Do you ever feel like you drowning?

Submerged, with no way out? Do you ever feel like you’re drowning?

No life guard or life vest to save you.

Do you ever feel like you’re drowning?

Drowning in the choices that you didn’t make but you let another make in your name.

So you suffer & they continue on.

Do you ever feel like you’re drowning?

& nothing can bring you afloat.

Do you ever feel like you’re drowning?

Water filling your lungs, your mouth treading the water, you let air in and expel the water.

You think you’ve found relief but something pulls you right back down.

Have you ever felt like you’re drowning

& nothing around you is enough?

The inner turmoil has the ability to run you ragged-trusting less, opening less. Yet somehow you think you’re all love.

The three don’t correlate but you’ve forced yourself to believe they do.

Have you ever felt like you’re drowning?

You know, and are at reach of the tools to save yourself but you’re afraid.

Afraid of the life that comes after letting your old self go, drown.

Have you ever felt like you’re drowning? Drowning in a place where no water is present. Just constant replays of past inflictions & bottled up feelings.

Have you ever felt like you’re drowning?

Yes? How did you save yourself when you’re in a pool of hundreds, but you’re the only one that can save you?

You ever receive so much ill will from people you wonder what bad you did in life to make you deserve it?

I will not reach my demise with a worried mind and a heavy heart. I deserve a life with calm & genuine peace.

Life can be and will be better

To feel heard.

To feel seen.

I don’t feel I desire much but what I desire, I want fulfilled.

By your touch my body weakens.

My core is trembling just by the thought of you & I only hope that I do the same.

Please, please know it is greater than touch. Come to me let me stare into your eyes. Read you, gaze, become mesmerized. Speak to me your truths I am not here to minimize but instead to seek understanding of you.

I wonder if you hear my heart speed up when you enter the room.

My face no longer relaxed

My eyes no longer glued to the addiction that rests within my fingers

My cheeks begin to rise my teeth exposed showing you how you & everyone in this room how you make me feel.

Enticed, happy. You’re beauty in its finest form.

& I wonder if you know.
