i reread the second one also and found more funny bits………. i’m entertaining myself with these, okay, leave me alone

apparently artemis got sent to a boarding school, so butler was supposed to have time off but he just like. wouldn’t go away. and had to be kicked off the grounds. twice.

when holly tries to mind-control butler into helping her kidnap artemis but his dad instincts™ are too strong so he resists to the point where holly is like “what the fuck you’re not supposed to be able to do that”

also while this is happening, artemis is ten feet away trying to forge an email from his mother so he can skip school for a week and go to russia. 

holly has apparently decided that every illegal thing that she hears about is somehow artemis’ fault. every single thing. it is him exactly zero of the times.

when all those goblins (and the main villains) watch artemis flop out of a tube of radioactive slime and start frantically pressing buttons on the wall and they all let him for a little bit bc they’re just like ????? is that a fucking human???

the number of times butler picks up artemis and flings him directly into a snowdrift. i think the number is two. but it is a funny number.

“if alive, please help. if not, wrong number.”

artemis is being held hostage and while everyone else is screaming, his phone rings and he just goes “………………. !! o shit sorry, that’s mine”

also butler saw artemis being held hostage and got so mad he ran directly through a door that Was reinforced but was not, and i quote, “butler-proof”

when james and regulus get married, they don’t tell anyone.

they’re both rich and pretentious and a bit snobby, so everyone expects them to have a massively expensive and well-planned ceremony. and initially, that’s what they were going to do.

and then one night they’re lying in bed together, and james turns over and says “let’s get married in the morning” and regulus, without missing a beat, says “okay.”

they get dressed up and head to the courthouse, recite their vows in a private room and sign the necessary papers, and then they go home. they cook and drink wine and have their first dance in their kitchen, illuminated by the golden glow of the setting sun, and it’s all perfect.

it’s all they need, and they don’t have to wait any longer for their forever.
