trick-or-treat out of the lot!
Tumblr media
Their trick-or-treating would probably consist of them crashing people's homes (enemies and friends alike) to play some harmless (or not) pranks in the spirit of Halloween.
Randy just in general enjoys Halloween and dressing up. Danny is more excited to have Halloween fun with people not from Amity Park (or more like fun to mess with people who are actually afraid/get scared of ghosts unlike most of Amity citizens). Ben and Jun just likes any excuse to mess with people. While Zak and Rex are all up to have some relatively 'normal' fun with a group of friends (something they didnt have many opportunities for when they were younger).
The other three wouldn't mind joining them, but they would be more excited about hosting a big Halloween Party!
Tumblr media
Kim, Jake and Jenny always sought out more social forms of holiday celebration, and they really would enjoy hosting a big party, open to all of their friends, be they magical, alien or human. Rex would also be incredibly excited (if not to actually host but to participate in it) because it is another 'normal' experience he never had a chance to get before.
Also can you imagine how rad the party would be???
There is also another thing two of them would be very excited about...
Haunted House/Maze.
Tumblr media
Danny and Ben would get into a contest of who could make a better Haunted House/Maze for the party (with some assistance from Randy and Rex).
As I said before, Danny, with all his ghostly powers and expertese would be excited to make a Haunted House for people outside of Amity Park. While Ben would probably rise the challenge to Danny's efforts, saying that he could make a scarier maze.
And the truth is, despite all the ghostly things Danny can do, Ben would make a very decent opposition (and for why, you really need to only refer to Ben 10:AF episode Above and Beyond, that kid can be very sinister lol).
So the party would end up with two haunted mazes, one themed around ghost /spirits /magic, and the other themed around horror movies/sci-fi/aliens, which would fit really well, considering the diversity of their friends. ;D
also i dressed them up like that because
Danny as Phantom, dressed as Fright Knight because i just keep thinking about the dude. Danny as Fenton, a low effort t-shirt because he would be spending more time as Phantom.
Randy as Sorcerer, because despite defeating him, Randy can admit that he was pretty freaking spooky.
Zak as Francis (agent clone boy), because they planned to crash their agency HQ and Zak knew it would annoy Francis.
Jun as Loki of Marvel Variety, because she knows it would annoy Taylor (their universe Loki's demigod son) and it just amuses her in general how popular and different a Marvel Loki is, compared to that Loki she knows and is imprisoned.
Kim as Warmonga, mostly because i wanted to dress her as one of her enemies, but didn't want to go easy way of dressing her up as Shego or Dr. Krakken.
Jenny as Vexus, because Vexus design slaps and i wanted to.
Ben, Rex and Jake went the low-effort easy route (because they are like that), with Jake just freely walking around as Dragon (and people complimenting him on his scaly suit lol), and Ben and Rex transforming freely and whenever the want.

Profiles in Villainy
Doctor Drakken
A self-proclaimed mad scientist, Drew Theodore P. Lipsky, also known as ‘Dr. Drakken,’ is a brilliant inventor and engineer who dreams of world conquest.  He had once been a prized pupil at a prestigious learning academy, yet an embarrassment with a failed experiment resulted in his dropping out, taking on the new name of ‘Drakken’ and dedicating himself to super villainy.  At some point along the way, Drakken’s skin was turned a ghostly shade of blue.  How this came about has never been fully explained.
Although a genius, Drakken’s impulsiveness and delusions of grander have often proved his undoing.  These shortcomings are frequently tempered by Drakken’s loyal lieutenant and bodyguard, Shego.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nonetheless, the villain’s numerous evil schemes have been foiled time and again by the intrepid super secret agent, Kim Possible, along with her partner/sidekick, Ron Stoppable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After near countless evil plots, Drakken found himself having to team up with Kim Possible so to put an end to the global threat posed by the alien Warmonga.  Drakken’s aide proved invaluable and, though he was never able to conquer the earth, he was successful in saving it.
In the aftermath, Drakken and Shego were both issued presidential pardons, nullifying their past criminal records.  Whether or not Dr. Drakken will return to the path of villainy remains to be seen.
The indomitable John DiMaggio provided the voice for Dr. Darken, with the villain first appearing in the premier episode of Kim Possible, airing on June 14th, 2002.

Ok listen, that mobile app game 'Disney Heroes'. I downloaded it to check out the idle and battle animation of Drakgo, but who did my girl dirty by making her battle cry sound like a goat!?!? The attack is LITERALLY called "That's my job!" (Probably in reference to the moment in Maddogs vs Aliens in which she tells Drakken off when Warmonga is bout to get Kim).
THEY COULD'VE SAMPLED THAT QUOTE FROM THE SHOW RIGHT!? JUST PAY ROYALTIES FOR USE OF THE VOICE CLIP. YA'LL ARE -probably- RICH ENOUGH TO DO SO, DISNEY!

Sidekicks
Kim Possible's in universe dialogue includes a lot diverging opinions on sidekicks.
First and most obvious: Every villain condescendingly calls Ron "the sidekick."
Tumblr media
Conversely, heroes mostly maintain a very sidekick positive attitude. Kim deploys Ron, Wade, her mother, and Monique in the position at varying points and they all understand the deal: Kim is the main attraction. When she enlists someone's help, they aren't going into it to advance their own interests or in search of the glory associated with being a "hero." They're there to support Kim, thus the badge of "sidekick" is an honor unto itself.
Ron, at minimum, has a sense of pride about it.
Tumblr media
Kim's reliable stable of wingmen only brings attention to the more interesting point: Shego is the only evil side kick on the show.
Sure, there are some instances where it seems like someone else fulfills the criteria (Lucre was a "protegee"), but the words "evil sidekick" themselves appear to be exclusively reserved for Shego.
Why is Shego the only evil sidekick on the show? Beats me, but a few reasons come to mind.
First, Drakken appears to be the only villain who even wants one and he claims that he has a sidekick three occasions:
#1. Shego: Who we'll come back to.
#2. Warmonga: Called a sidekick by both Drakken and Shego, but who was brought into his employ under false pretenses and who clearly did not understand what the term actually meant.
#3. Remy: A parrot, who was called "sidekick" by Drakken when he was a possessed pirate and was surprisingly disloyal for a bird..
No other villain claims that they have a sidekick Even when Electronique reverse-polarizes Team Go, she refers to them as . . .
Tumblr media
On the flip side, it seems like most of the villains view being a sidekick as an insult. There are plenty of examples where "sidekick" is a used as a term of derision:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thus we have the double whammy as to why villain-circles aren't environments where evil sidekicks thrive: no one wants one and no one wants to be one.
So, back to Shego. Why is she a sidekick?
Tumblr media
Throughout the series, she is loathe to call herself the S-Word. She only says that she used to be an underestimated one in Sitch in Time and she implies that she was Drakken's sidekick pre-prison in Mad Dogs and Aliens (but isn't anymore). When Drakken asks for "sidekick enthusiasm' in Dimension Twist, she gives possibly the most sarcastic response since the invention of the art.
Tumblr media
She actually only definitively calls herself Drakken's sidekick one time: in the middle of his rant, when she thinks she's being replaced, after she had already said that she isn't his sidekick anymore earlier in the episode. Interestingly enough, this is the last time either of them call her a sidekick for the remainder of the series.
Tumblr media
But why was she ever a sidekick? Honestly, I think it just might be a Drakken and Shego thing. They have a strange relationship where she is universally acknowledged as the more competent of the two, but Drakken is the one who is in charge. Would Drakken ever let himself take orders from Shego sans obedience collar? No. Would Shego ever let Drakken treat her like a henchman? Double no. So "evil sidekick" is where they landed. Sure, Drakken assigns the label to Warmonga, but just you try and tell me that he wasn't doing so to fill a Shego-sized hole in his heart.
Maybe for them, Shego started as a sidekick because that's the only word they could think of for their stupid-ass relationship. It keeps them together, so that's what they roll with . . . even if Drakken does not understand how his interactions with sidekicks may -ahem- come across.

Shego- “I'm not gonna let this she-thing waltz in here and destroy Kimmy, that's my job, you hear me!“ “SO PACK UR SHIT AND BACK OFF BLUE BOY.. YOU..BIG..GREEN..BITCH!!”        Drakken- “sh-Shego.. the kids watching”
shego- “SHUT UP, WHAT KIND OF DUMB B PLOT IS THIS ANYWAY?!  ALIENS?! REALLY?!”  this is just funny edit I made. I feel like whenever shows have a jealous partner moment their excuse why they aren't jealous isn't exactly a lie cause it’s usually not mutually exclusive along with what they’re denying. and of all the things that stood out about Warmonga “the 9 foot green alien”, to the queen of insults it was only that she was a women. seem pretty sus. lol

Hello, pal. I love your comic!! I have a question, if you don't mind. You see, in the side of the bad guys there are a lot of aliens (Vilgax, Modula, Vexus...) and Plasmius, who ended up in space. So, any chance that Warhok and Warmonga (Kim Possible's final enemies) will join the club too?
If you recall, they got blown-up big time on Earth at the end of KP, so they won’t be showing up any time soon, lol

What would you change about the Kim Possible finale? I felt like the Lawardians didn't belong. They weren't even Kim's villains.
hmmmm... considering that Graduation alternates with Mad Dogs and Aliens as my favorite episode....XD
the lorwardians were clearly a means to an end, from the writer's point of view. but to your point of them not being Kim's villains... Kim...never really had an arch-foe? Drakken was called that from season one, but... what IS an arch-foe? with Batman and The Joker you have this...intellectual and psychological war going on. Darth Vader and everyone he wronged... (Luke, Obi-Wan...) Kim just...didn't have an arch-foe? there was never that psychology going on, nothing that...pulled at Kim from any villain...
Ron had Monkey Fist but only to an extent. and it was more on MF's side and more out of coincidence. Ron became the monkey master and his adoptive sister is part of the monkey lore, unexplained though it may have been... but MF's beef was never really with Ron, he didn't target him. he kept on his own goals and Kim and Ron just always happened to show up. and Ron didn't have anything with MF, he was just...on his own journey of self-discovery and growth in the mystic monkey powers.
who did Kim have? Shego was the closest, and she was just a rival in combat and witty banter. there was nothing deeper there. i love to headcanon stuff on Shego's end of it, but i can't project that into what was actually onscreen.
so to the original argument... the Lorwardians fit the bill best because probably any other villain would have felt like a let-down. to elevate them up to season finale material would have likely been out of character, felt like it came way out of left field... so the Lorwardians presenting this global threat lets us focus on the essence of how the heroine began. Kim Possible: she can do anything. even defeat invincible aliens perhaps.
by depersonalizing it (and there was nothing to personalize with her normal villains) it puts the focus much more on Kim as a character. and at this point, Drakken and Shego are the other main characters let's face it. much more even than monique, the tweebs, bonnie... so to have the main four fighting the aliens was the perfect finale. we got character moments/development in everyone, some more than others... the relationship between Kim and Ron was the main focus here, more than Kim's individual growth.
and i know this has been a complaint for a long time, one that i've agreed with at times and touched upon... that Kim just didn't have much growth. well...she wasn't given many flaws outside what's normal for a teenager. she overcame most of those things... the brief moment between her and Ron where she tells him she's scared too... well, that's fully in character. it would be out of character to see Kim suddenly dive into some identity crisis like in the LAM.
honestly, i thought Graduation was perfect. Kim is her usual amazing self. Ron reaches his peak and Kim sees what she's always known about him, in his reaching his potential. Drakken's genius finally gets recognized. Shego does take a little more of a leading role (see the last ask answer) and is elevated above side-kick at least in how the vibe of the episode goes, and of course that glorious ending... (oops is my shipper heart showing lol). the Lorwardian threat was also perfect because it was a real, genuine threat. not just the usual...villain of the week that we would have viewed any of the others to be.
i know this answer has gone all over the place, i'm sorry. but i guess to summarize... the Lorwardians were perfect because of the real threat they provided, so it felt like finale material. any of the usual villains wouldn't have felt that way. and some totally new villain that hadn't been set-up before like the Lorwardians had would have felt worse. with these guys, we already knew how dangerous and unstoppable they were. and they did target Kim and Drakken so there's the...specific threat against our hero that we want, the personalization. and everyone came out of the episode with something, with some growth or some moment of resolution. it felt great in its entirety and just thinking about it to answer this ask makes me desperately want to watch the episode again, thank you kind Anon for getting me hyped up!

Crazy thought on the "Great Blue" alluded to by Warmonga, it's either Ron the monkey master who turns blue ,OR Hego....who also glows blue.
