pretty sure I’ve said this before but if you can understand why “everyone is a little bit autistic/adhd” is bad, you should be able to understand why “everyone is addicted to something” is bad. as an autistic alcoholic the hypocrisy is truly infuriating

we can talk about the grey area between addicts and non-addicts. we can talk about the arbitrary line that is drawn in order to make the categories more straight-forward. those things are true. but it is also true that there is a difference between my alcoholism and someone else’s intense love of video games or whatever else. not everyone is an addict

Science is not apolitical. Researcher bias is real and there are many instances where racist, homophobic, and misogynistic scientists have slanted data (often subconsciously) due to their worldview and bigots use this to justify their hatred. Science is an impressive tool for understanding the world but any tool can be misused and being a scientist does not automatically immunize someone against their internal biases or the prejudices that exist in their societal milieu.

Two of Wands came out! Before the actual card meaning I got the strong urge to say H has feelings for you? This card isn’t typically regarded as a romance card though, at least not to me. The Two of Wands signifies having options or being at a turning point with a decision and taking the first steps towards what you want. For H this could mean taking first steps in how they feel about you, but I’m getting something about them being distracted? Or highly distractible? It’s possible they’re having a hard time balancing everything they want to do and everything they have time for but the thing is - is that you’re one of the things they want to have time for and someone they want to spend time with! So two cards fell out and it was The Chariot and Death in Reverse! What this tells me is that you may be fighting change. You’re constantly going back and forth about what to do or where you see yourself so you become stagnant and wind up feeling lost? There could also be an environmental component such as your workplace being hostile or people in your workplace giving you bad energy or trying to sabotage you? I get this strong feeling that a boss you’ve had or currently have is super jealous of you, but the good news comes with the Chariot as it signifies fast paced change and is one of the cards I associate with progress and victory! The Four of Wands came out so he could be a fire sign, Aries, Sagittarius, or Leo - for some reason I’m getting Sag most but also Cancer and Capricorn? So those could be significant in his chart either by having multiple elements being in those signs or those being in prominent placements!
