If I binge/overeat I feel fat and disgusting even if at most I gained like 2 lbs one of which is probably water retention. But I feel like everyone can SEE that I've been disgusting, even random ppl on the bus. So I behave like I'm disgusting: I keep eating crap till I feel physical discomfort, I don't shower/brush my teeth (I know...), I don't get out of the house and if I have to I'll wear crappy, baggy clothes, I don't do my skincare, I won't be productive in any sense, I ignore my friends, I avoid looking at myself in mirrors etc.
THIS is what having an eating disorder means. Food controlling your life. Not just "oh she's not hungry/she can't eat/she wants to lose weight"
