What's ur opinion on rainy days? Do they fill you with glee, ssdness, or boredom?
Hmmm I happen to like rainy days, especially during the winter, where you can sit in front of the fire. But too many rainy days makes me gloomy and it definitely affects my mood
the fact that neurotypical people can just maintain friendships, remember to pay their bills, and remembering their basic needs blows my mind. I only eat because my stomach growls, otherwise I'd forget. Hyperfocus makes me forget the entire outside world for hours (including my own physiological needs)
There’s no such thing as work-life balance for neurodivergent & chronically ill people.
This is because everything in my life requires work:
maintaining friendships
keeping up with my hygiene
managing bills
making money
remembering my basic needs
sleeping regularly
outputting creatively
All requires some aspect of work for me.
And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.
If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.
If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.
Am I the only one who gets so fucking proud of finishing a story? Especially with ADHD and my history of starting things and not finishing them?
This has been one of my favorite stories to write, I'm so proud of how it turned out and I hope you guys are too!
