אין מילים להפליג בשבחן של נשות הלוחמים. הבורא נותן לנשות החיל האלו כוחות להתעלות מעל כל הקשיים, ומתגלות בארץ אימהות חזקות הנושאות את מנת חלקן בצורה מעוררת השתאות והערכה.

במלחמה הזאת הן נלחמות לא פחות מהגברים, אפילו יותר. כי עיקר הפעולה שלהן לא נעשית ברגליים ואין להן כלי נשק בידיים, אלא רק רצון. ברצון חזק, במחשבה, בדאגה מתמדת הן מחזיקות הכול. תהיו בריאות וחזקות.

РАБАШ, по статье из книги «Ступени лестницы», часть 2.

У тела есть голова, руки и ноги.

У каждого из них есть особая функция.

И все же определяющим является то, что думает голова.

Если есть в голове хорошие расчеты,

то все органы в радости.

А если голова в волнении,

то это настроение присутствует

во всех органах.

Это как в партнерстве:

если каждый выполняет свою функцию,

то все радуются и веселятся.

Но ничего нет без усилия.

Поэтому муж идет и прилагает усилия, и приносит деньги.

Его жена берет эти деньги

и прилагает усилия в том,

что идет и покупает необходимую еду,

готовит и беспокоится о том,

чтобы пища была вкусной.

И тогда они оба радуются,

потому что, если жена вкусно готовит −

у ее мужа появляется желание поесть.

И тогда есть у него силы идти заниматься делами

и приносить деньги.

И, подобно этому,

если ноги идут на улицу

и руки покупают и дают еду мозгу,

то есть у мозга сила думать.

Вывод: развелись, так как я херово готовила.

На самом деле - нет)я хорошо готовила, но я не брала в расчет его личные предпочтения, а только детей. Он не любил кислые салаты с лимоном/чесноком или уксусом, а мы все очень любим. Он мне говорил об этом, а я не хотела слышать и не делала ему, так как он любит. Как оказалось это большой минус не в мою пользу. Можно пополнить этот список.

И так, залог счастливого брака - считайтесь со своими мужчинами и делайте им то, что любят они, чтоб были довольны и сыты.

Вот. Как все просто.

А еще говорят не плохо у его мамы поучиться подходу к нему и кухни. Чего я тоже не сделала в свое время.

When magic returns to Plainview, Yael is the first to be afraid. 

Of course, she’s also been afraid her entire life. 

Once, there was a little girl who stood straight and silent at the barre each week. Yael would watch as her peers laughed and giggled around her, never joining them, only staring forward and doing her exercises as told. She was too nervous for the inevitability that she would say something wrong, that she might even hurt one of them if she lost her temper. It had happened before, a fury taking over that was so unlike the usual temperament of sweet, rational Yael. The last thing she wanted was to hurt anyone-- so she remained silent, kept herself in line. Always the smart one. Always in control. 

As she grew older, control grew increasingly difficult. She focused on ballet because it was disciplined, exact, no room for even a hair out of place. Yael could function as long as nothing in her life was left to chance, and nothing could be subjected to change. At one point, a doctor declared that she had Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Yael had no reason not to believe him. So she started taking pills to help.

They didn’t actually help, but Yael pretended they did. It was a comfort to her parents. She could survive like this, just pretending to be a functional human-- she’d managed it this long, anyway. 

Now, with the arrival of her ex-best friend’s mysterious father and the return of magic to her once-quiet town, change is hunting Yael down whether she wants it or not. The world around her is changing, and so is she. Which, of course, begs the terrible question: can she survive it?
