✨•DECEMBER WORKSHOP BUNDANON•✨ We have had a couple of spots available in our Bundanon Workshop this month. Join artist Nicole Kelly, culinary excellence Lauren  Forlonge and I for a weekend painting and drawing workshop at Bundanon, on the beautiful NSW South Coast. We’ll be staying at the architecturally designed Boyd Education Centre and the weekend will be fully catered by Lauren. All levels All ages 16+. Nicole and I each take a practical approach to teaching painting, where beginners can learn fundamental skills such as how to arrange a palette, colour mixing and composition, mark making, while those with more experience can focus on developing their approach. The weekend will focus on composition, colour, line, the use of a colored ground, how to incorporate the elements to direct the eye across the picture plane and pictorial problem solving. I’m showing paintings I did from my first trip to Antarctica in 1992, along with some paintings and monotypes that together will be in a group exhibtion at the University of Wollongong. Located in the new gallery in the Jillian Broadbent building, the show opens next week as a part of the Antarctic Futures event, comprising of the exhibtion, seminar and workshops. It’s a wonderful program that looks at environmental, scientific and artistic issues and ideas around this extraordinary continent.
