Don’t read this story. Don’t give it kudos or hits or even bother commenting on it. If you’re a fic writer, let’s bury it. It shouldn’t be the first few fics you see when looking up Raya/Namaari.

It’s disgusting. I skimmed it because I TRULY wasn’t thinking it would be that bad- it is. I’ve seen some crazy tags on AO3 but this one actually means it. It’s triggering, it’s assault, it’s just awful.

Synopsis under the read more- I’m not going into detail but I feel the need to tell people if they are going to steer clear of it.

Again- I’m not saying you can’t read it. I’m saying you shouldn’t. This fandom has had plenty of spicy material that has done amazing. This specific work does not need the attention of the rayamaari fandom.

Raya is SA by Namaari in front of everyone. It’s public humiliation. They make namaari have a g!p and use it to r@pe Raya. I’m disgusted the author wrote this as namaari being trans just to have her be violent and assault someone.

Edit- I 100% don’t support fics like these. You can write stories that have elements to bdsm or other spicy things without being what this fic is doing. I DO support the concept and ideas of trans characters in a manner that doesn’t villainize them and promote a harmful stereotype. Trans!namaari is not the problem, the writer making her a r@pist is.

I sometimes wonder about reversing the roles of Raya and Namaari

Forgetting the issues of the lands and how it would be easy for Fang to escape the Druun by just jumping into the water lets say that for whatever reason it wasn't easy and Namaari ends up losing her land and mother like Raya did, how would it go? Namaari obviously loves her people dearly and would do whatever it takes to keep them safe, so how would she act towards Raya after losing it all?

Would they still exchange witty banter or would it be full of a lot more anger and sadness than what Raya displayed?
