About the Story:
After five hundred years of peace under the guidance of the five great clans, the cultivation world was devastated by a sudden, terrible war. Song Mingzhen, the son of one of the cultivation world’s leaders, sacrificed himself to bring the war to an end— becoming gravely injured and losing his memories in the process. Five years later, having finally recovered and rejoined society, he hopes to find a new purpose in helping common people and cultivators alike recover from the war— and to move beyond it himself.
Unfortunately, things bound by fate are not so easily disentangled.
Not long after Song Mingzhen’s re-emergence, one of the great clans’ leaders is found murdered, an ancient demonic tool goes missing, and one of the perpetrators of the war, who had been held in custody, has escaped.
Song Mingzhen must now join forces with Ning Feiyun, a young prodigy with a cold temperament and a complicated past, in order to unravel the series of events and track down the fugitive— before it’s too late.
About the Novel:
《Ghosts of the Heart》 is my debut original novel. It is a xuanhuan/xianxia novel, set in a semi-historical Chinese fantasy setting. The genre is mystery, drama, and romance, with a MLM main couple. I began publishing it on patreon in February, 2024, and since then I have been publishing one new chapter every few weeks, though I hope to publish more frequently as I gain support. The entire novel is expected to be quite long, with three main parts currently planned, each part estimated to last a few dozen chapters.
Publishing Details:
The novel will be entirely self-published and released in serialization. Once completed, it will be edited and released as a full digital novel on various self-publishing platforms.
All chapters of the first major story arc (equivalent to a first book or volume) will be released free for all readers after a short paid early-access period. The latter two story arcs are planned to be patrons-only, as of now, so that I can make a living off of my writing as a disabled person.
This work is published under my own Storyteller's Policy(link tba), which allows for-profit derivatives within certain limits. Please contact me directly for further details if you wish to make or publish for-profit derivative works, including fan-sequels or merchandise.
Please support me by becoming a patron if you wish to read my novel and are able to do so! I also have no issue with those who have paid sharing my novel chapters with friends who cannot, as I am very sympathetic to not being able to afford things. I just hope that those who can support me will do so. Thank you!

ok i’ve seen some confusion on the internet regarding the differences between some cnovel specific genres, so here’s a clarification:
Wuxia(武侠): lower fantasy, concerns the adventures of martial artists in ancient china
Xianxia (仙侠): higher fantasy, subgenre of Wuxia, concerns cultivators and supernatural beings
Xuanhuan(玄幻): the highest of high fantasy, subgenre of Xianxia, still concerns magic and supernatural beings, albeit in a more fantastical setting with foreign (aka not chinese) elements
p.s. keep in mind that i’m by no means an authority on this stuff, but that’s the general gist :)

Eternal Love - Overall Review
Tumblr media
It took a few years in the making, but there we are and finally I finished my recaps of this series. It was somewhat challenging since I knew all of the major events to happen, yet I had to make sure not to include them in any of my recaps before it actually happened. My fingers might have slipped here and there, but I truly did my best.
Plot
It’s quite the feat to manage summarizing the story of this drama in a few lines without revealing everything. Let’s just say that this about a love story between two immortals, spanning on three different lives. There is a lot of trials, a lot of pain, but also a lot of magic, in any kind of way you can give to this word. Since elaborating on the plot line itself would risk giving away spoilers, which is not the point of this review, I will focus on the characters and their relationship.
We can all agree that Bai Qian/Si Yin/Susu is the main character of this story. She's there from the beginning to the end. I would like to mention the complexity of this character. At times she's quirky, at others she's an elder that no one would dare confront. What I liked about her is that she's very consistent in her character. She's a proud lady and she won't take being insulted, although she's actually a softy deep down inside and can't really hold a grudge for real, it's only to keep face. She's also extremely loyal. I loved that we got to have a strong lady as a main lead. A strong lady that hates to depend even on her partner, even though she relied maybe a little too much on her master, but that's a different story. She made sense, from A to Z. She wasn't perfect, no she had plenty of flaws, but that's what made her even more relatable and actually admirable. Her relationship with Yehua sometimes evolved weirdly, it felt maybe like we could have used a little more development, but at the same time... it wasn't illogical at all.
And I can't talk about Bai Qian without mentioning Yehua, right? Seriously, that character is everything. I loved how we portrayed his struggles, why he strives so much to please everyone and do the right thing, all the time. It was painful, yet blissful to see his growth, seeing him discover love and happiness along the hardships. The guy was obviously a little too powerful, but I liked the openness he had about his feelings towards Bai Qian, how he was set on one thing and wouldn't change his mind. He needs still to learn about communication, because that would have solved many issues and saved a lot of tears on my part, but he's still young. 70 000 something years old, that ain't that old right?
The one part of the storyline that I really didn't like is the one between Donghua and Fengjiu. My problem isn't that their love isn't fated to be fulfilled, but rather that it's pathetic. To me, Fengjiu liking Donghua doesn't make sense. It feels more like a fan who is mistaken between feelings of love and feelings of admiration. I'm also not a fan of people hanging on to others, even though it's not meant to be, it's just annoying. She kept clinging onto him and I just don't appreciate seeing women portrayed that way.
But let's talk about one my favourite pair of characters: Zhe Yan and Bai Zhen. Those two. Seriously. Who wouldn't like them? It's obvious that they are a little bit more than friends, even though it is never openly said in the drama. But they just fight like an old married couple all the time. I think one of my favourite moment is when Zheyan makes a new arm for Yehua, arguing that it would look bad on his wedding day with Bai Qian if he only had one, and that just totally made sense as an explanation to Bai Zhen, who also agrees. It's just lovely how they always think of each other, in every circumstances. Plus, even though most of the time they are rather carefree, they both are really powerful characters and I think without their help, our main characters would never have found each other.
Li Jing is also a character that has shown a lot of growth during the drama. Perhaps under the influence of Bai Qian. He really broke my heart, because he did try his best, even though that wasn't enough.
Now let's mention the two ladies antagonizing Bai Qian: Xuan Nü and Sujin. Whereas Xuan Nü is pitiful, Sujin is despicable. Both ladies got to grow up next to people who were important, but the first one was always remembered of her low status, while the other one felt entitled to everything. They both tried to take away the men from Bai Qian and both failed. And I must say, I really liked Xuan Nü's character. To be more correct I guess, I must say that I liked disliking her. She's ready to do anything to get whatever she wants and gets delusional in the end. Basically, she created her own hell herself, crafted it one piece at a time. Her downfall was slow, painful and led her to lose her mind. That was actually fabulous in way. On the other hand, Sujin character's didn't impress me as much. She's just a spoiled lying brat who's used to get what she wants, on the pretext that her family died for the celestial group. She has always coveted what doesn't belong to her so yeah. They just made her into an ugly character that didn't have much depth. I don't like female characters like that, because I think it puts woman in a bad light.
Over all, the plot was pretty decent. I remember though when I tried to explain it to my sisters, they thought I was crazy for watching something like this haha. I mean, stuff happens in Chinese dramas sometimes, it's okay. It wasn't perfect and some stuff were very frustrating, but it's an overall 8/10 for me.
Acting
Here, I would say I'm biased. I'm a huge Yang Mi's fan. She's just great. So to me, she did an awesome job, with all the little habits the character has. She keeps pushing them forward and it looks natural. I loved the subtle differences between Susu and Bai Qian, coming from her memory loss. Loved also when she was acting as Xuan Nü stealing Bai Qian's face. You can see that she's talented and polyvalent. There's not a time I didn't believe that what happened. was real.
And I can't say one thing wrong about Zhao Youting's acting either. He was beyond expectations, as Moyuan and Yehua. How much his gaze would mean a lot, you could know what he felt just through his eyes. Both Yehua and Moyuan weren't very expressive characters, mostly cold to anyone but Bai Qian (as they should), but it didn't feel like the usual "I'm trying to look like I'm cold so I'm just not acting". There were nuances all along, making it alive instead of zombie like. You could feel all the warmth those two characters had to offer once they started liking someone. Especially as Yehua, who was a character that grew up with so much pressure on him.
I'm not going to spend too much time on the other characters, because otherwise this review is going to be overly long. However, I still have a few actors to praise. Both Sujin and Xuan Nü did an amazing job, especially Xuan Nü towards the end, when she was on her downfall and getting crazier by the day. Those two ladies, albeit having a not so nice personna did a very good job. They made me feel exactly how I should towards them. Pity, hatred, resentment... All of that. The actor for Siming was also hilarious, while very good at the more serious occasions. Loved loved Alan Yu as Bai Zhen, but this guy is just so precious, I always want to pinch his cheeks in general, but even more so in this character. Do I have to mention baby Ali? That child is soooo adorable. Obviously, they were pretty young back then so it wasn't perfect, but it felt so naive and real, I loved it. Even though I am not a fan of Fengjiu, Dilraba Dilmurat did an awesome job. She's a master at pouting while still looking adorable. We could feel all the melancholy of her character from her unfulfilled romance. She did great also looking all feisty for her aunt when she felt she was being bullied.
The only character I wasn't so fond of his acting was... Gao Weiguang as Donghua. Whereas Zhao Youting portrays beautifully a cold character, it didn't make the cut for me in Donghua's case. It felt very awkward for me. Not to say he didn't do a good job, it's just that compared to Zhao Youting, it didn't stand a chance.
Overall, this drama gets a lot of point for the acting. I didn't even mention all of the wonderful characters, because there are just too many to talk about each of them. However I would say a majority did a stellar job. So this gets a 9/10, losing points for some of the side characters that were a little less enticing.
Soundtrack
I think it is no secret that I just looooove Eternal Love's soundtrack. Both the opening and the ending of the drama are on my playlist, I almost never skip it when it comes along and they both figure on my KTV must sing list. It's just beautiful, it pairs well with the drama and the story. What else can I say?
But it's not all about the opening and the ending. Whenever there was music in this drama, I couldn't help but be delighted. It always was most fitting to the actual action right at that moment. It was perfection. Whenever I heard the notes starting to play, I was right into the feels, it set the tone for whatever was happening. They did an awesome job in my opinion.
Overall, this is a 10/10, it was just perfect. I couldn't ask for anything better than that.
Aesthetic and costumes
So this being an older drama, it's going to lose a little bit of points here. Not because it's bad, it's just... old. If I did my review right when it first aired, the score might have been different, but how well.
Let's first talk about costumes. I would say I loved most of them? It wasn't all perfect, but the costumes really fitted each of the characters personality, and very well at that. I especially enjoyed Yehua's costume and his head pieces. Lexu and Sujin were also beautifully dressed all the time. I think they had the most intricate costumes of the drama. Perhaps alongside with Xuan Nü as she was queen of Yi. I wasn't such a fan of Bai Qian's clothes half of the time. I liked her monocolour clothing more than the multicolour ones. Sometimes the colours kind of didn't fit together and it bothered my eyes. I also couldn't help but think that her headpieces must have been very uncomfortable. But one thing I really liked was the consistency of the hairstyles for the Fox tribe people. Their hair were pulled back in a similar manner for all of them, except Fengjiu and Bai Zhen, for some mysterious reason. I also liked the general simplicity of the costumes for most characters. As much as I like beautiful clothing, I enjoyed that instead of focusing on what they were wearing, I would focus more on their facial expressions and their body language.
About the visuals... There were beautiful scenes (especially in Kunlunxu, Qingqiu and the Peach Blossom forest), but the unfortunate thing was that most of it were painting or pictures and we could see quite clearly the cut around the actors. It wasn't very seamless and kind of ruined part of the thing for me. Also, the beasts and creatures looked really cheap. Probably because they weren't as advanced in that field. But if I look back, it wasn't that much better in Till the End of the Moon which is much more recent. So overall, they really didn't do too bad, right?
So overall, this would be a 7/10, but mostly because it didn't age that well. It's pretty impressive for back then and this is actually a pretty good rating in my opinion.
Should you watch this drama?
I 100% recommend to watch Eternal Love. I think it belongs to the classics in terms of drama, even though it's not that old. It has everything a good story needs. The character development is super interesting. The acting is superior. The story is enticing and of course, there are some toxicity as to be expected of something a little older, but it's not overly present compared to other dramas. Actually, toxic traits during the relationship was something to work on. Seriously, this is a solid 9/10, I watched it twice and if I ever have some more time, I would rewatch without hesitation.

Heaven's Golden Finger - Barbara_Doran
Song Shirong had expected to die. He didn't expect to find himself transported into a new life in an ancient China that never was. He absolutely hadn't expected to find himself with new powers and an elder sect brother who hates his predecessor's guts.
"I know how these things go. Can I have a new character please?"
Read: https://www.wattpad.com/story/176842853-heaven%27s-golden-finger
MC: Song Shirong | ML: Shun (I couldn’t figure out/can’t remember top/bottom)
Setting: Xianxia/xuanhuan with additional western fantasy elements
The MC transmigrates from the modern world to the xianxia world. There is a strong magical beast/magical creature theme, plus the MC saying English words OR the direct [Chinese/in-world] translation that the other characters don’t understand at all 🤣🤣 The western fantasy elements come in as we meet western-fantasy-style creatures later on in the story ^_^
Overall, it’s pretty humorous and lighthearted and a pretty short read compared to other xianxia out there!

001 Prologue
PROLOGUE
-------------
Thick fog was seen moving slowly like a cloud of smoke covering the area and a purplish tinge crossed the cloudy sky like a mystical shawl stretching across the edge of the horizon.
"CROAK--!!!"
"CROAK--!!!"
"CROAK--!!!"
Crowds of flying black crows spread through the air with their croaking sounds.
DING!!!
DING!!!
DING!!!
Suddenly there was a sound of metal clinking.
"Huh! Why are the bells suddenly ringing and there are so many crows?" The man who was sitting at the side of the table weaving a hat from bamboo gasped in surprise when he suddenly heard a clink and the sound of a crow.
"Ugh! Why does it feel so cold today, unlike usual!" Said the man who was seen in a house made of wood that was so old that it was black in color, the wood was taken at the foot of the mountain around the bamboo forest.
Meanwhile, his wife, who was also sitting across the table, was seen embroidering with the help of a oil lamp whose flickering light was refracted on the walls of the house, creating a moving silhouette as the sky outside began to darken. Then the man walked to the window to open it and turned towards the origin of the sound which turned out to be a green bell hanging on the edge of the roof of his wooden house.
Apart from that, the view outside the window showed crowds of crows scattered across the sky at dusk decorated with purplish streaks visible behind the mountains covered in thick fog which the local people called the "Yin Wu Mountains" which slowly seemed to disappear. from sight, because it is covered in thick fog like a dim shadow which sometimes blocks the view of people outside the mountain area, therefore it is given a name like that which means the "Hidden fog mountains", because the mountain area at any time only looks like a stretch of empty land vast and covered in fog. This mountain range, which was located near the border between the Great Eastern Country and the Barbarian tribe's territory, seemed to always be shrouded in thick fog and extremely dense forests. The trees there, especially the pine and banyan trees, are on average very old and hundreds of years old, grow very big and tall, giving a very mysterious impression and a strong mystical aura.
At the foot of the Yin Wu Mountains, there is a remote village that is still considered beautiful, because it is rarely visited by outsiders, unless those people come for a specific purpose. The village was named “Lu Zhong Village” which means “Green Bell Village”. Why is it called Green Bell Village, because in every house in the village, at one end of the front roof of the house, hangs a green bell that has been around since the time of their ancestors. If the wind blows, the bell will sound "DING–DING–DING" with a sound that is quite melodious to hear, but the actual function of the bell is that it will sound if a supernatural creature comes to visit the house.
At that time the atmosphere was still in the house on stilts.
"Oops--! The fog is so thick, my heart doesn't feel good today, could it be--?!" The man said again with his heart beating fast after seeing the scene outside his house and the sky was starting to get dark.
His heart felt uneasy because many crows had appeared, apart from that the sky looked cloudy, there were purple streaks accompanied by thick fog and the temperature was very cold, but there was not the slightest gust of wind which made the atmosphere around him feel strange and eerie.
"It turns out my guess was right!" The man said to his wife again.
"My wife, quickly lock the door!" The man turned to where his wife was sitting, and told her to immediately lock the door to their house.
"Okay!" said the wife, she rushed to put her embroidery on the table, then ran towards the door because she also heard the sound of crows and bells ringing so she understood what her husband meant.
JEGLEG!!!
JEGLEG!!!
The man hurriedly closed and locked all the windows of their house.
CLICK!!!
CLICK!!!
His wife hurriedly ran to the door of their house and immediately locked it by placing two wooden sticks in the middle between the two doors, as was generally the case with ancient house locks.
"Come on, let's quickly hide in the room!" The man said again to his wife.
The man immediately turned off the oil lamp that was outside his bedroom and left one in his own room, turned the knob to slightly dim the flame of the oil lamp so that the light wasn't too bright, then he lay down with his wife on the bed while covering their entire bodies with a blanket from toe to head with a little trembling and a heart pounding fast because of the fear.
"Oh--! The Emperor, Lord of the Yin Wu Mountains, protect me and my wife and all the people of Lu Zhong village, may we all be safe and nothing bad happens!"
The man's mouth seemed to be muttering softly under the blanket but his wife heard it and she said the same thing in her heart.
Meanwhile, the sound of “Ding–Ding–Ding” could also be faintly heard in the distance from their neighbor's house.
When there is no wind, no rain and the Green Bell suddenly rings by itself, the villagers do not dare leave the house, because they know there will be "strangeness" that they will see, if they dare leave the house they might experience disaster. Not everyone can see supernatural beings, unless they are talented and open their inner eyes, but everyone in Lu Zhong's village can see them, from old people to babies.
TAP!!!
TAP!!!
TAP!!
The sound of horse hooves tapping was heard.
It was the 15th of the 7th month, the atmosphere in Lu Zhong village became increasingly foggy and the air temperature around it would also be colder than usual, and the atmosphere became tense, because at that time it was the gateway between the human world and the "Underworld (Unseen World)" the one in the Cave in the middle of the Yin Wu Mountains would open, which was why all the Green Bells in every villager's house would ring by themselves, even though there was no wind blowing to move them. It was as if there was a supernatural force shaking the bells and the villagers would feel like they were in a void like time stopped turning, they were no longer in Lu Zhong village, but were in another world. Apart from the view being blocked by thick fog, you will also feel the gentle breeze carrying the fragrance of kemuning flowers whose flowers and fragrance resemble jasmine flowers, but have tall tree trunks. In the distance, you could also faintly hear the sound of horse hooves, the sound of musical instruments such as trumpets and drums being beaten from the direction of the Yin Wu forest towards the bamboo forest.
"TEEET--!!!"
"DANG--!
DANG! DANG! DANG--!!!"
The sound of trumpets blowing and drums beating.
"Move!"
"Move!"
"Your Majesty is passing by!"
"Move!"
"Move!"
"Your Majesty is passing by!"
The hoarse voice was somewhat resonant and repetitive, more like the moans of a creature from another world.
Out came a procession of royal soldiers wearing armor, carrying swords on their backs and some holding banners. In the middle row, burly men consisting of five people on each side carried a luxurious "Sedan Chair" like royal property. Behind him were several soldiers in armor. Behind the soldier there were several figures of creatures whose shapes were very strange, such as green creatures with slimy skin and long ears pointing upwards, then there was a woman dressed in white whose hair reached her waist, but her tongue looked very long sticking out and it was moving like a snake's tongue. There are also other dwarf humans who have sharp teeth like vampire teeth, there are creatures that walk with bent legs, apart from that there are also creatures that walk with bodies without heads, and so on.
The sedan chair that the ten people were carrying looked very majestic and was surrounded by a golden curtain that was tied to the stretcher pole with black rope and looked like a curtain embroidered with gold thread and on each side decorated with tassels that were always swaying, while inside it was seen a person the young man sat with the charisma of a king. The young man had a very handsome face, white skin and wore a very luxurious gold robe.
If anyone happened to see them, the line of the group looked like flickering shadows and when they walked they seemed to be floating because their feet did not touch the ground. After leaving the path in the bamboo forest and passing through Lu Zhong village, they headed to the edge of the village to eat the offerings offered by the villagers placed near the whirlpool of the Yin Wu River on the outskirts of the village.
The Yin Wu River whose water comes from the Yin Wu Mountains will eventually end up in the whirlpool and be sucked into the hole below the whirlpool, but instead the water flows back up the Yin Wu Mountains and continues into the cave which is the gateway to underworld, strange isn't it? Water usually flows to lower places and cannot flow to higher places by itself. In fact, the water of the Yin Wu River seemed like it would never be able to flow out of Lu Zhong village. The river water from the cave to the boundary of the bamboo forest is inhabited by demon fish that eat human flesh, but the boundary between the bamboo forest and Lu Zhong village seems to have an "Invisible Fence" so that the river water in Lu Zhong village is safe, there are no demon fish, there are only fish that the villagers can eat.
"Have you guys finished enjoying the food? Then, let's go home because it's almost morning!" Said the handsome young man who sat on a Sedan Chair and had the charisma of a king.
“We are finished and ready to carry out His Majesty the Emperor's orders!” The soldiers said in unison with the others.
The Emperor raised his hand as a sign to depart.
TAP!!!
TAP!!!
TAP!!
The sound of horse hooves starting to leave the area was heard.
The sky was still dark, after enjoying the offerings from the villagers, the handsome young man in luxurious robes who turned out to be an Emperor along with soldiers and a convoy of other astral creatures departed from the outskirts of Lu Zhong village to return to the Yin Wu mountains by taking the path they had taken before. It was said that since the time of the ancestors, the villagers of Lu Zhong village were actually protected by this Emperor, the Lord of the Yin Wu Mountains.
In the bamboo forest there is a large black stone with a flat surface called the "BAMBOO FOREST DOUBLE STONE", which is used by village people and immigrants from outside as a place to perform rituals, namely: On the 15th day of the "FULL MOON", they burned three sticks of black fragrant incense, threw white chrysanthemums and black partridges into the river inhabited by demon fish around the "BAMBOO FOREST DOUBLE STONE", as thanks to the Emperor, Lord of the Yin Wu Mountains, for giving fertile land, water abundant, resources that never run out, wood that never rots, and protection if there are bandits coming from outside the village, and on the 1st day (beginning of the month) the "CRESCENT MOON" is believed to have a strong mystical aura and is used for rituals and worshiping idols at a banyan tree to make a pact with the Banyan Tree Demon and asking for something idolatrous by using black incense containing an anesthetic and a bowl of blood.
However, one day the villagers of Lu Zhong were shocked by what happened to the family of a woman whom they now usually call "GRANDMA LIN". At the time of the incident, she was around 38 years old and had no children, while her husband, who was around 40 years old, suddenly died suddenly with a pale, bloodless body. His flesh and skin shrank, as if something was sucking his flesh and blood dry. The neighbors were very shocked and didn't know what was causing it because they had never experienced such an incident before.
After this incident occurred, it turned out that many more victims continued to fall tragically, making the atmosphere in Lu Zhong village become tense, even more mystical and full of mystery.
Why did this terrible thing happen and who did it?

Novoland Floating Heart
I did not realize that Novoland was a series when stumbled upon this comedy. Shi Xue Jing (or Xuejing Shi), shown above, is adorable. And also can mold metal.
"In the chaotic world of the Novoland, Nan Xing, the daughter of the Imperial Master of the Yin Dynasty, died tragically in her boudoir on the day before her wedding, shocking the Eastland. This leads to the investigation of various clans of strange masters, the strong loli Wang Gang happened to encounter the strange "resurrection" of Nan Xing, was taken step by step into the mysterious cave, and became involved in a larger conspiracy."

Eternal Love - Episode 33
Tumblr media
I know, from already having watched the series and read the book that some very unpleasant events are coming. Don’t worry, nothing as painful as when Bai Qian was a poor human stuck in her palace, waiting to give birth to her baby. But still, it makes my blood boil just to think about it. So I’ll try to remain nice, but I don’t make any promises that I will.
Bai Qian fell asleep and when she wakes up, Ali is nowhere to be found. Fortunately, she had the bronze mirror and could see where Ali was... which was in a brothel. He followed a girl in there because a guy forced her in and he wanted to save her. Bai Qian tells him that he has to keep this adventure a secret between the two of them, not let his dad know. Yehua comes just back in time to save Bai Qian that is being harassed by a man. She brushes the incident as something unimportant, he just touched her a little. So he kisses her just a little, that’s fine then right? Then he goes back for the Emperor’s birthday while Bai Qian takes Ali back to Qing Qiu.
Even though I knew what was coming, I’m still so disgusted by Sujin. So her plan was to trick Yuanzhen, the second prince’s son, to her room. There she makes him unconscious and forces him to drink a whole lot of alcohol. She sends her maid asking for help because she’s going to pretend hang herself following being sexually abused by Yuanzhen. Who’s like a teenager, barely. I know I know, they are old and all in terms of years, but he’s still a kid. Like how could you do this to a child? People selfish like Sujin should be banned from existing seriously. I can’t fathom how can one destroy anybody’s life for their own little games. That’s not working hard to earn what you want. You don’t deserve anything. Ugly wench!
Yehua and his uncles are going to his palace where the Emperor is already dealing with the situation. I love how Yehua is just rolling his eyes at Sujin. He’s definitely like: I know you’re full of shit. Why do I still have to deal with you? She’s like please, let me die, please. I wish Yehua could just say alright, go hang yourself, good riddance. Unfortunately, the Emperor won’t let that happen, he likes Sujin too much and trusts her too much. That old dude is always in the way. Poor Yuanzhen, he tries to state the truth, but the Emperor won’t believe him. Of course. He doesn’t know to what lengths Sujin may go to “get” what she wants. So he gets sent to the mortal world to go through a 60 year long trial. The logic of the Emperor “You, his father, left with a woman and I never thought you would do something like that! No wonder your son did something so bad!” That guy... How did he even become the Emperor to begin with? So dumb.
Yehua warns her that next time she does shit like this, he won’t let it slide. The only reason she’s still alive right now is because she has Susu’s eyes in her eye orbits. When she dies, Susu’s eyes die with her. You see how worthless she is to him? And she made herself even more worthless. There you go, your stupid plan worked to perfection, right?
Since as Susu she never had any good memory in the palace, Yehua wants to start over with Bai Qian and have her fall for him. It’s alright she forgot.
More of Donghua and Fengjiu’s love story in the mortal realm. Very boring.
And that is all for today. I’m sorry if I offended any Sujin fan here, but she has no excuse for her behaviour except selfishness unlike other dislikable characters (for example Meng Yao in the Untamed who was an awful person, but I could still pity him for his sad sad sad life). Sujin’s only life problem is that her parents died. She was raised like a princess, sister of the Crown Prince. We can’t say she really has anything to be bitter about. I’m not trying to say that losing your parents is nothing, it’s hard at whatever age you are. But she had a happy life and only her own desires are guiding her.
