A Japanese fan of JJK pointed out [HERE] how the pattern in Gojo's eyes is very similar to the pattern of the glass panel in episode 1 of season 2, the one Utahime is standing before.

This is interesting because the glass panel was given significant screen time to be shown and focus was put on it.

And in Episode 2, Gojo himself talks about his technique and how difficult it is to cause massive destruction whilst also taking into consideration the vector around him (objects, people).

This explanation is accompanied by the vision of Utahime running through the mansion as its falling apart, indicating how Gojo destroyed it but also went through the difficult task of ensuring Utahime is completely uninjured.

Utahime is also seen to be in the center of the destruction, under the very same glass panel.

The glass panel feels like an eerie but beautiful metaphor towards Gojo who basically plays God (the honoured one) in JJK verse, capable of watching everything around him..👏😮

The pattern (a chrysanthemum motif) used here is called kikuka-monsho and is of much significance in the history of Japan. It was commonly used by the imperial family and nobility.

Personally, i think this was a very intentional touch by MAPPA and ofc Gege since he's involved in the creative process of the anime..🤔

Ok so, am I the only one who finds this wrong on so many levels? or I am just not reading between the lines? Like YES WOMEN EMPOWERMENT but a women doesn't need to raise a baby and work simultaneously to show that she is "strong". Having a baby or abortion is a personal choice and by no means should be dictated by the society. I also totally understand that people have different views but the way they said about women empowerment ticked me off. The Women empowerment that they are so enthusiastically talking about feels toxic and a burden for those who are not ready to have kids but have gotten pregnant. This makes women want to prove themselves in spite of going for what they actually want to do - later on making both of their and their kid's life hell. Women Empowerment means women taking decision for themselves, of their own free will. They don't need to do something specific to show the society that they are powerful - they don't owe the society anything. Also, giving birth and raising the kid or Abortion - both of these are major decisions in the life of women - they got through conflicts and troubles in both of those decisions. There is a lot of emotional contemplation they go through whether they choose birth or abortion. It's high time we grow up and realise that children are a blessing to some - not for all.

hey kids who read fic, listen up

it’s annoying to me as a Fanfic Elder that y’all don’t understand how consent works in regards to reading fanfic

last night I saw a fic that had EIGHT of my favorite tags included and a great summary BUT it also contained a tag for a topic that bothers me. I weighed the pros/cons and decided NOT to read the fic because the ONE tag I disliked was something that could trigger a panic attack if the scene went into any sort of detail - it wasn’t worth risking the eight good tags.

from the first moment I noticed the fic to the moment I decided not to read it, the entire experience was MY RESPONSIBILITY. the author tagged the fic correctly, I knew what my limits were, and I respected them.

if you find a fic with tags you don’t like, JUST DON’T READ IT 

don’t harass the author, don’t post a big whiny rant about it on Tumblr, just keep scrolling

that is your job as a reader.
