What I am about to say could be considered so evil to some but like... the fact of the matter is that you need to be a certain level of thoughtful and intelligent to understand TTPD and it is very evident that the people who are very vocal about it being "bad" just... aren't that thoughtful or intelligent. And that's okay! But maybe don't say something is bad if you just don't personally want to take more than 2 seconds to understand a piece of art.

I think it depends on the context. overall, I feel like she'd try to reinforce that lena doesn't have to prove her love with expensive gifts-- kara is already there, she doesn't need to be won over

for kara, she cares much more about the significance of the gift than the price. so if the gift is something really meaningful to her, or to both of them (like box seat tickets to her favorite broadway show, or a piece of jewelry she's been eyeing because it reminds her of something worn on krypton) she would of course accept it

but she wouldn't want lena to feel like she has to go out of her way things and I think, at first, that would be hard for lena to understand. she's so used to her worth being defined by what she can produce and material things

but once lena grows more confident in herself and what they have, she would find her footing and stop feeling the need to spend so much

Favorite villain from Supergirl?

it'll always be Reign

to me, she's the most complex villain we've ever seen on supergirl because she didn't want to be the villain, she fought that piece of herself so hard, even as it tried to consume her.

Reign was also the only villain who seemed to be able to consistently match Kara in a way that nobody else could.

and I loved seeing lena try to help 'cure' her (for lack of a better word)

How do you think Sadie would react if it had been Grace or Lola or Kimberlyn who caught her kissing Malcolm?

oh my gosh I think she'd probably freeze up with embarrassment and start stammering through some sort of explanation. I also see her unintentionally throwing him under the bus and her commitment issues coming to surface, by saying something about how she doesn't actually care, and it's just a hook up

I just watched National Treasure with a kid I was babysitting and it made me wonder...

How successful would LoGraKimDie be in a heist like that to steal something as significant and well guarded as the Declaration of Independence? Like, would Lola even care? 🤣

okay full disclosure, I've never actually seen that movie

I think LoGraKimDie would be like 99% successful. they'd make some complex plan and they'd execute it to a TEE but then they'd be caught at the very last step and everything would come crumbling down

like... their bus would break down and they'd call roadside assistance but instead, the police show up to find all of them drunk on whipped cream shots, taking selfies with the Decleration of Independence

as for Lola I do think she'd care. but it wouldn't be for the same reason as the other girls. she'd be sticking it to the old white men in government (as she should)
