Okay so let me get this straight, Abed:

Was seemingly the ONLY person very concerned that the rat he'd trained, cared for and bonded with went missing and was in danger of being killed

Would rather let a whole college campus go without internet than risk baby birds coming to harm

Brought the study group together in the first place just by being friendly and inviting people

Spent his whole life obsessed with film and TV and used these as a framework to learn things about people and relationships that didn't come naturally to him

Put so much work into his friendships that he had charts about them and could predict and imitate their behaviour to a disconcerting degree

Had a psychotic break when his mother didn't come to see him at Christmas

Loved his best friend so much he actually saw lava on the floor when he was planning to leave, and still made the sacrifice of jumping into said lava in order to move past this and let said friend have his own life

Stayed in a room for 26 hours without sleep or toilet breaks because a friend asked him to

Knew said friend would be interested in forensics seemingly before she did

Unknowingly stopped Chang's evil plan just by inviting him for doughnuts, after everything he did, without showing any judgement (not saying this was a wise decision, but it was undeniably kind)

And yet, everyone, frequently, including Abed himself sometimes: Abed is emotionless, robotic, and doesn't care about people and relationships, everyone just caters to him all the time
