Nope! It’s actually pretty rare for production crew (outside of like the execs, showrunners and higher job roles) to meet celebrity voice talent. Voice talent have their own recording schedules so if you manage to catch them it’s like finding a legendary Pokémon haha. But I find it funny how this is the second show I’ve worked on with him as a main cast member (Star Trek Lower Decks).

Heyo! This might be such a random question and rambling and it's prolly silly lol idek if it's an ask, just a thought I wanted to share. But in the ep where mr. mxy showed up and transformed clark into alternate versions of himself from different earths, he was in different artstyles and was a realistic-looking crab. which basically means it's canon that MAWS is a 2D anime artstyle world, like the way we see them on the screen, 2D, animated, and in anime artstyle, like how we literally completely see them, is the way they all see themselves too. like in across the spiderverse when the spot went to the real-looking world (the shop with the lady) like she's real and the spot was animated. Idk i just found that hilarious coz basically if there's an infinite number of universes out there, then it's canon there's a world where clark and the others sees themselves in jojo's bizarre adventure artstyle and that's just rlly cool. Also that would mean whenever there's a romantic/cheesy scenes (like that scene where lois was sewing clark's blazer) there's actually a dreamy filter appearing like in shojo animes.

Lol this was a fun read. I mean I’m not the keeper of MAWS logic/lore (just someone who worked on the show) but like any other IP now, if there’s a multiverse aspect then possibilities are endless so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I just wanna make y’all know I can’t really confirm or deny headcannons (unless they’re mine haha). Y’all can create for fun and don’t have to run it by me. And even if you do I can’t say much other than, “That’s a fun idea”. Or something along those lines. 😅

are you kidding?? of course you are amazing!! i'm an animator (barely i went to anim school but it was a really bad school) and well i graduated in dec 2020 and i am yet to have an animation job or anything at least a little bit related 🤡

i'm trying to learn 2d animation on my own bc believe it or not we only learned 3d animation at my university so (it was more geared towards videogame making) anyways I really hope one day i make it into the animation industry so yeah, you are amazing and someone I aspire to be like

OOPS by “announce with the artists/writers” I meant that they just announce the comics and who’s working on them! I think artists and writers are rarely clued in on when announcements are made because a lot of the time they always go “oh?? guess the news is out!” So your response is very much in line with many creators during release of DC and Marvel solicits lol 😭

Okay that makes so much more sense now ‘cause deadass I just assumed they wouldn’t say anything until release. It’s my first time doing cover art for comics so live and learn haha.

DC comic solicitations for July came out last Friday! They announce comics with the artists, writers, variant covers, etc. Your cover for the second issue of MAWS was there! IT LOOKS REALLY COOL BTW!!
