“Known” Teyrnirs, Arlings, and Bannorns
Not placing this in my “official” lore tag, because what is lore? But I figured this could be of interest to some people, since I, myself needed it to see who all our Bard Bann (in tabletop) still needed to ally himself with.
Basically a very quick guide to known territories in Ferelden and who last owned them (as far we know) or currently owns them, as far as we know. Which basically means, the leaders of these territories could have changed in between meeting them and Post-Trespasser time.
But this is my best estimation given the information we have access to at the moment. I’m including those from the tabletop. I might add to and clean this up as I finally organize my tabletop collection and flip through the World of Thedas books for more info. Because I’m sure I’m missing a few or there is more updated dates/nobles out there, but like I said a Very Quick List.

¹ Arl Gell Landon can actually be dismissed or made a figurehead in the tabletop, but Bioware canon (via the comic, Knight’s Errant) says he is still in power.
² It seems to be a common consensus (among tabletop players and GMs) that Adric took over Denerim after whatever his grandmother’s fate is/was. However, I believe it is within the story’s possibilities that his grandmother continues to rule as of 9:40.
³ Dependent on the tabletop quest outcome
⁴ I don’t remember at the moment if Bann Loren was killed or simply removed from his Bannorn, like Teagan was removed from Redcliffe. I am going with the assumption Bann Loren was simply displaced, but if anyone knows for sure otherwise let me know.
⁵ I don’t know if Teagan still owns Rainesfere, seeing as he is Arl of Redcliffe and as far as I know Ferelden nobles can only hold one territory at a time.

THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN THEDAS — rowan (died in 9:8 dragon) was born in redcliffe, the oldest of arl rendorn guerrin’s children. she was childhood friends with maric theirin and bethrothed to him at a young age. during the fereldan rebellion against the orlesian empire, rowan joined the rebel army and became an adept fighter, eventually gaining command of the cavalry. she, along with loghain, led the rebel army to victory. with ferelden’s freedom secured, she married king maric theirin and became his queen. they had one child together, cailan theirin. some years later rowan died of an unknown wasting illness, sending her country and her husband into a state of mourning.

your family is based out of ostwick, one of the port cities along the southern coast of the free marches

aside from this i don’t think there’s any other trevelyan lore??? there’s mage-trevelyan stuff ofc but that’s mostly defined via dialogue choices you make and isn’t actually defined by outside information 🤔🤔🤔

THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN THEDAS — moira theirin (died 8:96 blessed) was a self-proclaimed queen of ferelden. charismatic and determined, she was responsible for first inspiring the rebellion against the orlesian occupation of ferelden. she gained the support of some of the most powerful nobles in ferelden purely through the confidence she inspired - a feat that her father, king brandel the defeated, had failed at. moira led the rebellion until she was betrayed and murdered in 8:96 blessed by fereldan nobles who had pretended to support her cause. the crime was avenged three years later by her son maric. though never officially crowned, moira is remembered fondly by the fereldans and has been given the nickname “rebel queen.”

THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN THEDAS — queen asha subira bahadur campana (✱ 4:30 black) was a minor rivaini princess when she was wed to the king of antiva, but she became one of the most important women in thedas’s history. she was a skilled tactician and outmaneuvered the most powerful military nations of thedas by arranging alliances stronger than steel: marriages. she wed her children into noble families across the continent and within thirty years, any hostile act against antiva would have forced half of thedas into war. for this, she’s often called the queen mother of thedas. it is her that antiva owes its independence to even today, for her bloodline still flows through the ruling families of orlais, nevarra, starkhaven and the anderfels.

Circle Tower Body Count
So for shits and giggles (or just tears really) I decided to count every single body or human shaped corpse I could find in the Circle Tower to try and get an idea of how many people actually died there. I included Abominations, Arcane Horrors, and Walking Corpses because those are all bodies possessed by a demon and I guarantee that the Circle didn’t just have dead bodies lying around.

Twenty.Three. That’s almost 1/10th the total number of bodies I found.
Who knows how many were absorbed into those flesh sacks or completely torn apart?
What happened at the Circle was absolutely horrifying just based on the sheer number of dead, Im not sure how any of them could have come out of that not mentally scarred. Also, of the dead 35 of them were in the room Cullen was trapped in. Im not surprised in the slightest he took the views on mages he did for DA2.
I really wish there had been options for Amell or Surana coming close to falling apart being back there as it was. Whether they liked the circle or not, it had been their home for well more than a decade.
