random headcanons abt different sdv characters bc im hyperfixating:

• elliott actually grew up somewhere with very poor literacy rates and little funding for the arts, the only reason people didn't believe he would succeed as an author was because everybody expected him to just finish high school and have a blue collar job

• shane and jas are both wasian (filipino) but since jas didn't grow up with her parents she experiences a bit of cultural disconnect. shane really doesn't want to see her lose her identity so at every chance he cooks filipino food for her, teaches her bits and pieces of tagalog, etc :)

• marlon and the wizard are fucking

• penny and maru are bffs because they both have autistic girl swag

stardew valley bachelors and their thoughts on kanye west (im jewish and i make the rules):

• sam has a kanye tattoo and has a coverup appointment in june

• alex hates kanye but loves kids see ghosts (nobody has the heart to tell him kanye is part of it)

• sebastian got off the kanye train after graduation

• elliott is really fucking jewish thats all i have to say 🤷🏻‍♀️

• shane is not on any social media, watches no news, and has no idea whats happening. he will only find out in three years

• harvey hates kanye bc he loves kim. this just made him hate kanye more
