i love it when powerful, intelligent characters fall in love with each other, especially amidst a conflict, because those types of characters are often so seemingly invulnerable and untouchable

yet have two of them fall in love and suddenly neither are quite so invincible anymore. they’re each other’s achilles heel. their weakness. 

and they know this. maybe their love will be their downfall. maybe it will all end in pain. the danger is there. 

but it doesn’t matter, because they can’t go back, and they don’t want to go back anyways.

I JUST NOTICED THEY CHANGED THE WORDING in the Jinenji episode, in the manga he says having Kagome by him is ‘home’ or a ‘place where he belongs’, meanwhile in the anime he says having Kagome by him feels natural EVEN WHEN SUNRISE ANIMATES THE SCENE THEY TAKE OUT THE MOST IMPACTFUL WORDS

They really decided to include everything except the last part of the sentence... the part where Inuyasha basically says he belongs with Kagome... Wow LMAO 

Sunrise was really dead set on removing every single line where Inuyasha confirms that he has feelings for Kagome and that he wants to be with her 💀 It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so sad.

Out of all the HxH characters, why did u pick Meruem?

Meruem is my most beloved HxH character; indeed, one of my most beloved characters from any piece of media. As such, I find it very delightful and very easy to completely deconstruct and disgrace him lovingly and (dis)respectfully thru the medium of art and text. Coincidentally, many others seem to feel the same way about him. His character is an endless supply of theory and discussion, strangeness and humanity; deeply serious and yet completely goofy. He is also a green ant man in a lil vest and that is funny. Thus, this blog exists, is sustained, and persists thru his perpetual magnetism.

Also, when this blog went up at the height of the 2016 Dailyblog Phenomenon, Meruem wasn't taken yet and I took my chance because hes definitely the easiest HxH character to draw and I definitely didn't cause myself years of undue suffering trying to render his big helmet head (said affectionately).
