Hi SQOTD anon! I'm gonna answer part two for this ^-^

So for my legacies, I usually build the house from scratch. I'm not much of a builder, though, so I tend to prefer doing legacies where building is more gradual. The whimsy stories legacy, which I'm doing now, is nice because I get to build the house gradually. It means there's already a kind of template to use when I'm building the next part of the house, if that makes sense? So if there's a new member of the household I just add on, because I need some kind of structure. My personal rule is that I cannot demolish a house because lord knows I won't be able to build a better one lol

For other builds, I tend to just use what's in the save file, or download something from the gallery. In the Kerr Legacy, I did accidentally use the base save file like a fool, so I did regularly replace builds with stuff on the gallery. But for the Huerta Legacy, I used the ratboysave, so I haven't really changed much.

the eternal struggle of having a good idea for a game but 0 actual coding skill...

#the most i can make is concept art. and the annoying thing is that i know it wouldn't be *that* hard to code #like. theres no animation or anything. it really is clicking things and making choices. and its so annoying >:( #it is pretty much a visual novel. but also not. but just to give a reference for like. i don't need to be able to code some kind of 3d open #world thing #like. sdv has more animation. it would not be complex to make. and i just suck at code and teaching myself things lol #nonsims
