Hi^^ Glad to hear you like the story so far <3 Few things make me uncomfortable on the internet :)) That being said, the answer is probably no. One of the reasons I didn't want to make the ROs gender selectable was for the pain the nsfw scenes would be to code and write, genitalia being the main issue. Sorry. 😭 When/if I ever get to finish the story, I may go back and add some routes and stuff, but until then, I want to make this as easy and fun for me to write so I actually do get to the ending with it :P

Hi! I had a lot of fun with the demo! I think I giggled for several minutes over the The Mosaic In The Bath and I love poor Keyon so much already, guy is having a rough few days lmao.

Also a question for you - Any chance this is (mildly) inspired by Mistborn? Bc there's similiar plot point there (Dude kills the chosen one, becomes immortal dictator who literally changes the world).

Omg I loved Chapter 1. Your writing is so good. I truly found it attention grabbing from the very beginning.

What I really liked so far, is that all of the characters are enjoyable to interact with. I honestly don't know which character i'll be the most fond of, in the long run (probably our Nemesis). Hehe, I think I might just flirt with everyone though. Secondly I love the amount of choices we get and how you made it easy to distinguish between the common vs romantic options.

Feedback: not much since it's only Chp1- BUT If I had anything to say, maybe having more variety in text, based on the different choices, for replay-ability ( if that's something you want to go for I mean, if not, ignore this part ). It was done well with our nemesis- his dialogue being slightly different for each response we had. But in general some of the choices have the same outcome or response, which might make them feel like they don't matter. But honestly, I could be speaking too soon on that because again, it's literally only chapter Uno lol.

Also, there is an error when we choose to yell about getting the cat away from us.

In all, I literally have nothing bad to say though. The writing was Perfect in my opinion, again the characters *Mwah* chefs kiss 💕. I even love MC lol. I could probably play this chapter a bunch of times over honestly, just because I like interacting with everyone so far.

I'm definitely going to have to do some art for my MC.

yes, there's already something like 'natural and loose' that is basically not styled, but I think it got lost for some hair lengths @_@ I'll revise the hair styles in the next update for sure^^

I like the idea and the demo, but I think MC should maybe be a little more... incredulous and shocked? For example, they try to claim that it's all just a dream and they will wake up soon or something like that? And act kinda crazy, ridiculously.. after all, it's a dream, so why do I care what dream characters think about me? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It would be quite funny to see the characters worried that MC has become so disturbed.

That's a fun concept and all, but ultimately I need the MC to take things at lest a little bit seriously :)) I can try to see if I can add something like this in the first chapter and maybe the second with the ball and some administration choices MC will need to make (this actually could be very fun for MC and extremely frustrating for Keyon)... but beyond chapter 3 it will be rather hard to have a fully chaotic MC. Besides... I guess it should be a completely different stat? @_@ I was thinking I could mix it with the sanguine/sarcastic stats... but I don't want to force these either. Or make it just a option to think it's all a dream in the beginning and add the flavor text to the other choices... I'll think about it and see where I can add this, but it's only going to be for the first few chapters either way.

You reblogged that "steampunk vampire" post - and well, it's my first time seeing it since I discovered the game so recently.

And it's funny, because well, to me there is ONE truth, one fact, one principle that will never change. Steampunk vampire = Impey Barbicane. No one will change my mind. Sweet sunshine incarnate boy. He's the best vampire ever created.

Because of that, my vision of a steampunk vampire is pretty different than what other people may think.

Hi! I found out about your game today thanks to a reblog, and tried it out!

It's an interesting approach to the trope, since most "isekai" of this kind have the MC be killed and reincarnated, while in this case it's the other world's character who died insteand with the MC being transported to take their place. I don't think I've ever seen that configuration before!

Other than that, I can't really say much yet considering we're in early story.

But I'm grateful for the very simple approach to choices and stats. I'ts very intuitive and doesn't make me feel pressured to min-maxing stuff!

That aside, I have two small coding issues to report, as well as a question!

For the bugs or whatever: - I have picked the option "The idea of having a whole empire under your care was, at this moment, crippling" when the MC thinks about the whole empire thing, but the follow up page seems to tell the opposite (with MC being excited): "It would be quite entertaining to be the head of an empire. You imagine lavish parties, champagne flowing out of golden flutes, masquerades and, most importantly, court intrigue! This was all hypothetical, of course, as you still thought it was all some elaborate hoax. Or a social experiment of sorts." - Another one is after going out and meeting someone. When my MC came back to the chambers, I had this: "Yes, going out now would be quite irresponsible. You knew nothing about the customs of this weird place and wouldn’t even know if you did something wrong before they might strung you up and burn you to the steak, if that was a thing, you didn’t know." - it seems to imply he didn't go out at all?

And for the question, it's a bit more complicated... This is something that I have to ask every time I start an isekai themed story. You see, my biggest trigger in fiction as a whole is an isekai story that ends with the MC going back to their home world. This is something that literlly enduces severe panic attacks in me, so I have to be very careful with what I play or read in terms of isekai, and I need to keep myself informed of that aspect of the ending(s)... And so, are you planning on letting us decide if our MC wants to go back or to stay? Or are you planning multiple endings in that regard? I understand if you don't feel comfortable revealing that, but I wanted to assure this is not me fishing for spoilers. It may be the weirdest trigger a person can have, but somehow my brain works that way, it seems. If it wasn't this severe of a trigger I wouldn't ask. If you really can't or don't wish to answer, I will just wait until the story is done, probably, since I can't allow myself to get involved in case the MC going back at the end is unavoidable - but well, I guess it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

Glad you like the concept so far! 💕 And yeah, I wanted not to pressure people into making choices just because down the line it gives an outcome they want. Besides some flavored text, most of the important decisions will be choice based, not status based. And thanks for the bugs! I wrote 1 wrong letter and 1 wrong number in each cases :)) Should would well now, only Blythe's route in the tower seemed to be coded wrong for when MC came back to the room. As for MC going back home, it's an option, but not an obligation. MC's motivation for helping/pretending to be Sovereign can be that it helps with the goal to go home throughout the game, and one endgame option is indeed to go home (unrelated to the motivation until then)... but it is not entirely a good ending. I'm basically writing it for pure angst, no matter the romance and the path MC takes until that point😅 The way I have it planned, MC will have 3-5 ending options (with some Good/Evil variables), and one of them will be to go back, but all the rest involve staying. It's definitely not a 'it was all a dream' thing. I think that's my biggest trigger :))

Hi i just want to report a bug in the demo, if you choose to let off some steam with the Merc as a cisfem!MC after the choice to lie back, fade to black, or reciprocate, the description for the scene is correct but then in the next paragraph the description repeats execpt the MC in that description has a penis. Really interesting demo though, can't wait to see where this goes ^^

I apologize that my ask about thane being straight was turned into a discussion on what to do with your game. I wasn’t trying to make you change anything about him I was just poking fun that out of all of them he’s the one straight man. And I really like playing characters hopelessly into people they will never be with so I wasn’t complaining about it either 😭

Do what you want with your story, not everyone is queer and even in a fantasy setting things might be more lax (depending on how you want to go about gender and sexuality and if you want to include conversations on homophobia or not) so it could be more common and accepted but that doesn’t mean everyone would be gay either lmao

As I mentioned before, people can and should voice their preferences and I think we can all have a discussion about it :P If I had more free time, I would have loved to touch on the subject more. It actually reminded me of another IF, where I think one of the ROs, the Knight, starts as straight and as I understands from the asks will have a bit of a journey into loving a same sex MC -The Knight being gender selectable. #EvenMoreVariables Check out Dereliction. No hate or anything, I am just curious. Does this mean that for the other two (Eli and Keyon) the NSFW scenes do not have variables for "which d*ck goes where"? Does that mean the others have specific set preferences without choice for the MC? If so do you already know what you plan to set them to?

No no, the rest will definitely have all the variables in the nsfw scenes. It's why I even added the choices in the first place. What I was getting at was that it is one less RO for me to worry about 😅 And it's not about the males either, 5 of the 6 ROs are romanceable by all, and I will have to take into account all the variations for each. Which is fine, it's why I'm writing an IF and not regular fanfiction. It's just in my mind, the one RO is straight and wants a wife and children, so it both makes sense and it's also less work for me. But again, he's fictional, so I don't care that much about his sexuality, only for my time and sanity :))

I love that writers are willing to change things to make us readers happy (It’s really appreciated 😊) but I feel like that’s where they go wrong. Sometimes trying to appease everyone, especially when it comes their characters starts to make the process unenjoyable.

This is your project. If you think it would only cause frustration or annoyance- continue what you have planned. Who knows, maybe at some point if YOU really wanted to, you could do a small side story with MLM Thane route.

I think I'm taking Henry Cavil's stance on this a bit :)) Fans are allowed to have opinions and preferences about the media they consume, so I really don't mind the asks. It's really flattering that people are interested in Thane. If I had more time I would totally write a 'coming out of the closet' route for him 🤭 It's also the endless cycle of wanting to write faster and share the thing, and wanting to add more to it, but also share it, but also oh I could add this... that can make the process tedious at times. And it's true, when the possibilities in IFs are basically endless with enough time and attentions, one will never be able to satisfy everyone. But Eli cannot replace Thane for some people 😞 It's not just about gender, it's about RO's personality, behavior. And after one conversation I already know that I'm not a fan of Eli and I am not interested in a romance with them.

ya'll are pressuring me 😭 On the point of male ROs, there's also Eli (he/they), who is male by birth and appearance mostly, but they don't conform to the super traditional gender roles in society.

I honestly can't really see him with m!mc, just because in the final draft he ended up really traditional and religious (albeit a fictional religion, lol), but honestly the biggest reason why he's hetero is, drumroll... ✨codding✨ the bane of my existence :)) I'm not very hellbent to defend the sexuality of a fictional character, but sometimes the codding is not as easy as just swapping genitalia names and that's it, and it just takes more time that I already don't really have.

I also really want to go ham with the breeding kink without having to think about logistics :)) That being said, he's already going to be on the fence about getting together with f!mc anyway 😅 so it might be interesting to make him be in the closet :))) #angst I'm not promising anything though, since that would be kind of a separate route, at least for a few chapters, and I'm already swamped irl. Some facts about Sovereign (the original one)? 👀

How did they become ruler? Something about their family? Maybe a hobby? Pet? Relationships? Personality?

They are very interesting to me 😅

You will actually find out more interesting tidbits about OG Sovereign as the story goes on, so I don’t wanna spoil everything 😛 but yeah, a bit spoiler-y below the cut.

Sovereign grew up with Angelica and Eli. They were all street urchins, living on the streets, thick as thieves and having each other's backs. Angelica and Sovereign, being the older ones, worked hard to lift them from that poverty and make a good life for themselves and Eli. And this is the part of Eli that can’t quite bring themselves to kill Sovereign, one of them at least. They were close and they looked up to their sister and Sovereign both. Sovereign became a ruler when they killed Angelica, but I will leave that to be discovered within the story as to the reasoning behind it^^ Hobby… damn. I bumped the age of OG Sovereign to some 400+ years, so I imagine they had quite some time to pick up various hobbies and skills throughout that time, but mostly they were quite consumed with their job, fixing and reshaping the empire. One thing they always enjoyed was music (Keyon often playing the violin for them) and, perhaps surprisingly, dancing. You’ll get a comment about it in the next chapter when MC will have to waltz 😆or learn to do it in a crash course. Pets, they had a dog growing up, before becoming Sovereign, that died. Since then they couldn’t bring themselves to get attached to another animal, but they did greatly enjoy Blythe’s little sanctuary and often went there to pet and play with them. Relationships, hehe. There was something maybe brewing with Angelica, but that didn’t end up very well… Otherwise they tried not to attach too much to people, but they did care about Keyon and Blythe, in their own way. Personality wise, Most people would have perceived OG Sovereign as quite intimidating and scary, occasionally aloof. But what you will find about them during the story is that they had different faces for different people; to some, Sovereign was the big bad evil, cruel and unyielding, to others they were a beacon of hope and support. Overall, though, Sovereign was just tired of everyone’s bullshit. They were someone who was forced by life circumstances to take the lead (fending off dangers on the streets, helping Angelica in her endeavors and ultimately becoming ruler), where they didn't necessarily want that.
