Title: Exploring IPTV Without Subscription: Is It Possible?
In the world of digital entertainment, IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) has emerged as a popular choice for accessing a wide range of TV channels and on-demand content. However, many individuals are seeking alternatives to traditional IPTV subscriptions, particularly those looking to avoid recurring fees and commitments. In this blog post, we'll delve into the concept of "IPTV zonder abonnement" (IPTV without subscription) and explore whether it's a viable option for consumers.
Understanding IPTV Zonder Abonnement
"IPTV zonder abonnement" refers to the idea of accessing IPTV content without the need for a subscription or recurring payments. This can be appealing to individuals who prefer a more flexible and cost-effective approach to consuming television content.
Is It Possible?
While the concept of IPTV without subscription may sound enticing, it's essential to understand the limitations and potential risks associated with it. IPTV providers typically require users to subscribe to their services, granting access to their content library in exchange for a monthly or yearly fee. Without a subscription, accessing licensed IPTV content legally may be challenging.
Legal Considerations
It's important to emphasize the importance of legality when exploring IPTV options. Unauthorized IPTV services that offer access to copyrighted content without proper licensing may infringe upon intellectual property rights and violate copyright laws. Engaging in such activities could result in legal consequences and penalties.
Alternatives to Subscription-Based IPTV
While accessing licensed IPTV content without a subscription may be challenging, there are alternative options available for individuals seeking cost-effective entertainment solutions:
Free IPTV Services: Some IPTV providers offer free, ad-supported channels and content libraries. While the selection may be limited, it's a legitimate option for users looking to access IPTV content without paying a subscription fee.
Over-the-Air (OTA) Antenna: OTA antennas allow users to access local broadcast channels over the airwaves, providing access to a variety of free TV channels without the need for a subscription.
Streaming Platforms: Subscription-based streaming platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video offer a wide range of TV shows, movies, and original content for a monthly fee. While not IPTV in the traditional sense, these platforms provide an extensive selection of entertainment options.
Conclusion
While the concept of IPTV zonder abonnement may seem appealing, accessing licensed IPTV content legally without a subscription can be challenging. It's essential for consumers to prioritize legality and consider alternative entertainment options that offer value without compromising on copyright compliance. By exploring legitimate alternatives and understanding the legal implications, individuals can make informed decisions about their IPTV viewing experience.

~When I tell you XO Kitty is still feeding me... I’m still screamin’....  The first row is the I Been Knew crew (Q, Madison, Yuri).  The body language they feed me in each instance is perfection.
Q, hand at his throat for the pearls he wants to clutch cause this ninja Minho is stalkin’ Kitty and he had the nerve to offer his receipts.  Ninja you been keeping an eye on another mans woman, the one you claim you hate.  From the moment she left their room Minho been looking out for her.  This is no fetish, you have fallen.  Been knew.
Madison, versatile player in this game to get her results.  “It’s ok not to want that” the smile of advantage on her face... Until then let me entertain you.  She waited him out, her Pokemon collection strategy is fierce.  Home girl been knew.
Yuri, girl you know that ain’t Finals... but I appreciate the attempt.  That face is not just her feeling bad about the way Kitty was treated.  Her face reads what’s gotten into Minho, you too protective of something that’s not yours.  You must like Kitty to be this vocal (plus the nature walk).  The eyes don’t lie.  Been Knew.
~The second row, the river of Dae-nial (He’s not the one)... Them 3 (Minho, Kitty, Dae) is giving the lazy river a run for it’s money cause they all want to act like they don’t know what’s happening... moving slowly towards their true emotions.
Minho, don’t act all shy and turn away... say you want her with your whole chest, just as you did with she’s staking you.  Don’t give bedroom eyes and clear your throat like you don’t feel it too, speak it into fruition.  Step to her, “Dibidibidis My name is Minho...“(Shinee) and I love you.  He had respect for Dae to wait.
Kitty, look it...she had to blink so hard to make sure she was still alive.  Her Kitty cells are running around malfunctioning.  Holding back the laughter and joy from that Minho chest Touch Touch.  The smile, the fireworks moment of caring about a person with no hidden agenda.  Dive in.  You owe Dae nothing.
Dae, don’t stop... keep walking your way out of your relationship.  He’s mad at himself cause Minho was spittin’ facts.  Fix yah face.  The reality is Minho cares about Kitty’s feelings while he’s absent present.  In love with the idea of being in love, is not enough.  Your status is Pen Pal.
They all delivered more than the written word.  Bravo.  When the truth strikes a chord you can’t run from it...

Why didn't netflix hire korean biracial girls to play Lara Jean and Kitty in To All the Boys I've Loved Before trilogy and XO Kitty? Lana Condor is a Vietnamese American and Anna Cathcart is Chinese descent. Also, Margot Covey was played by a half Hawaiian and half Chinese actress. The actresses are great but😭
I know what you mean nonny!!!! I honestly don't think it's an excuse but 6 years ago when this franchise was cast there was less scrutiny about racial casting.

thoughts on xo kitty:
ok first of all i did not expect to get so invested, especially when the plot is kinda mediocre LMAO - definitely got a lot better as it went on but i had a lot of issues with kitty’s character? i felt like her development was paced really weirdly and a lot of stuff that happened was just to move the plot along at the expense of her personality - i love dae!! fully do not understand the hate. definitely agree that him and kitty don’t work together but he’s so sweet and such a good friend and most of the miscommunication that happened was NOT his fault (he literally had to sign an NDA...), yes he had his issues but given he’s a teenager in the situation he was in, he definitely could’ve handled it worse - some of the writing bothered me so bad omg like minho ending up with madison?? i get that he had a whole self-discovery plotline but idk the whole setup with madison as a koreaboo made me so uncomfortable.. if they just took that part out of madison’s character it would’ve been way more enjoyable to watch idk :/ the writing also definitely took away from the acting, the cast did great but some of those moments were just too painful to watch - highkey felt like there was too much going on with the plot. like they introduced so many different conflicts and ideas and it made it hard to get invested sometimes - i ended up rlly liking yuri!! i love that all the characters had a lot of complexity, and yuri wasn’t a typical ‘mean girl’ which i really appreciated, plus her standing up and coming out to her mom was such a good scene - bisexual kitty was such a twist and i’m so here for it, i think it was set up really well and i can’t believe i got straightbaited by netflix. definitely related to her struggle as a bi person myself! it did suck that dae got hurt in the process b/c kitty was basically emotionally cheating on him :( but i think it was rlly important to show what discovering and exploring your sexuality is like

TV Shows/Dramas watched in 2023
XO, Kitty (2023, USA/South Korea)
Creator: Jenny Han
Directors: Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky & Katina Medina Mora
Mini-review:
I was a big fan of the To All The Boys series (both books and movies), but I must say I have somewhat mixed feelings about this show. For starters, it is too cheesy. Yes, the TATB trilogy was also cheesy, but in the movies that came across as charming, while here it's a bit cringey. Also, it's pretty obvious they tried to give the show a "western K-drama" kind of vibe, and it doesn't really work. For example, the cinematography feels really lifeless and bland, and things like that make me think Netflix didn't spend much money here. That being said, there is one thing this show did better than any k-drama in existence: the representation. It's beautiful to see such a wide variety of sexualities, cultures and races in a show set in South Korea.
I also loved the cast. It's obvious they had a great time filming the show and portraying these characters, and their energy is very infectious. The show is worth a watch based on the characters and their interactions alone. Among them, I enjoyed Sang Heon Lee's and Gia Kim's performances the most, and I'd love to see them in tons of projects going forward. Tbh, there are times where the writing is all over the place, and the characters change their minds constantly in ways that make little sense, but it's so fun to watch that I could sort of ignore all the inconsistencies. I have to admit I was pretty invested in these characters by the time I finished the last episode, so I would definitely like to see a second season.

Netflix’s Viewership Data On ‘Shadow And Bone’ & Other Cancellations – Deadline
Netflix’s Viewership Data Provides Glimpse Into Renewal Decisions: ‘Shadow And Bone’ Was Most Watched Canceled Series In First Half Of 2023
Nellie Andreeva
December 12, 2023
Streaming giant Netflix has always said that the decisions whether to renew a show or not are based on performance vs. cost. The release today of What We Watched, a Netflix report on global viewed hours for 18,000 titles — original and licensed — from January to June of 2023 provides context on the calls the streamer made for seasons that debuted during that period.
It won’t come as much of a consolation to Shadow and Bone fans, who are still reeling from the fantasy drama’s cancellation after two seasons, but it was the most watched English-language scripted series from that period to get the axe, amassing 192.9M hours viewed from its March 16 debut through end of June to rank #26.
Headshots of (L-R) Ranada Shepard, JB Smoove, Yvette Nicole Brown & Jay Pharoah
Casting
'Good Times' Sets Ranada Shepard As Showrunner; JB Smoove, Yvette Nicole Brown & Jay Pharoah To Star In Netflix's Animated Reboot
Shadow and Bone was one of five series Netflix opted not to continue in November, along with Glamorous and adult animated comedies Agent Elvis, Farzar and Captain Fall. The decision came on the heels of the double Hollywood strikes, which scrambled networks and streamers’ scheduling plans, with shows missing their projected launches to create long gaps between seasons and a pipeline logjam for late 2024 and 2025.
Strike-related delays and the high price tag of Shadow and Bone likely played a role in its demise, despite it also spawning a video game franchise for Netflix.
And while there are other factors beyond performance determining each show’s fate, including cost and awards attention, the streamer’s report reveals Shadow and Bone‘s viewership levels as an approximate threshold for hourlong English-language series from that period to get renewed. (Because data is based on hours viewed, comedies can draw half as many hours for a similar level of performance.)
All series above Shadow and Bone eligible for renewal have been picked up for another season, including Vikings: Valhalla (#22, 205.5M), whose upcoming third season will be its last.
The first new season below Shadow and Bone S2, Sweet Tooth (S2, #28) which posted 182.3M hours, has been renewed for a third and final season. The next English-language scripted series, Sex/Life S2 (#31, 175.5M) has been canceled, as were other dramas lower on the list whose seasons launched within the January-June window.
Data for Glamorous is skewed as it premiered in late June, drawing 36.6M hours (#484) for the first nine days of viewing within the measured period.
Netflix has been more lenient with its comedy renewals.
While That ’90s Show S1 ranked #100 with a respectable 95.1M hours viewed for a half-hour show, fellow multi-camera sitcom The Upshaws Part 3, which consisted of 8 episodes vs. 10 for the That ’70s Show sequel, ranked just below #1000 with 21.6M hours. Both have been renewed for additional installments, as has the Rob Lowe’s single-camera comedy Unstable, whose first season ranked #511 with 35.3M hours across 8 episodes.
For comparison, fellow freshman half-hour XO, Kitty (10 eps) logged 200.7M hours to rank #24, the highest for an ongoing comedy to drop a new season from Jan-June 2023.
As for Agent Elvis, featuring Matthew McConaughey as the voice of Elvis Presley, the first season of the animated comedy, which premiered in March, ranked #3306 with a paltry 5.5M hours viewed.
I knew it. Netflix lied. They said Shadow and Bone was unpopular, just to make a play at replacing it with the Queer-centered Six of Crows. I suppose it's for the best. I still enjoy the series, but after all of this, have come to notice that not one couple on that show was allowed to be happy EXCEPT the Queer one.

Review: XO, Kitty
★★★★☆ - 4 stars
"I told you I know matchmaking."
Tumblr media
With XO, Kitty, Jenny Han has yet again created another amazing rom-com full of diversity for teenagers to enjoy. Wonderfully whacky and cheesy in the way every To All The Boys film is, this creative show tells the tale of the youngest Covey sister - Katherine "Kitty" Covey - as she endeavors to find herself (and love) in Korea. After discovering the school her mother attended as a young woman is also the school her boyfriend Dae attends, Kitty applies upon a whim for a scholarship and, to her surprise, is accepted. A mix of a K-drama and your stereotypical rom-com, XO, Kitty is an interesting depiction of the uncertainty of teenage love and life in the modern world. Unexpectedly, as it was something that was certainly not advertised by Netflix upon XO, Kitty's release, is its amazing discussion of the heteronormativity of society. Between all of its bizarre plot lines and comedic gags, this show has a brutally important message of inclusivity and acceptance and, at the forefront, that love is boundless. An extremely dramatic show (in what is frankly an unrealistic way), and with an eccentric cast of characters, it is safe to say this show is bound to make you laugh and smile with how utterly hilarious it is. A binge-worthy Gen-Z-coded TV show, XO, Kitty is utterly perfect if you need a light-hearted comedy to keep you going.

Most of the cast is Korean not just min ho. Dae, Yuri, professor Lee, the school principal. Also the white girl was suppose to represent that cringe koreaboo that most Americans into kpop probably do. Other than that, I’m sure the series didn’t mean to make anyone upset. Of course it’s not going to have an accurate representation of Korean culture even though it was shot in korea and had Korean crew members, it’s still American tv show
I would really be all for it because it'd be great to have a main character like that who can maybe inspire self awareness in the audience. However the show itself kind of shoots itself in the foot if that was the message because for example it did praise Kitty for making a pun on "chingu (friend)" and "chuseok (a very old and culturally important korean holiday)", saying that she "started a new trend". Personally even without everything else, I find that incredibly disrespectful. I pay respect to my dead ancestors during that holiday. What the hell? I don't want some American girl making a crappy pun that a six year old would make and then have everyone praise her for it.
Besides, it claims to portray Korean culture and my problem is even as an American show a lot of people seem to be just eating it up wholesale. If it's representing Korean culture to a wide audience, it should at least somewhat be accurate. At least enough to not be outright horrible. Again, I'll compare this to the Netflix casting of Cleopatra: is anyone saying "well it's not an Egyptian made film so of course it won't be accurate?"
Accuracy and respect to cultures that you depict are different and in my opinion this show lacks both. I'm thankful that there are more Korean actors than I thought in the first place but frankly and personally I find XO, Kitty insulting at worst and impossibly painful to watch at best.

First We Had Emily in Paris, Now We Have Kitty in Seoul
If you are no stranger to the TV Show Emily in Paris, then you are going to find XO, Kitty very similar in terms of the colour palette, the way everything plays out and the incessant amount of drama in a simple 10-episode TV show.
Although that may have sounded like a complain, I did enjoy watching XO, Kitty. As someone who is bilingual, I liked the way this show incorporated both the English and Korean languages almost equally. This is how it should be, cast people who actually fluently speak the language(s) the characters were created to speak. Seriously, some shows make it seem like it's so hard to cast the right people...
Moving on, I loved that despite the fact that KISS is a private school, the writers did not do the cop out move of having just a handful of Asian students when KISS is a Korean school first and foremost. I think now it's safe to say that casting for XO, Kitty was marvellously done.
The writing on the other hand...extremely mediocre. Script was nothing fancy. And if you watch Korean dramas, especially heavy on the romance genre, you would more or less know slow-motion is the center of Korean dramas jokes. XO, Kitty is no stranger to that but goodness gracious, I was cringing more than I thought I would when they tried to do typical romantic Korean drama cues.
There were just too much unnecessary drama. First of all, we really did not need such a complicated love triangle/square/hexagon. I am all for Kitty having her gay awakening moment but the direct and indirect romance surrounding Kitty was redundant. That plotline of Florian and the finals were also...like what was the reason for introducing that obstacle? And then Kitty's final scene with Dae, I hope someone remind the writer(s) this is 2023, we live in the technology age, if there's a phone call from a contact we saved in our phones, we will more or less pick up the call. There's no need to do that whole run in the airport scene, especially since Dae was going to catch Kitty just before she goes in anyway. Last but not least, the final scene. Do I need to repeat myself again? We have enough drama already. Don't get me wrong, I'm for that direction but unfortunately, that last scene will bring forward friendship drama that I am against. All these unnecessary drama felt like it was written for/in the early 2000s, an amateur's job which should not have been because they are not amateurs.
Yes, the writing was atrocious. At least the acting kind of saved the show, the acting and the casting. Personally, I think Anna Cathcart needs to do better. Kitty is known for her sunny personality and sometimes it felt like Cathcart was coming off slightly over-the-top and unnatural. Our other four main leads though, so good. I want to specifically highlight the siblings' acting. Yuri and Minho are not hard to portray but considering this was the actors' first(?) big project, they practically aced it. If I never checked on Lee Sang Heon's filmography, I would not have known XO, Kitty was his first drama. I am not saying their acting was perfection, I'm just saying I get an awkward vibe very easily from actors when they do shows like XO, Kitty with characters like that, but they felt natural 90% of the show so that's a win for me.
Tumblr media
Honestly speaking, who else was hoping for a LJ, Peter or even a Margot cameo? Even if it was just a video call, it would have been better than just Kitty mentioning them...
Yeah, sure I had a ton of complains but at the end of the day, I did enjoy XO, Kitty and am hoping for a season 2 with better writing, please.
Rating: ★★★☆☆
