for me it's the way we can see hawk's emotions so clearly at the 80s as a result of a man who's emotionally exhausted of keep on preserving himself (something that has only lead to one good thing in his life; his kids) and the fact that we see his shield crack just before he gets the call back from tim's house as he stares at those men being able to be affectionate in public. the exhaustion is caused by society's expectations (which proves that complying to them is also harmful to one's mind and body) that made him lie and eat up his lies in hopes of a "someday" that never arrived. or perhaps it did with the european posting, but at what cost?
so funny to me that this silly little side blog i impulsively created in december because of this fucking show that has not left my head since october now has more followers than my main blog
Hawk laughing at Tim's boyfriend, Arthur, being a poet really hurts when you remember that Jackson was a poet, and the only reason Hawk knew Jackson was a poet was because Tim told him.
