Update: Reblogging this again. I took it a step further and deleted Youtube off my phone, and am only using it as a video viewer on the TV.
Do not use it on my Switch or laptop either because that’s just for writing and play Mario wahoo jump jump.

Yoooooo.
Ever since I started doing stuff like “hey, what if I started doing less of the things that make me mentally fatigued. Then get sleep? Less tired? It pworked? Oikay!”
Then it started working.
Start in waves. I got angry at arguing with strangers on the internet, so I started to delete facebook off of my phone when I’m done with it.
Then, I started to only read those convos, but not replying to them. Currently in the phase of not even entering those comment sections in the first place.
Change sucks, but doing it more means it sucks less.
If worth doing, do until sucks less.

Your goddamn TV Probably has an interpolator of some kind. Want to watch something in 1080p but it only goes as high as 720p? Your Samsung is like “psssh. No problem. I’m just gonna knock that out for you. Fill in some of those square holes”.
Computers are gonna computer. Sproder verse there had entire teams of animators dedicated to forcing the interpolation off.
Goddamn Off. As in no longer on. And it was not like a light switch. People spent days of months to make sure that the animation looks like it was done on twos. Making the thing look choppyer is the exact opposite pf what most computers go for. That’s how much the computer commits to the bits.
If anything this production went out of its way to use less ai than most. At least in the traditional sense. Oh? But guess what. They had a model for that too. And so does pixar. And so did movies from before years had multiple 2s in them.
Pirates of the Caribbean had self generative models in order to calculate Davy Jones tentacles.
In producing Monsters Inc it NECESSITATED an ai model in order to make all of the fur on sully’s body fall correctly.
There are entire simulation teams grinding away on whatever animated movie you’re probably looking forward to right now. Please stop calling them lazy by proxy, or learn to eat your own ass.

As an adhd, you have no idea how much more powerful I can become, with my one weakness being shored up, (the lack of short term memory) by bing reminded of what task needs to be done with silly and/or pleasant noises coming out of my phone.

I got my apartment months ago, and I never used a hammer but damn. It actually is impossible to not stand back and put your hands on your hips, appreciating. That really do be the best post-hammer activity.
