Part 6 of my first fanfic. It takes place in highschool where kaitlyn and MC meet for the first time.
-------
The New Girl. Part 6
Charlotte didn't remember leaving the party. The only thing she noticed was the sobering, cold air that hit her as she raced after kaitlyn. It was a lot darker now, making it almost impossible for Charlotte to keep her eyes on kaitlyn's figure as it paced along the street.
"Kaitlyn wait!" She called out breathlessly. Kaitlyn slowed her pace but didn't stop walking, giving her a chance to catch up. "Kaitlyn, please stop and talk to me." Finally, she stopped, turning to face Charlotte with a scowl.
"What? I thought I made it clear we have nothing to talk about." Her arms crosse defensively as se spoke. Charlotte took a daring step closer, trying to ignore the dizziness still in her head.
"I... I wanted to explain..." she muttered.
"Explain what? There's nothing to explain! You and your friend seemed pretty comfortable, ive got nothing against that. So..." She paused, taking in a calming breath. "Can we please just drop it?"
"I don't want to. I want you to know that I'm sorry." Charlotte's voice wasn't much more than a whisper.
"Sorry for what? If you and her..."
"You don't understand!" Charlotte interrupted. "I wanted to say sorry for not walking with you that morning. I wasn't ditching you, I just... there was a lot happening and... I'm just sorry, ok?"
"Fine, apology accepted. Can we drop it now?" Kaitlyn huffed.
"No. There's something else..." Charlotte took in a deep breath to steady herself. In the back of her mind, she wondered if she would be able to talk about this without the drink in her system. "When we were texting the night before.. I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable. I don't even know why I said what I said... it just..." She trailed off, quickly losing her confidence.
"'It just' what?" Kaitlyn asked, suddenly looking less defensive and more timid.
"I don't know... I liked talking to you and I really needed that. I just... got carried away I guess..." Charlotte rung her hands together nervously, failing to meet kaitlyn's eyes.
"No..." Kaitlyn spoke up. "I don't think you got carried away with anything. I think you were seeing how it felt before you and your friend actually tried it."
"I... what?"
"I get it. I don't know how you just found out that im in to girls, but using someone like that is really..."
"I wasn't using you for anything. And Laura kissed me!" Charlotte snapped back.
"Bullshit! I didn't see you pull away from her."
"But both of you left, both of you were upset... and I didn't follow Laura!" Charlotte screamed.
The silence hung between them, with neither of them sure what to say or do. Charlotte's eyes were focused on the floor between the two of them, while kaitlyn's brow furrowed, as if trying to figure something out.
"Ok..." kaitlyn began. "Let's start walking. We'll find somewhere to sit and talk."
As they walked on through the dimly lit streets, the cold didn't seem as bad. They walked close enough that their arms occasionally brushed against eachother's which neither of them seemed to mind. The quiet walk gave them both time to think about what the other might say or how tonight was going to end. Eventually they reached the edge of a park on the way back to their homes. Kaitlyn gestured towards the bench of a bus stop that was just across the street. The two of them sat down, Charlotte nervously picked the the tears in her jeans while kaitlyn pulled her jacket tighter around her, turning on the bench to face Charlotte.
"So..." Charlotte looked up as kaitlyn spoke. "Why did you flirt with me?"
The one question dropped like a weight on to charlotte's chest. Her head spun as she tried to think of something to say instead of letting the silence stretch.
"Ok. Maybe that was unfair. Let's start easier. Why are you so invested in being friends with me? Most people would have just given up. Its not like you're lacking anyway."
"I... When I first saw you in the hallway, Laura was rude to you. I saw the look on your face and... I don't know. I just, wanted to make you feel better. Then we talked and I realised you were the one making me feel better."
"How did I do that?" Kaitlyn asked, turning more towards her.
"You're funny, and you're really sweet. My brother literally thinks you're secretly a superhero."
"You make it sound like I'm not" Kaitlyn said with a grin. Charlotte felt the smile pull at her lips before giving in to a soft laugh.
"I'm trying to be serious" Charlotte laughed, trying to cover the conflicted feeling in her chest. "Isn't it enough that I just want to be friends with you?"
"It is...." kaitlyn paused, giving Charlotte a deep look. "Can I ask you one more question?"
"Sure" Charlotte said, straightening up.
"You didn't pull away when Laura kissed you. Why?"
The admission flew out of her. Like it had been waiting to burst for too long. Charlotte explained how the kiss shocked her but felt right, how it made all of her ex boyfriends feel like distant memories. The way it felt like the only thing that made sense... and how, even with all that, it felt wrong.
"Wrong?" Kaitlyn asked quietly.
"Yeah.. like, Laura and I have been best friends for years. We flirt and stuff but it's only ever a joke and... its confusing." She sighed.
"I don't doubt it. Maybe she's just not your type. She's definitely not mine." Kaitlyn said, resting her hand lightly on charlotte's arm.
"Can we go home? It's cold." Charlotte asked with a shiver.
"Sure, let's go." Kaitlyn said, standing up before Charlotte and extending a hand to help her up. Once she stood, Charlotte looked down at kaitlyn's hand clasped on hers. A warm rush hit her chest and spread to her face as she felt kaitlyn's soft skin against her palm. A second later, she let go, letting her arm drop to her side.
Kaitlyn gave her a small smile and the two started walking home. They were close, so close that their knuckles brushed together, leading Charlotte to wrap one of her fingers around kaitlyn's. And awkward fumble of their hands went on before they locked together. Charlotte couldn't help but let herself smile. It didn't necessarily mean anything but for now; she was holding hands with a beautiful girl as they walked together down an otherwise silent street. Sneaking small sidelong glances at kaitlyn let her know that she was smiling too.
All too quickly, they were home. The two of them let go of eachother at the end of the road, out of view of both of their houses. Neither of them mentioned it but they both understood the necessity.
As she got closer to the front door, Charlotte looked back at kaitlyn who was already watching her from across the street. With a smile she turned back to her house, only to see shadows moving behind the curtains of the lit living room.
As she entered, both her parents approached her with stern looks.
"You said you wouldn't be home late Charlie. We trusted you." Her mum said, with a strict tone.
"And... Charlie, have you been drinking?" Her dad asked, looking madder by the second as he stepped closer to her, taking in the smell of rum and the sight of her swaying slightly. "Charlie, you're in a lot of trouble. Go drink some water and go straight to your room. We'll discuss this tomorrow."
Annoyed at them for ruining the first good mood she had felt all week, Charlotte stormed to the kitchen and muttered under her breath;
"Fine. Need to call Laura anyway."
"Oh no..." Her dad interjected, walking toward where she stood and holding out his hand. "You've lost phone privileges. And don't think about using anything else to call, im disconnecting the WiFi."
Charlotte handed her phone over, slapping it in to his hand before stomping upstairs. Slamming the bedroom door behind her, she immediately regretted it, remembering Connor was still ill in the bedroom across from her. She shrugged off her jacket and laid on her bed. She did want to talk to Laura but all she could think of was kaitlyn. Her hand still felt warm from her presence there and when she closed her eyes, Charlotte could still see her smile.
Her eyes flung open and she dashed to the window of her room, grabbing the dry erase board on the way. She penned out a message before resting it on the windowsill.
[ Phones been taken.
Thank you for tonight. I mean it ♥ ]
She got changed in to her pyjamas and cleaned off her makeup. Sipping her water she pulled back the covers of the bed, sparing a look at the window, she wondered if kaitlyn was by hers. She took a few small steps to peek out but kaitlyn's light was off. In the window of her room, surrounded by fairy lights was the chalk board with a message written.
[ Thank you . See you tomorrow? ♥ ]

Part 5 of my first fanfic. It takes place in highschool where kaitlyn and MC meet for the first time.
-------
The New Girl. Part 5
The trip home was quiet without Connor there. Charlotte's dad had left work early to pick her up so her mum could stay home and take care of him. The silence gave Charlotte plenty of time to go over everything in her head, again and again.
"Charlie..." Her dad said softly, breaking the silence. "Do you want to talk about it?"
Charlotte gave a weak smile and shrugged. "Hmm? Talk about what?"
"Whatever is on your mind. Your not as good of an actor as you think..." He nodded towards her bouncing knee. "You do that constantly, but it speeds up when your worried about something."
"Its just school stuff. I can handle it." She said, sounding falsely confident.
"Oh I know you can. My daughter can handle anything, but I asked if you wanted to talk about it."
At that, a thousand thoughts rushed through her mind. The ambiguous text, the guilt, the mixed feelings, the uncertainty about what she was feeling.
"Maybe soon? But, not now. Is that ok?" She mumbled.
"Of course. Whenever you want, Charlie."
They were quiet for the rest of the journey. Charlotte kept her eyes open, hoping to see Kaitlyn. Maybe she'd want a ride home? But probably not. Anyway, there was no sign of her.
As soon as she walked through the front door she was greeted by her mum.
"Charlie, how was school? Oh and...." She was cut off as charlotte's dad shook his head slightly. He kissed the top of his daughter's head and told her to go and try to relax a little.
As she walked by the door to the living room, Charlotte saw Connor asleep, still on the couch. It looked as though he hadn't moved all day. She climbed the stairs to her bedroom and headed straight for her bed, collapsing face first on to it. Laying there for a few minutes didn't help. Her head still buzzed with every confusing detail.
Pulling out her phone, she decided to message Laura.
-Hey. How are you doing? You're going to the party?! Can't wait! [Sent]-
A few minutes passed which gave Charlotte time to read through the messages between her and Kaitlyn. She thought of all the things she could have said differently and winced as she got back to the last text. Snapping her out of it, her phone buzzed again.
-Obviously I'm coming to the party! When do I not? I'm fine. Did I miss anything good at school?-
-Not really, the twins have been annoying as hell. Kyle and Sara are gross. Mr Hopkins still can't find a pit stain remover that works. [Sent]
-That's not what the twins tell me.. apparently there are rumors about you and some cutie. Details plz??!!-
-Wow. First, you speak to the twins before me? Second, they're the idiots that started the rumor and also the only ones who believe it. [Sent]-
-They text me. Obviously I spoke to you first. And are you sure it's not true? Or are you just hiding something from me?-
The accusation sank her stomach like a lead weight. She wasn't hiding anything. She told herself that over and over.
-Nope, not a thing. Why so curious anyway? [Sent]-
-Because I have a right to know which guys are sniffing around my girl :P -
-When one does, you'll be the first to know lol [Sent] -
-------
The rest of the week flew by. Kaitlyn hadn't said a word since they last spoke, despite Charlotte trying constantly to make things better. Laura still wasn't at school, but kept in text contact with her. The twins seemed to have gone back to their usual ways now that they had nothing to joke about. Before she knew it, the weekend arrived.
Charlotte stood in front of her mirror, double checking how she looked. A stylish jacket worn over a low cut, boy racer vest and her favourite black torn jeans. She pushed back her hair and let out a deep sigh before picking up her phone and leaving her bedroom. She almost reached the front door before her parents both called out to her.
"What? I don't want to be too late." She whined.
"We just want to make sure you're home at a decent time." He mum warned, sternly.
"Also..." Her dad began, sitting up a little straighter. "...Are you sure you're up to going out? You've been really quiet lately."
It was heartwarming to see her dad so concerned. The feeling of frustration was quickly replaced by warmth as she smiled to her parents. "Going out is exactly what I need. But thanks for asking. I won't be home late."
With that, she stepped outside. Giving kaitlyn's house a quick glance, she could see her bedroom light was on, but the curtains were drawn. Not giving it any more thought, she carried on to the twins house.
By the time she was there, the party was in full swing. Someone had obviously managed to pick up plenty for everyone to drink and the guests were spilling out of the house in to the front yard. Charlotte pushed through the mass of bodies until she was inside. Music was blaring and the huge crowd had fallen in to smaller groups of people looking comfortable and tipsy. She was turned around by a light touch on her shoulder, making her jump slightly. As she turned the view of striking blonde hair struck her vision.
"LAURA!" Charlotte practically screamed as she pulled her best friend in to a powerful hug. Laura hugged back even tighter as though it had been years since they were last together. "I'm so glad you're here!"
"As if I'd miss all this..." She gestured to the party around them. "...Plus I missed my favourite girl." She grinned.
"I wanted to ask how you're doing... with, everything?" She whispered in to Laura's ear, not breaking the hug until Laura pulled away, holding on to charlotte's shoulders.
"Later, I promise. But for now, drinks!" Without another word, Laura pulled her along to the kitchen where tens of bottles were laid out on the counter. The twins were standing back to back, holding conversations with two different groups. They didn't even notice the two girls pick up a bottle of rum and slip back out of the kitchen.
The two of them sat on the stairs looking out at the party, pouring themselves generous helpings. Familiar faces scattered the house, along with plenty they didn't quite recognise. The two of them spoke about the last few days; Charlotte left out everything about kaitlyn, trying her best not to let it ruin the good mood she was feeling, not that she even wanted to admit how bothered by it she was. Laura told her what it was like to tell her parents about the pictures. Apparently her dad went bezzerk, focusing on finding the guy responsible and making sure he was never found again. Her mum just cried with stress. The police were eventually involved, and because the pictures were of a minor, it was 'easily' dealt with. Laura said she'd be back at school next week and Charlotte couldn't wait to have her friend around again, especially now.
As the night went on, between drinking more and a lot of dancing, Charlotte felt her head spin. Noticing it, Laura took her by the wrist and lead her up the stairs where it was less occupied and more quiet. They stepped in to a large bedroom (probably the twin's parent's) and sat on the large bed that was covered with jackets and a few small purses. As she laid back, Charlotte felt her head connect with something, hard. Reaching under her, she pulled out the denim jacket that was covered with punk pins and anarchy symbols, throwing it further up the bed.
Laura laid next to her smiling contentedly. Her face was red, she had drank enough to make her warm up and the party didn't leave a lot of fresh air.
"I'm so glad you're back." Charlotte mumbled, trying not to slur.
"Me too. I missed you like crazy babe." Laura grinned back at her.
"You know..." Charlotte propped herself up on her elbow. "...You can't disappear like that again. Or I'll replace you" she giggled. Laura took tell same position, resting her head on her hand.
"As if! I'm irreplaceable and you know it" she winked.
"Ok.. Maybe you are. Where would I ever find another girl like you?" As she said that, her eyes felt heavy. As her eyelids closed, she felt a warm touch cover her cheek, leading her to lean in to it. Her heart almost stopped as she felt a pair of warm, glossed lips connect with hers, slowly and deliberately.
Lost in the sensation and the shock, Charlotte almost fell back off of the bed. Her eyes shot open and the soft touch that was cradling her face was now holding her in the kiss.
Charlotte pulled back to question her friend, only to notice the figures standing in the doorway. A large group that had wandered upstairs were looking on excitedly at the two girls. Time seemed to freeze until one guy in the back of the crowd yelled out;
"Damn Laura. From posing online to this? Nice!"
Laura didn't speak, or even look up. Instead she grabbed her jacket and rushed out of the room, pushing aside anyone between her and the stairs. A few people followed her in concern, leaving only a couple behind. At the front of them, looking somewhere between shocked and flustered, was Kaitlyn.

I love this! 😍
MC X Becca - Drunk Part 1
“Just one more dance?” You flutter your eyelashes and pout, desperate to change her mind. “Pleeeeeeease?”
Becca sighs but can’t help hiding the smirk from catching her lips. She tightens her grip around your waist, almost failing to keep you upright. “Nice try but I gave into that almost two hours ago, now co-operate with me here so I can take you home.”
Frowning like a small child you admit defeat. “Fine. But I may be too drunk to undress myself.”
Becca laughs and keeps you from falling over again. “Let’s just worry about keeping you from falling over. Now hold on tighter to me.”
You bring your mouth to Becca’s ear, sliding away the hairs that are covering it by using the delicate tip of your finger and tucking them behind.
With seduction in your voice you whisper “Catch me if you can.” Darting towards the dance floor.
Becca lifts her hands high and sighs , shouting after you “Fine! But this is the last dance. I’m serious!”
Once you get far enough into the crowd of the dance floor you feel her slender hands gripping around your waist and her chin finding Its place on your shoulder. You take a moment to appreciate her familiar scent and how she felt on your skin before spinning around to face her.
“Hey.” You say, a huge grin on your lips.
Becca laughs again, trying to give you a stern look but failing miserably. “You’re going to be the death of me, you know that right?”
Instead of replying you grab her face with both hands and pull down until her lips meet yours.
You feel Becca smile into the kiss before she pulls away. “Your mouth tastes like vodka.”
You drag your tongue across your lips and wink at her. “Your lips taste like chapstick.”
This time it’s Becca that brings her lips to your ear with a hushed tone. “Now let me take you home.”
“Fine.” You detest. “One more kiss?”
Becca roles her eyes and presses a quick kiss to your lips. “There. Now let’s go.”
Just as you start to feel your legs wobble you feel her grabbing your waist again, offering her support.

Lesbian culture is:
- falling for a straight girl
- falling for a girl that lives 13017 kilometres away
- falling for a girl and never telling her
- falling for a celebrity that isn’t gay and you can’t date
- falling for a girl you talked to once and will never see again
- falling for a girl and finally telling her only to find out she doesn’t feel the same way
