“I’M SORRY I CALLED YOU A MEATLOAF, JACK!”
Halloween is almost upon us and when it’s spooky season, I love to watch horror movies to properly set the mood!
I adore a good creature feature especially if it is a werewolf and there has never been a more chilling, gut wrenching transformation on screen quite like David’s in American Werewolf in London.
(Hemlock Grove is a very close second with transformation effects!)

I'm throwing Good Omens tags on this as after my Crowley drawing the other day I really wanted to try Aziraphale, however I'm not sure my current abilities are up to the amount of fine detail required - as other artists have noted, he has quite a challenging face to draw, and I'm still in the process of re-learning this skill!
So, another Michael Sheen role that I love - Lucian in Underworld. I saw this movie when it was first released in 2003 and he instantly became my favourite character! The amount of shadow in my reference pic is a lot more forgiving, and GO fans who are unfamiliar with Underworld might be interested to see MS in dark mode 😁
Remember how Neil Gaiman said the interpretation of Crowley would have been a lot more sinister if they'd gone ahead with the original plan to have Michael play him...

BEWARE THE MOON
I recently watched An American Werewolf in London after many years and I just loved how creepy the werewolf design is. Out of all the werewolf movies I’ve seen with suits, I liked this one’s design the most - fluffy and full of fangs. And one of the best FX makeup transformation scenes.
