Head canon... I'm not so sure what headcanons are, but if I correctly understand the concept... I guess I have several, but right now I can only remember one. ^^

Of course is Megatron/Soundwave for I'm chronically ill.☠️

I think I should warn you is a spicy one.

They're sexless creatures but are into feti....shh....ism like B ⛓️ ...D🧤.. S...🔪... M 🐕‍🦺 regardless, because of the symbolism and parafernalia. It's a way of interaction between them that very much suit their natures, adequate to the kind of hard, slightly cold way in which they treat each other, but actually deep and inherently trusting. It allows contact that is not bounded by kindness or sweetness alone, since I'm not sailing with the flag that they're the most schmaltzy lovers in the universe. It's, on the contrary, demanding. It also involves worshiping and a string of practices that would appeal to Megatron's insatiable nature, and could be adapted to not gen-1-tal sensorial stimulus, since they don't have that.

Hopefully this is understandable enough (I have to censor everything slightly "too adult" otherwise my posts end into exile).

Pixie HELLO 👋 and you had to come with the difficult question 😂😂🫠

I thought about this, and...I don't know? Like, do these count as unpopular opinions? (The last one definitely does I think, LOL)

In Inuyasha, maybe that I don't really like when Koga is made out to be a bad guy? Love him or hate him, I really don't think he'd be a dick to Kagome. The man stopped eating people for her!! He's not going to be mean or abusive to her.

Other fandoms...

In BNHA, I ship Todoroki with Momo, but really it's hard for me to write romance for him. He's probably my favorite character, but WOW he's kind of boring to write? I've only done two fics with him as part of the main ship, and the second one I really struggled because I just don't see him as romantic. Maybe someday I'll figure it out 😂

And...Haikyuu...I know he's super popular but I don't get what is special about Sakusa 🫣 It could be that I just haven't found the fic yet that shows me, but right now I just don't see it. Sorry 😢

🥤: man there are so many good ones. But here are some of my favs:

Penumbra in the X-Files fandom is probably one of the best fanfic authors I've ever read. Her lyrical writing is enchanting and mesmerizing. Parabiosis by her literally changed my life, changed my writing and how I looked at the x-files. (Also, that fic is literally like 20 years old now and still stands the test of time.

For Battlestar Galactica I have had a soft spot for Bugsfic since I was in college. Sadly, most of her work is only on LJ... rip

And of course, I adore missparkers works. where i'm going now, i don't know is probably one of the best depictions of depression I've ever read. Plus, i sob like a baby each time i read it.

🎨: so I am trash at remembering fanart, so I'm gonna post a picture of an X-Files piece I have hanging up in my office. It's by the amazing Gabrielle Burke, but sadly I don't think this particular piece is on her insta.

🧩 - I have two pet peeves. 1) Awful formatting. I can overlook some small stuff, but if the author doesn't take the time to put like at least a darn space between the paragraphs, i physically can't read it. 2) Bad spelling mistakes. Can't do it. That's why spellcheck exists.

🕯️ ⇢ on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy editing? why is that?

I see writing the same way most other women in my life have described pregnancy. It sucks to get everything together at the beginning, even if you're happy you're writing. Then you go through a period where everything's great and working and you feel the best you've ever felt. And then everything goes blergh again when you have to tie it all together. But once it's done and you're looking at your baby, ahem, story, it's perfect and you would do it all again. I give it a 6. But if I'd just popped a fic, that's be a 10, no doubt.

This isn't uncommon at all, but my headcanon for Jate is that Kate was pregnant with Jack's baby that last season and that she gets to have a piece of him, even though he's gone.

"She’s only half conscious. He pulls her out. Yadda yadda, treatment stuff." - this, my friends, is how I talk to myself when I'm outlining things.

It's rare for me to pin point what it is. Because I could sit here and point things that bother me, but there are fics that are amazing and I've devoured despite those things. I think what bothers me most is when it looks like someone didn't put effort into it. Which is... not how fanfic usually goes, because people who write fic are usually SO IN LOVE with a show or a pairing that they want to share all the things they can't stop thinking about with other people. Or when something just sounds so out of character that it takes me out of the experience.

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction?

The short answer: because of 6 years of writer's block. The long answer: the very first fanfic I wrote with the intention of posting it was for Doctor Who. I'd discovered a lovely community of Ten/Donna fans and they were all having such a great time posting their fics on Livejournal. At the time, I was 6 years into the most horrible writer's block ever. I'd always written my own stories since I was a kid, had a little success with getting some short stories published in my teens, then all of the sudden... nothing. My writing just shut down. But the desire to get in the sandbox and play along with my Ten/Donna fans was SO strong, I told myself I could write a drabble. Just 100 words so I had something to contribute. And I did. Here it is from when I reposted my DW fic to my AO3 (originally written in 2008) "Sometimes, No, It Doesn't." Just a teeny little ficlet but what it represented was so much more. I got my writing back, thanks to these 100 words and the amazing Doctor/Donna community! *hugs* 🤗💖

❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?

Hn, this one is tough because, as a reader, a lot of times I don't know what I want to read until I discover it, lol! If I start thinking about themes and plots, I end up prompting myself to try and write them (for better or worse, lol) but when I'm reading, I honestly love the adventure of "I had no idea I needed to read this but WOW do I need to read this immediately, if not sooner!" when I come across a fic description.

Because I kinda failed at this answer, here's an emoji pirate ship (because adorable!) as compensation...

Underlying bigotry/hatred/disdain for people or groups of people. That's not to say that characters can't be bigots or generally pieces of shit, but when the underlying attitude of the fic is shitty I'm noping out.

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction?

When I was a teenager, I wrote some truly awful self-insert Death Note fanfic on fanfiction.net, which was unknowingly an enemies to lovers with L 🫣 then I didn’t touch fanfic for over a decade and honestly can’t remember what compelled me back to it for BG3, I think the Rolan brain rot was just too strong.

🌿 ⇢ give some advice on writer's block and low creativity

Something my creative writing teacher always said was that writers block wasn’t really real, just write literally anything and it’ll go away. I don’t 100% agree with that, but I do think there is an element of forcing yourself through it - if we only wrote when we were inspired, we’d end up not writing very much at all. As for finding inspiration to be creative - Read! Listen to music! Look at art! You might find inspo in the unlikeliest thing.

I have so many artists I love it’s ridiculous, this would have to be a 10k words post filled with nothing but tags. Their Tav x Shadowheart pairing and all their modern AUs in particular warmed my heart so much.❤️

🧩 What will make you click away from a fanfiction immediately?

The two big ones typically are if they write a character in a way I just don't mesh with or if I run across something that should've been tagged and wasn't. And by that I mean something that I have filtered and/or avoid.

☁️ What made you choose your username?

It's from an old game on the Super Nintendo called Earthbound! Probably in my top five favorite games, it's a very fun and silly rpg.

🦴 Is there a piece of media that inspires your writing? 

Oh there are lots! Especially with doing all the AU's that I do. So it really depends on the story. Some are kind of silly though. For instance the steampunk au I'm working on I thought of after playing Animal Crossing one morning and found a steampunk outfit you could buy in the game 😅 And then it spiraled out of control (like most things I start writing these days).

Answered this one here and here but here is another: After Andrea met TK and really started opening up her heart and mind to Carlos being gay and in love with another man, she began seeking out queer art, books, shows, so she could learn more about the community her son is a part of. Carlos recommends and lends her things! I touch on this in my fic Wrestling Angels.

🏜️ ⇢ what’s your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

I love it when an aspect or overall theme leads a reader to discuss something and it gets a bit more personal and chatty. Fire Island and Sweet Dreams and Flying Machines led to comments in which people shared their memories and feelings about the AIDS crisis and about 9/11 respectively. I guess it makes it seem like the fic has a bit more 'social impact' in a way. It's quite amazing when that happens.

@heartstringsduet your comment on Afterglow of a Supernova basically changed my life in that it made me instantly more confident in my writing, like it represented a turning point in how I felt about it, and you've always been in my corner. And you've made art for my fics???!!!

Well, assuming there are no ships, themes or tags that would keep me from even clicking the fic in the first place: too little use of paragraphs. If I open a fic and I'm met with walls of text, my brain goes 'Nope' and I exit the fic immediately. My brain cannot compute big walls of text in fics.
