i鈥檝e already ranted about the ridiculous amount of hate build gets on twitter, but please, let me say again how childish and hypocritical things are getting. Let鈥檚 start from the beginning.
Weirdly enough, the vp photobook behind the scenes and a certain amount of vp content start to come out the moment rumor has it bible and build will get a new show for just the two of them (content that had been around since may apparently). Back then I thought they were starting to hint about a kp s2 focusing on vp, because that would have been smart. Clearly, I was wrong.
The announcement event starts, bible and build are revealed to be working with sammon on something very sammon-like. Sammon, for those who don鈥檛 know, is a prolific writer, and had some of her books turned into tv shows (Manner of Death and Triage, just to mention the most popular). She definitely does not need to plagiarize anyone.
One of the kp writer starts to go on a rampage on twitter, claiming she was betrayed by someone in boc and and unfollows build on twitter.
Reminder: a show has just been announced, but build is weirdly silent.
Couple of days pass, and guess what? The aforementioned writer withdraws from daemi house, stating she didn鈥檛 want her bad actions to reflect on her colleagues or something along those lines.
Today, Build decides to speak up about the issue and clarify everything and to apologize if unintentionally he hurt anyone. He stated that he never shared anything about 4 minutes, that he never stole ideas from the kp writers and that his relationship with them was over. Also, he apologized to the fans for all the mess that was going on even though really, he shouldn鈥檛 have. He literally did nothing wrong in this case. I also kind of appreciated the fact that he didn鈥檛 involve Bible (it could have been the easiest way) and that he mentioned it was a personal issue. He ends up breaking down because obviously getting continuous hate for something you said years ago will break anyone at a certain point, and when that hate gets revamped by people who you were kind of friends and colleague with, it just hit harder i suppose.
One would think that after all the shit the kp writers did to all the members of the cast, this time people would show reason and side with build, right? I thought something we all agreed on was that writers are trash m. Well, no, because some mile and apo stans decide it鈥檚 time to side with the writers because apparently poi talked about sa in her allegations (not directed to build, from what i gathered on twitter, but of course that wouldn鈥檛 matter if you鈥檙e keen on hating someone). Adding this later because i just got more info. Poi posted on her ig pictures of blood and injuries, hinting at the fact that she had been attacked. Guess what? The pictures had been downloaded from pinterest and she had to admit she was fine and nothing had happened. Again: disgusting behavior.
Now, my opinion on this matter is: the kp writers didn鈥檛 like to be sidelined by boc and first, they tried to bring the attention over them with the photobook, and then, poi decided to go for the jugular with her accusations. Attacking build is the easiest way to gain clout these days, everyone and their grandmas know that. If she鈥檇 tried something like that with mile, apo, jeff, barcode or bible, the whole kp fandom would have eaten her alive, but build? Build is an easy target, considering what happened in the past. Also, if she had actual evidence of what she claims, she would have brought them out and Build wouldn鈥檛 have had the guts to hold a public speech. We鈥檝e been saying for months that poi and yok are dangerous, that the actors were uncomfortable when they were around and when one them actually speaks up about what鈥檚 going on (and clearly it鈥檚 not easy for him, because from what i gathered he was close to her), people need to go and be dickheads. The kp writers have been acting like they own the kp cast from the beginning, so it really doesn鈥檛 surprise me that exactly when the two actors who would have brought them the most money (let鈥檚 be real here, the moment vp raised, nobody really cared about the kp dynamic anymore) go and announce they鈥檙e working with a popular writer for their upcoming show, the female writer decide to feel betrayed and plagiarized? I find that suspicious, not going to lie. Also, there is the fact that build literally had a full break down, he was devastated. Who would like to be dragged through the mud the moment an important project of yours is announced? And to those saying he was faking it, i suppose you can believe what you want, but obviously it wasn鈥檛 something planned, it was clear not even bible was aware he was going to speak up.
At this point, i鈥檒l cherish pete, vegad and kp s1 with all my heart but i really wish neither build or any of the cast will ever have anything to do with the writers anymore.
Edit: this post was written before poi came out with her screenshots. I legit don鈥檛 know what to think anymore, but one thing i can tell you for sure: until this whole mess well be cleared, i will not show any kind of support for neither of them
Edit 2: i will riot if build doesn鈥檛 get the justice he deserves

Not Me Series Review
Overall, this show was excellent.
It started off a little silly, though admittedly pretty intense. White's absolutely terrible plan to try to imitate Black, whom he knew next to nothing about, to Black's gang, who had plans to burn down a house, made me think this show was going to be a somewhat dark comedy.
But then episode 3 happened.
Episode three, in which the show tackled ableism and corruption and human rights abuses and privilege.
I knew from that episode that this show was going to be different.
And it was.
It would have impressed me alone from its music and acting and characters and couple chemistry. But the fact that what it did was call out the government for its awful behavior, in a country in which free speech is limited and the media is largely controlled by said government, absolutely blew my mind. Since episode three aired until the show ended I kept half expecting it to get pulled and censored. I am both shocked and thrilled that we got to watch the whole thing.
Moreover, the very fact that this show was not only made but aired in full says a lot about the shifting public opinion in Thailand. It means that there were enough people in the government controlled media that wanted what Not Me had to say to get out to the public. I am honestly far more fascinated by Thai politics after watching this show than I would have ever believed possible, and I'm pretty damn obsessed with politics in general. My fandoms are my escape when I can't bear to think about the burgeoning civil war in my country or the invasion of Ukraine or climate change or any other number of issues anymore. But this show collided the two things that take up most of my mental energy, and I'm genuinely glad that it did. I'm grateful to everyone involved for the bravery they showed in making this and airing this.
I'm not going to pretend that the politics were the only thing I liked about it. I loved Gun's acting. If he doesn't win at least one award for this show it'll be a goddamn crime. I really enjoyed Seanwhite and the power dynamics in their relationship. Danyok was also wonderful. Eugene and Namo were excellent characters and I would have liked to have seen more of them.
The only thing about this show that actually bothered me was the whole EugeneGram twist. It felt weird and unnecessary. I wasn't personally terribly invested in Blackgram, but it seemed like the show was heading in that direction, and it felt like the right way to go. Not doing so was confusing. Also, it made Gram's character inconsistent, his behavior towards Eugene was toxic and gross, and her suddenly being into him after very clearly not felt forced.
I've seen people speculate that the reason the show didn't go with canon Blackgram was because of fears of the outcry of fans who wouldn't want to see Gun with someone other than Off, and it wouldn't surprise me if that was true. The toxicity of shipping actors rearing its ugly head again. So, if that's the case, I honestly can't really blame the writers/producers for that decision, even though I think the show suffered as a result.
Plus I think it would've been more compelling to put Eugene with Namo, but whatever.
Now that the show has finished airing, I stand by my statement a couple of weeks ago that this show could absolutely make a second season work. Not just work. Be awesome. Black is a very interesting character, and I'd love to either see him work with the gang, or make new activist friends. I'd love to see what more the show has to say about Thai politics. I think Dan and Yok's story has a whole lot of potential. And, given the fan outcry about Blackgram, perhaps a second season could break up Gram and Eugene and have Blackgram happen.
Though tbh I'm personally more hoping for that because of the potential of NamoEugene.
Will it happen? I have no idea. I've seen people say that Off and Gun are done doing BLs, but I've seen no actual proof of that other than rumors(if you have any links to them actually saying that, feel free to drop them, but don't leave comments with any unsourced rumors, please). Of course the show could just write them out and center around Danyok, though, while I think it would make more sense to have them as the main couple for a second season, it would be a real pity if at least Gun didn't come back to play Black.
I think the main obstacle would be the government, now that all the people not involved in the approval of the first season will be aware of what the show had to say.
I hope there is a second season, I really, really do, but even if there isn't, this show was an absolute gift, and is definitely going in my top 5.
9.5/10

How did the stock market work in the 1700s era? Who determined the prices and how?
Well, they tended to be coffee-house adjacent...
The development of stock markets was somewhat gradual. In the 12th century, the French "bourses" started up where bankers and brokers traded agricultural debts on behalf of banks and farming communities. By the 13th and 14th century, the Italians started trading in government debt and some of the first companies began to offer shares for purchase by the general public.
But it wasn't until the early 17th century that you got the first joint stock companies, companies where the shareholders collectively owned the whole of the company, and which sold both stocks and bonds in order to acquire capital. And once you got a market in those shares of stock and those bonds, you got the first derivatives, dividends, futures markets, and short selling, which really are a sign of a stock market in operation.
Tumblr media
If you look at the 18th century stock exchanges, be they in Amsterdam, London, or New Yok, they tended to be located in broad courtyards or buildings with expansive ground-floors, where buyers and sellers could mingle and trade face-to-face. As a result, buyers would state what price they were willing to buy at and sellers would state what price they were willing to sell at, and eventually they would meet somewhere in the middle.
While prices were traditionally shouted out loud across the exchange, something that continues to the present day, prices were also written down either as makeshift contracts or as messages to be passed to runners, which is one of the reasons why stock markets often coincided with handbills, news sheets, and eventual newspapers, as people reported on trades, prices and volumes of various commodities, ships coming into harbor, rumors of foreign wars, and the like.

Dery also said that Motorola also reviewed the double hinged possibilities. He said that he worked on these companies and didn't look too much at MWC. The double-hinged 'Z' shaped design of the company's vice-chair mentions a lot of technical difficulty and is not practical for the first foldable phone.
